어떤 부부가 함께 여가시간을 보내는가? : 부부공유여가시간의 현황과 부부관계의 질에 관한 탐색 (Which Couple Has More Shared Leisure Time? : The Exploration of Shared Leisure Time and Marital Relationship in Korea)

  • In recent years, leisure time has received increasing attention in Korean society. Despite the growing interest, however, there are very few studies that explored shared leisure time, especially among married couples. In this light, the present study examined variations in shared leisure time by demographic characteristics and associations between shared leisure time and quality of marital relationship. We used the third wave of the national data KLoWF (Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families, 9,997 19-64 years old women). The study sample included 5,965 married women with no prior history of divorce. Results showed that Korean wives reported very little shared leisure time with their husbands. Given that the mean of the shared leisure time reported by employed women was significantly lower than that of the un-employed, we speculated that the time constraint may be one of the major barriers to having leisure time with one's spouse among Korean married couples. Married women in their 30's had the most frequent couple leisure time. The younger wives in their 20s had more cultural leisure time with their husbands, but sharing outdoor leisure time was not related to their age. The higher level of education for women was associated with greater shared active leisure time. However, visiting a husband's family often took place regardless of the wives' education level. After controlling for age, years of education, job status and annual family income, shared active leisure time (i.e., cultural activity and exercise) was positively related to marital satisfaction. Visiting one's own family, however, was not considered a leisure activity for Korean wives. Rather, frequent family visits were related to lower marital satisfaction. Findings shed light on how leisure life of married women with spouses are intertwined with not only their socioeconomic status and but also marital relationship in culturally unique ways.

척수손상환자의 여가활동이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Leisure Activity by the Spinal Cord Injury on Quality of Life)

  • 목적 : 척수손상환자의 만족도와 삶의 질의 수준을 높이기 위한 중요한 수단이 여가활동으로 보고, 여가활동이 만족도와 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 작업치료 중재의 근거자료를 제시하고자한다. 연구방법 : 2010년 11월부터 2011년 3월까지 9개 기관에서 척수손상환자 120명 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 그 중 94부를 대상으로 SPSS 12.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, t 검증과 일원변량분산으로 분석하였다. 결과 : 척수손상부위에 따른 여가만족도와 마비정도에 따른 여가만족도는 각각 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(p< .05). 결론 : 요수손상환자의 여가만족도가 가장 높았고, 불완전손상일수록 여가만족도를 향상시킨다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 여가활동 유형이 여가만족도와 삶의 질에 연관성이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

여가생활만족도에 관한 인과관계분석 -여가생활 참여도, 여가시간, 여가비용을 중심으로- (An Analysis of Causal effect on Leisure Life Satisfaction -Focused on leisure activity participation, leisure time and leisure expenditure-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze a causal effect on the housewife's leisure activity participation, leisure expenditure and leisure life satisfaction. Data was collected 249 housewives in Pusan. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, one-way Anova, multiple regression, Pearson's correlation and path analysis. The main findings of the research were as follows: First, there were significant differences in leisure activity participation according to socio-demographic and economic variables. Physical type showed significant differences when housewife was 30's and unemployed, size of family was 3 and 4, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was professionals and technicians, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was higher. There were significant differences that occupation of husband was professionals and technicians, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was higher in self-developing type. restful type showed significant differences when housewife was 40's, age of the lastborn child was under 13-18, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate. There were significant differences that housewife was unemployed in home-oriented type. There were significant differences that housewife was 30's and unemployed, size of family was 4, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was market and sales worker, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective in time-spending type. Second, there were significant differences in leisure time, leisure expenditure and leisure life satisfaction according to socio-demographic and economic variables. Leisure time showed significant differences when housewife was unemployed, age of the lastborn child was under 13-18, occupation of husband was service, educational attainment of housewife was under highschool graduate, income was higher. Leisure expenditure showed significant differences when housewife was 30's, size of family was under 3, age of the lastborn child was under 6, occupation of husband was senior officials and manager, educational attainment of housewife was over junior college graduate, pattern of housing was collective, income was over 5,000,000 won. There were significant differences that housewife was unemployed in leisure life satisfaction. Third, casual effect was path analysed according to path model. Employment and unemployment of housewife, income and occupation of husband (product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on phycial type. Age of housewife, employment and unemployment of housewife and occupation of husband (product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on children-concerned type. Age of housewife had an effect on social-concerned type. Education of husband, income, age of lastborn child and occupation of husband (professor and teacher) had an effect on self-developing type. Age of lastborn child, employment and unemployment of housewife and occupation of husband(product & transport equipment operator) had an effect on children-concerned type. Age of lastborn child and children number had an effect on religious-social type. Employment and unemployment of housewife had an effect on home-oriented type. Age of housewife, education of husband had an effect on time-spending type. Restful type, employment and unemployment of housewife, and occupation of husband(service) have an effect on leisure time. Income, leisure time, self-developing type, children concerned type and occupation of husband(senior officials and manager) had an effect on leisure expenditure. Leisure expenditure, self-developing type, employment and nemploymentof housewife, income had an effect on leisure life satisfaction.

