Artificial intelligence technology is influencing across all areas as technology advances and social needs change. Therefore, Korean universities have actively developed and operated classes related to artificial intelligence, and have emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence not only in major education but also in liberal arts education. However, there is a lack of research on the development of educational methods and educational programs because artificial intelligence education in liberal arts is in its early stages. SSI is an education that can apply social and ethical problems related to science to open problems that can creatively and reasonably present solutions. SSI can be applied to make AI education more effective. In this study, an artificial intelligence liberal arts curriculum applied SSI was developed with three purposes: First, it is designed is designed so that students subject to education can access it by considering its characteristics as actors of the intelligent information society. Second, it is designed so that students can experience artificial intelligence programs themselves and deal with science technology and social relevance in depth, focusing on various examples of real life. Third, it is designed and approached so that students can participate and cooperate for the purpose of solving common problems to develop cooperative problem-solving skills.

Although character education has been done for many years in Korea, it has not been sufficiently implemented in Korean schools. Recently it has become more important and consequently a law for it has been announced by government. But studies and discussions about character education have focused on the primary and secondary education rather than higher education including university. In this paper, a character development program in university is proposed. It is using 49 character qualities to develop character in university students. A liberal arts course has been implemented using the program in Chungwoon University.

본 연구에서는 비전공자들을 위한 디지털 교육을 위하여 노 코드 프로그램을 활용한 정보, 수학, 과학 융합교육 교양 강좌를 개발하였다. 노 코드 프로그램으로는 오렌지3 데이터 마이닝을 선정하였는데, 이는 데이터 분석, 시각화, 머신러닝 모델의 활용이 용이하다는 강점을 가지고 있다. 또한, 산업환경 변화에 대비하는 핵심 교과인 과학, 수학, 정보의 중요성과 데이터 분석과의 밀접성을 고려하여 교육 내용을 융합할 수 있도록 선정하였다. 개발된 교육 프로그램은 8인이 전문가 검토 결과 내용 타당도가 확보되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 추후 연구에서는 이 강좌를 대학의 학부생에게 적용하여 그 효과성을 확인해 보고자 한다.

Many colleges in Korea have been making a concentrated effort to develop engineering certification education programs, fit for the certification standards and the reality of each college. However, in reality, many colleges and departments in Korea have great difficulties in making the curriculums meet the engineering certification standards to be proper for the present situation of each college. Therefore, this study aims at suggesting the most general way to make a specialized liberal arts curriculum for the colleges preparing for the engineering certification. When this is applied to the architectural engineering program curriculums of each college, students will be able to take specialized liberal arts subjects which are appropriate for their future careers and aptitudes, and also enterprises will be able to curtail educational expenses for their new employees and hire competent people who combine fundamental personality, basic knowledge about the work, and foreign language proficiency. Furthermore, the nation will be able to secure national competitive power through systematization of engineering education and realistic educational systems.

Writing education for the students who major in natural sciences and engineering is concentrated on just writing in liberal education. So, this article study the condition and practical solution of writing education with a focus on natural sciences and engineering. This article researches the condition of writing in these majors of Seoul National University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University. As a result, students keenly feel the necessity of writing in this major, but SNU does not offer such courses and few teachers that could teach it. To solve this, we propose that writing teachers of liberal education give feedback on the reports of the capstone research subject 3 or 4 times, which corresponds to 1 credit. This solution would be applicable to most universities in practice, though it is not final method.

In this paper, In this paper, we study the recognition of undergraduate students and professors about the relation between mathematics learning contents of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. We chose 155 undergraduate students and 6 professors at college of business administration in M university and investigate their recognition about the relation between mathematics learning contents of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. We found following facts. First, mathematics education in high school should be based on understanding of mathematical conceptions and principles rather than problem-solving skills to intensifying the relation between mathematics of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. Second, we have impressed upon them, whom are going to college of business administration, the need for more mathematics to study a major field.

