The purpose of this study was to explore the trends and core keywords of the secondary school home economics teacher selection test using content analysis and text network analysis. The sample comprised texts of the secondary school home economics teacher 1st selection test for the 2017-2022 school years. Determination of frequency of occurrence, generation of word clouds, centrality analysis, and topic modeling were performed using NetMiner 4.4. The key results were as follows. First, content analysis revealed that the number of questions and scores for each subject (field) has remained constant since 2020, unlike before 2020. In terms of subjects, most questions focused on 'theory of home economics education', and among the evaluation content elements, the highest percentage of questions asked was for 'home economics teaching·learning methods and practice'. Second, the network of the secondary school home economics teacher selection test covering the 2017-2022 school years has an extremely weak density. For the 2017-2019 school years, 'learning', 'evaluation', 'instruction', and 'method' appeared as important keywords, and 7 topics were extracted. For the 2020-2022 school years, 'evaluation', 'class', 'learning', 'cycle', and 'model' were influential keywords, and five topics were extracted. This study is meaningful in that it attempted a new research method combining content analysis and text network analysis and prepared basic data for the revision of the evaluation area and evaluation content elements of the secondary school home economics teacher selection test.

본 연구는 실천적 추론 가정과 수업이 가정 교과 인식을 변화시키는 데 효과가 있는지 알아보는 데 목적을 두었다. 가정교과에 대한 인식은 Thomas(1986)가 분류한 시대에 따른 여섯 가지의 견해, 즉 전통적 여성역할, 수공훈련, 과학지식의 응용, 가족관리, 가족발달, 어려움에 처해 있는 집단을 도와주는 교육으로서의 견해를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 "실천적 추론 가정과 수업은 중학생의 가정교과에 대한 인식을 변화시키는데 효과가 있는가?"의 연구문제를 다루기 위하여 독립변수는 수업방식(실험집단은 실천적 추론 수업 비교집단은 교과서 위주의 수업), 종속변수는 가정교과에 대한 인식으로 하여 의사실험 연구를 수행하였다. 광주광역시에 소재하는 중학교 2학년 학생 137명을 대상으로 실험집단에서는 '실천적 추론 수업'을, 비교집단에서는 '일반적인 가정과 교과서를 위주로 한 수업'을 각각 10차시씩 진행하였다. 집단의 사전 사후 차이를 알아보기 위해서 실시한 대응표본 t-test 결과 실천적 추론 가정과 수업은 가정과교과에 대한 인식 가운데 수공 훈련을 강조하는 교과라는 인식을 감소시켰고, 어려움에 처해 있는 집단을 도와주는 교과라는 인식을 향상시켰다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해서 실천적 추론 수업은 가정교과를 전근대적 교육으로 생각하는 사회적 인식을 획기적으로 변화시킬 수 있는 좋은 수업이라 사료된다 또한 현재의 제 7차 교육과정을 토대로 개발된 가정 교과서를 중심으로 수업을 한다고 해도 가정교과를 가족관리나 가족발달을 강조하는 교과로 인식시킬 수 있어 앞으로 가정교과에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 기대할 수 있다.

이 탐색적 연구는 문헌고찰에 의한 내용분석 방법을 적용하여 학교폭력 예방을 위한 우리 교육 및 가정과교육의 역할과 임무 수행의 타당성을 주장할 수 있는 논리를 개발하려는 데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 그 결과 우리 교육 및 가정과교육이 학교 폭력 예방을 위해 접근할 수 있는 세가지의 논리가 개발되었다. 첫째, 우리 교육에서 청소년을 학습자라는 소극적 관점으로 제한하지 말고 '생활인'이란 보다 적극적인 관점으로 변화시킨다. 둘째, 우리 교육의 목적의 하나였으나 그 가치가 폄하되어 온 생활역량을 교육의 중요한 가치로 강화한다. 생활역량은 저절로 자연스럽게 경험을 통하여 습득되는 자질이 아니다. 현재 문제가 되고 있는 학교폭력 문제는 학습자가 아닌 생활인으로서 청소년이 나타내는 문제이므로 생활역량을 강화하는 교육과정으로 교육을 개혁하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 전통적으로 생활인으로서의 다양한 역량 개발에 교과교육의 목적을 두어 온 대표적인 교과는 가정교과이다. 따라서 가정과교육은 우리 교육 전체에서 학교폭력을 예방하는데 가장 중요한 임무를 수행할 수 있는 교과이다. 생활교과로서의 가정교과는 청소년이 당면한 다양한 생활의 문제 해결을 지원하며, 적응을 넘어서서 삶의 질과 행복한 삶을 성취하는데 필요한 역량을 갖추도록 하는데 그 본질을 가지고 있다.

The purpose of the study were to: (1) determine important home management concepts in the secondary home economics education curriculum,(2) identify the educational needs related to home management perceived by secondary school students, and the factors affecting it, (3) use the findings to make recommendations for developing home economics curriculum and teaching home economics in the secondary school. The questionnaires were distributed to the 1,029 secondary school students, lived in seoul, local cities, and rural area. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, T-test one ay ANOVA with scheffe test, and multiple regression analysis. Forty home management concepts were selected based on the related literatures. Stress man-agement, leisure time activities, resource use, making money for adolescents, work simplication methods were the concepts which showed the highest level of educational needs perceived by the students. The educational needs were affected by sex, school level, residence area of the respondents, and other factors related to the perception about home economics such as preference, GPA, etc.

