치위생과 신입생들의 전공 및 직업의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Awareness of Dental Hygiene Freshmen of Major and Occupation)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 신입생들의 전공 및 직업의식을 알아보기 위해 경기 지역에 위치한 3개 대학의 치위생과 신입생 361명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였으며, SPSS WIN 11.5 프로그램을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 직업에 관련된 견해에서 직장을 선택하는 조건으로는 보수가 많은 직장 M = 2.97점으로 가장 우선적으로 선택하였고, 직업에 대한 견해로는 생활수입을 위한 수단 M = 1.60점, 치과병의원 수익에 대한 견해로는 기계구입,시설확장, 기술개발 등 발전에 재투자해야 한다가 M = 2.00점으로 각각 가장 우선적인 선택으로 조사되었다. 2. 입학동기에 따른 전공만족와의 관계에서는 매우 만족과 만족하는 경우 적성에 맞는것 같아서 96.6%, 안정된 직업을 얻기 위해서 82.6%, 가족 친지 담임교사의 권유에 의해서 62.8%, 입학성적에 맞추어서 59.1%순이었으며, 경제적 사정으로 진학한 경우는 불만족 100%로 조사되어 입학동기에 따른 전공에 대한 만족도는 통계적으로 매우 유의한 차이가 있었다(p < 0.01). 3. 전반적인 직업의식은 3.10점이었고, 각 유형별 직업의식은 대인관계 직업의식 및 근로윤리 직업의식이 각각 3.19점으로 가장 높았으며, 학술관련 직업의식 3.04점, 전문직종 직업의식 2.99점으로 가장 낮게 조사되었다. 4. 일반적 특성에 따른 직업의식 정도에서는 입학동기와 입학당시의 정보에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고(p < 0.05), 전공 만족에 따른 직업의식 정도에서는 전공학과, 직업유지, 직업전망 및 전공교환에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p < 0.01).

치위생과 학생의 현장임상실습교육에 관한 교수효율성 (Teaching Efficiency of Clinical Practice Education for Students in the Department of Dental Hygiene)

  • 본 연구에서는 경기도 지역 치위생과 학생들의 현장임상실습교육에 있어 교수효율성을 파악하기 위하여 2010년 4월 12일부터 4월 26일까지 경기도에 소재한 7개 대학의 치위생과 3학년 학생 371명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문법을 실시하였으며, SPSS WIN 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 치위생과 학생의 임상실습교육 교수효율성은 '중' 정도인 것으로 나타났고, 교수효율성 요인에 대한 평가는 역할모델 요인이 3.40점으로 가장 높았다. 2. 임상실습기관 규모에 따른 교수효율성은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었고, 교수효율성 하위영역에서는 전문적 지식요인이 대학병원에서 가장 높았고, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p=.005). 3. 치위생 전공만족도에 따른 교수효율성은 전공만족도가 높을수록 교수효율성이 높았고(p=.001), 교수효율성 하위영역에서는 대인 관계술, 원조자로서의 기능, 공정한 평가, 교과에 대한 조직력(p=.005), 격려와 지지, 교수법, 교과에 대한 전문적 지식(p=.001), 의사소통술, 좋은 역할모델, 치과직원과의 협조(p=.000)에서 통계적으로 유의하였다. 4. 현장임상실습 교수유형에 따른 교수효율성은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었고, 교수효율성 하위 영역에서는 격려와 지지 항목에서만 통계적으로 유의하였다(p=.005). 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 현장임상실습교육에 관한 교수효율성은 '중' 정도인 것으로 나타났고, 전공만족도가 높을수록 교수효율성이 높음을 알 수 있으므로, 교수효율성을 높이기 위해서는 다양한 교수법 및 체계적인 실습프로그램이 개발되어 임상실습교육의 질을 높여야 할 것이다.

