The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of self-efficacy and social support on self-leadership in nursing students. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 237 nursing students from September to October 2017, and the study instruments comprised self-efficacy, social support, and self-leadership. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The result showed that the difference in self-leadership relating to general characteristics were significant leader experience, friendship, and school club activities. The correlation among self-efficacy, social support, and self-leadership were significant, and the significant factors influencing self-leadership in nursing students were self-efficacy and social support. In order to increase self-leadership of nursing students, it is necessary to develop and apply a program that enhances self-efficacy and social support. This will help them grow into a competent nurse.
This study was conducted to provide information useful in developing a nursing curriculum. The sample consisted of 158 nursing students in Hanyang University and 34 faculty members who has taught them in their college & the practical area. Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire, which consisted of general characteristics of the students & their self-concept, teacher's perception of student's professional roles. The results are summarized as follows; 1. General characteristics of the students When the students applied for the university, they decided what they would specialized in. Because the motive of application for their major was simply based on their high school records, they were admitted to their university without previous knowledge of their major. The reason why they wanted to tranfer to another course after the admission was the same as above. The level of satisfaction of their major was the highest in Freshman, but in other grades the higher the;, grades were, the more they satisfied with their major and they had a better prospects about their speciality. 2. Self-concept in profermance for their major Self-concept in horne aspects was more positive perception than in social aspects & self control aspects. It resulted from tile fact that all students were females and the nursing uniqueness was based on the spirit of humanity & service. The students who had graduated from the high school in rural area wanted to tranfer to another course and taken counsel their personal problems with their parents had higher self-concept in horne aspects. As their grades were higher, the self-concept in social aspects bacame higher. The students who were satisfied with their major and took counsel their personal problems with their parents had more positive self - concept in social aspects. Self-concept in self control aspects was lower than other aspects. The students who didn't take counsel their problems with their parents, were burdened with their educational expenses and their curriculum had more negative self-concept in self control aspects. Therefore the university should be concerned about student's welfare and provide detailed orientation about their curriculum. 3. Teacher's perception about learner's professional role The role model of democratic group leader, role models for learners facilitator in a students' reach for knowledge and teaching based on soundly researched theory showed more positive perception than other factors. Their mean values were over 4. 32. The professionalism of allnurshing area, reinforcement with reinforcement for learning, nursing as part of the meaningful context of the whole showed nagative perception. Their mean values were below 3. 00. Therefore the nurse as a teacher should try to promote the locus of nursing profession and participate in their research actively.
We are making products and services that we didn't easily think or even imagine when young and living using them. Consumer needs become more diversified, markets and technologies are being constantly changed, and corporate global competitiveness is getting intensified. Now, companies that don't change nor create new values cannot survive. The cycle of new products is faster, and therefore corporations should improve previous products continuously or create new values according to such a trend. This era requires 'creativity' for companies to overcome uncertainty and survive. Corporate creativity is not easily activated as financial and physical compensation unlike the work ability or performance. When there is an environment that people with various abilities, experiences and backgrounds can express their opinions freely, it becomes possible. Despite the importance, the studies have focused on creativity education so far instead of the viewpoint of corporate business administration. In addition, most studies have dealt with job characteristics and employees' personality factors rather than the process that is connected to actual performance. In other words, the studies on environmental factors that can lead motivation as situational characteristics of the employee's company in a current non-monetary and non-physical way are very insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to comprehensively examine the process of creating creative performance in the environment inside the company that the employee could approach most closely from the corporate deinstitutional perspective. As the major variables, job characteristics and supervisor's ethical leadership were selected, and the process that is connected to the creative performance was explained by means of motivation necessary to understand creativity of the organization and creative process engagement(CPE). The summary of the verification results is following. First, job characteristics and supervisor's attitude(ethical leadership) had positive effects on intrinsic motivation and creativity process engagement. Second, intrinsic motivation and creativity process engagement had positive effects on creative performance. Pumasi and Cooperative Child Care Sharing have had positive results among participants and show possibilities of spreading out to the community in general. However, performance was not proved where it is clarified, and the experience of 23 local Healthy Family Support Centers have that ran the demonstration project were unable to be collected. It is the point of time when the initial backing up is important but the centers do not have the systematic support. Therefore, this research presents an effective management plan through qualitative research involving Pumasi participants and person in charge. The operation strategies by the stage of the project were as follows: First, in the beginning stage, the person in charge establishes the target and vision of the project. Second, when comprising the Pumasi team, it was necessary to consider their characteristics according to the team organization subjects. Third, it is necessary to extend the turn-off time and provide many programs so that the various populations can participate. Fourth, in the advertising step, word of mouth and individual contact needs to be utilized. Fifth, in a medium or small city or an urban-rural complex area, the person in charge should support the participants' Pumasi activities. Sixth, various programs such as a passive and active parent education program and Pumasi education program for the leader needs to be provided for the activation of Pumasi activities. Lastly, a cooperative child care sharing location needs to be constructed by the duality system of the base space and outer space. In this location, the inside play space for the children is essential.
