From the study of prescription on low back pain, the following conclusions are obtained. 1. Among classified cause of low back pain, ShinHur(腎虛) lowback pain and its prescription was most mentioned. 2. Prescriptions such as ChungAWhan(靑娥丸), KookBangAnShinWhan(局方安腎丸) BoSooDan(補髓丹) BaekBaeWhan(百倍丸) DooChungWhan(杜沖丸) JangBonDan(壯本丹) NokKakWhan(鹿角丸) were used in ShinHur(腎虛) type low back pain. 3. Prescription such as TaekRanTang(澤蘭湯) JiRyongSan(地龍散) YoeShinSan(如神散) ShinKookJoo(神麴酒) SoeGuenSan(舒筋散) were used in JwaSumJilBak(閃挫跌撲) type low back pain. 4. Prescription such as ChangChulTang(蒼朮湯) JumTongTang(拈痛湯) ChulBuTang(朮附湯) YiChoChangBaekSan(二炒蒼栢散) were used in SeupYoel(濕熱) type low back pain. 5. Prescription such as ChunGoongYookGaeTang(川芎肉桂湯) GaMiSaMulTang(加味四物湯) PaHoelSanDongTang(破血散疼湯) JiRyongSan(地龍散) were used in UhHoel(瘀血) type low back pain. 6. Prescription such as (蒼術復煎散) (五積散) (摩腰丹) (滲濕湯) were used in HanSeup(寒濕) type low back pain. 7. Prescription such as GaMiYiJinTang(加味二陳湯) GongYeonDan(控涎丹) SaMoolTangHapYiJinTangGaMi(四物湯合二陳湯加味) were used in DamUem(痰飮) type low back pain. 8. Prescription such as OhJukSanGaMi(五積散加味) OhYakSoonGiSanGaMi(烏藥順氣散加味) GaMiYongHoSan(加味龍虎散) SoSokMyoungTang(小續命湯) were used in Poong(風) type low back pain. 9. Prescription such as (四物湯合二陳湯) (仰腰湯) were used in SikJuk(食積) type low back pain and (五積散) (煨腎散) (三花神祐丸) in Seup(濕) type low back pain. 10. Prescription such as ChilKiTang(七氣湯) ChimHyangGangKiTang(沈香降氣湯) ChoKiSan(調氣散) InSamSoonKiSan(人參順氣散) were used in Ki(氣) type low back pain.

Ticks can transmit pathogenic bacteria, protozoa, and viruses to humans and animals. In this study, we investigated the microbiomes of Haemaphysalis longicornis according to sex and life stages. The Shannon index was significantly higher for nymphs than adult ticks. Principal coordinates analysis showed that the microbiome composition of female adult and male adult ticks were different. Notably, Coxiella-like bacterium (AB001519), known as a tick symbiont, was found in all nymphs and female adult ticks, but only one out of 4 male adult ticks had Coxiella-like bacterium (AB001519). In addition, Rickettsia rickettsii, Coxiella burnetii, and Anaplasma bovis were detected in this study.

Archaeoentomological investigations were conducted on soil contents from a grave belonging to the Joseon Dynasty as part of the Urban Environment Maintenance Project (UEMP) in Cheongjin 12-16 dong (districts), Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea, from December 01, 2008 to February 19, 2011. A total of 28 insect puparia with hard shells of the common green bottle fly Lucilia sericata were identified in the soil. Evidence suggested that the corpse was placed outside for some days instead of being buried immediately after death. This is the first report of fly puparia in soil samples from a tomb of the Joseon Dynasty during 16-17 AD in Korea. Our findings may help determine the timeframe of burial and offer archaeological insights into the funerary customs of the period.

Many people suffer from various laryngeal diseases. Since we can notice voice change easily, acoustic analysis can be helpful to diagnose the diseases. Several attempts have been made to clarify the relation between the parameters and the state of sick vocal folds but any decisive parameters are not found yet. The purpose of this study was to select and develop those parameters useful for diagnosing and differentiating laryngeal diseases. We examined eight MDVP parameters, and two additional MFCC and LPC parameters obtained from the production of an open vowel by 252 subjects with or without laryngeal diseases. Using a statistical procedure through the artificial neural networks, we attempted to differentiate laryngeal disease groups. Results showed that the LPC parameters indicated the highest differentiating rate by the networks followed by the MFCC and the MDVP parameters. In addition, Jita, Shim and NHR among the MDVP parameters came out better parameters in diagnosing laryngeal diseases.

Influence of annealing temperature on the microstructure and resistance to pitting corrosion of the hyper duplex stainless steel was investigated in acid and neutral chloride environments. The pitting corrosion resistance is strongly dependent on the microstructure, especially the presence of chromium nitrides ($Cr_2N$), elemental partitioning behavior and volume fraction of ferrite phase and austenite phase. Precipitation of deleterious chromium nitrides reduces the resistance to pitting corrosion due to the formation of Cr-depleted zone. The difference of PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) values between the ferrite and austenite phases was the smallest when solution heat-treated at $1060^{\circ}C$. Based on the results of electrochemical tests and critical crevice temperature tests, the optimal annealing temperature is determined as $1060^{\circ}C$.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of supercritical fluid extract of Kamichungbieum (SFE) on immune reaction. SFE did not affect the subpopulation of murine splenocytes and increased the production of interleukin-2 in serum. Also, SFE inhibited the influx of Ca/sup 2+/ into mast cells and the release of histamine from mast cells. Furthermore, SFE decreased the phagocytic activity of murine macrophages, These results indicate that SFE may be useful for the treatment of allergy related disease via inhibition of histamine release from mast cells and decrease of phagocytic activity of murine macrophages.

In recent years, equipment and network standards have been increasing in both number and complexity. Two standards that will soon be introduced to KOREA are the HV standards for assessing distorting and fluctuating loads, IEC 61000-3-6. Utility engineers, being under increasing time constraints, are turning more and more to software to quickly solve problems. This paper describes the methodology used to implement the above standards in Microsoft Excel in order to assist utility engineers to readily apply these standards in practical situations.

We report on comparative results obtained from harmonically mode-locked laser operations of ring-type and figure-of-eight(F8) type erbium-doped fiber lasers by using a directional-coupler type electro-optic modulator as an active mode-locker. The mode-locked and transform-limited pulses of 10.6 ps width were obtained at harmonics of the fundamental cavity frequency with the F8 type laser while mode-locked laser pulses greater than 15 ps were achieved with the ring type laser.

Recently, so that HSC can secure the fire resistance properties at the time of a fire in super tall building suggested method of combined fiber. Thus, there is the purpose to develop the high fireproof concrete which applied method of combined fiber which can satisfy flowability and the fire resistance properties of HSC for construction of the super tall building.