대학종합병원 수간호사의 업무분석과 모형연구 (Analysis of the Work of the Head Nurse and a Work Model for the Head Nurse in University Hospitals in Korea)

  • When the head nurse who is pivotal in the nursing service administration of the hospital performs efficiently as a first-line manager, the effectiveness of the nursing unit, which includes the quality of nursing care, the jab satisfaction of staff members, and the cohesiveness of staff members is increased. With this point of view in mind, the researcher carried out a study to determine the actual work (the content of the work, the work process, the role of the head nurse, the activity media, and the purpose of the work) of the head nurse in a university hospital in Korea. In addition, this study was also carried out for the purpose of preparing an ideal model for the work of the head nurse. The research subjects were 39 head nurses. This included all the head nurses in two university hospitals except those who were working in outpatient care, operating rooms, central supply, nursing administration, in-service education and emergency care. Data were collected from September 24th to October 21th, 1987 and April 4th to 12th, 1988. A work activity record on which the head nurse recorded directly in a chronological narrative form, was used as the research instrument. The 234 work activity records, 39 head nurse's continuous recording over 6 days(from Monday to Saturday) were collected and analysed. The results were as follows ; 1. With regard to the work content for the total daily work of the head nurse, 45.2% of the activities were managerial activities but 58.1% of the head nurse' s time was spent in direct patient care. 2. With regard to the work process of the head nurse, specifically the location, the size and membership of groups contacted, the results were as follows : 1) Of the total daily work activities 92.4% were carried out in the nursing unit and this occupied 84.5% of total daily work time. Direct patient care was generally performed on the nursing unit and managerial work was performed in other areas. 2) Of the total daily work activities, 73% was with one or more persons and 51.2% of total daily work time was spent in groups. 3) A total of 51 persons, working in different capacities were contacted. These included 21 persons giving patient care, 19 persons working in nursing unit management, and 7 persons working in human resource management. 3. With regard to the head nurse's role in work activity, 53.3% of total daily work activities involved the informational role, 26.9%, the interpersonal role and 19.9%, the decisional role. With regard to time, 57.7% was spent in the informational role, 23.9%, in the interpersonal role and 18.3%, in the decisional role. When the head nurse performed managerial work, she gave nearly equal emphasis to all three roles when she gave direct patient care the informational role was increased. 4. With regard to the activity media, the number of unscheduled activities accounted for 27.1% of the activities, scheduled activities, 24.3%, desk work activity, 22.1%, rounds, 12.5% and telephone calls, made or received, 14.0%. In daily total work time managerial work related to desk work and scheduled activities were high, ranging from 29.8% to 29.9% but for direct patient care time, scheduled activities and unscheduled activities were high, ranging from 23.6% to 35.3%. 5. With regard to the purpose of the work performed, 54.4% of the total daily work was concerned with the team and 41.4% was concerned with the agency. The managerial work was concerned mainly with the team and the direct patient care was concerned mainly with the patient. When the frequency of an activity and time were compared no significant difference was found between the days for which the work was recorded for any of the variables : the work content, the work process, the work role, the activity media and purpose of the work. On the basis of this study the following are proposed as an ideal model for head nurse work in Korea : The managerial work should be increased to 70%. The decisional role activities should be increased to 40%. Twenty percent of the work activity should be allocated to agency, community and profession. It is believed that this model for the head nurse's work can contribute to guidelines for job description development. Finally, educational programs, organizational and structural devices, and administrative support are needed for the proper function of the head nurse in this proposed model.

초등학생의 분노유발상황에 초점을 둔 인지행동적 분노조절 프로그램의 효과 (Development of A Cognitive-Behavioral Anger Control Program and It's Effects on Elementary School Children Under the Anger-inducing Situation)

