고위험 신생아간호에 관한 시뮬레이션 실습과 신생아집중치료실 실습의 스트레스와 만족도 (Stress and Satisfaction from Simulation-based Practice and Clinical Practice on High-risk Newborn Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare practice stress and practice satisfaction between clinical practice and simulation-based practice groups. Methods: A total of 159 nursing students (85 in the simulation group and 74 in the NICU group) participated in the study. Research tools measuring practice stress and practice satisfaction were used. Data was analyzed utilizing a t-test, Mann Whitney U-test, and descriptive statistics. Results: The simulation group showed a lower level of practice stress(practice instruction, practice evaluation, interpersonal relationship) a higher level of practice satisfaction compared with the NICU group. Conclusion: Simulation-based practice is an effective learning method for high-risk newborn nursing and can be used as an alternative to clinical practice.

대학생들의 스트레스와 구강악습관과의 연관성에 관한 융합 연구 (Convergence Study on the Relationship between Stress and Oral Habits in College Students)

  • 일부 대학생들의 스트레스 주요인을 파악하고 구강악습관의 관계를 알아보기 위해 충청남도 아산시에 위치한 S대학교에 재학 중인 남 녀 대학생 299명을 대상으로 스트레스 관련문항과 악습관 관련문항으로 나누어 설문지 조사를 진행하였다. 대학생들이 가지고 있는 스트레스 요인 별 항목을 융합 연구한 결과 스트레스 원인 중 건강 대인관계는 구강악습관 점수와 통계적으로 유의한 관련성이 나타났다. 이상의 연구를 통해 대학생의 스트레스로 인한 구강악습관 발생률이 높다는 것을 알 수 있었으며 대학생활 동안 발생되는 스트레스의 요인들을 완전히 배제할 수 없다는 점을 고려해볼 때 스트레스 자가 인식법, 조절법 및 악습관 개선에 관한 교육틀이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

중·고등학교 보건관련교사와 비보건관련교사의 건강증진생활양식 (Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile of the Teachers of Health-related Disciplines and Not-health-related Disciplines in Middle and High School)

  • A survey was done to figure out the HPLP(health promotion lifestyle profile) of the teachers of health-related disciplines and not-health-related disciplines. 205 teachers in middle and high school were surveyed from 4th February to 2nd April 2003. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The HPLP score of the teachers of health-related disciplines (mean $2.73{\pm}0.44$) was higher than that of the teachers of not-health-related disciplines (mean $2.48{\pm}0.40$). Sub category's mean of the teachers of health-related disciplines was self-realization 2.99, interpersonal-relationship 2.92, health responsibility 2.65, nutrition 2.64, stress management 2.52, exercise 2.27 and that of the teachers of not-health-related disciplines was self-realization 2.84, interpersonal-relationship 2.70, health responsibility 2.24, nutrition 2.39, stress management 2.23, exercise 1.98. 2. When HPLP score were examined according to demographic characteristics, health status and self-efficacy, the results showed that of the teachers of health-related disciplines was higher than that of the teachers of not-health-related disciplines. 3. Gender, degree of grief and depression, and self-efficacy have statistically significant effect on the HPLP score of the teachers of health-related disciplines, and subjective health status, concern about health, degree of stress, and self-efficacy were significant on that of the teachers of not-health-related disciplines. This results were indicated the teachers of health-related disciplines show better role model in health than the teachers of not-health-related disciplines. As self-efficacy is the most important factor on the HPLP score, it is very important to introduce programs to raise self-efficacy of teachers in middle and high school.

심리사회적 요인과 근골격계질환 증상과의 관계에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Psychosocial Factors and Symptoms of Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders)

  • Recent studies indicate potential links between various psychosocial factors and work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). In this research, the effects of job stressors on the WMSDs symptoms were investigated using questionnaire in the largest automotive company in Korea. It was found that perception of workload, over time and shift work, and working using powered hand tools were significant factors for the symptoms of WMSDs, along with smoking habit, periodic exercise, and interpersonal relationship. Practical applications of this research include practitioners taking into account psychosocial work factors and job stress in their efforts to reduce and control WMSDs.

