경쟁시장에서 유지보수계획 및 입찰전략 수립에 관한 연구 (Generator Scheduling and Bidding Strategies in Competitive Electricity Market)

  • The vertically integrated power industry was divided into six generation companies and one market operator, where electricity trading was launched at power exchange. In this environment, the profits of each generation companies are guaranteed according to utilization of their own generation equipments. This paper represents on generator maintenance scheduling and efficient bidding strategies for generation equipments through the calculation of the contract and the application of each generator cost function based on the past demand forecasting error and market operating data.

  • This paper describes allocation strategies of controllable loads for load aggregator in power market with the direct load control (DLC) program, which is carried out the two-way confirmation procedure. So, it is needed to the priority among the controllable loads to perform effectively and quickly the confirmation task. In this paper, allocation strategies for market operator and/or load aggregator are proposed, which are based on the basic load patterns defined in this paper. To verify the soundness of proposed strategies. case study on a sample system is performed.

  • The electric power industry throughout the world is undergoing considerable changes from the vertically integrated utility structure to the deregulated market. However, the deregulated electricity market is operated with respect to theory of economical efficiency, and therefore, the system operator requires data with fast contingency ranking for security of the bulk power system. This paper presents fast calculation method for determining contingency ranking using the weather dependant probabilistic risk index(PRI). The probabilistic risk index can be classified into normal weather and adverse weather. This paper proposes calculation method using the probabilistic risk index in determining contingency ranking requiring for security under the deregulated electricity market.

  • This paper presents an hour-ahead System Marginal Price (SMP) forecasting framework based on a neural network. Recently, the deregulation in power industries has impacted on the power system operational problems. The bidding strategy of market participants in energy market is highly dependent on the short-term price levels. Therefore, short-term SMP forecasting is a very important issue to market participants to maximize their profits. and to market operator who may wish to operate the electricity market in a stable sense. The proposed hybrid neural network is composed of tow parts. First part of this scheme is pattern classification to input data using Kohonen Self-Organizing Map (SOM) and the second part is SMP forecasting using back-propagation neural network that has three layers. This paper compares the forecasting results using classified input data and unclassified input data. The proposed technique is trained, validated and tested with historical date of Korea Power Exchange (KPX) in 2002.

Application of Differential Evolution to Dynamic Economic Dispatch Problem with Transmission Losses under Various Bidding Strategies in Electricity Markets

  • This paper presents the application of Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm to obtain a solution for Bid Based Dynamic Economic Dispatch (BBDED) problem including the transmission losses and to maximize the social profit in a deregulated power system. The IEEE-30 bus test system with six generators, two customers and two trading periods are considered under various bidding strategies in a day-ahead electricity market. By matching the bids received from supplying and distributing entities, the Independent System Operator (ISO) maximize the social profit, (with the choices available). The simulation results of DE are compared with the results of Particle swarm optimization (PSO). The results demonstrate the potential of DE algorithm and show its effectiveness to solve BBDED.

  • Models and Strategies for Network Operator's B2B Ecommerce The B2B ecommerce market is one of the fastest growing areas in the telecom industry. However network operators have been slow to enter the arena, Network operator have been held back by their general unsurety about the Internet business. Network operators'core business(the supply of connectivity and transport service) is becoming unprofitable. As a result they are looking to diversify into areas where margins are higher. B2B ecommerce offers them a major way to achieve this. It is possible to identify various business models for offering ecommerce services to end user, ranging from the provision of complete packaged applications to the implementation and management of customized ecommerce solution. In this study the three main approaches available to network operators are the traditional IT outsourcing model, the ASP model and the community builder model.

Maya를 이용한 모션 베이스 컨트롤에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Motion Base Control by Using Maya)

  • The motion base to a film used in 4D cinema theaters or theme parks is different depending on the operator's control or hardware system and this causes inefficiency in management of the theater. There are several different simulation software on the present market, but these are difficult for an animation producer to use them. This study introduces the idea in which a film producer simulates the movement of the motion base by using computer graphic animation tools mostly adopted by production for creating 3D animation and motion control data. Maya and 3D Cross were used to show the path of a motion camera visually. Attitude and axis control data were extracted from the movement of the virtual motion base and were used to control a prototype of the motion base. As a result, the motion control data from computer graphic animation tools can be created so that a film producer can create standard motion control data independently regardless of the hardware and operator's skill.

  • 전 세계 컨테이너 터미널 시장은 향후에도 물동량 증가세가 지속될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 드류리(Drewry)에 따르면, 2017년 글로벌 컨테이너 물동량은 전년대비 6.3% 증가한 7.5억TEU를 기록했으며, 2022년 9.3억TEU으로 지속적으로 증가할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 한편, IHS Markit에 따르면, 글로벌 터미널 운영사(GTO) 시장은 매년 10% 이상 성장하여 2017년에는 24억 달러에서 2022년에는 30억 달러를 초과할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우, GTO는 현대상선이 유일한 실정이다. 특히 국내 수출입물동량의 증가세 둔화, 미·중 무역마찰로 인한 컨테이너 시장의 환경변화, 한·일 무역마찰로 인한 컨테이너 물동량의 변화가증성 등 대내외적으로 해운·항만시장은 급격한 변화를 맞이하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지속적으로 성장하는 GTO 시장에 국내 기업이 참여할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 우선 전세계 GTO 시장의 현황을 분석한 후에, 항만공사 및 한국해양진흥공사를 통한 GTO 설립방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이에 4가지 유형의 설립방안을 제시하고, GTO 설립을 위한 관련 법제도의 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • The vertically integrated power industry was divided into six generation companies and one market operator, where electricity trading was launched at power exchange. In this environment, the profits of each generation companies are guaranteed according to utilization of their own generation equipments. Especially, the electricity demand shows seasonal and weekly regular pattern, which the some capacity should be provided into ancillary service based on the past demand forecasting error and operating results of electricity market. Namely, if generation cost function is applied to SMP and BLMP as announced the previous day, the available generation capacity of the following day could be optimally distributed, and therefore contract capacity of ancillary service applied to CBP(Cost Based Pool) and TWBP(Two-Way Bidding Pool) is determined. Consequently, it is Possible to use the retained equipments optimally. This paper represents on efficient bidding strategies for generation equipments through the calculation of the contract and the application of each generator cost function based on the past demand forecasting error and market operating data.

복수운영체제에서 철도시설관리자의 철도시설물 유지보수 조직과 업무 설정 (The Responsibility of An Infrastructure Manager Toward A Railway Competitive Market)

  • 2004년 시행된 철도구조개혁은 철도산업의 생산성에 대한 효율성을 높이기 위하여 철도운영과 철도시설관리를 이원화 하였다. 그러나 본래의 취지와는 달리 기존 시설물 유지관리에 관한 인력의 대부분이 운영기관에 귀속되어 있어 실질적인 유지관리 업무는 철도운영자에 의하여 수행되고 있다. 철도시설관리자의 역할은 철도운영자가 유지보수 업무에 따른 비용 산정에 관한 업무만 국가로부터 위탁을 받아 행정적인 처리만 수행하고 있다. 이러한 불완전한 구조개혁은 향후 철도환경변화에 따라 다수의 운영자가 존재할 경우 철도 시설관리에 대한 역할과 책임 구분이 불명확한 문제가 발생하여 철도 운행의 안전을 위협할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 동일 시설물을 다수의 철도운영자가 사용한다는 가정 하에 철도운행 안전 확보를 위하여 철도시설관리자가 철도시설물 유지보수 업무를 효율적으로 수행 할 수 있는 유지보수 업무 및 조직 설정 방안을 제시하였다.