  • One of the most common feelings in everyday life is anger. Anger plays an important role in activating emotional energy and increasing intolerance when confronted with hardships, frustration and improper treatments. And it provides us with controlling interpersonal behavior, organizing internal, physiological, psychological process and various adaptive functions. If anger is not properly expressed, it brings about offensive attitude, leading to not only physical impairment but also anxiety in interpersonal relations and maladaptive to everyday life. For elementary school students, frequent quarrels, abusive words and defiant attitude toward adults are also caused by students' anger. Therefore, students' anger is one of the most difficult problems to be dealt with not only psychologically but also in elementary schools. In this respect, after investigating frequently experienced anger- inducing situations and inventing anger-inducing situation questionnaire, we postulated specific situations changing irrational belief into rational one. Based on these situations, we accounted for how to cope with anger inducing factors and change irrational belief into rational one, introducing several strategies needed to control anger, invented cognitive behavioral anger control program and tried to clarify the relationship between anger inducing experience and anger regulation ability. In order to derive usual anger-inducing situations, we made 180 students with fifth and sixth grade to record the reason why he/she got angry, mood, thought, behavior and result. Through this process, we could derive 47 situations bringing about anger and prepared anger-inducing situation questionnaire. It can be divided into 3 anger inducing situations by using factor analysis into 500 elementary students of fifth and sixth grade. Cognitive behavioral anger control program used in this study consists of 13 sessions. From first to fifth session, it is composed of 10 anger control methods to make students be aware of and control their anger. From sixth through thirteenth session, the relationship between irrational belief and anger inducing is introduced is focused on how irrational belief is changed into rational one. To examine the effects of the program, high anger students and the students lacking anger control are selected. Thirty students through pre-test using anger-inducing questionnaire and anger control ability questionnaire are taught the goals and procedures. Volunteer students and students with parents' consent allocated to experimental group (12 students) and the rest of the students are control group (12 students). Cognitive Behavioral Anger Control Program are applied every 50 minutes twice a week for 7 weeks and 4 weeks before and after this program, anger-inducing situation questionnaire and anger control ability questionnaire are practiced. Data collected in this study analyzed by SPSS and Kwakstat. In the middle of this program, quarterly reports and satisfaction measuratings were evaluated to examine whether there is verbal and non-verbal behavior change and students feel satisfied with the program. The results of this study are as follows: First, Cognitive-behavioral anger control program used in this study effectively reduced anger experience and lasted for 4 weeks. Second, cognitive behavioral anger control program increased students' ability to control anger inducing situations and also effective for 4 weeks. And its effect on verbal and non-verbal behaviour was very impressive Students come to realize that irrational belief is the cause of their anger and actively apply cognitive-behavioral anger control technique to themselves as well. Students became improved in their peer relations and felt confident in everyday life. The overall evaluation of this program can be listed as follows; "very satisfactory (91.67%)", "satisfactory (8.33%)", "very helpful (91.67%)", "helpful (8.33%). In this study we first investigated several anger-inducing situations and invented anger-inducing situation questionnaire and then applied cognitive behavioral anger control program in order to control their. anger and not to experience it. By creating workbooks and manuals this method can easily be used in school education settings.

일부 지역사회 노인들의 우울수준과 관련요인 (Factors Related to Depressive Symptoms Among the Elderly in Urban and Rural Areas)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to determine the levels of depression symptoms among the community elderlies and to reveal its related factors, specifically aimed at revealing psycho-social factors such as social support net-work, sense of self-esteem, state anxiety, interpersonal behavior trait and locus of control. Methods: The interviews were performed during the period from April 1st to June 30th, 2007 to the 790 elderlies in urban and rural areas. Results: The mean scores of depression (CES-D) among all subjects were 16.65±10.97(urban: 18.81±10.31, rural: 14.49±11.20) and they were higher in urban than rural. The level of depression symptoms was influenced by the variables of educational level, with or without spouse, bear for living expenses, sense of satisfaction in daily life. As for health related behaviors, they were influenced by the variables of with or without regular exercise. As for health status, they were influenced by the subjective health status, with or without disability of body, visual acuity, hearing ability, ability of food mastication, urinary incontinence, with or without help in activity of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activity of daily living (IADL). As for social support net-work and social activities, they were influenced by number of offspring, frequency of offspring contents, frequency of going out and activity of hobbies. As for psycho-social factors, they were influenced by sense of self-esteem, state anxiety and social support, especially, the level of depression symptoms was higher influenced by the variables of psycho-social factors than other variables. Conclusions: Lower of the level of depression symptoms among the community elderlies would require development and application of programs to keep under management psycho-social factors as well as looking for ways to promoting the present health status.