This study collects and analyzes data on educational philosophy and method for domestic and overseas alternative schools. This information is then applied to educational purpose and curriculum for a home economics curriculum that develops unique characteristics for Korean alternative education.This study collected and analyzed the characteristics of educational content and educational elements from two renowned alternative schools: Waldorf School in Germany and Summer Hill in the United Kingdom. The research results were as follows. First, it is necessary to create new word instead of using the term 'alternative education'. Second, among characteristics of Korean home economics curriculum, 'practical problem-solving ability', 'independent living ability', and 'relation forming ability' should be utilized to create a school with an independent curriculum and to establish a unique brand value. Third, time investment on instructor education should be made to cultivate competent and charming instructors as the center of a school. Lastly, school education should manage student's life at school and after graduation. The school and instructor should provide alternative education while thinking they are responsible for 50 years of a student's future life. This study helps show that alternative education is not perceived as a superficial and generalized education and that Korean alternative education can find similar characteristic to those of overseas cases.

The purpose of this study was quantitative and qualitative contents analysis of food and nutrition section in middle school textbooks of home economics, physical education and science. As a quantitative approach numbers of sentence lines tables, figures, photos, activities, and exercises were counted. As a qualitative approach, types of explanations were categorized by 7 criteria, and commons and differences of the contents of those subjects were compared. The conclusions of this study were summarized as follows: 1) Contents of food and nutrition section were divided into nutrients. water. energy, food groups, and nutritional problems. When average sentence lines of each were compared, those of nutrients were the longest in all 3 subjects. 2) When compared the numbers of tables, figures, and photos in 3 subjects of textbooks, there were more figures in home economics and science, and more tables in physical education. 3) There were more activities and exercises in home economics an science than in physical education. 4) The D(sentences with table) or E type(sentences with figure) was adapted for the explanation of nutrients functions, recommended dietary allowance, food sources, food groups, eating habits, and weight control in home economics: nutritions functions and energy metabolism in physical education : and digestion, body constituents, energy metabolism, and detection of nutrients in science. 5) Contents about classification and functions of nutrients. food sources deficiency water, energy contents of nutrients and obesity were shown in all 3 subjects. Food groups and eating habits were explained in detail in home economics whereas digestion of nutrients in the digestive tracts were explained in detail in science. Recommended dietary allowance for Koreans and basic food groups revised in 1995 were presented in home economics, whereas those revised in 1989 were presented in physical education. To avoid confusion, recommended dietary allowance for Koreans and food groups presented in physical education tex should be updated.

The objective of this study is to analyze the scope and depth of financial education currently delivered through three subjects in middle and high schools in South Korea. In order to systematically achieve the research objective, this study analyzed the textbooks to see how much coverage each topic received based upon the Finance Education Standards developed by the Financial Supervisory Service and the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation in 2011. In particular, this study used textbooks of three subjects such as Technology Home Economics, Social Studies, and Economics. Finally, this study discussed several implications for financial educators for teenagers and policy makers.

본 연구는 자유학기제 시행에 따라 실과(기술 가정)에서 진로교육의 활성화 방안으로서 가정교과통합에 따른 진로교육의 타당성과 방향을 탐색하고 이를 활성화하기 위한 진로교육 방향 및 모형을 제시하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 자유학기제의 의미와 동향, 교과통합 진로교육의 동향과 실과(기술 가정)에서 교육과정 분석 및 가정과교육에서의 진로교육 연구의 동향을 탐색하였다. 이를 통해 발견하게 된 것은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자유학기제의 의미의 모호성에도 불구하고 생애 전반에 걸친 진로교육의 중요성에 대한 요구가 증가함으로 진로교육은 확대되어 갈 것이라는 것이다. 둘째, 교과를 배제한 진로교육은 실효성에 문제가 있으므로, 교과를 중심으로 한 진로교육인 교과통합 진로교육의 중요성이 더 중요해질 것이라는 것이다. 셋째, 핵심 성취기준에 따라 실과(기술 가정)에서의 교과통합 진로교육에서의 핵심성취기준을 추출하는 것이 중요함을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 자유학기제에서의 가정교과의 진로교육 방향 및 모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 제한점은 자유학기제의 개념의 모호성에 따른 실천의 모호성의 문제를 제기하고 이를 해결하기 위한 교수 학습 과정 모형을 학교 현장에 적용하지 못하여 그 실효성을 확인하지 못했다는 점이다. 그러나 본 연구는 자유학기제의 실행에 앞서 교과 내에서의 진로교육 활성화 방안을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있을 것이다.

For the solution of population problem, a population education is urgently need since family member size(that is population size) will be on the decrease fro the reason of changes in family consciousness by population education. The population education should be carried out interdisciplinary, but, above all, home economics is more suitable to the population education. In this study, the issues are the contents of population education in relation to family relations of home economics. Those contents are as follows: 1. A change in family consciousness through the relationship between husband and wife 1) Conventional relationship 2) Current relationship 3) Effects of children on the relationship of husband and wife By the above contents of population education in the field of family relations of home economics parents will have their deliberate plans and aims.
