Healing Environment is to cure the user as a whole by considering his social, psychological aspect, beyond the functional aspect of treatment. Various design elements of healing space have been developed so far, but they were mostly described with same rank. Even though every element is significant, facilities such as nursing homes tends to run with low budget, and they can't fulfill them all at the same time. It is important to find the sequence between design elements. The purpose of this study is to reorganize the design principles of healing environment by Maslow's hierarchy of needs(Physiological needs, Safety needs, Love/Affilitation needs, Self-Esteem needs and Self-Actualization needs), and analyze elderly nursing homes and examine the framework itself by application. Research method was consist of literature review on healing space design elements and hierarchy of needs, reconstruction of design elements with hierarchy, and application on 5 Korean nursing home cases. As the result, Maslow's hierarchy of needs and design elements were linked with good balance. Analysis of 5 nursing homes revealed that lower needs were short of environmental support compared to higher needs. Especially design elements related to Physiological needs should be improved. Also, new framework had strength in not only providing gasps on current situation in detail, but also suggesting elements for improvement with hierarchy and sequence. Through this research healing environment design elements and human needs were linked. Nursing home is the last environment for the elderly, which should help to heal their body and mind and also support them to accomplish self-actualization.

본 연구는 한국 시니어 소비자들의 욕구와 그 특성을 파악하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 매슬로우의 7단계 욕구위계 이론의 각 욕구 요인들을 한국 실정에 맞게 재정립하여 적용하였다. 새롭게 정립한 시니어 소비자의 욕구 요인과 측정 문항의 신뢰성 및 타당성을 입증하여 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 욕구의 차이와 관계성을 밝히고자 하였다. 연구 분석을 위해 한국에 거주하는 액티브 시니어 세대로 불리는 장년층과 시니어 세대에 해당하는 440명(만 50세~75세)의 성인을 대상으로 7단계의 욕구 요인과 인구통계학적 특성에 대한 온라인 설문조사를 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 한국 시니어 소비자들의 7단계 욕구가 매슬로우의 단계와는 다른 순서로 도출되었다. 특히, 소속감 및 사랑, 자아존중감 욕구의 순위가 달라졌으며, 인지적 욕구와 심미적 욕구가 자아실현 욕구 단계보다 상위에 위치한다는 것이 확인되었다. 둘째, 시니어 소비자들의 인지적 욕구와 심미적 욕구는 성별, 연령대에 따른 차이를 보였으며 생리적, 자아존중감, 인지적, 심미적, 자아실현 욕구는 시니어 소비자들의 월평균 수입에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 자아실현 욕구는 최종학력에 따른 차이를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구는 급변하는 인구의 고령화와 베이비부머 세대의 본격적인 은퇴 등으로 부각된 한국 시니어 소비자들의 욕구 특성을 밝혔다. 그와 더불어, 한국 시니어 소비자들의 독특한 욕구는 매슬로우의 위계와는 다른 위계 순서를 갖는다는 점을 밝혀냈다는 것에 의의를 둘 수 있다. 그 외의 다양한 이론적 함의와 실무적 함의도 제시되었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to evaluate the needs satisfaction of nurses and examine its validity and reliability. Methods: The initial items for the instrument were developed through a literature review and interviews, using the conceptual framework of Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. The initial items were evaluated for content validity by 14 experts. Four hundred and eighty-six clinical nurses participated in this study through offline and online surveys to test the reliability and validity of the instrument. The first evaluation (n = 256) was used for item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, and the second evaluation (n = 230) was used to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis and to assess the criterion-related validity and internal consistency of the instrument. Test-retest reliability was analyzed using data from 30 nurses. Results: The final instrument consisted of 30 items with two sub-factors for five needs that were identified through the confirmatory factor analysis. The criterion-related validity was established using the five need satisfaction measures (r = .56). Cronbach's α for total items was .90, and test-retest reliability was .89. Conclusion: The findings from this study indicate that this instrument has sufficient validity and reliability. This instrument can be used for the development of nursing interventions to improve the needs satisfaction of clinical nurses.

When the Professional Librarians can be satisfied with the needs in perfoming their jobs, they feel the job satisfaction. In other words, the job desire consists of the directly related factors such as fitness, dexterity and the value of the work and those opinions regarding the environments, pays, problems of the promotion, promise of the job. This thesis is a study of these factors that affect the Professional Librarans' job desire of the university libraries in Korea. The purpose of the study is to analyze the perceived degree of Professional Librarians' job desire. To meet this purpose, this study is based upon A.H. Maslow's motivation theory "Hierarchy of Needs" and analyzed by the method of "Cafeteria Question" the answers gathered from 226 Professional Librarians who are work ing in University Libraries. The analyzed results show that generally the job desires of Professional Librarians in university libraries are low and stands in a situation that doesn't meet even the low dimensional needs of Maslow's theory. So the top library managers should establish the long-term plan to promote the job desire and the factors which cause the frustration of the Professional Librarians should be removed as soon as possible.

Based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, this research only employs whether to meet consumer needs as a measure, and focuses on the Collaboration Series between Uniqlo and KAWS to discuss the influence of the collaboration between fashion brands and artists on consumer needs. What's more, this paper also proposes whether the collaboration with artists as brands can meet the higher needs of consumers and influence new consumer groups. Finally, it is concluded that the collaboration between fashion brands and artists plays an active role in meeting the higher needs of consumers and can expand new consumer groups, which will provide reference and theoretical basis for enterprises to conduct collaboration with art, incorporate the needs of consumers into the scope of planning, and consider the collaboration with artists more comprehensively.