문제학생가족과 정상학생가족의 가족역동 비교연구 (The Comparative Study of Family Dynamics between Families of Problem Students and of Normal Students)

  • The study was done to better understand problem behavior in high school students as described in family system theory, which explains the individual’s problem within the family interactions. The purpose of the study 1. To analyze the difference in the parents’ relationship as a couple between the two groups. 2. To analyze the difference in the parent-adolecent relationship between the two groups. 3. To analyze the difference in the family function (cohesion adaptability) between the two groups. The method of the study The staudy subjects consisted of a total of 176 families (528 persons), 109 high school students (End grade) with problem behavior and their parents (problem family group) ,and 69 high school students (same grade) with normal behavior and their parents (normal family group) residing in the Seoul area. Data were gathered from structured, self-reporting qestionaires which included a Couple Relation measurement (95 items) , Parent-Adolescent communication measurement (20 items), Family Cohesion Adaptability Scale (20 items) by DavidH. Olson et al., and a behavior evaluation tool. The results of the study 1. The results as related to the hypothesis were as follows. Hypothesis 1 : “satisfaction within The couple's relationship of the parents of problem family group will be lower than the normal family group was supported significantly(t=3.07, p=.005). Hypothesis 2: “The parent-adolescent relationship of the problem family group will be more negative and problematic than the normal family group” was supported significantly(t=4.06, p=.000). Hypothesis 3: “The family function (cohesion adaptability) of the problem family group will be lower than the normal family group" was supported significantly(t=2.20, p=.022) 2. The results of related analysis were as follows 1) Analysis of a causal relation between the couple’s relationship, the parent-adolescent relationship, family function and adolescent behavior showed that the Above 3 variables influenced adolescent behavior.. In cases where couple’s relation-ship, the parent-adolescent’s relationship, the family function are the better, their adolescent’s behavior is better. 2) Discriminant analysis of the research tool showed The discriminant ability of couple’s relationship tool was 75.57%, the Parent-Adolescent communication tool, 67.05, the family adaptability cohesion tool.67. 61%. In summary, interpersonal relationships in the family subsystems are interactive and their relation influences the behaviors. of adolescents in the family. Therefore, family therapy would be a more effective method than individual therapy, to resolve negative problem for adolscents, and the research tool used in this study are very useful for family system diagnosis and nursing intervention.

국내 작업치료사의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변수에 대한 메타분석 (Meta-analysis of Factors Influencing Job Stress of Occupational Therapist in Korea)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 메타분석을 통해 작업치료사의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법 : 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 작업치료사의 직무스트레스를 알아본 연구 15편을 분석대상으로 선정하고 개별 논문들의 일반적인 특성과 직무스트레스에 대한 관련 변수들의 효과크기(Fisher z)를 계산하였다. 또한 직무스트레스 하위요인들에 대한 관련 변수들의 효과크기를 알아보기 위해 계산을 실시하였다. 결과 : 관련 변수들의 직무스트레스에 대한 효과크기를 알아본 결과, 교육수준, 급여, 나이와 기타의 경우 직무스트레스에 대한 효과크기가 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 세 변수를 제외하고 모두 유의한 효과크기로 나타났다. 효과크기가 가장 큰 경우는 이직의도(ES = 1.161)로 나타났다. 하위요인에 대한 관련변수의 효과크기 분석 결과, 관계갈등, 조직체계 및 직무자율의 하위요인에서는 유의한 효과크기가 나타나지 않았으며, 물리적 환경, 부적절한 보상, 고용불안, 직무요구 및 직장문화에서는 유의한 효과크기의 관련변수가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 전체 직무스트레스에서 나타난 변수들의 효과크기와 하위 변수별로 분석한 변수들의 효과크기는 다르게 나타난 본 연구의 결과는 작업치료사의 직무스트레스 감소에 효과적인 방안 마련을 위해서는 직무스트레스 하위요인에 따른 접근이 필요함을 시사하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 심리적인 요인인 만족도, 소진, 자기효능감은 개별 하위요인에 따라 중간 크기의 효과 크기를 나타내었는데, 작업치료사의 직무스트레스를 감소시키기 위해서는 심리적인 역량 강화를 위한 프로그램 마련이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

폴리텍대학 NCS 직업기초능력 수업에서 액션러닝방식이 학습자의 학습동기와 문제해결력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Action Learning Approach on Learning Motivation and Problem-solving Capacity in NCS Vocational Competency Class of Polytechnic College)