The Quality of physical therapy school system has conflicts between physical therpist, and reduces the opportunity of seguential education. So this study was investigated in order to made concrete the problems of educational duality, set up the direction of the school system's improvement, as like the four-year system and recognized the necessity. The curriculums of 13 colleges and 5 universities was analyzed. The curriculum analysis was made up the comparison and the analysis by a liberal arts point, a major point, a clinical practice point, total opening subjects, and so on. The analyzing results were as follows. 1. The average rates of a liberal arts vs. a major opening point are 17:83 in college, and are 27:73 in university. 2. It is a serious problem that college are lower than university in a liberal arts. The best method that can solve it is lengthen the number of school years. 3. There is no difference between college and university in a major subject. Rather college has the more subject's numbers than university. 4. There is no difference between college and university in a clinical practice. Above results suggests that there is not different between college and university in a major subject except for a liberal arts point. It is proper that one should be unificate the curriculum according to the sameness between a state examination and a license. Therefore, it is necessary for graduates from college that provides the opportunity of proceeding to a higher school, demands the seguential system of study cultivating and producing a bachelor, and requires the continual education in a clinical field, a bachelor admitting system of continual education, and clinical therapist's qualification. The present physical therapy educational systems should be unificated because of many right reasons. On the other hand, the follw-up study that improving the school system about the four-years and the more physical therapy should be continue from the viewpoint of education.

This paper studies VPBL(Various PBL) models, applies them to classes, and analyzes results so that students of various majors can design and implement problems according to the characteristics of their majors in order to improve problem solving in education. VPBL performs the process of designing and implementing problems that reflect the characteristics of the major by applying constraints to the professor's programming language. The professor performs mini_class in the process of solving the designed problem and then shares it throughout. VPBL model apply results, The traditional teaching method was 3.51 points and the application of the VPBL model was 4.52 points, and "interaction, understanding of learning contents, and acquiring knowledge related to curriculum" were improved. In addition, VPBL has the advantage of expanding the learning range in the solving process as it is based on various problem solving, which has the effect of expanding the learning range compared to existing class models. Research on the expanded application of various SW liberal education in the future is required.

The purpose of this study is to identify adult learners' decision making variables, satisfaction, and evaluation toward fashion education as a university lifelong education program. As decision making variables, this study included participation purpose, information source, and selection criteria for lifelong education center and program. Regarding satisfaction toward fashion education, this study included satisfaction toward program and satisfaction toward education condition and administrative services. Data were gathered by both questionnaires and focus group interview(FGI) with 12 adults who completed the program. While questionnaires were used for decision making variables and satisfaction, FGI was used for evaluation. Frequency was used to analyze the questionnaires and content analysis was used to analyze the results of FGI. The findings showed that respondents participated mostly because of hobby or interest and got information mostly from acquaintances. They regarded program contents as the selection criteria for lifelong education center. They also regarded lecturers' professionality as the selection criteria for the program and showed high satisfaction toward lecturers' passion. Regarding education condition and administrative services, they showed high satisfaction. FGI also showed the importance of individual competence, career development, a work-study program, a on-site study program, and lecturer. The results suggest methods to make university lifelong education programs more appealing to adults who want to attend universities for non-degree university programs.

This study was conducted with the aim of exploring ways to more effectively manage related courses by checking the educational effects of the operation of engineering liberal arts courses operated for the development of communication skills of engineering students by detailed factors of communication skills. To achieve the purpose of the study, literature review and survey methodologies were used. A survey was conducted before and after class targeting four class students of the engineering college of D University in Gyeonggi-do. As a result of comparing the results of the pre-test before class through this class and the results of the post-test conducted at the end of the class, it was confirmed that speaking ability, reading ability, and communication ability were improved at a statistically significant level. In addition, as a result of analyzing differences in communication competencies for each individual variable, it was found that there were statistically significant differences according to gender, students' major field, and grade. Based on such research results, several educational proposals were presented to increase the effectiveness of the management of courses operated to develop communication skills.
