A proposal of visualization method of MBTI personality types using celebrity images (유명인 이미지를 활용한 MBTI 성격 유형 시각화 방식 제안)

  • This paper proposes a visualization method that expresses users' MBTI personality types based on the categorization method called 'Big Five Personality Traits' and their representative celebrities' facial images. This system has significance for visualizing traits from texts to images effectively. The entire system is composed of making backgrounds to represent traits of each MBTI category using 'Big Five Personality Traits' and showing facial images of celebrities with corresponding MBTI personality types. First, 'Big Five Personality Traits' classifies 16 MBTI types into four categories and each of category traits lays the foundation to make background using visual elements such as colors and lines. Second, celebrities' facial images are substituted for the corresponding literal explanation of each MBTI type. By adjusting the color saturation, users can distinguish relationship between the types intuitively. As a result, this system enables users to take information for their own / opposite / similar MBTI types simultaneously.

Temperament by MBTI Personality Types, Learning Styles and Learning Strategies in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 MBTI 성격유형별 기질과 학습유형 및 학습전략)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate temperament by MBTI personality types, learning styles and learning strategies in nursing students. The subjects of this study were 245 nursing students. The data were collected structured questionnaire including MBTI test, 42-items of learning styles and 25-items of learning strategies. According to correspondence with their ideas, the subjects were completed self reported items of 1-6points scale. According to the results, the highest personality type in subjects was ESFJ and the highest personality temperament type was SJ. The study results showed that there were significant difference among surface type, depth-type and performance-type by analyzing learning styles to each personality temperament. Learning strategies by personality temperament also were significant difference in a demonstration, elaboration, organization, and higher cognition. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop and apply appropriate learning method and learning strategies for the individual.

  • This study examined the relation between MBTI personality types and job satisfaction, job satisfaction's effect on the customer orientation and willingness to change job and MBTI personality types's moderating effect on the relation among job satisfaction customer orientation, willingness to change job. Research results are as following. First, MBTI personality types didn't influence job satisfaction significantly. Second, job satisfaction affected customer orientation positively and willingness to change job negatively. Finally, MBTI personality type's moderating effect was analysed using Psychological Function and Attitude Index. Moderation effect of Psychological Function was significant only on the relation between job satisfaction and customer orientation. Moderation effect of Attitude Index was significant both on the relation between job satisfaction and customer orientation and the relation between job satisfaction and willingness to change job. These results of current study can be useful to recruit, organize, educate life planners based on the personality types of MBTI. And the applicability of MBTI test will increase by using these results.

  • In this research is The research on the Entrepreneurship's will according to college students's MBTI personality type and job'2 type through Definition and types of Entrepreneur, rely on the theoretical study of business, MBTI personality type, on the theoretical insights. The relationship between MBTI personality types and to the Entrepreneurship's will models for design verification, and regression analysis, the reliability was conducted. Research Results, Personality types of College students's in the Entrepreneurship's will to significant minus (-) effected. Personality type of I/E of the type of Entrepreneurship's will interest for the (+) of the impact and Attitude for success in business life (+) does not affect the said. Extrovert personality type, with two inbound students compared to students with the type of personality to the Entrepreneurship's will, that Interest for Entrepreneurship's on the side (+) can see the affects.

A Study on the Customized Services of University Libraries According to MBTI Personality Types of College Students (대학생의 MBTI 성격유형에 따른 대학도서관 맞춤형 서비스에 관한 연구)

  • This study intends to classify the users by the MBTI personality type and investigate and analyze information resources and services of library preferred by personality type. Towards this end, we have surveyed the K University students on their personality types and preferred resources and services, and also attempted to explore the possibility of providing customized information services of university libraries according to the MBTI personality type based on the results. As a result of the study, it turned out that there was a significant difference in the preference of digital contents type in the analysis of the data type preference and the quadrant type through the analysis of attitude index type from validating the difference between data / information source and service preference according to the MBTI type. The analysis of 16 types of personality also demonstrated a significant difference in the perception of digital contents. Accordingly, In order to provide services for data and digital contents suitable for personality types in university libraries, it should be preceded by collecting MBTI personality type data for users in the library. After that, when a user requests a reference information service from a library, or requests a book or information, it is necessary to provide a form-specific service or provide a content-specific service.

  • This study explores communication competence and satisfaction in interpersonal relationship according to MBTI personality patterns. Looking at the distribution of MBTI personality patterns among male cadets, number of ESTJ(16.7%) is the highest, For female cadets, the highest in number is ENFJ(16.7%). There is discrepancy in communication competence depends on personality patterns, in order to verify such disparity, LSD was applied as a post-verification. As a result, there was discrepancy in communication competence between E(extravert) and I(introvert), also in satisfaction in interpersonal relationship between E(extravert) and I(introvert). Correlation between communication competence and satisfaction in interpersonal relationship showed static relation(r=.604(p<.01). In conclusion, this study proves significant relation of communication competence and satisfaction in interpersonal relationship according to cadet's personality patterns statistically. Also this study is significant because it can indicate directions that needs to be taken for discipline of cadets.