본 연구의 목적은 독거노인의 욕구를 지원하기 위한 ICT기반 독거노인복지서비스의 역할을 정립하는 것이다. 독거노인은 고령화가 가속됨에 따라 2010년 102만 가구로 증가 추세이며 정신적, 사회적, 경제적인 어려움 등으로 인해 사회문제로 대두되었다. 본 연구는 기존 시행된 6개 부처의 85개 노인복지서비스와 향후 제공가능 한 114개 ICT기반 복지서비스를 조사하였다. 이들 서비스를 Maslow의 욕구분류체계에 따라 유형화하고 오프라인, 온라인, 온오프라인병행 서비스로 구분하였다. 연구의 결과는 안전욕구(의료 건강), 자아실현욕구(여가 문화) 서비스에 집중되어 있고 자존욕구 서비스는 저조한 것으로 나타났다. ICT기반 노인복지서비스를 통해 환경개선, 일자리 확대, 독립적인 일상생활지원 서비스는 개선이 가능하고 심리/정서지원 서비스 등은 추가 발굴이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과로 현재 제공되는 서비스의 편중은 완화하고 부재는 보완하는 등 ICT기반 수요자 중심 노인복지서비스를 통해 독거노인의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구의 목적은 임상간호사를 대상으로 Maslow의 욕구위계이론에 근거한 5가지 욕구만족이 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 욕구만족과 이직의도의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개효과를 확인한 융합연구이다. 연구참여자는 서울에 소재한 종합병원의 임상간호사 239명이었다. 수집한 자료는 위계적 회귀분석과 PROCESS Macro (Model 4)를 이용하여 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 생리적 욕구와 안전 욕구는 직무만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았고, 소속감 욕구, 존중 욕구 및 자아실현 욕구가 직무만족에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 반면, 생리적 욕구와 존중 욕구가 이직의도에 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 임상간호사의 욕구만족(생리적 욕구, 안전 욕구, 소속감 욕구 및 자아실현 욕구)과 이직의도 간의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개변수가 유의하게 나타났다. 임상간호사의 5가지 욕구만족이 증가하면 직무만족을 매개로 하여 의직의도를 감소시킬 수 있으므로, 간호사의 욕구만족과 직무만족을 효과적으로 관리할 필요가 있음을 논의하였다.

Quality is distinguished from the other important management indicators, cost and profitability, by the features of its far longer history and of common concern to both manufacturer and customer. We may say from this that quality has a far more human aspect than either cost or profitability. We stress the importance of establishing “quality culture.” But we do not commonly use the terms of “cost culture” or “productivity culture.”In addition, we know from our experiences that improving quality by creative methods can lead to lower cost and higher productivity, although the converse is not necessarily true. In the Maslow's hierarchy of human needs, it is known that the character of human needs changes from extrinsic and material ones at lower levels to intrinsic and mental or spiritual ones at higher levels. We know from our experience that employee satisfaction is closely linked with quality, which is of more human nature and can further be deployed into the detailed elements of quality. The leaders and managers should positively display leadership and respond to the efforts of the subordinates. Without these managerial leadership and efforts, it is almost impossible to provide essential and true customer satisfaction. They are the indispensable elements for business excellence.

The purpose of this study was to investigate Korean college students' housing values and housing expectations as well as considerations for housing in their 20s and to explore influences on housing values and expectations. Items related to four housing functions were developed in conjunction with Maslow's hierarchy of human needs to measure housing values. An on-site questionnaire survey was administered to students of a university-A located in Chungbuk province between May 28, 2012, and June 17, 2012. Among the total 476 responses, 465 responses from Korean students were used for further data analyses. The findings are as follows: (1) Among housing functions, those related to shelter functions were perceived as most important followed by function as a place for self-esteem. (2) More than 70 percent of the respondents expected to rent a housing unit in their 20s and more than half of the respondents expected non-traditional and relatively affordable compact size structure types such as studio, Officetel or Gosiwon. (3) Price, location and transportation were found to be the most important considerations when choosing housing in their 20s. (4) Convenience in use of public transportation and commute time were found to be the most important in location choice, and maintenance conditions and security systems were the most important for building choice. (5) Female respondents tended to consider personal safety, security systems, neighborhood facilities, and distance from family more important than male respondents when choosing housing, while male respondents considered parking space more important than females.

현재 한국은 고령사회에 진입하면서 폭넓은 분야에서 노인문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구는 노인문제 중 노인의 건강문제와 안전문제에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 이론적 배경으로 매슬로우의 욕구이론을 적용하였으며, 욕구 5단계 중 생리적 욕구와 안전의 욕구를 노인건강과 안전에 연관하여 새로운 이론을 설정하였다. 노인의 건강문제는 생리적 욕구에 적용하여 신체와 인지, 심리부분으로 자세히 살펴보고, 실내, 외에서 발생하는 안전사고는 안전욕구와 관련하여 알아보고자 한다. 빅데이터 포탈인 네이버 데이터랩을 통해 노인의 건강과 안전문제에 대한 버즈량이 꾸준히 증가하고 있음을 알 수 있고, 구글 트렌드를 통해 연관검색어를 설정하여 노인문제에 대한 관심사를 파악 할 수 있다. 연관검색어에 따르면 건강문제는 건강과 관련한 사회적인 부분, 안전사고 문제는 사고종류와 관련된 키워드가 상위권을 이루었다. 이러한 연구결과는 노인문제의 연구와 해결방안에 중요한 기초자료가 될 것이다.
