자기이미지와 패션리더성향: 의복관여와 소비자 자신감을 중심으로 (Self-image and Fashion Leadership: Focusing on Clothing Involvement and Consumer Confidence)

  • People are exposed to diverse images and naturally find images to express themselves to others for personalsatisfaction. They present ideal images that they desire to obtain or actual images that they already have. People find differences between ideal images and actual images as well astry to overcome differences by managing appearance or purchasing fashion items. The congruence between real and ideal self-images and perceived body images stimulate clothing involvement or consumer confidence to influence fashion innovativeness and fashion opinion leadership. Fashion leaders are known for confidence when making buying decisions on new fashion products and are more likely to influence other consumers to buy new items. This study useda structural equation model to understand the influence of perceived self and body image on clothing involvement and consumer confidence as well as define how perceived images influence fashion leadership through clothing involvement and consumer confidence. The results of this study indicated that self-image congruence has a positive impact on social body image and personal body image. A positive influence of perceived body image on clothing involvement and consumer confidence was also detected. Fashion opinion leadership could be explained by clothing involvement and consumer confidence; however, fashion innovativeness could only be explained by consumer confidence.

외식산업에 있어서 서비스 리더십이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 - 패밀리레스토랑을 중심으로 - (Effects of Service Leadership on Job Satisfaction in Family Restaurant)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 패밀리 레스토랑 업체를 대상으로 변혁적 리더십과 서비스리더십에 대한 선호도를 조사하고, 서비스 리더십의 수준에 따른 종업원의 만족도를 살펴보고 효과적인 리더십의 유형을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 리더십의 선호도에 있어서는 변혁적 리더십의 선호도$(25\%)$보다 서비스리더십에 대한 선호도$(75\%)$가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 가설 2의 검증에 있어서 서비스 리더십 수준이 높은 집단의 종업원 만족도가 서비스 리더십 수준이 낮은 집단의 종업원 만족도보다 높을 것이라는 가설이 채택되었다. 이는 직무만족의 3가지 구성요소에 있어서, 그리고 종합적인 만족점수에 있어서도 유의적(p<0.001)인 차이를 나타내 서비스리더십의 수준이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단보다 직무만족이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 서비스리더십의 구성 요소인 서비스 신념, 태도, 능력, 통찰력이 종업원의 만족도에 양의 상관관계가 있을 것이라는 가설이 지지되었다. 또한 서비스리더십의 선호집단과 변혁적 리더십의 선호집단에 있어서 종업원의 만족도가 차이가 있을 것이라는 가설은 채택되지 않았는데, 이는 리더십의 선호도에 있어서 $75\%$의 패밀리 레스토랑의 종사원이 서비스 리더십을 선호한다고 응답하여 높게 나타났고, 선호하는 리더십과 실제로 수행되고 있는 리더십에 있어서는 차이가 있기 때문일 것이라고 추정된다. 본 연구는 현재 서비스 기업의 엄청난 부가가치의 생산과 더불어 그 중요성이 부각되고 있는데, 무형적인 가치의 제공과 고객과의 접점에서 즉각적으로 제공되는 서비스의 특성을 고려한 서비스리더십에 대한 이론을 고찰하고, 이것이 패밀리레스토랑에 적용가능성 타진해 봄으로써 효과적인 리더십을 돌출했다는 것에 의의를 둘 수 있다. 그러나 서비스리더십의 이론에 대한 심층적인 연구가 부족하고, 실제로 검증해본 연구들이 양적으로 적어서 일반화의 과정에 있어서는 아직 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서 앞으로의 후속 연구에 있어서 이론의 논리적 구성에 대한 검증과 외식업체에서 다양한 직무를 수행하고 있는 종사원을 대상으로 적용해보는 실증 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

제조업 근로자의 지각된 안전 분위기가 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Workers' Perceptions of the Safety Climate on Job Satisfaction and Intention to Turnover in the Manufacturing Industry)

  • This study aimed to examine the impact of workers' perceptions of the safety climate on job satisfaction and intention to turnover in the manufacturing industry. Data was collected from employees(n=143) working in the manufacturing industry. The perceived safety climate included perceptions of the safety commitment of the management, safety leadership of the immediate supervisor, and safety policy. Hierarchical regressions were conducted to identify the significance of the relation between the sub-variable of the perceived safety climate and job satisfaction, and intention to turnover. The results show that safety commitment and safety policy are significant predictors of job satisfaction. The immediate supervisor's safety leadership was significantly correlated with intention to turnover. These results indicated that the perceived safety climate of workers in the manufacturing industry might influence job satisfaction and intention to turnover. Therefore, organizations in the manufacturing industry should focus on improving safety climates to enhance job satisfaction and prevent employee turnover.

  • The goal of this research is to empirically examine how vocational skill development teachers' distributed leadership influences on job satisfaction, through organizational citizenship behavior and teacher empowerment. A nation-wide survey was conducted among vocational skills development teachers, the unemployed and teachers who have used a government-subsidized education card. First, the study revealed that vision has no significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior and teacher empowerment. Second, leader-plus has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior and teacher empowerment. Third, situation has no significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior and teacher empowerment. Fourth, organizational culture has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior and teacher empowerment. Fifth, a significant influence was found between teacher empowerment and organizational citizenship behavior. Lastly, organizational citizenship behavior and teacher empowerment has a significant influence on job satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of quality management system requirements, which are techniques for management innovation to secure competitiveness of small and medium-sized manufacturers, on management performance as economic uncertainties increase and non-face-to-face culture spread. To this end, a survey was conducted on small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that maintain ISO certification. As a result of the study, first, it was found that planning had a positive effect on management performance among the requirements of the quality management system. Second, it was found that improvement among the requirements of the quality management system had a positive effect on management performance. Third, in the relationship between the requirements of the quality management system and management performance, leadership was found to have a complete mediating effect on planning. This means that the CEO plays a large role in establishing strategies for companies to gain a competitive advantage and will contribute to establishing all measures.

