The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the personality type and the residential evaluation & remodeling preference in interior finishes and floor layouts. The subjects of this investigation were collected through questionnaire from two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. By using the rotated component matrix of varimax method & the one way anova method of spss for windows Rel. 11.0 in my former study, there are analyzed several significances in eight personality types; E(extraversion), I(introversion), S(sensing), N(intuition), T(thinking), F(feeling), J(judging) and P(perceiving) in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). This study shows that actual floor plans, remodeling preference plans & interior finishes materials of each personality type was analyzed several significances by Chi-Square. As results, during consulting the client in the residential projects, personality test may take precedence over everything else, and then designer can consider it for hidden client needs in the residential interiors & remodelings. Designers might understand the nature of personality in order to design wisely for clients. This method will allow the designer & consultant to more fully understand clients' preference.

With the development of cognitive science and environmental psychology, there have been growing researches and discussions on the relationship between the residential design preferences and personality types. MBTI personality types have been earning popular credibility. MBTI means Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It is based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological type. This study is based on Myers-Briggs theory to explain residential furnishing preference and explores the relationship between the four bi-polar personality types-Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Perceiving and residential furnishing preference. These tests were conducted to two hundred and twelve adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. These tests were analyzed several significances by Chi-Square with SPSS for windows software. (E) Extroverted residents prefer layouts for interaction with guests. (I) Introverted residents prefer centripetal layout around the bed. (S) Sensing residents prefer practical and functional layouts. (N) Intuitive residents prefer personal and conceiving layouts. (T) Thinking residents prefer for attribute of space. (F) Feeling residents for familiar conversation. (J) Judging residents prefer systematic and complete layouts. (P) Perceiving residents prefer adaptable and flexible layouts. In conclusion, personality types can have a determining role in preference of residential furnishing layouts. This study suggests that residential designers should take into account clients' personality types prefer effective designing and should provide a variety of alternatives reflecting clients' preferences. This will promote clients' pleasantness and satisfaction in dwelling at home.

This study was to identify the relationship between personality type, college admission SAT scores and GPA scores of student nurses. Method: The data was collected from 270 student nurses enrolled in a baccaleaureate program in Seoul. MBTI was used to identify students' personality and SAT score and GPA score were collected over 4 years. The collected data was analyzed by using SPSS Win. package. Result: 1. There were slightly more extrovert (E) type (54.4%) students than the introvert (I) type; more sensing (S) type (71.1%) than the intuitive (N) type. 2. The introvert type students had significantly higher SAT scores than those of the extrovert type (p=.002). 3. The judging type students had significantly higher GPA scores throughout their college years than the perceiving type. 4. There was no statistically significant relationship between SAT and GPA scores. SAT scores did not accurately predict students' academic achievement in college in this sample. Conclusion: The distribution of the personality types in the sample was different from the general population which may suggest that college admission criteria is biased toward certain personality type. Since different personality types process information and cope with the outside world differently, effective teaching strategies need to be considered for each class.

The purpose of this study was to determine if personality types affect hair style and clothing image. Personality types was applied using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). Subjects were 101 students at Keimyung University in Daegu, Korea. Data analysis was performed using SPSS package, which included ANOVA, t-test and ${\chi}^2-test$. The results were summarized as follows. 1. There was only significant relationship between hair style and personality type. Sensing type preferred hair wave style than intuition type. 2. There were several significant differences between clothing image and personality type. Extroversion preferred avantgarde clothing image more than introversion type. Intuition type preferred exotic and avantgarde clothing image more than sensing type. Feeling type preferred active clothing image more than thinking type. Judging type preferred elegance clothing image more than perceiving type. 3. There was significant relationship between hair style and clothing image preference by personality types in college students. Intuition type preferred exotic and avantgarde clothing image and waveless hair style.