The purpose of study was to test the effects of CEO' transformational leadership and learning organization on innovative behavior in the Knowledge-based Service Organization showing the characteristics of convergence service and the moderating role of learning organization between transformational leadership and innovative behavior. For this study, the data were collected from 348 Knowledge-based Service industrial employees in metropolitan area by using structured questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The results showed that both of CEO' transformational leadership and seven learning organization building factors had a positive effect on employees' innovative behavior. And also found out the only four out of the seven learning organization building factors, namely 'Create continuous learning opportunities', 'Promote inquiry and dialogue', 'Encourage collaboration and team learning', 'Provide strategic leadership for learning' had the moderate roles between CEO's transformational leadership and employees' innovative behavior. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed and the directions for future research were presented.

A high-precision force-feedback 3-axes accelerometer developed in Korea has been investigated and studied for the verification of feasibility in the computational analysis and health monitoring of civil infrastructures. Through a series of experiment, the nonlinearity, bandwidth, low-frequency signal measurement accuracy and bias characteristics of the accelerometer has been thoroughly compared to those of two accelerometers produced by two market leaders in domestic and global accelerometer market. The experiment results shows that the overall measurement performance of the accelerometer has superiority over the performance of the two accelerometers from global market leader companies. Especially, the accelerometer shows a better low-frequency signal measurement accuracy and constant bias characteristic, which are mostly required in the computational analysis and the long-term health monitoring of large-scale civil infrastructures.
The purpose of this study was to understand the character of career attitude according to the group type which was identified and measured by Q methodology. The subjects were 38 junior students attending hotel & food service culinary management at Kyungnam College of Information & Technology. For the study, 88 variances of Lee's career attitude were used. In the career attitude items, 26 variances of career attitude were selected by factor analysis. The 26 variances explained 70.44% of all variances. Twenty-six variances were used on Q sorting from which 9 group types were identified by SPSS window program, and these 9 occupied 75.627%n of all variance. The groups were classified into two parts extroversion and introversion. Four groups(1, 3, 6, and 9) were identified as extroversion, and 5 groups(2, 4, 5, 7, and 8) as introversion. Group 1 was explained 10.270% of all groups, group 2(14.352%), group 3(10.270%), group 4(7.527%), group 5(6.314%), group 6(5.726%), group 7(5.469%), group 8(5.006%), and group 9(4.145%). Group 1 was named as "active challenge type", group 2 as "passive consideration type", group 3 as "realistic leader type", group 4 as "conservative challenge oriented type", group 5 as "conservative harmony type", group 6 as "arbitrary plan oriented type", group 7 as "realistic stability type", group 8 as "conservative creation type" and group 9 as "conservative reality type".
