양육관련변인과 어머니-영아 상호작용행동간의 관계 (Relations between Parenting-Related Variables and Mother-Infant Interactive Behaviors)

  • Relations between mother-infant interactive behaviors and parenting-related variables were analyzed in a sample of 72 infants (35 boys and 37 girls, average age=31 mo.) and their mothers in Ulsan, Korea. Parents' views on children, parenting stress, fathers' participation in parenting and social support were measured using questionnaires and mother-infant interactive behaviors were observed using the 3-bags test. Among the parenting-related variables, parents' views on children were related significantly with mothers' emotional expressions & infant's participation with mothers. Social support was correlated with mother's behaviors, including positive rewards and emotional expressions. Mother-infant interactive behaviors were closely correlated with one another: Mothers' positive behaviors such as overall reactivity and cognitive stimulation were correlated positively with infants' positive behaviors, including sustained attention and positive affect. Future studies will provide us with greater insights into the mechanisms underlying the effects of these parenting-related variables on infant behavior and development.

  • This study analyzed relations among maternal parenting behavior, infant development and parenting stress focusing on the moderating effect of parenting stress. Subjects were 30 infants and their mothers. After videotaping the mother-infant free play session, maternal parenting was analyzed by the Parent Child Interaction Play Assessment(Mash & Terdal, 1981); mothers' parenting stress was measured by questionnaire. Infant development was measured individually by the Korean Bayley Scale of Infant Development (K-BSID-II). Correlation analyses revealed that infant cognitive development correlated significantly with maternal parenting behavior (attention) but the relation between them was moderated by maternal parenting stress; only the low parenting stress group showed a positive relationship between maternal parenting behavior and infant development.

영아반 교사의 영아발달지식이 전문성 인식에 미치는 영향: 보육 효능감의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Teachers' Knowledge of Infant Development on Perception of Professionalism: Moderation Effect of Efficacy of Child Care)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of teachers' knowledge of infant development and efficacy of child care on perception of professionalism. The participants of this study were 264 child care teachers who were in charge of infants in child care centers in Gyunggi Province. Instruments to measure teachers' knowledge of infant development, efficacy of child care and perception of professionalism as teachers were used in this study and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the hierarchical regression, and the structural equation model analysis by AMOS. Based on the hierarchical regression, efficacy of child care influenced on perception of professionalism rather than knowledge of infant development. The moderation effect of efficacy of child care existed in the relationship between teachers' knowledge of infant development and perception of professionalism.

영유아 교사의 안전교육에 대한 연구동향 분석 (An Analysis on the Trend of Studies on Safety Education of Infant-Early Childhood Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends in the studies on safety education of infant-early childhood teachers in order to provide basic data for a variety of studies in the field of child education. We consulted a total of 59 dissertations and journals articles on the safety education of infant-early childhood teachers published from 2008 to 2018. Our results were as follows: First, we found that the largest number of studies concerned safety awareness, followed by status and awareness, safety actions, safety education analysis, safety accidents and countermeasures, emergencies, development of programs, and teacher education. Second, we found that the most popular targets were child-care of teachers, followed by teacher-trainees, and center directors. Third, among the types of studies, we found that investigative quantitative studies were the most prevalent, followed by correlational studies, qualitative studies, and experimental studies. In terms of methods of gathering data, we found that questionnaires were the most commonly used, followed by qualitative studies, literature reviews, qualitative/quantitative studies, and quantitative literature reviews.

어린이집의 하루일과에서 영아반 보육교사가 실행하는 영아권리존중보육에 관한 연구 (A study on the infant daycare center teacher practicing infant's rights respect in care giving daycare center's daily work)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 영아반 보육교사가 어린이집의 하루일과 속에서 영아권리존중보육을 어느 정도 실행하고 있는지를 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위하여, J도 G시에 소재한 어린이집 영아반을 담당하는 보육교사 210명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 어린이집 하루일과에 따른 영아권리존중보육의 실행 수준을 보육교사의 학력, 경력, 연령, 전공에 따라 차이를 검증한 결과, 전체적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 그러나 등원시간과 화장실 다녀오는 시간에는 4년제졸업이상 학력교사보다 전문대졸 학력교사가, 등원시간과 낮잠 재우는 시간에는 50대 이상 연령교사보다 30~40대 연령교사가 영아의 권리를 보다 존중하는 보육을 실행하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 연령과 전공에 따라서 전체적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 하위영역별로 살펴보아도, 교사의 연령에 따라서는 의사 존중, 개별성 존중, 정보 제공에서 50대 이상 연령교사보다 30~40대 연령교사가, 교사의 전공에 따라서는 자율성 존중, 개별성 존중에서 유아교육 계열 전공교사보다 보육복지 계열 교사가 영아 최우선의 원칙에 따라 영아의 권리존중보육을 보다 우수하게 실행하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 두 관련변인의 관계성을 살펴본 결과, 통계적으로 유의미한 정적인 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 보육교사가 어린이집의 하루일과에 따라 실행하는 영아권리존중보육을 많이 할수록 영아 최우선의 원칙에 따른 영아권리존중보육도 많이 한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 양적 질적으로 우수하고 균형 있는 영아의 권리존중 내실화를 다지는데 필요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