This study examined 1) student pilots' personality types, 2) the correlation between students' personality types and their achievement in flight training, 3) the correlation between students' personality types and Instructor Pilot(IP)s' personality type. The study used the Korean version of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) form. A total of 164 students in the year of 2000-2003 completed the inventory. The noticeable majority of student pilot were extroverted (59.6%) - Sensing (79.5%) - Thinking (70.2%) - Judgers (68.9%). Comparing personality types with flight achievement in showed no significant correlation. There was, however, a significant difference seen in comparing personality types with students' flight achievements. Thinking-type students showed higher flight achievements than feeling-type, and some of the personality types combination affects trainee's flight achievement. When both student and the Instructor have same attitude such as E-E or I-I, student's flight achievement was higher than when they have opposite attitude of personality. these findings implicate that the cooperation of students' and IP's personality could affect the students' flight achievement.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the personality type and the residential evaluation & remodeling preference. The collected cases are analyzed by using statistics software spss-win. The personality is classified eight types; E(extraversion), I(introversion), S(sensing), N(intuition), T(thinking), F(feeling), J(judging) and P(perceiving) in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator). By using the rotated component matrix of varimax method, the satisfaction of the actual residential conditions is classified into seven grouping factors. The preference of interior image is classified into thirteen factors. The important living patterns - activity, interest, and opinion - are classified into ten factors. And the important needs of residential remodeling are classified into twelve factors. By using the one way anova method, between these forty two grouping factors and personality type MBTI, there are analyzed several significances that will be useful in residential design and remodeling design & planning

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between personality type and GPA scores of the student majoring flight operation. The data were collected from 96 "H' University student. MBTI Test was selected and used to analyze student's personality type. The results from MBTI Test and GPA scores were analyze by SPSS 10.0 package. I found that E, S, T, J Type, SJ, ST Type, ESTJ, ISTJ Type student are dominated. There were no significant relationship between personality type and GPA scores. The effective teaching strategies have to be considered for each personality type for better education.

Recently, the scale of construction project is getting bigger compared to previous projects. Therefore, the job stress of the field manager responsible for the construction project is getting more and more intense. Therefore, construction companies should establish a job stress management plan for stable human resource management of the field managers. From this perspective, in this study was developed a job stress measurement system in connection with MBTI personality types. The developed system allows the job stress of the field manager to be judged on a scale from 1 to 9 points. Accordingly, it is expected that construction companies will contribute to the effective management of field managers in the future.

This study started from the curiasty that Sasang Constitution spirit of Lee ]e-ma has something to do with MBTI based on classification of character of C.G. Jung. This reports made from the information of 368 people who got the Sasang Constitution therapy and showed the good result in health in my hospital and they take part in self-report from of MBTI which are made as statistics and research in relationship between Sasang Constitution spitrit of Lee ]e-ma and classification of character of C.G. Jung This is the statistical result of the research. There is not exactly statistical result which support Sasang Constitution spirit of Lee Je-ma relate to the classification of character of C.G. Jung. The identification of statement of Sasang Constitution spirit with partispart is average 41 which is low while the identification of classification of character with partispart is average 76 which is high. In this reseult, It is hard to get general agreement that the statement of Sasang Constitution of spirit relate to the classification of character because of the difference of identification. so more studies are needed in this part.

This paper tried to research a field employee's character, its correlation to service attitude and its impact on service using MBTI characteristics functional indicators, working at airline customer service center. It is proved employees with Sensing Feeing(SF), Intuition Feeling(NF) and Intuition Thinking(NT) have showed lower satisfaction on their duty than employees with Sensing Thinking(ST) have. In analysis of MBTI characteristics' impact on organization-related characteristics, it is also found out employees with Sensing Feeing(SF) and Intuition Feeling(NF) have showed lower trust than employees with Sensing Thinking(ST) have. Considering other controled factors, this paper found that the more job satisfaction employees have, employees with 1 to 5 years of experience on their duty showed more significant service-focused attitude. Moreover, deputy directors or high-ranked people with the higher job satisfaction were seemed to be more service-oriented.
