  • The $21^{st}$ century is a new century of environmental protection. Environmental protection is one of the most important subject matters yet to come. Moreover, as the public pays more attention to environmental problems, enterprises should increase their investment in environmental management. Therefore, determining the investment level for environmental management and allocating the investment to associated environmental management activities has become a major task. The principal and agent theory and sales response functions are used for analysis in this research. The allocation of capital investment in environmental management is found to have significant impact on the aggregate sales response, aggregate profit and investment level. Therefore, in preparing the budget for environmental management, enterprises should focus on investment allocation decisions, determine the investment level and allocation method using integrated means, and apply submarket data in the allocation decision-making process. In other words, in setting the investment level, executive management should take managers' willingness into consideration. In allocating capital investment, managers should identify the optimal allocation method based on submarket characteristics.

  • The disaster damage can be reduced not only by quick response to its scene, but also by right resource allocation to the right places. The role of information quality on disaster resource has been considered to be an important factor for disaster management. The aim of this research is to investigate and explain the relationship between information quality and performance on disaster resource management. The information quality control for the disaster response operator is central to deliver right information to right people among different government levels such as local, state, and federal government.

  • This article deals with the customers' complaint behaviors and complaint management for cosmetic customers. The general aim is to analyze the changes of complaint behavioral responses before and after the complaint management experiences, describing customers' response patterns in terms of how they are influenced by the service justice and satisfaction of complaint management. The most relevant contributions from the related theoretical work indicate that the better the customer complaints are managed, the higher the level of possibility for customers to complaint, especially for public and direct responses(complaint behaviors). The only exception, although the statistical significant support was not found, is the private response, as the chance gets lower than before experiencing the complaint management.

  • Internet of things (IoT) has emerged as the most popular technique that facilitates enhancing humans' quality of life. However, most time sensitive IoT applications require quick response time. So, processing these IoT applications in cloud servers may not be effective. Therefore, fog computing has emerged as a promising solution that addresses the problem of managing large data bandwidth requirements of devices and quick response time. This technology has resulted in processing a large amount of data near the data source compared to the cloud. However, efficient management of computing resources involving balancing workload, allocating resources, provisioning resources, and scheduling tasks is one primary consideration for effective computing-based solutions, specifically for time-sensitive applications. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the source management strategies considering resource limitations, heterogeneity, unpredicted traffic in the fog computing environment. It presents recent developments in the resource management field of the fog computing environment. It also presents significant management issues such as resource allocation, resource provisioning, resource scheduling, task offloading, etc. Related studies are compared indifferent mentions to provide promising directions of future research by fellow researchers in the field.

  • As buildings become more and more complicated, the importance of developing and managing facility management information is increasing. In a building fire situation, various information is generated and needed to be quickly shared among participants. However, the current fire response system fails to monitor the relevant information in a real time basis. This study aims to develop a system prototype for fire protection management which can quickly and accurately manage and effectively deliver the pertinent information to the target participants. The research contributes to the efficiency of fire protection endeavors by interpreting both dynamic and static fire information in an appropriate manner.

  • Disaster is when, where, and how uncertainties, which might occur. Thus, for disaster response and management at the national and local governments have been made. Korea has established the Disaster and Safety Management Basic Act. Disaster Management has been made at the national level which is to prevent disasters and countries in order to protect citizens from harm and dangerous. Korean Disaster management system is well equipped with advanced countries. The Organization of national and local government are well-maintained substantially for the disaster activities and step-by-step manuals activities. Despite that uncertainty, due to the nature of the disaster, while infrequent, causing large-scale tragedy. Minimize the damage of the disaster as a disaster management efforts are needed. Normally a real disaster, a disaster situation, efforts are to be utilized efficiently, the effectiveness of the system will appear. But while the number of large-scale disasters, including the sinking of Sewol this time for the government and local governments see the response process, the system did not work and the manual existed in the cabinet. There was no Prevention and preparation activities, there was no integrated organization for the response management with expertise in the professional staff. Whenever a large disaster raised repeatedly as a problem, but there was a substantial change in formal but no improvement. It will not reduce the damage if the disaster management is not prepared for a revolutionary turning point.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review the relationship between job characteristics and job stress responses(physiological response, psychological response, behavioral response), and the moderating effect of social support. Based on the responses from 187 employees in small & medium manufacturing industry, hierarchical regressional analysis showed that job characteristics factors have partly negative relationships with job stress response. However, job variety has positive relationship. Social support has partly moderating effect on the relationship between job characteristics and job stress.

  • Purpose: This paper aims at improving inefficiency of an existing posterior preference articulation method proposed for dual response surface optimization. The method generates a set of non-dominated solutions and then allows a decision maker (DM) to select the best solution among them through an interval selection strategy. Methods: This paper proposes an iterative posterior preference articulation method, which repeatedly generates the predetermined number of non-dominated solutions in an interval which becomes gradually narrower over rounds. Results: The existing method generates a good number of non-dominated solutions not used in the DM's selection process, while the proposed method generates the minimal number of non-dominated solutions necessitated in the selection process. Conclusion: The proposed method enables a satisfactory compromise solution to be achieved with minimal cognitive burden of the DM as well as with light computation load in generating non-dominated solutions.

  • In computer simulation models the output from the computer code is often deterministic, i.e., running the code twice with the same values for the input variables would give the same output. It is discussed why the response surface method with polynomial approximation for the true response function is a good approximation to the computer experiments model. A sequential strategy to find the proper reduced quadratic polynomial model is illustrated with a case study in the military war game computer simulation model.
