  • Many fashion designers were inspired by arts. Not only arts itself but also the sprit of the artist links with fashion. This study based on French artist Yves Klein who died in 1962, at the age of 34. Klein created over a thounsand works in only seven years. Among the his various art collections, it is focused on Yves Peintures, I.K.B(International Klein Blue) and Sponge sculpture. The extracted some of core concepts including aesthetic of Klein about color and line, space perception in monochrome and expansion of monochrome toward three dimensional sponge sculptures were transformed into fashion design. As a result, Yves Sweats project, which is T-shirts project based on Yves Peintures, designed as a three-dimentional expansion of Monochrome and it was shown at Fall/Winter 2011-12 Tranoi homme trade show in Paris. Also Yves Klein collection was designed as a ready-to-wear menswear collection that was presented at Fall/Winter 2011-12 Seoul Fashion Week.

  • This article discusses and reviews the mathematics education of F. Klein who had a leading role in the reform movement of mathematics education from the late 19th century. We are mainly investigated the 'Erlanger Antrittsrede' in 1872 that showed Klein's view on early mathematics education and the 'Meraner Lehrplan f$\"{u}$r Mathematik' in 1905 that Widely known, the basis of the curriculum of modern mathematics education. Based on this, We discusses the educational implications-the purpose and methods of mathematics education, teacher education and so on.

  • The main results concern with the self maps on the Klein bottle. We obtain the Reidemeister numbers and the Nielsen numbers for all self maps on the Klein bottle. In terms of the Nielsen numbers of their iterates, we totally determine the minimal sets of periods for all homotopy classes of self maps on the Klein bottle.

  • In this paper, the relativistic Vlasov-Klein-Gordon system in one dimension is investigated. This non-linear dynamics system consists of a transport equation for the distribution function combined with Klein-Gordon equation. Without any assumption of continuity or compact support of any initial particle density $f_0$, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the mild solution via the iteration method.

  • In this article, we study the Klein-Gordon-Maxwell equations arising from a semilocal gauge field model. This model describes the interaction of two complex scalar fields and one gauge field, and generalizes the classical Klein-Gordon equation coupled with the Maxwell electrodynamics. We prove that there exist infinitely many standing wave solutions for p ∈ (2, 6) which are radially symmetric. Here, p comes from the exponent of the potential of scalar fields. We also prove the nonexistence of nontrivial solutions for the critical case p = 6.

  • Felix Klein profoundly influenced mathematical developments throughout the world by showing a new direction for modem geometry. He also influenced the lives of excellent scientists like Einstein by reforming mathematical education. The first Felix Klein medal of the Internal Commission on Mathematical Instruction was awarded at ICME-10 in July of 2004. In this article, we discuss Klein's Erlangen Program and investigate his influence on modem mathematics and mathematical education with this medal as momentum.
