The purpose of this study is to investigate the teaching methods a n.0, pplied to the basic reference education. Especially, the independent study method in reference education-PSI, AT and PI method used in 1970s at the library schools in the United States was examined in detail. The conclusions and suggestions drawn from this study are as follows : 1) The studies concerned with the teaching method in library and information science education in Korea is very scarce. Studies in this area are needed. 2) In order to improve and innovate the teaching method, instructor' knowledge and understanding of the various teaching methods are essential. The library and information science instructors' efforts should be made in this respect. 3) Instructional materials developed through the research activities concerned with teaching method should be shared among the instructors of the reference education and the device for such sharing should be made.

본 논문은 구성주의 학습기법과 학교도서관의 관계를 규명하여 학교도서관이 구성주의 학습기법에서 어떠한 역할을 할 수 있고 나아가서 학교교육에 어떻게 기여 할 수 있는가를 연구하였다. 이러한 결과를 도출하기 위하여 현대 지식정보사회에서의 구성주의와 구성주의 학습기법의 발달과정, 개념, 특성 등을 살펴보았다. 학교 도서관에서는 특히 사서교사의 information literacy교육의 개념과 그 중요성을 파악하고 이를 통하여 구성주의 학습기법이 효과적으로 수행 될 수 있음을 주장하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 학교 독서교육의 활성화 방안을 모색하기 위함이다. 연구 대상은 경남지역의 학교도서관을 생각하는사람들의모임(이하 학생사모)의 독서교육 연구 실천 활동이며, 연구방법은 사례연구이다. 이를 위한 데이터 수집은 학생사모 회원을 대상으로 반구조화된 설문지를 통한 인터뷰, 관련 문서, 홈페이지자료 등을 활용하였다. 학생사모의 활동을 분석한 결과 학생사모가 이룬 학교 독서교육의 성과와 전망을 밝혔다. 향후 학교 독서교육 활성화 방안으로 학교 독서교육은 반드시 학교도서관과 연계되어야 하며, 학교 내 외의 조직과 연대와 협력의 필요성을 제시하였다.

이 연구는 도서관 견학의 선행연구를 바탕으로 교육적 특성들을 추출하고 이를 교육학적 근거나 이론들에 기반하여 도서관 견학을 재해석함으로써 도서관 견학의 교육학적 토대를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 도서관 견학의 교육적 특성으로 경험, 매체, 설명, 해석, 상호작용 등이 도출되었으며 이와 같은 교육적 특성들과 관련이 깊은 교육 이론이나 근거를 중심으로 교육학적 토대를 모색하였다. 도서관 교육방법으로서 도서관 견학의 교육학적 토대로 Dewey의 경험이론, Dale과 Dwyer등의 매체이론, Bruner의 설명하기와 해석하기 그리고 마음이해하기에 대한 앎의 방식이론을 제시하였다. 이 연구가 교육사서로 하여금 교육학적 토대위에서 효과적인 면대면 및 가상공간에서의 도서관 견학프로그램을 계획하고 개발하여 실행하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

이 연구는 학교도서관교육과정이 정상적으로 운영되고 학교도서관이 교육성과를 산출할 수 있도록 하기위한 현안과 과제를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 학교도서관교육과 관련된 법과 주요 정책을 살펴보고 학교도서관교육의 행태와 성과에 관한 선행 연구를 분석하였다. 그 결과로 인적자원의 전문성 향상, 교육과정 개선, 장학 및 지원체계 정비, 관련법 개정을 정책적 과제로 설정하고 추진방향과 개선안을 제안하였다.

This study is undertaken to present the facilitation plan of English library that specialized the resource-based learning to provide learning that is suited for student's own learning style and self-leading learning as the method to learn contents required for individuals as a method for improving the English education environment in the rural areas. For this purpose, a study was conducted to find out the possibility of facilitating English library in the rural areas on the basis of consulting for structuring and operating English library in public libraries located in isolated areas clustered with low income class in the urban areas where the conditions are similar to the rural areas and results are shown as the followings. First, it displayed the possibility to have the rural area located with many closed schools or small-sized schools to facilitate the available facilities to build up the environment to specialize in English education that would be as comparable as any facilities in any urban setting. Second, it would enable the conditions to moderate the conflict on education environment for local residents who felt inequality in education by providing the benefit for fine education linked to public education through English library without going through private education. And third, English library that has the limitations in locality or economic means would actively participate by local educational institutions and volunteers to enhance the sense of master for the local residents and bring residents together to make positive impact on local economy facilitation.

The purpose of this article is to examine types and construction method of multimedia materials for the Korean language education, finally in order to construct digital library on Nuri-Sejonghakdang. Firstly, this article reviews some major concepts such as teaching material, multimedia, learning object, meta-data, reusability, etc. Secondly, various multimedia materials are divided into three types(namely, example material, explanation material, training and evaluating material) according to their characteristics as a learning objects. And then, this article tries to propose the classification-search system and meta-data elements for effective search and use of multimedia materials. Finally, this article is concluded by presenting the long-term plan of digital library construction on Nuri-Sejonghakdang and some follow-up task of this study.

2000년 이후 공공도서관에 어린이서비스 시설의 확충과 담당인력이 배치되고 있으며 어린이 전용도서관이 증설되고 있다. 이 연구는 어린이 도서관 이용교육의 일환으로써 어린이들의 흥미와 관심을 불러일으키는 스토리를 소재로 한 도서관 이용교육의 수업모형을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 먼저, 어린이 도서관 이용교육 상황, 스토리텔링의 개념과 원리를 살펴보고, 스토리텔링기법이 도서관 이용교육에 적용될 수 있는가를 모색하였다. 이를 기반으로 국내 공공도서관의 어린이자료실, 그리고 어린이 전용도서관의 이용자들을 대상으로 스토리텔링기법을 적용한 도서관 이용교육의 수업모형을 개발하였으며 이 모형이 어린이도서관 현장에서 어린이들의 도서관 이용과 정보 활용, 그리고 독서흥미 유발에 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

본 논문은 현대사회의 이상적 교육방법으로 구성주의 교수-학습이론의 의의와 특징을 밝히고 구성주의 교육방법과 교육환경이 학교도서관에 어떻게 관련을 가지는지 논하였다. 또한 구성주의 교육방법과 관련하여 우리나라 학교도서관이 개선되어야 할 점을 제시함으로서 학교교육의 문제해결에 학교도서관이 기여하는 바를 논하였다.

공공도서관에서 초등학교 학생을 대상으로 하는 정보활용교육이 실시되고 있는 현황에 대해 분석하고 공공도서관의 특성을 고려한 정보활용교육의 개선방안을 모색했다. 공공도서관의 교육적인 기능이 강화되면서 정보활용교육에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 공공도서관의 특성을 고려한 정보활용교육 운영의 개선방안을 시설과 자료, 사서, 학생. 정보활용교육 프로그램으로 나누어 제시하고. 정보활용교육 내용의 개선방안은 교육준비, 교육방법, 교육진행으로 나누어 제시했다.