미국이민 한국인의 스트레스 반응 양상과 생활사건과의 상관 연구 (Correlation Study between Stress Responses and Life Events as a Stressor)

  • Koreans are one of the fastest growing immigrant groups in America. Stress responses and stressors among this large cultural minority has been rarely been studied by nursing researchers. Adjusting to life in foreign country produces a great deal of stress. Differences in culture, language, expectations and social behavior can lead to misunderstandings between health care providers and clients. These misunderstandings are not well accounted for in health assessment. This study investigated the relationship between life events or / and daily activities as a stressor and the symptoms of stress among a sample of Korean immigrants in America. The symptoms of stress scale (SOS) was used to identify stress responses and open-ended questions were used to identify life events and daily activities considered by the respondents to be stressful. A simple random sample of 283 subjects was selected from the Directory of the Korean Society of Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Seattle. Demographically, the subjects ranged in age from 20 to 69 years, and the percentage of women and men was approximately 50% each. Almost ninety percent of the subjects were highly educated, 17% owners of business, 19% white collar professionals, 14% employed in sales or as skilled /unskilled labor, 27% as housewives and students and 3% had no occupation. The total group SOS mean was 0.8042 ; the SOS men for man was 0.7371, and for women was 0.8713. The stress response of this subject group was high, -the stress response of women higher than that for men. In an earlier study(June, 1992) with another sample, the total mean SOS score was similar to this one. The main stressful life events or / and daily activities were, in order, economic problems (N=97), interpersonal problems (N=68), children care problems (N=258), health problems (N=49), communication problems (N=42), family problems (N=38), worry about future career (N=36), and religious problems (N=25). There was a significant difference in the SOS means between the group that expressed life events or / and daily activities to be stressful and the group that did not. Interpersonal relationships and economic and family problems were stressors for those who complained about peripheral manifestations. cardiopulmonary symptoms, central-neurological symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, muscle ten-sion, habitual patterns, depression, anxiety, emotional irritability and cognitive disorganization. In summary, interpersonal relationships and economic and family problems influenced stress response manifestations. Income, the number of people in the family, the year of immigration. the level of education, and marital status were related to physiological and psychosocial stress responses.

간호원이 근무중에 경험하는 스트레스 측정을 위한 도구개발 연구 (The Development of the Stress Measurement Tool for Staff Nurses working in the Hospital)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the baseline data for developing the stress measurement tool for staff nurses working in the hospital. Two hundred and fifteen stan nurses in Seoul National University Hospital were participated during the period from Feb. 28 to Mar. 10, 1984. Though the pretest and literature review a questionnaire was constructed with 63 stressors which were experienced by the nurses in the hospital. Subjects were given instruction to rate 1∼6 likert type scale according to the level of stress experienced by each stressor described. Reliability of the tool was tested by Cronbach's Alpha, and the result was α=0.94871. Factor analysis was applied to organize 63 items together. As the result, 15 factors were obtained and these factors explained 66.3% of variance. The 15 factors were: 1) Work overload 2) Role conflict as a profession 3) Lack of professional knowledge and skill 4) Interpersonal problem 5) Conflict in nurse doctor relationship 6) Work conflict with doctors 7) Emotional burden due to the limitation of medicine 8) Poor treatment 9) Unsatisfactory relationship with supervisor 10) Low reward 11) Unsatisfactory relationship with subordinate 12) Poor physical environment of unit 13)Responsibility for extra affairs 14)Unfamiliar situation 15)Night duty.

문화적 자기관에 따라 스트레스 대처방식이 행복 및 대인관계 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Role of Cultural Self-construal on Stress Coping and Psychological Wellbeing)