금융소비자의 위험선호와 성격유형과의 관계에 관한 비교연구

  • 본 연구 목적은 MBTI에 의해 구분되는 인간의 성격유형에 따라 금융투자자들의 위험선호의 차이 유무, Private Banker의 투자 조언의 수용, 그리고 Private Bank Service의 사용의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 또한 MBTI의 성격유형별 주기능 사용의 차이에 기인한 개인의 특성이 위험선호에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 실험군인 고액자산가(HNWI)와 대조군인 학생의 MBTI 성격유형을 개별로 검사하고 Holt and Laury (2002)와 Weber et al. (2002)의 설문을 활용하는 실증적인 비교분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 첫째, Holt and Laury(2002)의 Lottery연구에서 고액자산가와 일반 대조군 그리고 MBTI의 주기능분류(ST, NF)에 따른 차이는 존재하였다. 특히 고액자산가의 경우 ST와 NF 그룹의 차이가 존재하는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, Weber et al.(2002)의 위험 감수를 측정하는 심리측정 요인 중 Gamble(g) Recreation(r)의 특성이 고액자산가에서 위험선호도에 미치는 영향이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 개인의 일상생활에 관련한 특성 또는 금융과 관련 없는 취미생활이 개인의 위험선호도에 반영될 수 있음을 나타내는 것으로 기존의 문헌들의 연구결과를 지지한다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, MBTI의 선호지표점수에 따라 위험선호도에 차이가 존재하였다. MBTI T점수가 높을 경우 위험선호도가 낮은 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 고액자산가그룹에는 영향이 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 넷째, MBTI 유형도표의 태도지표에 의해 구분된 유형들에 따라 전체 금융자산 대비 Private Banker를 이용하는 비율의 차이가 존재하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 고액자산가를 대상으로 분석한 결과 태도유형 EP의 경우 다른 그룹에 비해 이용비율수준이 낮아 MBTI로 분류된 성격유형에 따라 전체금융자산 대비 Private Banker의 이용수준에도 영향이 있음을 확인하였다.

  • The present study, college students was carried out to examine the MBTI personality types, Personality Types, how to cope with stress academic burnout Influence was studied. Study shows that personality type is closely related to the stress-coping strategy of personality type and Academic burnout. Among the strategies, problem-based way has a negative effect on EP and IJ personality types. On the other hand wishful-thinking and emotional-focused way have a positive effect on EP type. Thus, the therapist need to induce stressed client to deal with stress through positive imagination or prayer in stable condition.

  • 본 논문은 소셜 네트워크 이용자의 텍스트 데이터를 대상으로, 트랜스포머 계열의 언어모델을 전이학습해 이용자의 MBTI 성격 유형을 분류한 국내 첫 연구이다. Kaggle MBTI Dataset을 대상으로 RoBERTa Distill, DeBERTa-V3 등의 사전 학습모델로 전이학습을 해, MBTI E/I, N/S, T/F, J/P 네 유형에 대한 분류의 평균 정확도는 87.9181, 평균 F-1 Score는 87.58를 도출했다. 해외 연구의 State-of-the-art보다 네 유형에 대한 F1-Score 표준편차를 50.1% 낮춰, 유형별 더 고른 분류 성과를 보였다. 또, Twitter, Reddit과 같은 글로벌 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 텍스트 데이터를 추가로 분류, 트랜스포머 기반의 MBTI 분류 방법론을 확장했다.

Experimental Validation of Butler's MBTI-based Gamification Framework (버틀러의 MBTI기반 게이미피케이션 프레임워크에 대한 실험적 검증)

  • Various tools and studies improving quality of gamification systems have been suggested. Among those tools and studies, Butler suggested the gamification framework, which shows the preference of different game mechanics, applying particular motivational and behavioral tendencies in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). The purpose of this paper is to validate if the preference of different game mechanics by MBTI personality types proposed by Butler would be existing. This study pointed out the problem of suggested gamification framework from butler through literature survey. Also, this study conducted statistical analyzation and survey to prove correlation between MBTI personality types and game mechanics. Through an experiment and analysis, this study proved that there is no correlation between MBTI personality types and preference of different game mechanics. The designer of gamification systems should consider that it is not effective to apply differential game mechanics by MBTI personality types. If need to design a gamification system, designer must consider game mechanics's characteristics in applied environmental condition.
