  • According to the development of marine transportation business and the modernization and over sizing of vessel transportation equipment. shipping equipment used in the terminal are getting more atomized and speedier. thus the efficiency of shipping and discharging depends upon the degree of practice of terminal operating manpower. It means that cultivation of experts in this field is essentially needed and it is becoming a serious problem to guarantee the training programs to provide high-class. high-skilled manpower. The best result can be expected when we use the real equipment for training purposes. but it will cause many difficulties such as budget problem. To overcome this situation. we developed the Virtual Container Crane Simulator(VCCS System) which enables the operator to learn the operation of the equipment as well as safety problems within a short time. VCCS system begins with establishing the direction of operation by setting the appropriate motions for each step. and then it instructs the basic operation. It enhances the driver's ability to cope with accidents during operation and completes and completes the mastery of operating techniques with The repetition of practice.

  • In [4], J. Leray introduced the notion of partial hyperbolicity to characterize the operators for which the non-characteristic Cauchy problem is solvable in the Geverey class for any data which are holomorphic in a part of variables x"=(x$_{2}$,..,x$_{l}$ ) in the initial hyperplane x$_{1}$=0. A linear partial differential operator is called partially hyperbolic modulo the linear subvarieties S:x"=constant if the equation P$_{m}$(x, .zeta.$_{1}$, .xi.')=0 for .zeta.$_{1}$ has only real roots when .xi.'is real and .xi."=0, where P$_{m}$ is the principal symbol of pp. Limiting to the case of operators with constant coefficients, A. Kaneko proposed a new sharper condition when S is a hyperplane [3]. In this paper, we generalize this condition to the case of general linear subvariety S and show that it is sufficient for the solvability of Cauchy problem for the hyperfunction Cauchy data which contains variables parallel to S as holomorphic parameters.blem for the hyperfunction Cauchy data which contains variables parallel to S as holomorphic parameters.

  • Edge detection is the first step and very important step in image analysis. We cast edge detection as a problem in cost minimization. This is achieved by the formulation of a cost function that evaluates the quality of edge configurations. The cost function can be used as a basis for comparing the performances of different detectors. This cost function is made of desirable characteristics of edges such as thickness, continuity, length, region dissimilarity. And we use a simulated annealing algorithm for minimum of cost function. Simulated annealing are a class of adaptive search techniques that have been intensively studied in recent years. We present five strategies for generating candidate states. Experimental results(building image and test image) which verify the usefulness of our simulated annealing approach to edge detection are better than other operator.

  • We study some spectral properties of Volterra-type integral operators $V_g$ and $I_g$ with holomorphic symbol g on the Fock-Sobolev spaces ${\mathcal{F}}^p_{{\psi}m}$. We showed that $V_g$ is bounded on ${\mathcal{F}}^p_{{\psi}m}$ if and only if g is a complex polynomial of degree not exceeding two, while compactness of $V_g$ is described by degree of g being not bigger than one. We also identified all those positive numbers p for which the operator $V_g$ belongs to the Schatten $S_p$ classes. Finally, we characterize the spectrum of $V_g$ in terms of a closed disk of radius twice the coefficient of the highest degree term in a polynomial expansion of g.

  • This paper deals with the existence and energy estimates of solutions for a class of degenerate nonlocal problems involving sub-linear nonlinearities, while the nonlinear part of the problem admits some hypotheses on the behavior at origin or perturbation property. In particular, for a precise localization of the parameter, the existence of a non-zero solution is established requiring the sublinearity of nonlinear part at origin and infinity. We also consider the existence of solutions for our problem under algebraic conditions with the classical Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz. In what follows, by combining two algebraic conditions on the nonlinear term which guarantees the existence of two solutions as well as applying the mountain pass theorem given by Pucci and Serrin, we establish the existence of the third solution for our problem. Moreover, concrete examples of applications are provided.

  • For a nonautonomous dynamics defined by a sequence of bounded linear operators on a Banach space, we give a characterization of the existence of an exponential dichotomy with respect to a sequence of norms in terms of the invertibility of a certain linear operator between general admissible spaces. This notion of an exponential dichotomy contains as very special cases the notions of uniform, nonuniform and tempered exponential dichotomies. As applications, we detail the consequences of our results for the class of tempered exponential dichotomies, which are ubiquitous in the context of ergodic theory, and we show that the notion of an exponential dichotomy under sufficiently small parameterized perturbations persists and that their stable and unstable spaces are as regular as the perturbation.

  • We are concerned with the following elliptic equations: $$(-{\Delta})^s_pu+V (x){\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u={\lambda}g(x,u){\text{ in }}{\mathbb{R}}^N$$, where $(-{\Delta})_p^s$ is the fractional p-Laplacian operator with 0 < s < 1 < p < $+{\infty}$, sp < N, the potential function $V:{\mathbb{R}}^N{\rightarrow}(0,{\infty})$ is a continuous potential function, and $g:{\mathbb{R}}^N{\times}{\mathbb{R}}{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}$ satisfies a $Carath{\acute{e}}odory$ condition. We show the existence of at least one weak solution for the problem above without the Ambrosetti and Rabinowitz condition. Moreover, we give a positive interval of the parameter ${\lambda}$ for which the problem admits at least one nontrivial weak solution when the nonlinearity g has the subcritical growth condition.

  • To prevent pollution from ships, the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) is a mandatory guideline for all new ships. The Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) has also been applied by MARPOL to all existing ships. SEEMP provides the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI) for monitoring the operational efficiency of a ship. By monitoring the EEOI, the shipowner or operator can establish strategic plans, such as routing, hull cleaning, decommissioning, new building, etc. The key parameter in calculating EEOI is Fuel Oil Consumption (FOC). It can be measured on board while a ship is operating. This means that only the shipowner or operator can calculate the EEOI of their own ships. If the EEOI can be calculated without the actual FOC, however, then the other stakeholders, such as the shipbuilding company and Class, or others who don't have the measured FOC, can check how efficiently their ships are operating compared to other ships. In this study, we propose a method to estimate the EEOI without requiring the actual FOC. The Automatic Identification System (AIS) data, ship static data, and environment data that can be publicly obtained are used to calculate the EEOI. Since the public data are of large capacity, big data technologies, specifically Hadoop and Spark, are used. We verify the proposed method using actual data, and the result shows that the proposed method can estimate EEOI from public data without actual FOC.
