  • In this paper, the maximum likelihood estimators and confidence intervals for parameters of Weibull distribution are derived under three level constant stress accelerated life tests and the assumption that a log quadratic relationship exits between stress and the scale parameter ${\theta}$. The compound linear plan proposed by Kim (2006) is used to allocate the test units at each stress level, which performed nearly as good as the optimum quadratic plan and had the advantage of simplicity. Some simulation studies are given.

  • We investigate the averaging value of a random sampling ${\zeta}(1/2+iX_t)$ of the Riemann zeta function on the critical line. Our result is that if $X_t$ is an increasing random sampling with Poisson distribution, then $${\mathbb{E}}{\zeta}(1/2+iX_t)=O({\sqrt{\;log\;t}}$$, for all sufficiently large t in ${\mathbb{R}}$.

  • In this paper, we propose some estimators for the extreme value distribution based on the interval method and mid-point approximation method from the progressive Type-I interval censored sample. Because log-likelihood function is a non-linear function, we use a Taylor series expansion to derive approximate likelihood equations. We compare the proposed estimators in terms of the mean squared error by using the Monte Carlo simulation.

  • In this paper, a CLPDA (Crossed Log-Periodic Dipole Antenna) for EMI / EMC Measurement is presented, and is analyzed by Combining the moment method and the transmission line theory. The CLPDA has a broaddband characteristic. It is so important to achieve a impedance matching over op- erating frequency range that Twin-boom method is used at feed point. Here, the current distribution, input admittance, radiation pattern and gain are calculated. In practice CLPDA is fabricated. Calculated result for radiation pattern and gain are very closed to measured result.

  • The LP(Log-periodic) type antenna composed of the cross fed and parasitic loop elements has been proposed for a high gain and broadband characteristics. This antenna has been analyzed by using moment method, and current distribution, input impedence, power gain, and radiation patterns has been calculated and compared with LPDA. It was found to have high gain, broadband characteristics, and similiar patterns for E and H plane against LPDA.

  • In this study, software products developed in the course of testing, software managers in the process of testing software test and test tools for effective learning effects perspective has been studied using the NHPP software. The finite failure nonhomogeneous Poisson process models presented and the life distribution applied exponential and log shaped type hazard function. Software error detection techniques known in advance, but influencing factors for considering the errors found automatically and learning factors, by prior experience, to find precisely the error factor setting up the testing manager are presented comparing the problem. As a result, the learning factor is greater than autonomous errors-detected factor that is generally efficient model could be confirmed. This paper, a failure data analysis of applying using time between failures and parameter estimation using maximum likelihood estimation method, after the efficiency of the data through trend analysis model selection were efficient using the mean square error and coefficient of determination.

  • This paper introduces a channel model that is a combination of Rice and log-normal statistics, with independent shadowing affectingeach direct and diffuse component, repectively. This model extends the channel model of a combined Rice and Log-normal, proposed by Corazza, to include the independent shadowing. The validity of model is confirmed by comparisons with the data collectedin the literature, the analytical model, and the computer model in terms of probability distribution of the evvelope of each model. The model turns out to be one of many well-known narrowband models in limiting cases, e.g. Rayleigh, Rice, log-normal, Suzuki, Loo, and Corazza. Finally, the examples of bit error probability evaluations for several values of the elevation angle in the channel are provided.

  • This paper deals with the problem of testing on the equality of the scale parameters in the log-logistic distributions. We propose default Bayesian testing procedures for the scale parameters under the reference priors. The reference prior is usually improper which yields a calibration problem that makes the Bayes factor to be defined up to a multiplicative constant. Therefore, we propose the default Bayesian testing procedures based on the fractional Bayes factor and the intrinsic Bayes factor under the reference priors. To justify proposed procedures, a simulation study is provided and also, an example is given.
