공학계열 대학생의 학습역량 측정도구 개발 및 타당화 연구: K대학을 중심으로 (A Study on the Development and Validation of the Learning Competencies Scale for Engineering College Students: A Case Study K University)

  • This study is conducted with the aim of identify the factors constituting learning competencies for engineering college students, and developing and validating the scale to measure them. To this end, literature and prior research were reviewed and focus group interview was conducted with high-achieving learners of K University in the capital region of Korea. According to previous research, 3 learning competency groups, 12 learning competencies and 41 sub-competencies were derived. Delphi survey was carried out twice, 28 sub-competencies were derived among the 41 sub-competencies through this process. 166 initial items were developed through literature review and FGI. Then, 130 items were confirmed by verifying content validity in the second Delphi survey. Based on this, pilot test were performed with 110 students in K university, and an interview was conducted with 50 students who participated in the pilot test. Reflecting the pilot test results, 1 sub-competency and 22 items were deleted. After the confirmed pilot test results, the main test were performed with all current students in K University. According to the main test result, the validity of the scale and the model fit was verified for the response data of 823 students, and the scale consisting of a total of 105 items was confirmed. The final learning competencies scale included three competency groups and 10 learning competencies. The scale developed in this study can be used as an independent scale for each competency group as needed. It is expected that this scale can be contributed to support the development their learning competencies for academic success of engineering college students, who are future learners.

간호학생의 비판적 사고성향과 핵심능력 (The Relationship of Core Competencies(Problem Solving Ability, Communication Ability, Self-directed Learning Ability) to Critical Thinking)

  • Purpose: This study was done to analyze core competencies affecting critical thinking ability of student nurses. Core competencies investigated in this study were problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability. Method: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 322 student nurses in 2 provinces during the period from May 21 to June 8, 2007. Critical thinking, problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability were measured using the Disposition towards Critical Thinking Scale by Park(1999-a) and the Core Competencies Scale by Lee(2003). Descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significant differences in the critical thinking according to grade, type of high school, experience with PBL, preference for lecture-based learning, preference for discussion and perceived logicality. The score for critical thinking showed significantly positive correlations with scores for problem solving ability(r=0.54, p=0.00), communication ability(r=0.56, p=0.00) and self-directed learning ability(r=0.54, p=0.00). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability are significant factors affecting critical thinking in student nurses.

델파이 조사를 통한 영재교육 핵심역량 개발 및 타당화 연구 (A Study on Developing and Validating Core Competencies for Gifted Education Based on Delphi Technique)

  • 본 연구는 델파이 조사 방법을 활용하여 영재교육 핵심역량을 개발하고, 역량별 정의를 토대로 행동 요소 선정 및 척도 문항을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 문헌 분석을 통해 영재교육 핵심역량을 선정한 후 각 역량의 정의가 역량명에 적합한지를 확인하기 위한 1차 델파이 조사를 진행하였다. 이후 2차 델파이 조사를 통해 핵심역량 함양을 위해 요구되는 능력을 행동 요소로 표현하여 세부 문항을 개발하고 타당화 작업을 수행하였다. 2차에 걸친 델파이 조사를 통해 태도와 실천의지, 의사소통과 협업, 정보처리와 도구 활용, 창의적 문제해결, 융합과 응용, 고등 추론, 공동체 의식, 학습성취지향의 8개 핵심역량을 최종적으로 선정하였다. 본 연구는 영재교육이 사회적 요구에 부합하는 목표를 추구하기 위해 필요한 영재교육 핵심역량과 행동 요소를 선정하고, 역량 함양의 정도를 측정할 수 있는 도구를 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

약대 프리셉터 양성교육 후 프리셉터 역량의 중요도-수행도 분석연구 (Importance-Performance Analysis of Pharmacy Preceptors' Competencies after a Preceptor Education Program)

  • According to the changed '2+4'-year pharmacy school curriculum in Korea, pharmacy preceptors play a highly crucial role in educating student pharmacists through practice-based learning. Whether the new curriculum in a Korean pharmacy school will become firmly established or not depends on the competency of a preceptor. Before the preceptors with high competencies are anticipated, the effective education programs for them should be provided. However, there have been little studies regarding the competencies of pharmacy preceptors in Korea. This study was to analyze the degree of differences between importance and performance of preceptors' competencies. The self-reported questionnaire was utilized to collect data from pharmacists in the preceptor education program of a university. Total 122 pharmacists participated in the program, and 78 responded to the survey questionnaires. The average of importance for overall evaluation items was 4.32 whereas that of performance for them was 3.51 by using a 5-point Likert scale. The evaluation items with relatively marked differences between importance and performance were 'sufficient time allowance for students', 'teaching research results regarding newly approved drugs', 'clear understanding of goals and learning contents about pharmacy practice experiences', and 'plan for systemic experience educations'. Further follow-up researches on changes of the differences in importance- performance of preceptors' competencies after precepting student pharmacists should be implemented. Furthermore, the effective and appropriate methods for the preceptor education programs based on the follow-up studies should be developed to reduce the difference between importance and performance.

