The purpose of this study was to present an alternative to improve the complex structure of Gyeonggi port governance. Based on previous research, advanced port operation, timely development of port, port safety management, and growth with the region were selected as the main roles of port governance. In addition, the importance of each role was analyzed by selecting the government-led port authority and government and local joint port authority as alternatives. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the establishment of the government-led port authority was reasonable in terms of advanced port operation, timely port development, and port safety management. On the other hand, local joint port authority is reasonable in terms of growth with the region. The implication of this study is that it is necessary to simplify port governance in Gyeonggi Privince and establish the government-led port authority in which Participation of local governments is required for linking regional administration and urban development plans.
The purpose of this research is to strengthen rural community empowerment by creating a tourism farm as a plan to reduce relative poverty and to improve the quality of life by creating jobs and increasing the income of local residents in underdeveloped countries. To do so, literature review, stakeholder interviews, on-site investigations, focus-group interviews, a project meeting for residents and a questionnaire survey were performed and analyzed and the results were as follows. First, Uganda has the potential to increase agricultural production based on its warm climate, fertile land and abundant natural resources. The quality of life of local residents is expected to be improved by realizing high-added values through the convergence of the conventional existing agricultural industry and other industries if the agricultural technology is properly transferred based on abundant labor force and low labor expenses. Opportunities for the success of the project can be spread to other rural villages across the country. Second, since local residents are now cultivating sugar cane, cassava, matoke, banana, coffee and so on as a farm owner, tourism agriculture with high-added values can be promoted by vitalizing communities based on farming technology to be transferred and a cooperative farm. It is also necessary to implement a rural community empowerment project to do so. Third, the university that is the cooperative partner of the project is positively considering to train experts by establishing a community development department, and, if necessary, a technical training center to educate the general public, which is expected to create synergic effects through the convergence of education, agriculture and tourism.

In Korea, a variety of policies for the regional cultural industry development have been carried out: the promotion policy of cultural industry cluster, the establishment of cultural industry support center, and the construction of cultural industry complex and the supporting works for the cultural research center. The cultural industry has a dual character of the manufacturing industry and the service industry. The cultural industry of Gyeongbuk province is mostly centered upon small manufacturing firms with low value-added. Thus, it is desperately in need of the building-up of the enterprise supporting system. However, it is difficult to expect that private business service finns can be activated. In this sense, local and regional governments seek to establish so called 'the cultural contents support center'. However, it is not clear whether the center is an organization for the production of cultural contents or an agency for the support of cultural contents industry. Also it does not prepare any major functional introduction facilities and performing programs. Most of all, it is necessary to establish a proper orientation that 'the cultural contents support center' must be not an organization for the direct production of cultural contents, but an organization supporting cultural industry by way of providing cultural industry enterprises with what is necessary for the production of cultural contents. Also, a system for the establishment of business fitting support policy that can cover the whole sectors of cultural industry must be prepared. Furthermore, a synthetic support system for the cultural business associated industries centered on specified sectors such as films, edutainment, and storytelling must be constructed. Finally an environment for the creation and inducement of cultural industry enterprises, and for the active participation of enterprises and related groups in the promotion planning and in the policies of cultural industry must be built along with on- and off-line networks.

As the interests increased in recent about the construction in complex and diverse areas, construction is locally connected to human life like to coexistence of the technology and culture. The local development should not be fragmentary construction to improve local recycling ability. Local society should be inherited by modern cultural perspective through a variety of local culture and coexistence. Effective decision making analysis is necessary to build a livable area with a combination of high-tech industry. For this reason, this paper will study the political analysis for decision making at the planning stage of construction in point of fusion of technology and culture by using unstructured data analysis. Conclusion is as in the following. Local planning stage of construction describes diverse meanings of intangible and intangible factors as political factor. Technology factors have various qualitative and quantitative factors in construction field. Understanding decision making at the planning stage of construction means not only visible 'technology factor' such as structure, method, shape, and so on, but also invisible 'culture factor' such as spirit of age, religion, learning, and life-style reflected in formation process of space, and insight of brain power about art.
Along with a general growth in living standards there has been a corresponding increase in the demand for tourism. Cruise based tourism, in particular, has become one of the most dynamic and dramatic growth sectors in the tourism industry over the last 20 years, including in the Northeast Asian region. In line with the growth of passenger numbers, the number of cruise ships and their berth capacities has increased significantly since the late 1970s. Korea, as a peninsular nation, has also experienced a rapid growth in cruise passenger numbers. The national economy has greatly benefited from this as the industry acts as an income generator, creating new jobs and potential investments and in developing local tourism. Ports play an important role in the development of any national cruise industry, providing not only ship berths but supply and bunkering facilities and a gateway to local tourism opportunities. The selection of the optimal cruise port location is an important and complex problem because the decision makers have to consider a large number of criteria which have a significant effect on the economy, environment, human life, and society. This paper investigates those criteria that are significant in developing a successful cruise port by employing a questionnaire survey of major cruise port users - shipping companies and tourism companies. The ports, surveyed in this study are Busan, Incheon, Yeosu and Jeju. All have been identified as important potential cruise ports in the Korean Government's 'The 3rd Port Basic Plan (2011-2020)'.