  • 본 연구는 폴리텍대학 NCS 직업기초능력 수업에서 액션러닝방식이 학습자의 학습동기 증진과 문제해결력 향상에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 충남소재 B폴리텍대학 학생들을 연구대상으로 하였고 연구방법은 실험연구로써 실험집단 53명을 대상으로 액션러닝방식을 적용하였고 통제집단 64명을 대상으로 직접교수방식을 적용하였다. 자료 분석은 기술통계분석과 학습동기 및 문제해결력의 하위요인에 대한 다변량분산분석(MANOVA)을 실시하였다. 그 결과 학습동기의 하위요인 중 관련성, 자신감, 만족감에서 액션러닝방식의 학습효과가 높게 나타났고 문제해결력의 하위요인 중 문제명료화, 원인분석, 대안개발, 계획/실행, 수행평가에서 액션러닝방식의 학습효과가 높게 나타났다. 뿐만 아니라 액션러닝 방식의 학습은 과제중심의 팀 학습을 하는 과정에서 다양한 관점에 대한 이해, 의사소통, 리더십, 대인관계, 자기개발, 갈등관리, 회의운영 방법 등을 자연스럽게 터득하면서 직업기초능력을 함양할 수 있기 때문에 폴리텍대학 NCS 직업기초능력 수업의 교수학습방법으로 활용이 요구된다.

간호 대학생의 자아 존중감과 의사소통능력이 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-esteem and Communication Competence on Clinical Practice Stress of the Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생의 자아 존중감과 의사소통능력이 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였으며 본 연구의 대상자로 일 대학의 간호 대학생 198명이 참여하였다. 자료 수집은 자아 존중감 척도, 의사소통능력 척도, 임상실습 스트레스 측정도구를 통하여 설문조사하였다. 본 연구 결과 5점 만점에 자아 존중감은 평균 $3.4{\pm}0.57$, 의사소통능력은 평균 $3.5{\pm}0.42$, 임상실습 스트레스는 평균 $3.6{\pm}0.58$으로 나타났다. 또한 일반적 특성 중 남학생보다 여학생(85.4%), 시뮬레이션 실습 경험이 없는 경우보다 있는 경우(72.2%) 임상실습 스트레스가 높게 나타났다. 더 나아가 자아 존중감과 임상실습 스트레스의 하위 변수인 바람직하지 못한 역할모델과 양의 상관관계가 있으며(r=.156, p=.029), 의사소통능력과 임상실습 스트레스(r=-.329, p<.001)는 통계적으로 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 간호 대학생의 임상실습 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 의사소통능력, 성별, 임상실습만족도, 시뮬레이션 실습경험 여부였다. 이 요인의 설명력은 총 27.8%였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호 대학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소하기 위해서는 이들 변수를 반영한 다양한 교수법 활용 및 학습전략을 마련할 필요가 있다.

IT 학부생의 다중지능과 학문적 적응도 분석 -C 프로그래밍을 중심으로- (Analysis of Multiple Intelligences and Academic Adjustment Level for Undergraduate Students of IT Major -Focused on C Programming-)

  • 본 연구는 IT 학부생의 다중지능에서의 특성과 학과 및 전공학문에 대한 학문적 적응도를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 H대학 M과의 IT 학부생 1학년 신입생 70명이었고 전공학문은 학과의 기초전공필수인 "컴퓨터언어I-C언어" 과목이었다. 연구는 가드너(Gardner)의 다중지능이론에서 논란의 소지가 적은 8개 지능 영역을 사용하였고, 학문적 적응도는 대학생의 학과와 전공학문에 대한 적응력의 정도라고 조작적으로 정의하고, 변인으로는 선행연구를 통해 흥미, 몰입, 학과전공에 대한 친숙성과 관련성의 정도, 학업성취도 그리고 학과만족도를 선정하였다. 연구결과는 IT 학부생은 다중지능 중 대인지능과 자기이해지능이 강점으로 나타났고 남녀 간의 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 또한, 다중지능과 학문적 적응도 요인 간에 유의미한 상관들이 발견되었다. 특히, 학문적 적응도에서 C프로그래밍 학문에 대해 흥미와 몰입이 낮았지만 다중지능의 언어지능과 C언어에 대한 몰입과의 유의미한 상관은 매우 흥미로운 결과였다. 다중지능과 학업성취도와의 유의미한 상관은 나타나지 않았으나, 전공학문에 대한 관련성을 높게 인식할수록 C언어에 친숙함을 많이 느낄수록 학업성취도가 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서의 제한점을 논의하고, 연구 결과를 토대로 IT학부생의 학문적 적응도를 높이기 위한 처방적 전략에 대해 제언하였다.
