  • We study the value distribution theory of L-functions and completely resolve a question from Yang [10]. This question is related to L-functions sharing three finite values with meromorphic functions. The main result in this paper extends corresponding results from Li [10].

  • In this paper, we establish an asymptotic formula for mean value of $L^{(k)}({\frac{1}{2}},\;{\chi}_P)$ averaging over ℙ2g+1 and over ℙ2g+2 as g → ∞ in odd characteristic. We also give an asymptotic formula for mean value of $L^{(k)}({\frac{1}{2}},\;{\chi}_u)$ averaging over 𝓘g+1 and over 𝓕g+1 as g → ∞ in even characteristic.

  • We introduce the notion of (L, e)-filters with fuzzy partially order e on complete residuated lattice L. We investigate (L, e)-filters induced by the family of (L, e)-filters and functions. In fact, we study the initial and final structures for the family of (L, e)-filters and functions. From this result, we define the product and co-product for the family of (L, e)-filters and functions.

  • In this series, we investigate the calculation of mean values of derivatives of Dirichlet L-functions in function fields using the analogue of the approximate functional equation and the Riemann Hypothesis for curves over finite fields. The present paper generalizes the results obtained in the first paper. For µ ≥ 1 an integer, we compute the mean value of the µ-th derivative of quadratic Dirichlet L-functions over the rational function field. We obtain the full polynomial in the asymptotic formulae for these mean values where we can see the arithmetic dependence of the lower order terms that appears in the asymptotic expansion.

  • This paper presents the design method for multivalued logic functions using $I^2L$ circuits. First, the a비orithm that transforms delta functions into discrete functions of a truncated difference is obtained. The realization of multivalued logic circuits by this algorithm is discussed. And then, the design method is achieved by mixing discrete functions and delta functions using the modified algorithm for given multivalued truth tables. The techniques discussed here are easily extended to multi-input and multi-output logic circuits.

  • A local alignment algorithm does comparing two strings and finding a substring pair with size l and similarity s. To find a pair with both sufficient size and high similarity, existing normalization approaches maximize the ratio of the similarity to the size. In this paper, we introduce normalization by functions that maximizes f(s)/g(l), where f and g are non-decreasing functions. These functions, f and g, are determined by experiments comparing DNA sequences. In the experiments, our normalization by functions finds appropriate local alignments. For the previous algorithm, which evaluates the similarity by using the longest common subsequence, we show that the algorithm can also maximize the score normalized by functions, f(s)/g(l) without loss of time.

  • In 1981, R . Badard introduced the notion of fuzzy pretopological spaces and their representation[1]. And in 1992, R. Badard, et al. introduced the L-fuzzy pretopological spaces and studied properties of continuity, open map, closed map, and homeomorphism in L-fuzzy pretopological spaces. In this paper we introduce and study the concepts of almost continuous functions and weakly pre-continuous functions on L-fpts's.(omitted)