Wonju Medical Equipment Industry, despite of its short history, poor sales and weak manpower and so on, have shown remarkable outcomes in a relatively short period. At the end of 2007, totally 79 enterprises (only 4.6% of whole enterprises in Korea) made 10% of the nationwide production and 15% of the nationwide exports with an annual average growth rate of 66.7%, contributing domestic medical equipment industry tremendously. In addition, many leading medical equipment enterprises in various fields already moved or plan to move to Wonju, accelerating Wonju Medical Equipment Cluster. Wonju Medical Equipment Industry Cluster now enters into the growth stage, getting out of the initial business setup stage. Especially, the nomination of Wonju cluster project from the government accelerates networking (e.g. the development of the universal parts, the establishment of the mutual collaboration model among enterprises, and the mutual marketing), making a rapid growth in Wonju Medical Equipment Industry. Wonju Medical Equipment Industry Cluster revealed positive outcomes despite of the weakness in investment size and infra-structure comparing with the other medical industry cluster in the advanced country, while many domestic enterprises pursued their own growth models and thus failed to promote the international competitive power. Wonju Medical Equipment Industry has been developed rapidly. However, there are many challenging problems to support enterprises: small R&D investment and thus weak technology power, difficulties in recruiting R&D engineers, and poor marketing capabilities, financial infrastructure & policies, and network architecture. In order to develop a world-competitive medical equipment industry cluster at Wonju, the complement of infrastructures, the technology innovation, the mutual marketing, and the network expansion to support enterprises are further required. Wonju' s experiences in developing medical equipment industry so far suggest that our own flexible cluster model considering the industry structure and maturity for different regions should be developed, and specific action plans from the local and central governments based on their systematic strategies for industry development should be implemented in order to build world-competitive industry clusters in Korea.
Fans' role and influence is becoming more extensive in these days' complex and competitive sports market. This research considers fans as internal members of sports team, employee and confirms active and voluntary fan citizenship behavior's effects on team, community, and social exchange among community residents, so that an enterprise can increase accessibility from many-sided perspectives when establishing sports marketing strategy in the future. The concept of fan citizenship behavior is set up considering characteristic of sports industry based on employee's organizational citizenship behavior discussed from the internal marketing and organization theory and preliminary studies about client citizenship behavior mentioned from service industry area. Although the sixteen research hypothesis are not fully supported. The results are summarized as follows. These findings give theoretical and marketing implication to future researcher and marketer. First, fan's positive aspect is confirmed which is different from general consumer by examining fan citizenship behavior's effect on teal value in the sports industry. Second, it was confirmed that the team needs marketing strategies about not only relationship between each individual fan, but also interaction between fans in the future. Third, it was confirmed that direct fan's behavior as well as individual fan's cognitive area have effects on team's and social value.
As competition in domestic and overseas ports intensify, new and small domestic ports are realizing certain limitations to independently secure competitiveness. This study collected data over 60 months with five modifications for container and general cargo volume around Gyeongin Port. Short-period (12 months) cargo volume was forecasted, which revealed the need for a middle-to-long-term development plan. First, the hinterland logistics complex of Gyeongin Port is expected to contribute to the coastal maritime facility through the quasi-public system for fishery product transportation and passenger services. It proposes to achieve this by opening channels to and from China for precision machinery, home network systems, LEDs, and machine industry items. second, specializing the ultra-light cargo transport route, and connecting the coastal island areas of the 5 West Sea Islands to Ara Waterway (Integrated Fishery Product Center of the 5 West Sea Islands). Third, on the basis of organic cooperation of government? local government ? port, the incentive and pre-circular support system would be required, and lastly, it shall carry out the adjustment of functions in nearby ports and specialization strategy simultaneously through the integrated operation of the ports in the capital areas.

With the current trend in the industry toward increasingly complex, diversified and large construction projects, advanced countries in the construction field have already introduced and applied a variety of methods for placing orders in order to cope with such changes in construction circumstances. In Korea, there have been efforts to continuously improve approaches to placing an order. With the aim of diversifying the methods of Delivery Systems, the "Technical Proposal Type Bid," and the "Design Competition and Technical Proposal Type Bid" were introduced through a revision of Korea's contract law enforcement ordinance. In line with the government's efforts, criteria for a method of placing an order that is suitable for a public construction project should be presented. This study enumerates the current issues using a survey for construction projects already placed and an analysis of the current status, and presents the selection criteria for Delivery Systems by business type as an improvement for the problem.
