Methods: Seventeen children (10 boys, 7 girls, 6.6-11.9 years) from the near poor Families' were enrolled in this study. Children were evaluated for a learning disability and frontal executive function. Results: In Learning disability indices, 3 children showed low scores in subscales and 2 children showed low scores in learning quotient. In Frontal executive function, 3 children showed low scores in CCTT (Children's Color Trails Test) and 11children showed low scores in STROOP (Stroop Color and Word Test). Conclusions: Intensive management, educational programs, and additional neuropsychological tests will be needed in children with low learning scores.

  • It is urgent to have learning support for children with learning disability according to the survey made by the government educational organization. To this end, we developed a learning support system for children with learning disability. First, the system diagnoses the children with learning disability using a decision tree based on the pre-test results. Secondly, it supports for children with learning disability one of audio-, vision- and tactility-oriented learning types according to the results from the psychological learning style test. Thirdly, one-to-one study is supported for failed students at the achievement test. For the evaluation of the system, the children with disability were divided into an experimental group and a control group and the educational achievement was evaluated. We found that 10% on the average was improved in case that learning was made after the psychological test for learning styles.

  • The purpose of this research is to compare the effect of unplugged learning method with traditional lecture method on intellectual disability students' informatics education achievement. For this goal, we developed a new unplugged learning method and new appropriate teach-learning materials that can improve the intellectual disability students' informatics education achievement. We randomly divided special school specialized course freshman into the experimental group and the control group. We applied unplugged learning method to the experimental group and lecture teaching method to the control group. According to these results, Intellectual disability students participated in task interestingly and spontaneously. It has been proved that the teaching-learning materials applied unplugged learning method were helpful for intellectual disability students' informatics education achievement.

  • Learning methods using various assistive and smart devices have been developed to enable independent learning of the disabled. Pointer control is the most important consideration for the disabled when controlling a device and the contents of an existing graphical user interface (GUI) environment; however, difficulties can be encountered when using a pointer, depending on the disability type; Although there are individual differences depending on the blind, low vision, and upper limb disability, problems arise in the accuracy of object selection and execution in common. A multimodal interface pilot solution is presented that enables people with various disability types to control web interactions more easily. First, we classify web interaction types using digital devices and derive essential web interactions among them. Second, to solve problems that occur when performing web interactions considering the disability type, the necessary technology according to the characteristics of each disability type is presented. Finally, a pilot solution for the multimodal interface for each disability type is proposed. We identified three disability types and developed solutions for each type. We developed a remote-control operation voice interface for blind people and a voice output interface applying the selective focusing technique for low-vision people. Finally, we developed a gaze-tracking and voice-command interface for GUI operations for people with upper-limb disability.

  • The present study was performed to investigate the general research trends of dyslexia and learning disability to explore the centrality of related variables though analysis of keyword networks. Data were collected from ten years articles research information sharing service(RISS) which is provided by korea education and research information service(KERIS). The research subjects selected for the analysis were keyword cleansing work, extraction major keyword using KrKwic program and using NodeXL program to Visualize the center of connection between keyword. The results of this were as follows. First, totally 72 of keyword were extracted from keyword cleansing process and among those keyword. major keywords included learning disability, dyslexia, RTI. Second, analysis of the betweenness centrality of dyslexia and learing disabilities shows that learning disabilities are a key word that has been addressed in the study of dyslexia and learning disabilities in korea. The results of these studies suggest a method of analyzing trends in qualitative and qualitative analysis in relation to dyslexia and learning disorder.

  • Distance learning for students with intellectual disabilities can prove beneficial, particularly if adjusted to their educational characteristics and needs. This study seeks to identify the views of parents living in Saudi Arabia, regarding the opportunities offered by distance learning for students with intellectual disabilities, alongside their challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research employed qualitative methods using semi-structured interviews with six parents of students with intellectual disabilities. The results revealed a number of both opportunities and challenges, including issues related to the family, in addition, the data highlighted difficulties related to the educational process (i.e. a lack of variety of educational methods) and technical issues related to access to the Internet and the insufficient computer skills of both teachers and students. The findings have several important implications for future practice, including the need for training workshops for parents concerning the online platform, as well as further research to determine students' perspectives of their experiences with distance learning.

  • In this study, the effect of gamified disability awareness program was researched to examine its potential to be used as a disability awareness curriculum particular to Korean schools. The gamified program consisted of lessons related to disability skiing such as learning about Paralympic skier, experiencing mono skis, and participating in cooperative games. To examine its effectiveness, Multidimensional Attitudes Scale towards persons with disabilities (MAS) was used. Results indicate that the attitude of the experiment group showed significant change.

  • The importance of smart learning is increasing as the speed of development of non-face-to-face services increases due to the influence of COVID-19. This study is the user satisfaction evaluation model that utilizes the causal relationship between variables used for evaluation, focusing on the usability evaluation results of the learning disability intervention service (www.basic-edu.net) according to the need to evaluate the use satisfaction of the smart learning system. To this end, theoretical studies were conducted on smart learning and learning disability intervention services, www.basic-edu.net, usability evaluation of learning disability intervention systems, and use satisfaction evaluation models. And based on the results, a hypothesis was presented on the user satisfaction evaluation model of the smart learning system. The experimental method allowed 40 students and parents across the country to use the www.basic-edu.net service and was evaluated for its usability. In addition, using this data, the hypothesis was verified using regression analysis based on four variables: ease of use, interest, self-learning, and satisfaction with use. As a result of the hypothesis verification, it was found that the causal relationship of all hypotheses from H1 to H4 was significant.