A Study on the Development of Core Competency Diagnostic Tools for Professors at A' University

  • Purpose: This study attempted to systematize a support system that can enhance teaching core competencies by establishing a scale for diagnosing teaching core competencies at University A. Research design, data and methodology : To this end, the first Delphi was conducted With six experts related to university core competency modeling research by extracting factors and designing structured questionnaires through a literature review process that collects and analyzes prior research related to domestic and foreign university teaching competency. The derived questions were diagnosed on 27 professors, and independent sample t-verification and ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 24.0 for analysis by key teaching competency factors. Result: What is the standard suitability of KMO. It was shown as 929 (KMO standard conformity value is close to 1), and Barlett's sphericity verification showed χ2=5773.295, df=1081, p<.It appeared as 001 and confirmed that it was suitable for conducting factor analysis. Conclusions: The core competencies of A University teachers were set based on the educational goals of A University, such as basic teaching competency, creative teaching competency, practical teaching competency, and communication teaching competency. This means that the concept and factors of the core competency of professors are likely to change, and in the end, continuous efforts to upgrade and apply research on core competency of professors are essential to quickly and organically respond to changes in competency required to increase the competitiveness of universities.

대학생 핵심역량 진단도구의 개발과 타당화 연구 : M대학교를 중심으로 (Development and Validation of a Scale for Diagnosing the Core Competency of University Students: M University Case Study)

  • 현재 우리나라의 대학들은 사회에서 요구하는 능력과 태도를 갖추고 이를 준비할 수 있는 인재를 키우기 위해 노력 중이며 이 중 많은 대학들이 핵심역량 기반의 교육을 실시하고 있다. 이에 학생들의 핵심역량을 객관적으로 측정하여 교육성과를 확인할 필요성이 제기되고 있으며 이를 진단할 수 있는 도구들을 개발하고 있다. 전문화된 해양인력을 양성하는 M대학의 경우에도 대학의 특수성을 반영한 핵심역량 기반 교육을 실시하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 M대학의 핵심역량을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고 이를 타당화 하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 첫째, 문헌고찰을 중심으로 예비문항을 개발하였고, 둘째, 문항분석 및 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 6개의 구성요소를 도출하였다. 마지막으로 최종 검사를 실시하여 총 52개의 문항이 도출되었고 이에 대한 타당성 여부를 확보하였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 개발한 검사 도구는 학생들의 핵심역량 수준을 진단할 뿐만 아니라 개별 핵심역량 수준을 진단하여 프로그램을 연계할 수 있으며, 궁극적으로 해사 및 해양 특성화를 갖춘 대학의 차별화된 인재를 기르기 위한 기초자료로 사용 가능할 것이다.

Development and Effect of H-STEAM centering on Secondary Education of Korea

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and analyze the meaning and contents of the "H-STEAM teaching & learning model" which combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics (STEAM) with the elements of Humanities. We developed this model based on the key competencies linked with career path for middle school students in Korea, with the recognition of two issues. First, the existing Korean STEAM education lacks the elements of humanities, thus failing to achieve an authentic convergence education. Second, it is necessary to develop a program that might correspond to the Free Semester Program that was first introduced in 2013, and implemented at full scale in 2016 for middle school students in Korea. The advantages of H-STEAM are as follows: First, H-STEAM enables students to flexibly think while traversing the physical world and the symbolic world in the process of dealing with the daily problems. Second, it combines advanced technology with human sensibility and imagination, and enables students to derive creative outcomes that stimulate their minds. Third, it makes students feel and realize a point of contact between the subject that students learn, and jobs of the real world.

