  • Let $f=h+{\bar{g}}$ be a normalized harmonic mapping in the unit disk $\mathbb{D}$. In this paper, we obtain the sharp radius of univalence, fully starlikeness and fully convexity of the harmonic linear differential operators $D^{\epsilon}{_f}=zf_z-{\epsilon}{\bar{z}}f_{\bar{z}}({\mid}{\epsilon}{\mid}=1)$ and $F_{\lambda}(z)=(1-{\lambda)f+{\lambda}D^{\epsilon}{_f}(0{\leq}{\lambda}{\leq}1)$ when the coefficients of h and g satisfy harmonic Bieberbach coefficients conjecture conditions. Similar problems are also solved when the coefficients of h and g satisfy the corresponding necessary conditions of the harmonic convex function $f=h+{\bar{g}}$. All results are sharp. Some of the results are motivated by the work of Kalaj et al. [8].

  • A study has been made for the investigation of the robustness and convergence of various implicit operators of the LU-SGS scheme using linear stability analysis. It is shown that the behavior of the implicit operator is not determined by its own characteristics, but is determined relatively depending on the dissipative property of the explicit operator. It is also shown that, as the dissipation level of the implicit operator increases, the robustness of the scheme increases, but the convergence rate can be deteriorated due to the excessive dissipation. The numerical results demonstrate that the dissipation level of the impliict operator needs to be higher than that of the explicit operator for computing stiff problems.

  • This paper presents intelligent digital redesign method of global approach for hybrid state space fuzzy-model-based controllers. For effectiveness and stabilization of continuous-time uncertain nonlinear systems under discrete-time controller, Takagi-Sugeno(TS) fuzzy model is used to represent the complex system. And global approach design problems viewed as a convex optimization problem that we minimize the error of the norm bounds between nonlinearly interpolated lineal operators to be matched. Also, by using the bilinear and inverse bilinear approximation method, we analyzed nonlinear system's uncertain parts more precisely. When a sampling period is sufficiently small, the conversion of a continuous-time structured uncertain nonlinear system to an equivalent discrete-time system have proper reason. Sufficiently conditions for the global state-matching of the digitally controlled system are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a T-S fuzzy model for the chaotic Lorentz system is used as an example to guarantee the stability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • Let ${\mathcal{H}}$ be an infinite dimensional separable Hilbert space with a fixed orthonormal base $\{e_1,e_2,{\cdots}\}$. Let L be the subspace lattice generated by the subspaces $\{[e_1],[e_1,e_2],[e_1,e_2,e_3],{\cdots}\}$ and let $Alg{\mathcal{L}}$ be the algebra of bounded operators which leave invariant all projections in ${\mathcal{L}}$. Let p and q be natural numbers (p < q). Let ${\mathcal{A}}$ be a linear manifold in $Alg{\mathcal{L}}$ such that $T_{(p,q)}=0$ for all T in ${\mathcal{A}}$. • A two-dimensional static biochemical model of lower extremity in the seated posture was developed to assess muscular activities of lower extremity required for a variety of foot pedal operations. We found that the double linear optimization method that has been used for modelling articulated body segments does no predict the forces generated by biarticular muscles reasonably, so the revised double linear optimization scheme was used to consider the synergistic effects of biarticular muscles in our model, assuming that the muscle forces are distributed proportionally based on their physiological cross sectional area. The model incorporated three rigid body se- gments with six muscles to represnet lower extremity. For the model validation, three male subjects performed the experiments in which EMG activities of six lower extremity muscles were measured. Predicted muscle forces were compare with the corresponding EMG amplitudes and it showed no statistical difference. The model being developed can be used to design and assess pedal and foot-related tool design.

  • For a nonautonomous dynamics defined by a sequence of bounded linear operators on a Banach space, we give a characterization of the existence of an exponential dichotomy with respect to a sequence of norms in terms of the invertibility of a certain linear operator between general admissible spaces. This notion of an exponential dichotomy contains as very special cases the notions of uniform, nonuniform and tempered exponential dichotomies. As applications, we detail the consequences of our results for the class of tempered exponential dichotomies, which are ubiquitous in the context of ergodic theory, and we show that the notion of an exponential dichotomy under sufficiently small parameterized perturbations persists and that their stable and unstable spaces are as regular as the perturbation.

  • We characterize the linear operators which preserve the factor rank of integer matrices. That is, if $\mathcal{M}$ is the set of all $m{\times}n$ matrices with entries in the integers and min($m,n$) > 1, then a linear operator T on $\mathcal{M}$ preserves the factor rank of all matrices in $\mathcal{M}$ if and only if T has the form either T(X) = UXV for all $X{\in}\mathcal{M}$, or $m=n$ and T(X)=$UX^tV$ for all $X{\in}\mathcal{M}$, where U and V are suitable nonsingular integer matrices. Other characterizations of factor rank-preservers of integer matrices are also given.

  • In this paper, we proposed a hardware-oriented Genetic Algorithm Processor(GAP) based on subpopulation architecture for high-performance convergence and reducing computation time. The proposed architecture was applied to enhancing population diversity for correspondence to premature convergence. In addition, the crossover operator selection and linear ranking subpop selection were newly employed for efficient exploration. As stochastic search space selection through linear ranking and suitable genetic operator selection with respect to the convergence state of each subpopulation was used, the elapsed time of searching optimal solution was shortened. In the experiments, the computation speed was increased by over $10\%$ compared to survival-based GA and Modified-tournament GA. Especially, increased by over $20\%$ in the multi-modal function. The proposed Subpop GA processor was implemented on FPGA device APEX EP20K600EBC652-3 of AGENT 2000 design kit.
