Xu Ling Tai (徐靈胎) was an outstanding medical practitioner in the early and middle part of the Cheong Dynasty of China (淸代). He had learned the study of Confucian classics and natural science from his childhood and read through books covering all sorts of fields, from medical science to hydraulics and literature. He was, in particular, one of leaders who represented the school of classicism that followed scriptures (尊經復古主義學派) in the field of medical science and his solid abstraction has had an affect on posterity's one. One of his masterpieces is Yi Xue Yuan Liu Lun (醫學源流論) among his books in the medical area.

Let K be a nonempty convex subset of an arbitrary Banach space X and $T\;:\;K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$ be a uniformly continuous strictly hemi-contractive operator with bounded range. We prove that certain Ishikawa iteration scheme with errors both converges strongly to a unique fixed point of T and is almost T-stable on K. We also establish similar convergence and almost stability results for strictly hemi-contractive operator $T\;:\;K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$, where K is a nonempty convex subset of arbitrary uniformly smooth Banach space X. The convergence results presented in this paper extend, improve and unify the corresponding results in Chang [1], Chang, Cho, Lee & Kang [2], Chidume [3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8], Chidume & Osilike [9, 10, 11, 12], Liu [19], Schu [25], Tan & Xu [26], Xu [28], Zhou [29], Zhou & Jia [30] and others.

The purpose of this paper is to prove strong convergence theorems for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a weak relatively nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse-strongly-monotone mapping by a new hybrid method in a Banach space. We shall give an example which is weak relatively nonexpansive mapping but not relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach space $l^2$. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced by Ying Liu[Ying Liu, Strong convergence theorem for relatively nonexpansive mapping and inverse-strongly-monotone mapping in a Banach space, Appl. Math. Mech. -Engl. Ed. 30(7)(2009), 925-932] and some others.

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of generalized nonlinear variational-like inequalities. By employing the auxiliary principle technique we suggest an iterative algorithm to compute approximate solutions of the generalized nonlinear variational-like inequalities. We discuss the convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithm in Banach spaces and prove the existence of solutions and convergence of the algorithm for the generalized nonlinear variational-like inequalities in Hilbert spaces, respectively. Our results extend, improve and unify several known results due to Ding, Liu et al, and Zeng, and others.

H²RDC (heuristic handover based on RCC-DTSK-C), a heuristic algorithm based on a highly interpretable deep Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy classifier, is proposed for suppressing the mobile heterogeneous networks problem of frequent handover and handover ping-pong in the multibase-station scenario. This classifier uses a stack structure between subsystems to form a deep classifier before generating a base station (BS) priority sequence during the handover process, and adaptive handover hysteresis is calculated. Simulation results show that H²RDC allows user equipment to switch to the best antenna at the optimal time. In high-BS density load and mobility scenarios, the proposed algorithm's handover success rate is similar to those of classic algorithms such as best connection (BC), self tuning handover algorithm (STHA), and heuristic for handover based on AHP-TOPSIS-FUZZY (H²ATF). Moreover, the handover rate is 83% lower under H²RDC than under BC, whereas the handover ping-pong rate is 76% lower.

The conditional moment closure formulation considering the molecular and turbulent diffusion is derived. A simplified solution procedure is proposed to reduce the computational burden due to the increased dimensionality of the conditionally averaged variables. A conditionally averaged variable is expressed as a linear weighted average of the two extremes, 'no reaction' and 'equilibrium' states. The modified elliptic-type conditional moment closure formulation is implemented to simulate a two dimensional nonpremixed mixing layer reacting flow. Results show good agreement for the conditional averages of the species concentration in Bilger et al.

In this paper we formulate and solve a generalized $H^{\infty}$ control problem. The conventional formulation of $H^{\infty}$ problem has some constraints in application, e.g. it can not deal with the servo problem. This is due to the superfluous requirement of internal stability of the augmented system. In this paper, we alleviate the stability of the augmented system to admit pole-zero cancellation on the imaginary aids outside the feedback loop of G22 and K. After such generalization, the servo problem is naturally incorporated into the $H^{\infty}$ synthesis.is.

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of the generalized set-valued mixed variational inequalities. Using the resolvent operator technique, we construct a new iterative algorithm for solving this class of the generalized set-valued mixed variational inequalities. We prove the existence of solutions for the generalized set-valued mixed variational inequalities and the convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithm.