민간경비원의 여가활동과 직무스트레스 및 이직의사의 관계 (Relations beween Leisure Activity Duty Stress and Separation Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 민간경비원의 여가활동과 직무스트레스 및 이직의사의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 수도권 소재 민간경비 회사에 재직하고 있는 민간경비원을 대상으로 설정 하였으며, 판단표집법을 활용하여 총 360명을 표집 하였다. 그러나 최종 분석에 사용된 사례 수는 333명이다. 연구에 이용된 설문지의 신뢰도는 $\alpha$=.752 이상으로 나타났다. 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 16.0을 이용하여 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, t검증, F검증, 다중회귀분석, 경로분석 등의 방법을 활용하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회인구통 계학적 특성에 따라 직무스트레스 및 이직의사는 차이가 있다. 둘째, 여가활동 참가기간은 신체적 스트레스에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 여가활동 기간이 증가하면 직무스트레스는 감소한다. 셋째, 여가활동 참가정도는 이직의사에 영향을 미치지 않는다. 넷째, 여가활동 참가는 직무스트레스 및 이직의사에 인과적 영향을 미친다. 즉, 직무스트레스는 여가활동과 이직의사의 관계를 매개하는 중요한 변수이다.

디지털 레저 문화의 창의적 진화, 시리어스 게임 (Creative Evolution of Digital Leisure Culture, Serious Games)

  • 디지털 시대가 도래함에 따라 e스포츠와 같은 디지털 레저문화가 등장하면서 국민들의 레저 문화 양상이 변화하고 있다. 그 중에서도, 상호작용적인 미디어를 대표하는 디지털 게임은 그 고유한 특성으로 인해 국민들이 선호하는 디지털 레저 활동으로 성장하고 있다. 레저란 참여자들의 주관적 인식에 따라 정신적 수준을 포함할 수 있기 때문에 정서적이며 인지적인 기능을 포함하는 디지털 게임은 유의미한 디지털 레저 활동이 될 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 게임에 창조적 생산성과 목적성 콘텐츠를 가미한 시리어스 게임이 의미 있는 디지털 레저 활동이 될 수 있다는 주장을 전제로, 학제적 연구에 기반하여 디지털 게임의 개념과 기능적 특성에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고 그 특성들과 목적지향성에 근간하여 시리어스 게임이 디지털 레저 문화가 될 수 있다는 새로운 개념을 제안하였으며 시리어스 게임의 개념과 활용범위에 대한 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 기존 유형별 범위에 레저/관광 부분을 추가로 제안하였다. 이어서, 디지털 레저 문화로써 그 기능적 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 게임 사례들인 의미추구 레저형, 건강지식교육 레저형, 사회인식변화 레저형 시리어스 게임과 관광 레저형 시리어스 게임을 분석하여 제시한 뒤 시리어스 게임의 효과성 연구를 통해 디지털 레저 문화로써 시리어스 게임의 활용력 부분에 대한 근거를 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 현재 디지털 레저문화는 창의적으로 진화 하고 있으며 그 창조적 산물인 시리어스 게임은 디지털 레저문화로써 즐거움과 동시에 사회문화적 가치를 지닐 수 있는 유용한 도구가 될 수 있다고 나타났다.

  • 경제적 성장과 주 5일 근무제 시행에 따라 국민들의 삶의 질 향상과 다양한 삶을 추구하고자 하는 가치관의 형성으로 특히 해양에서의 레저 활동의 참여가 증가하고 있다. 다양한 해양 레저 활동 중에서 스킨스쿠버다이빙의 활동이 상대적으로 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있지만, 이와 관련한 제도적 체계는 이를 따르지 못하고 있다. 이에 스킨스쿠버다이빙과 관련한 여러 가지 제도적 체계의 현황을 고찰하여 문제점을 확인하고 개선방안을 도출하고자 한다.

한부모가족의 시간사용과 여가활동 실태분석 - 행복한 생활을 위한 생활경험을 중심으로 - (Time Use and Leisure Activity Status Analysis of Single-Parent-Family - Focusing on Living Experience for a Happy Life)

  • This study grasps the living condition of Single-Parent-Family, and compares Single-Parent-Family with Dual-Parent-Family to analyze necessary factors to enjoy the happier life. The data from '2009 the Korean Time Use Survey' and '2010 the National Survey of Korean Families(NSKF)' are used for this study. ANOVA, Duncan test, Correlation Analysis(SPSS for windows, Ver. 18.0) are used for statistical method. Here are the results of this study. First, distribution of living-time-usage of the Single-Parent-Family is different from that of Dual-Parent-Family. Second, the difference in the amount of leisure time, time distribution, and the content of activity was observed based on the gender of Single-Parent-Family. Third, there is a difference in family leisure activity time among Dual-Parent-Family, Mother-Single-Parent-Family, and Father-Single-Parent-Family in holidays. Fourth, there is a clear difference between Dual-Parent-Family and Single-Parent-Family, after looking at life satisfaction degree in work-family-leisure life experience.