보육교사의 영유아 권리에 대한 인식이 보육서비스에 미치는 영향 (Influence of nursing teacher's infant right perception on infant care service)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 영유아 권리에 대한 인식이 보육서비스와 어떤 관련성이 있는지를 알아보았다. 영유아 권리의 측정은 유엔아동권리협약에서 제시한 4대 권리를 중심으로 총 40문항으로 측정하였고 보육서비스는 하루일과 존중, 자율성 존중, 의견 존중, 개성 존중, 그리고 정보제공으로 구분하여 역시 40문항으로 측정하였다. 연구대상은 어린이집에서 근무하는 보육교사 489명이었다. 연구결과에 의하면 보육교사의 영아권리에 대한 인식은 생존권, 보호권, 발달권, 그리고 참여권 순으로 높게 나타났다. 영아권리에 대한 인식과 여러 유형의 보육서비스 관련성을 살펴보면 보육서비스에서 발달권과 참여권의 인식이 중요한 요인으로 나타났고 생존권의 인식은 의미 있는 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 보호권은 보육서비스의 유형 중 자율성, 개별성, 그리고 정보제공에서 의미가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 보육교사의 역할에 해당하는 아동의 생존과 관련된 보호를 아동권리에서 중요하게 인식하면서도 보육서비스는 주로 아동의 교육적인 측면의 권리를 중요시하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 영아권리유형별 인식차이가 보육서비스의 다양한 유형에서 차이가 나타날 수 있음을 시사한다.

장애 영유아 교사의 감정노동이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Emotional Labor on Job Stress in Disabled Infant Teachers : Focusing on Mediating Effects of Resilience)

  • 본 연구에 목적은 장애 영유아 교사의 감정노동이 직무스트레스 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 이들 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 파악하기 위함이다. 연구대상은 중앙 육아종합지원센터에 등록된 수도권(서울, 경기도)의 장애아 전문어린이집 장애 영유아 교사이며, 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하여 203부룰 회수하고 불성실한 응답 9부을 제외한 194부를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 감정노동 수준이 높을수록 직무스트레스가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 감정노동 수준이 높을수록 회복탄력성이 낮았다. 셋째, 감정노동이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향에서 회복탄력성이 부분매개효과를 나타냈다. 따라서, 장애 영유아 교사의 직무스트레스를 예방하고 회복탄력성을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안이 필요하다.

For the Protection of Infant Life Development and Support of Social-Linked App

  • This study focused on social connection apps and support among various measures to prevent 'killing and abandonment of infants', which has recently become a social issue. The research method attempted to show the necessity of a social-linked app by analyzing the contents of 12 cases with peculiarities in the infant murder process in the judgment after 2021. Infanticide mothers were found to be economically and socially vulnerable, and they killed infants to continue their lives. Focusing on the mind of human respect rather than the judicial meaning of punishing crime, the development of social connection apps and support services that allow both mothers and infants to be healthy and socially protected were proposed. The first is a great transformation of economic support and awareness for pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. Second, it is necessary to develop a confidentiality counseling and information app that can comprehensively support medical directions and social welfare in consideration of the health status of the fetus and women and the socio-economic situation. Third, it is proposed to promote the use of the Internet such as joint childcare facilities of social communities, child protection institutions, and adoption systems. The government should investigate the reasons for not being able to register birth, the root causes of killing and abandonment of infants, and come up with practical plans and policies for them.

영아와 어머니의 상호작용에 관한 단기 종단 연구 (A Short-Term Longitudinal Study on Infant and Mother Interaction)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in infant-mother interactions and to measure infant-mother interaction, mutuality, and reciprocity at the 2nd and 6th postnatal monthperiods. Infant-mother interaction was assessed in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings in the 2nd and 6th postnatal months, by filming unstructured free play in the home and analyzing 28 of these infant-mother film recordingsusing two trained observers. This study can be summarized in five points. First, the separate frequency distribution of each category in MIIBR's maternal behavior was as follows: the frequencies of vocalization category, the kinesthetic exercise & physical contact category, the physical caregiving category, and theuse of play tool category. These all showed changes in the 6th postnatal month compared to the 2nd postnatal month. Second, the separate frequency distribution of each category in MIIBR's infant behavior was as follows: the frequencies of physical behavior category, the vocalization category, and the play behavior category. These also all showed changes in the 6th postnatal month compared to the 2nd postnatal month. Third, the mutuality and reciprocity of mother interaction decreased in the 2nd postnatal month compared to the 6th postnatal month. Fourth, mutuality and reciprocity in the infant interaction increased in 2nd postnatal month compared to the 6th postnatal month. Fifth, mutuality and reciprocity in the infant-mother interaction increased in 2nd postnatal month compared to the 6th postnatal month. In conclusion, it is evident that infant-mother interactions change over time. This study bears particular significance in setting a foundation for the theoretical basis of the interaction between infant and mother by observation.

사회적 지원이 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육행동에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 양육스트레스와 우울의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Social Support on Infant Mother's Parenting Behavior: The Mediating Effects of Parenting Stress and Depression)

  • This study examined the effect of social support on infant mother's parenting behavior and mediating effects of parenting stress and depression between social support and maternal parenting behavior. Participants were 2078 mothers of infant (4-10 month) in Korea. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Model. Major findings were as follows: First, social support showed direct effect on maternal parenting behavior. That was the more mother receive social support, mother show responsive and warmer parenting behavior on infant. Second, maternal parenting stress mediated the effect of social support on maternal parenting behavior. That was the more mother receive social support, the less mother experience parenting stress, which in turn contribute to responsive and warm parenting behavior. Third, Maternal depression didn't mediate the effect of social support on maternal parenting behavior. However, social support and maternal parenting stress showed direct effects on maternal depression. This research suggest the needs for development of diverse social support policies and program to help mothers reduce maternal parenting stress and depression.
