The Information Search Behavior for Service Quality of Travel Agents (소비자 정보탐색활동이 여행 서비스품질 인식에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the important travel agency service quality factors in relation to the amount of information search efforts through major information channels of customers such as interpersonal source, retailer source, and external media source. Factor analysis using varimax rotation was performed and 20 service attributes of travel agent was reduced to 6 factors; convenience system, personal service, customer maintaining service, reputation, atmosphere and accessibility. According to MANOVA analysis there are significant differences in the service quality factor due to the type of source and amount of efforts of information search.

  • P-type fire control panel, currently in use, has a big hazard that can cause the large scaled human death tolls and property damage in the massive fire because it is difficult to identify in real time the location of fire outbreak and whether search-device are broken down or not. In this paper, I suggest that the integrated fire automation system on based p-type fire control panel should be used, which can detect in real time the signal that occur when whether search-device are broken down or not, and can detect the arisen circumstances information of p-type fire control panel on the fire signal in the far away. The devised systems have designed and embodied the analysis of circumstances information and module that can analyze the circumstances information from the p-type fire control panel and the part of internet access installment which can gather and deliver the circumstances information from the fire prevention facility receiver.

A Comparative Analysis of Content-based Music Retrieval Systems (내용기반 음악검색 시스템의 비교 분석)

  • This study compared and analyzed 15 CBMR (Content-based Music Retrieval) systems accessible on the web in terms of DB size and type, query type, access point, input and output type, and search functions, with reviewing features of music information and techniques used for transforming or transcribing of music sources, extracting and segmenting melodies, extracting and indexing features of music, and matching algorithms for CBMR systems. Application of text information retrieval techniques such as inverted indexing, N-gram indexing, Boolean search, truncation, keyword and phrase search, normalization, filtering, browsing, exact matching, similarity measure using edit distance, sorting, etc. to enhancing the CBMR; effort for increasing DB size and usability; and problems in extracting melodies, deleting stop notes in queries, and using solfege as pitch information were found as the results of analysis.

  • Efficient ordering of decision variables is one of the methods that find solutions quickly in the depth first search using backtracking. At this time, development of variables ordering algorithms considering dynamic and static properties of the problems is very important. However, to exploit optimal variable ordering algorithms appropriate to the problems. In this paper, we propose a problem classifying rule which provides problem type based on variables' properties, and use this rule to predict optimal type of variable ordering algorithms. We choose frequency allocation problem as a DS-type whose decision variables have dynamic and static properties, and estimate optimal variable ordering algorithm. We also show the usefulness of problem classifying rule by applying base station problem as a special case whose problem type is not generated from the presented rule.

  • In this paper, we proposed Interval Type-2 polynomial Radial Basis Function Neural Networks. In the receptive filed of hidden layer, Interval Type-2 fuzzy set is used. The characteristic of Interval Type-2 fuzzy set has Footprint Of Uncertainly(FOU), which denotes a certain level of robustness in the presence of un-known information when compared with the type-1 fuzzy set. In order to improve the performance of proposed model, we used the linear polynomial function as connection weight of network. The parameters such as center values of receptive field, constant deviation, and connection weight between hidden layer and output layer are optimized by Conjugate Gradient Method(CGM) and Space Search Evolutionary Algorithm(SSEA). The proposed model is applied to gas furnace dataset and its result are compared with those reported in the previous studies.

The Effect of Motivational Factors and Information Search Types on Waxing Care Intention (미용 왁싱에 대한 동기요인과 정보탐색유형이 왁싱관리의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the motivational factors for beauty waxing affect the waxing care intention through information search types. To this end, a research model was established and 160 response data obtained by conducting a questionnaire survey on adult men and women in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were used for structural model analysis. As a result, it was found that the motivational factors (i.e., interest, importance, and other's eye) for beauty waxing influenced the waxing management intention through the information search type (i.e., exploration and observation). This study has expanded the academic field of beauty by exploring the predecessors of waxing care intention and its process, and it has implications that it can practically improve understanding of potential users of beauty waxing. It is thought to be able to contribute to the activation of the waxing market.

  • Real time strategy game is a computer game genre of Playing with human or computer opponents in real time It differs from turn-type computer games in the game process method. Turn type games, such as chess, allow only one Player to move at a time. Real time strategy games allow two or more Players to move simultaneously. Therefore, in real time strategy computer games, the game components' movement plans must be calculated very quickly in order to not disturb other processes such as gathering resources, building structures, and combat activities. There are many approaches, which can reduce the amount of memory required for calculating path, search space, and reactive time of components. (or units). However, existing path finding algorithms tend to concentrate on achieving optimal Paths that are not as important or crucial in real time strategy game. This Paper introduces Dynamic Heuristic Af(DHA*) algorithm which is capable of reducing search space and reactive time of game units and compares with A* algorithm using static heuristic weighting.

A Hybrid Index of Voronoi and Grid Partition for NN Search

  • Smart IoT over high speed network and high performance smart devices explodes the ubiquitous services and applications. Nearest Neighbor(NN) query is one of the important type of queries that have to be supported for ubiquitous information services. In order to process efficiently NN queries in the wireless broadcast environment, it is important that the clients determine quickly the search space and filter out NN from the candidates containing the search space. In this paper, we propose a hybrid index of Voronoi and grid partition to provide quick search space decision and rapid filtering out NN from the candidates. Grid partition plays the role of helping quick search space decision and Voronoi partition providing the rapid filtering. We show the effectiveness of the proposed index by comparing the existing indexing schemes in the access time and tuning time. The evaluation shows the proposed index scheme makes the two performance parameters improved than the existing schemes.

Ontology based Retrieval System for Cultural Assets Using Hybrid Text-Sketch Queries (혼합형 질의 방법에 의한 온톨로지 기반 유물 검색 시스템)

  • With the rapidly Slowing information, the research on the effcient information retrieval is increasing. Most of the retrieval systems for domestic cultural assets on the web have adopted a keyword-based search method. Those systems have required users to know the exact information about cultural assets such as name, keyword, etc. However, it is not easy to search the cultural assets with little information or only a remembrance of the shape. In this paper, we propose the retrieval system for cultural assets using both ontology-based and sketch-based search method to solve the Problems of existing systems. Our retrieval system allows users to use both text and sketch for a Query regardless of the type of information about cultural assets and to search in results using the ontology.

Fuzzy Stretching Method of Color Image (컬러 영상에서의 퍼지 스트레칭 기법)

  • TIn this paper, we propose a novel fuzzy stretching method that adopts a triangle type fuzzy membership function to control the highest and lowest brightness limit dynamically. As an essential procedure to enhance the brightness contrast, stretching is an important procedure in color image processing. While popular Ends-in Search stretching method should be provided fixed minimum and maximum brightness threshold from experience, our proposed method determines them dynamically by fuzzy membership functions. The minimum and maximum limit is determined by computing the lowest and highest pixel value according to the membership degree of our designed triangle type membership function. The experiment shows that the proposed method result in far less skewed histogram than those of Ends-in Search stretching thus successfully verifies its effectiveness.