디지털 리터러시 함양을 위한 중학교 가정과 '성폭력 예방' 교수-학습과정안 개발 (Development of Middle School Home Economics Teaching-Learning Plans for Digital Literacy Cultivation: Focusing on the 'Prevention of Sexual Violence')

  • 본 연구는 '성폭력 예방'을 주제로 분석, 설계, 개발, 평가 단계에 따라 디지털 리터러시 역량 함양을 위한 가정과 교수·학습과 정안을 개발하는 데 목적을 두었다. 분석 단계에서는 2022 개정 교육과정의 총론을 분석하여 디지털 리터러시 역량 함양의 필요성을 확인하였으며 2015 개정 가정과교육과정의 '성폭력 예방'과 관련된 내용체계 및 성취기준과 교과서를 분석하여 교수·학습과정안 설계를 위한 요소들을 추출하였다. 설계 단계에서는 각 차시별로 배움목표와 내용구성, 디지털 리터러시 역량에 따른 디지털 도구 활용 계획을 설계하였다. 개발 단계에서는 '성폭력 예방'을 주제로 6차시의 교수·학습과정안과 교수·학습자료를 개발하고, 각 차시별 교수·학습 활동에서 디지털 도구를 활용할 수 있는 방안을 고안하였다. 평가 단계에서 6명의 가정교육 전문가로부터 타당도 평가를 받았으며, 5점 리커트 척도 문항 평균 결과, 본 연구에서 개발된 교수·학습과정안이 중학생의 디지털 리터러시 역량을 향상하는 데 적합하다는 평가를 받았다. 또한 개방형 문항에 대한 전문가 의견들을 바탕으로 교수·학습과정안 수정 및 보완되어 총 7차시의 교수·학습과정안이 완성되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 '성폭력 예방' 가정과 교수·학습과정안이 수업 실행을 통해 학생들의 디지털 리터러시 역량 함양에 기여하기를 기대한다.

중학교 2학년 학생들의 과학 교과 역량에 대한 인식 (Eighth Grade Students' Perception of the Science Core Competencies)

  • 이 연구에서는 중학교 2학년 과학 교과서에서 제시하고 있는 과학 교과 역량의 반영 정도와 중학교 2학년 학생들의 과학 교과 역량에 대한 인식을 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 중학교 2학년 과학 교과서에서 명시적으로 과학 교과 역량을 제시한 빈도를 분석하였으며, 충남 지역의 3개 학교 400명을 대상으로 과학 교과 역량에 대한 인식을 설문 조사를 통해 알아보았다. 설문 조사는 5단계 리커트 척도로 구성된 15개 문항과 5개의 자율 서열형 문항으로 구성되었다. 설문은 성실하게 응답한 327명의 응답을 분석하였으며, 설문 결과의 해석을 위하여 사후 면담을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학교 2학년 과학 교과서에서는 과학 교과 역량 중 '과학적 사고력', '과학적 탐구 능력', '과학적 의사소통 능력'의 비중이 크며, 학생들은 교과서에 '과학적 사고력', '과학적 탐구 능력', '과학적 문제 해결력'의 비중이 높은 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 학생들은 학교에서 이루어 지는 평가에서 '과학적 탐구 능력'과 '과학적 문제 해결력'의 비중이 높고, '과학적 의사소통 능력'과 '과학적 참여와 평생 학습 능력'의 비중이 매우 낮다고 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 학생들이 인식하는 과학에서 가장 중요한 교과 역량은 '과학적 문제 해결력'이고, 과학에서 가장 얻고 싶은 역량은 '과학적 탐구 능력'이었으며, 미래사회를 살아가는 데 가장 필요한 역량은 '과학적 의사소통 능력'으로 나타났다. 넷째, '과학적 참여와 평생 학습 능력'의 경우 과학 소양의 중요한 요소이나 과학 교과서를 구성하는 비율이 낮고 학생들도 과학에서의 중요성이나 필요성을 인식하지 못하고 있었다.

Comunidades de Aprendizaje: Saberes y Habilidades Colectivas en Pequeños Productores Vinícolas del Noreste Mexicano

  • Over the last few years, rural areas in northeastern Mexico have present significant changes in social, economic, and territorial aspects linked to the New Rurality. In this context, winemaking has become one of the most dynamic and growing activities in the regional economy. This emerging development has prompted different forms of appropriation and use of this space, but it also highlights the lack of access to knowledge for wine production due to the lack of formal educational centers. As a result, learning communities enable the development of skills and competencies through non-formal educational practices. The objective of this paper is to analyze the role of learning communities in non-formal educational environments, taking as a case study: a collective of small-scale wine producers in Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila. This research focuses on two perspectives of learning: appropriation and technology transfer, and promotion of Mexican wine culture. The main finding was to demonstrate the importance of including educational processes that respond to the context and needs of the community.