한국과학영재학교와 민족사관고 학생들의 여가활동특성 및 생활만족 분석 (The Analysis of Korea Science Academy and Min Jok Leadership Academy Students's Leisure Activity property and Life satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 한국과학영재학교 학생들과 민족사관고 학생들의 여가활동특성 및 생활만족도를 규명하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 한국과학영재학교(이하 영재학교) 166명(남:122, 여:44), 민족사관고(이하 민사고) 184명(남:71, 여:113)학생으로 결론은 다음과 같다. 1) 여가활동으로 남학생들은 스포츠, 여학생의 경우 영재학교는 취미교앙활동, 민사고는 관람감상활동에 가장 많이 참여하는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 스트레스 해소를 위해 여가가 필요하다는 응답이 모든 집단에서 가장 높았다. 3) 남학생들의 과반수 이상이 현재 여가활동에 대해 만족하고 있으나, 영재학교 남학생 12%, 민사고 여학생 14% 정도가 '불만족' 또는 '매우 불만족'하다고 응답하여 보완책이 필요함을 시사하였다. 4) 여가활동참여 동기는 정신적 스트레스와 갈등을 해소하기 위해서라는 응답이 가장 높았다. 5) 학생 중 75$\sim$80% 정도는 여가활동이 건강과 체력 유지에 중요하거나 아주 중요한 역할을 한다고 인식하고 있었다. 6) 여가활동동반자는 친구와 함께 한다는 응답이 높았으나 혼자서 여가활동을 한다는 비율도 30% 정도였다. 7) 영재학교 남학생 51%, 여학생 40%, 민사고 남학생 40%, 여학생 48% 정도가 무계획적으로 여가활동에 참여하였다. 8) 평일 하루 여가활동 평균시간은 2시간 미만으론 남학생들이 여학생들 보다. 영재학교 학생들이 민사고 학생들 보다 여가시간이 많았다. 9) 평일에 주로 하는 여가활동은 영재학교 남학생들은 스포츠 활동, 민사고 남학생과 여학생 및 영재학교 여학생 집단은 취미교양활동이 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였다. 10) 평일 영재학교 남학생 38%, 민사고 54% 학생들이 컴퓨터게임을 하지 않고, 여학생들의 경우 70% 정도가 컴퓨터게임을 하지 않았다. 주말 컴퓨터게임은 영재학교 여학생 61%, 민사고 여학생 53%가 전혀 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 11) 여가활동에 참여하지 못하는 이유는 시험이나 과제 및 학습으로 인한 시간부족을 꼽았으며, 게을러서 여가활동을 하지 않는다는 응답도 집단별로 19%$\sim$25% 정도였다. 12) 영재학교 남학생들이 민사고 남학생들보다 생활만족도가 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으나(p<.05), 여학생들은 유의할 만한 차이가 없었다.

가족여가 활성화를 위한 정책방안 (Study of a Policy Plan for Vitalizing a family Leisure)

  • This study is to solve following problems by a family leisure as the problem of a single person in seclusion type, teenager-children being addicted to game, the disconnection of culture inheritance among inter-generation, the elder being isolated from leisure, the increase of the children using a key to go into home alone, the problem of a gender discrimination. This study defines the policy for a family leisure as "policy that ultimately creates the happiness of family, prevents the family problem and deals with it, through the leisure activities that are suitable to family life cycle". It also considers some other important properties(equality, gender and family life cycle, space) besides the constitution and function of family leisure. To create the happiness of family, the direction of the policy for a family leisure heads toward the positive function such as unification, creativity, and psychological stability of family members. At this point, the object of the policy for a family leisure is a unit of the family and it focuses on the level of interaction and positive function development between family members, being beyond the concept of family activity. Therefore, the policy that is to vitalize a family leisure must contain the interaction and positive function between the family members. Hereupon, to vitalize a family leisure, this study leads above-mentioned subjects based on programming, running leisure facility, information system, experts, social awareness, and supporting to the various family. Specialty, the process of leading these subjects is connected to the suggestion of the concrete program and then, is to result in supporting the program development for the essential leisure policy.

노인의 우울증과 여가활동의 상관성에 관한 연구 - 대구시 북구를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Correlation between the Types of Leisure Activity and Depression in the Elderly - in Bukgu District, Daegu City -)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between the types of leisure activity and Korean form of geriatric depression score in the elderly. Methods: We surveyed elderly (>60 years old) people who participated in leisure activities using interviews in Bukgu district, Daegu city. Data collection was performed from 1 - 31 May, 2008. The data was analyzed with SPSS 12.0 program, which was used for descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: Common leisure activities scored 'often' and 'very often' were family conversations, offspring visiting, eating out, plant cultivation, entertainment, conversation, walking or jogging, and TV or radio. It was investigated at the rate of 19.2% in the moderate depression and 8.3% in the severely depression. Depression positively associated with newspaper or magazine, family conversation, offspring visiting, social service, movie & theater, exercise and tour. Conclusion: Most elderly people surveyed indicated they were depressed, which should recommend significant leisure activities for elderly to reduce depression in Bukgu district, Daegu city.