In Korea, a movement for forming intentional communities is gathering people's interests to improve individualistic living environment, and to create a humanistic lifestyle. However, it is difficult to say if its management is successful or not, because intentional community is just in the experimental stage in Korea. The purpose of this study is to identify actual condition of residents' participation in forming process, shared activities in their daily lives, residents' regulation, common facilities and its management in order to offer basic information for revitalization of intentional communities in Korea. 7 intentional communities including eco-friendly villages, religious communities and a cooperative housing community were collected as the study objects. Upon analysis, those communities were divided into two groups according to their purpose of establishment; "HC (Housing-life focused Community includes cooperative housing community and eco-friendly community)" and "IC (Ideology focused Community includes ideology community and religious community)" in order to identify difference in residents' participation between the two groups. In-dept interviews with representatives of 7 intentional communities by a structured questionnaire were used as study method. The findings of this study are as follows; In general, more active residents' participation is identified in ICs than in HCs. There is no common house, which is considered as essential in intentional community, in HCs, while it was facilitated in all ICs. Role of leader seems more important in ICs than in HCs. About the ownership of housing and land, private owned is common in HCs, while community owned is common in ICs. Shared activities and residents' regulations are evidently less in most HCs than in ICs. Furthermore, in order to run a community sustainable, it is crucial to encourage sense of community among residents, and developing common house and activity programs. Common house design, which can promote proactive residents' participation in shared activity should be studied fitted to Korean circumstances. Above all, proactive participation in the shared activities is one of the most important factors in intentional community.
Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the related factors of clinical practice satisfaction and social support in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 420 dental hygiene students in Gwangju and Jeonnam from March 8 to April 8, 2014. Except 26 incomplete answers, 394 data were analyzed. The instrument consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(7 questions), social support(7 questions), and satisfaction level with clinical practice(22 questions). The instrument for satisfaction level with clinical practice included self-esteem(1 question), interest and usefulness(2 questions), knowledge application(1 question), place of clinical practice(1 question), and influence by practice leader(1 question). Cronbach alpha was 0.773 in the study. The instrument of social support was adapted from Park and reconstructed. Social support included emotional support(11 questions), self-esteem support(7 questions), and informative support(4 questions). Social support was score by Likert 5 scale and higher score showed the higher social support. Results: The dental hygiene students got a mean of $3.11{\pm}0.55$ in clinical practice satisfaction. They got 3.35 points in satisfaction with major and 3.32 in satisfaction with curricula(p<0.001). They got a mean of $3.68{\pm}0.55$ in social support. They got $3.69{\pm}0.57$ in emotional support; $3.81{\pm}0.59$ in self-esteem support; and $3.53{\pm}0.66$ in informative support. The influencing variables on satisfaction with clinical practice were self-esteem support(B=0.202), satisfaction with major(B=0.234), and satisfaction with curricula (B=0.128). Conclusions: There was a close relationship between satisfaction with clinical practice and social support. In order to enhance the satisfaction with clinical practice, it is necessary to connect self-esteem support with major satisfaction and curricula satisfaction.
China, a leader of regional economies in North-East Asia, helps to integrate a single shipping market and affects diversely main ports in the region through affecting the flows of container transshipment, strategies of shipping companies for port calling and shipping networks. This study examines competition and cooperation among the hub ports in the region through studying examples of the three Chinese hub ports -Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tianjin- and concludes some implications of status change of hub ports in the region after scrutinising development process of the Chinese main hub ports and the historic interaction of port development among these ports. The characteristics of growth pattern of three ports are as follows. The port of Hong Kong constructs step by step the container facilities in accordance with demand growth and prefers stabilisation of operation and management through scale enlargement of port facilities. Even though demand grows continually, the port of Shanghai continued its defensive attitude towards facility expansion till the 1990s and has tried to get economies of scale in enlargement of port facilities. The port of Tianjin, similarly as the two other ports, expands serially its facilities and utilizes the capacity concentration and functional specialisation of facilities. The analysis of panel data and panel regression of three hub ports implicates that each port has its own specific demand and shows that the interaction of container handling among three ports was weak in 1980s and has become stricter and stronger since 1990.
