성인 남성 직장인의 AIDS 관련 지식, 태도 및 보건교육 요구도 조사 -서울, 경기 일부 지역을 중심으로- (AIDS-related Knowledge, Attitudes and AIDS-Education Needs of Male Workers in Seoul and Kyungki areas)

  • AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) known as 20th century's pest is spreading rapidly internationally, and the number of patients are increasing. Since the prevention vaccine has not been developed yet, the only available effective method for preventing AIDS is the health education. Most of the AIDS-infected persons are males, and especially over twenties of age. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the knowledge and attitudes on AIDS of male workers. The purpose of this study is to examine the knowledge, attitudes and education-needs of male workers on AIDS. The data were collected by a questionnaire survey of 977 workers who work in Seoul and Kyungki areas from September 1 thru October 4, 1997. The results were as follows: 1. We examined the level of knowledge on AIDS transmission, symptoms, diagnoses, and prevention methods. Even though respondents had a moderate level of AIDS-related knowledge, still sizable numbers believed that AIDS could be transmitted through casual contact. White-collar workers, higher education groups, higher income groups or those with age thirties showed respectively higher level of knowledge than the other comparison groups. 2. 85% of the respondents recognized AIDS as a serious problem. Statistical analysis revealed that white-collar workers, higher education groups or those with age twenties had more positive attitudes towards a AIDS patient than their counterparts. 3. Over 80% of the respondents replied that AIDS education in schools, work places, social agencies or by mass-media was necessary. 62.8% of the respondents mentioned that government should play the major role in developing AIDS education program. 4. The prediction model of AIDS-education needs was examined with using the multiple logistic regression method. The education level and AIDS-related knowledge were turned to be statistically significant factors influencing positively the perceived needs of AIDS education.

Influence of individual emotions on intention to share knowledge in competitive online advice communities

  • This study proposed that a relationship exists between individual emotions and knowledge sharing (KS) intentions in competitive online advice communities. Through statistical analysis of 220 valid questionnaires collected from qualified community members, we found that individuals' intentions to contribute knowledge were enhanced by playfulness and reciprocity, while their intention to seek knowledge from others was facilitated significantly by needs fulfillment, sense of competition, and playfulness. In addition, we found that playfulness was a common factor that affected the intention to seek, as well as to contribute, knowledge. Specifically, playfulness was a highly significant individual emotion that affected both individuals' intention to contribute and seek knowledge, while reciprocity was significant primarily in individuals' intentions to contribute knowledge. Needs fulfillment and sense of competition were significant emotions that affected primarily individuals' intentions to seek knowledge. Interestingly, the factors that affected the intention to seek knowledge were consistent both in all participants and in the high-level fear group. However, in the low-level fear group, playfulness influenced KS intentions.

유아교육 현장에서의 어머니의 부모교육 요구도에 관한 연구 (Need Assessment of Kindergarten Mother for Parent Education)

  • This study investigated (1) present modes of parent education in the kindergartens, (2) mother's level of and need for knowledge about child development, child rearing and related areas, and (3) the variables that related to mothers' needs in these areas. The subjects of this study were 80 teachers and 674 mothers of 21 kindergartens in Seoul. The instruments were two questionnaires on a 4-point scale. The questionnair for mothers was composed of 86 items, and that for teachers was of 14 items. The data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression. The results showed that (1) The most common type of parent education was techer-parent conference and newsletter. The contents and methods of parent education was mainly decided by the directors in consulation with teachers. (2) Among the six general areas, mothers had most knowledge abut modification of child behavior, but their most felt needs was knowledge about child development (3) Need assessment based on item analysis revealed, in descending order, felt needs for knowledge about creative development, observation techniques, social developement, saftey and first-aid, and ways to stimulate educational motivation. (4) The variables that predicted mothers' felt needs were the birth order of the child, mother's experience in parent education, family cohesion, adaptability and communication.

