  • The purposes of this paper are to revise the definitions of Ishikawa and Mann type iterative processes with errors, to study the unique solution of the m-accretive operator equation x+Tx=f and the convergence problem of Ishikawa and Mann type iterative processes with errors for m-accretive mappings without the Lipschitz condition. The results presented in this paper improve, extend, and unify the corresponding results in [4, 7, 8, 12, 16] in more general setting.

  • In this paper, we investigate necessary and sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability for semilinear stochastic functional differential equations with delays in Hilbert spaces without the strict range condition on the controller even though the equations contain unbounded principal operators, delay terms and local Lipschitz continuity of the nonlinear term.

  • In this paper, a delay-dependent $H_{\infty}$ filtering problem is investigated for discrete-time delayed nonlinear systems which include a more general sector nonlinear function instead of employing the commonly used Lipschitz-type function. By using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach, a less conservative sufficient condition is established for the existence of the desired filter, and then, the corresponding solvability condition guarantee the stability of the filter with a prescribed $H_{\infty}$ performance level. Finally, two simulation examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed filtering scheme.

  • In this paper, we consider a problem of asymptotic output regulation of a class of uncertain nonlinear systems by output feedback. The system under consideration is in the Parametric-Pure-Feedback Form, which does not satisfy the existing conditions such as the triangularity condition or the Lipschitz condition. We propose a linear output feedback controller with a scaling factor, which asymptotically regulates the output of the considered system.

  • In this paper, we give an estimate on the difference between $x^n(t)$ and x(t) and it clearly shows that one can use the Picard iteration procedure to the approximate solutions to stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay at phase space BC(($-{\infty}$, 0] : $R^d$) which denotes the family of bounded continuous $R^d$-valued functions ${\varphi}$ defined on ($-{\infty}$, 0] with norm ${\parallel}{\varphi}{\parallel}={\sup}_{-{\infty}<{\theta}{\leq}0}{\mid}{\varphi}({\theta}){\mid}$ under non-Lipschitz condition being considered as a special case and a weakened linear growth condition.

  • In this paper we study the numerical solutions of the stochastic functional differential equations of the following form $$du(x,\;t)\;=\;f(x,\;t,\;u_t)dt\;+\;g(x,\;t,\;u_t)dB(t),\;t\;>\;0$$ with initial data $u(x,\;0)\;=\;u_0(x)\;=\;{\xi}\;{\in}\;L^p_{F_0}\;([-{\tau},0];\;R^n)$. Here $x\;{\in}\;R^n$, ($R^n$ is the ${\nu}\;-\;dimenional$ Euclidean space), $f\;:\;C([-{\tau},\;0];\;R^n)\;{\times}\;R^{{\nu}+1}\;{\rightarrow}\;R^n,\;g\;:\;C([-{\tau},\;0];\;R^n)\;{\times}\;R^{{\nu}+1}\;{\rightarrow}\;R^{n{\times}m},\;u(x,\;t)\;{\in}\;R^n$ for each $t,\;u_t\;=\;u(x,\;t\;+\;{\theta})\;:\;-{\tau}\;{\leq}\;{\theta}\;{\leq}\;0\;{\in}\;C([-{\tau},\;0];\;R^n)$, and B(t) is an m-dimensional Brownian motion.

  • We present a new theorem for the semilocal convergence of Newton's method to a locally unique solution of an equation in a Banach space setting. Under a gamma-type condition we show that we can extend the applicability of Newton's method given in [12]. We also provide a comparative study between results using the classical Newton-Kantorovich conditions ([6], [7], [10]), and the ones using the gamma-type conditions ([12], [13]). Numerical examples are also provided.

  • The semilocal convergence of a third order iterative method used for solving nonlinear operator equations in Banach spaces is established by using recurrence relations under the assumption that the second Fr´echet derivative of the involved operator satisfies the ${\omega}$-continuity condition given by $||F^{\prime\prime}(x)-F^{\prime\prime}(y)||{\leq}{\omega}(||x-y||)$, $x,y{\in}{\Omega}$, where, ${\omega}(x)$ is a nondecreasing continuous real function for x > 0, such that ${\omega}(0){\geq}0$. This condition is milder than the usual Lipschitz/H$\ddot{o}$lder continuity condition on $F^{\prime\prime}$. A family of recurrence relations based on two constants depending on the involved operator is derived. An existence-uniqueness theorem is established to show that the R-order convergence of the method is (2+$p$), where $p{\in}(0,1]$. A priori error bounds for the method are also derived. Two numerical examples are worked out to demonstrate the efficacy of our approach and comparisons are elucidated with a known result.

  • In this paper, we study multi-step iterative algorithm with errors and give the necessary and sufficient condition to converge to com mon fixed points for a finite family of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings in Banach spaces. Also we have proved a strong convergence theorem to converge to common fixed points for a finite family said mappings on a nonempty compact convex subset of a uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results extend and improve the corresponding results of [2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 20].

  • This paper is concerned with fuzzy number whose values are normal, convex, upper semicontinuous and compactly supported interval in E$\_$N/ We study continuously initial observability for the following fuzzy system. x(t)=a(t)x(t)+f(t,x(t)), x(0)=x$\_$0/, y(t)=$\_$${\alpha}$/∏(x(t)), where a: [0, T]\longrightarrowE$\_$N/ is fuzzy coefficient, initial value x$\_$0/$\in$E$\_$N/ and nonlinear funtion f: [0, T]${\times}$E$\_$N/\longrightarrowE$\_$N/ satisfies a Lipschitz condition. Given fuzzy mapping ∏: C([0, T]: E$\_$N/)\longrightarrowY and Y is an another E$\_$N/.