  • 스트레스에 대한 대처방식의 차이는 개인의 심리적 안정에 영향을 미친다. 또한 개인의 특성에 따라 대처방식이 심리적 안정에 미치는 영향력은 달라질 수 있다. 그러나 개인이 가지는 특성 중 문화적 자기에 따라 스트레스 대처방식과 행복의 관계가 달라지는 지에 대하여는 확인된 바 없다. 기존의 문화적 자기관으로 대표되는 개인주의-집단주의 또는 상호독립적-상호협조적 자기는 한국인의 특성을 설명하는 데 한계를 보여왔다. 따라서, 본 연구는 한국문화를 설명할 수 있는 새로운 문화적 자기관인 주체성-대상성 자기를 기준으로 그 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 분석에 사용된 설문은 총 283부이며, 참여자의 평균 나이는 21.66세(SD = 1.46)이며, 남자는 125명(44%), 여자는 158명(55.8%)이었다. 설문은 행복, 대인관계 만족도, 주체성-대상성 자기, 그리고 스트레스 대처방식(문제해결, 조력추구, 소망적사고, 부인) 등으로 구성되었다. 분석 결과, 주체성 자기가 대상성 자기보다 우세한 집단이 문제해결, 조력추구를 많이 사용하였고, 부인은 적게 사용하였다. 다음으로, 주체성 자기가 대상성 자기보다 강할수록 행복과 대인관계 만족도는 높았다. 마지막으로, 대상성 자기 우세 집단이 주체성 자기 우세 집단보다 문제해결과 조력추구의 대처방식에 있어서 행복과 대인관계 만족도에 미치는 영향력이 유의미하게 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 새로운 문화적 자기관의 한국 문화의 이론적 적용과 실제적 활용을 논의하였다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여대생을 대상으로 마음챙김이 대학생 생활스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였으며, 두 변수간의 관계에서 정적정서 및 부적정서가 조절효과를 가지는 지 검증하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위해 K여자대학교 여대생(243명)을 대상으로 마음챙김 주의자각, 정적정서와 부적정서, 대학생 생활스트레스에 대해 설문조사를 실시하고 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 여대생의 마음챙김은 대학생 생활스트레스에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여대생의 마음챙김과 스트레스의 관계에서 정적정서는 조절효과를 보여주지 않았다. 셋째, 여대생의 마음챙김과 스트레스의 관계에서 부적정서는 조절효과를 보여주었다. 결론적으로 여대생의 마음챙김을 통한 주의 자각은 대인관계 스트레스, 당면과제 스트레스를 낮추는 데 도움이 되었으며, 부적정서를 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 논의에는 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향을 논의하였다.

치위생과 학생들의 임상실습스트레스와 스트레스대처방식 및 신체화경향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stress of Clinical Practice, Stress Coping and Somatization for Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 임상실습스트레스와 스트레스 대처방식, 신체화 경향간의 관계를 조사 연구하여 보다 효율적인 임상실습 지도를 위한 자료를 제공하기 위해 임상실습을 경험한 치위생과 재학생 268명을 대상으로 설문조사하여 SPSS WIN 12.0을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 임상실습 만족도를 조사한 결과 '만족 한다'는 32.5%, '보통이다'는 42.2%, '불만족이다'는 25.4%로 나타났으며 임상실습 불만족 원인은 각각 '대인관계의 어려움'이 21.3%, 임상실습에 대비한 '학과교육의 불충분'이 29.8%, 실습병원에서의 '부적절한 업무수행'에 대한 불만이 23.4%로 학과 교육과정에 대한 불만이 가장 높았다. 2. 신체화 경향은 임상실습 스트레스와 양의 상관관계(.307, p < 0.01)를 전공만족도 및 임상실습 만족도와는 약한 음의 상관관계를 보였으며, 임상실습 스트레스 하위요인들과 신체화 경향간의 상관관계 분석에서는 대인관계 요인의 상관계수가 .331로 다른 하위 요인들에 비해 높게 나타났다(p < 0.01). 3. 스트레스 대처 방식에 따라 적극적 대처 그룹과 소극적 대처 그룹으로 나눈 후 신체화 경향에 대한 두 군간의 차이를 검증한 결과 적극적 대처 그룹에서 보다 낮은 신체화 점수 평균을 보여 소극적 대처 그룹과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

치과위생사의 건강증진행위와 직무소진의 상관관계 분석 (Analysis of the Correlation of Burnout and Health Promoting Behaviors of Dental Hygienists)

  • This study had collected 275 dental hygienists working in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyungnam area, in order to investigate burnout and health promoting behaviors of dental hygienists and find relationship between these. A survey was conducted from December 14 through December 30, 2009, by using structured, self-administered questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 12.0 program. The obtained results were as follows; 1. The average health promoting behavior points are 3.12, and we could gain each point as follows; self-esteem 3.79, interpersonal support 3.70, and nutritional care 3.18. 2. All the factors of health promoting behavior had a negative impact on their burnout. Those who were less health promoting behavior sought burnout more often. 3. The burnout was under the greatest influence of the exercise, followed by stress management, interpersonal support, nutritional care.