대학생의 치매에 대한 지식, 태도 및 교육요구도 분석 (Analysis of Knowledge, Attitude, and Educational Needs toward Dementia in University Student)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 치매에 대한 지식, 태도, 교육요구도를 알아보고 이들의 관계를 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 146명의 대학생을 모집하였고 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Person's Correlation 등의 방법으로 분석하였다. 치매에 대한 지식정답률은 79.6%이었고, 태도는 평균 3.74점, 교육요구도는 평균 4.02점으로 나타났다. 지식과 태도 간(r=.23, p=.005), 태도와 교육요구도 간(r=.61, p<.001)에 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 교육요구도는 기본적 일상생활동작에 대한 요구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 치매에 대한 정확한 지식을 향상시키고 긍정적인 태도확립을 위한 노력이 필요하다. 연구에서 밝혀진 구체적인 교육요구도는 향후 대학생을 위한 맞춤형 교육프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

치위생(학)과 학생의 치매에 대한 지식 및 태도와 교육요구도 (Knowledge, attitudes, and the educational needs on dementia for the students of dental hygiene department)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to contribute to develope dental health intervention standard curriculum for dementia patients by identifying the extent of knowledge, attitudes and educational needs toward dementia in the dental hygiene department students. Methods: The study was conducted in the students of the dental hygiene department in colleges and universities, nationwide (from the first year students to the 3rd or 4th year students) for approximately 2 months from March to April, 2018. Among them, 545 students were selected as the subjects for the final analysis. Results: 91.0% of the subjects were not currently receiving education on dementia. The research on the factors to impact the dementia education needs of the subjects showed that the dementia education necessity (p<0.001) and the dementia attitude (p<0.001) had statistically significant effects on the educational needs on dementia. Conclusions: It is considered that the standard education curriculum for the dental health intervention for dementia patients in the department of dental hygiene should be developed and disseminated. This will provide a basis for the dental hygienists to be equipped with the relevant expertise in the intervention in the dental health of dementia patients in the future.

간호대학생의 환자안전관리에 관한 지식과 태도 및 수행자신감이 교육요구도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Knowledge, Attitude, and Confidence on Education Needs of Nursing Students for Patient Safety Management)

  • Purpose: The study examined the effects of knowledge, attitude, and confidence on the education needs of nursing students with respect to patient safety management. The participants were 119 students from nursing college. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA), Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: The student's educational needs with respect to patient safety management differed significantly by experience of patient safety accidents (p=.026) and experience of reporting medical errors (p<.001). Additionally, the educational needs with respect to patient safety management were found to have statistically significant positive relationships with both attitude (r=.39) and confidence (r=.37). Further, a total of 23% of the education needs with regard to patient safety management were explained by attitude and confidence. Conclusion: These results can be used to develop nursing students' education programs to enhance patient safety management competence be emphasizing the experience of patient safety accidents and reporting medical errors as well as improving the attitude and confidence of the students.

현대 박물관건축 전시공간의 환경구성방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Environmental Organization within the Exhibition Space of the Contemporary Museum)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the characteristics of the exhibition space planning methodology as 'Spatialization of Knowledge' through analyzation of the spatial structure in the contemporary museum architecture. The result of this study is expected to apply in designing an exhibition space and may become a target point. Further more this study can result a museum design to assist actual museum to fully function and play a role as a service facility for users by containing broad knowledge and fair understanding of user's needs in museum planning. Basic survey of museum architecture history will help visualizing conceptual structure of the museum exhibition and the 'Space Syntax' method has been used to make this conceptual data more objective. This study found that the contemporary museums most likely to include in its planning the various spatial organization in order to convey knowledge. The result reflects the needs of modern society which shows the design accepting individuality in society with variety of needs. And this also explains that museum space organization has to reflect various ways or methods of conveying knowledge. In addition, users have tendency to prefer more open space organization for easy access and approach in exhibition environment. It is clear to see the change in today's viewing pattern that the users prefer flexible exhibition space where they can be more proactive in receiving knowledge by following their own circulation over architecturally constrained circulation pattern within the exhibition area.

일부 대학생들의 성에 대한 지식 및 성교육 요구 (Knowledge on Sexuality and Needs of Sex Education for College Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to measure the knowledge. Attitude and the needs of sex education for college students in order to provide basic sex education information. Method: For this study, the questionnaires were given to 320 students in the H, D colleage of Daegu and collected during the period from August 25 to October 25, 2003. These results were analyzed statistically by means of, frequency, percentage, t-test, chi-squire test. Result: Female students have a high score of sexual knowledge about genital physiology, sex physiology, V. D. and contraceptive. Both gender in sexual knowledge, male students correctly responded 86.4% form ejaculating sperm from the penis. Females on the other hand correctly responded 96% in the highest score to menstruation blood through out the vagina. Both gender male and female is wished to be co-education in sex education in college at a freshmen level. Sex education should be under by special lecture when education is in progress. Males student want to learn more about V. D. Females in the other hand want to learn a lot about contraceptive. Conclusion: In conclusion college sex education should be basic. knowledgeable and for the future of there on going marriage. It should be responsible in sex education, it should run under regular curriculum in college.