품질경영의 활동요인과 경영성과와의 관련성에 관한 연구 - 건설업을 중심으로 - (A Affect on Quality Management Factors and Performance - Focus on Construction Industry -)

  • Purpose of this study is to empirically consider relation between QM activity factor and management result. For this, following 6 major variables of QM activity were established as independent variable; CEO's leadership, communication, process control, standardization, full participation and education/training while satisfaction of members and improvement of quality were established as dependent variable. And, a model was set up and hypothesis verification was conducted on the basis of data collected through questionnaires. The results are summarized as follows; First, QM factors which influenced satisfaction of members in management result were CEO's leadership, communication, process control, full participation and education/training but 'standardization' factor was not statistically significant. Second, QM factors which influenced improvement of quality in management result were CEO's leadership, communication, standardization, full participation and education/training but 'process control' factor was not statistically significant. Third, among main factors of QM activity, the factor which preferentially influenced satisfaction of members was 'full participation' factor while the factor which preferentially influenced improvement of quality was 'standardization' factor. According to such results, it is required to seek a statistical method regarding QM activity with focus on the factor of 'full participation' and 'standardization' among other things for the purpose of satisfaction of members as well as improvement of quality. It is believed that implication of this study can be useful information to realize management result considering main factors of QM activity and that it also can be basic reference data to seek a statistical method for satisfaction of members and improvement of quality by grasping core factors having influence over QM activity.

산학협력단 핵심역량이 기술이전과 교육성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Core Competencies of the University-Industry Cooperation on Technology Transfer & Education Performances)

  • 본 연구는 산학협력단의 리더십역량, 전략역량 등 핵심역량이 기술이전과 교육성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 연구이다. 우선, 산학협력단과 관련한 문헌연구를 실시하였고, 전국 산학협력단을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 산학협력단 주요 경영성과인 기술이전성과와 교육성과를 종속변수로 설정하였다. 독립변수로는 리더십역량, 전략역량, 인적자원역량, 연구개발 역량을 설정하고 각각에 대한 조작적 정의를 부여 하였다. 변수간 인과관계분석을 위한 연구모형을 제시하였으며, 설문대상 간의 차이 분석을 위해 국공립 대학과 사립대학을 조작변수로 연구모형에 포함하였다. 실증분석 결과, 독립변수로 적용한 리더십역량은 기술이전성과와 교육성과에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 조사되었으며, 마찬가지로 전략역량은 교육성과에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 인적자원역량의 경우에도 종속변수에 미치는 영향이 없었으며, 연구개발 역량의 경우에는 기술이전성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과가 산학협력단의 경영성과 개선에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

패션기업 CEO의 감성적 리더십이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 - 조직문화의 조절효과 연구 - (Empirical study on the influence of emotional leadership on business performance in the fashion industry - Focused on the moderating effects of organizational culture -)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess whether the emotional leadership of the CEO of a fashion company has a significant influence on corporate performance. In this study, a survey was conducten on employees of fashion companies from August 1 to 30, 2015, and 350 copies of questionnaires were collected and used for analysis. Factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were employed to analyze the data using SPSS software (ver. 21.0). According to the study results, if a fashion company CEO has higher emotional leadership, it leads to an increase in the job satisfaction and performance of the staff members, and an improvement in new product performance thanks to more investment and development and an expanded R&D staff. Additionally, the higher emotional leadership of the CEO contributes to an increase in operating profits, sales, and market share. Therefore, the importance of organizational culture was confirmed by its regulation effect on the emotional leadership and management performance of a fashion company. According to the results of this study, the emotional leadership of a CEO plays an important role in improving the performance of a fashion company, and future studies are needed to identify how to enhance the corporate performance of a fashion company from various perspectives.

부서장의 리더십이 부서원의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The influence of the head of department leadership on the performance of department head)

  • 본 연구는 부서장의 리더십이 부서원의 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 대전. 충남지역 직장인을 대상으로 201년 9월 22일부터 10월 13일까지 설문지를 배포하여 최종 72부를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 부서장의 리더십이 부서원의 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 목표달성도에는 의사소통능력(p<.001, ${\beta}=.613$)이, 업무효율성은 의사소통능력(p<.01, ${\beta}=2.70$)과 솔선수범(p<.05, ${\beta}=2.454$)이 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다다. 둘째, 부서장의 의사소통 능력이 부서원의 업무효율성이 p<.01 유의수준에서 유의하게 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 부서장의 의사소통능력과 솔선수범이 부서원의 성과로 높게 인식하는 양(+)의 상관관계로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 부서장의 리더십이 부서원 성과에 미치는 영향력을 분석함으로써 개인 조직 환경적 요인의 중요도를 파악하고 근로자의 개별적 특성에 따른 차이를 알아본 데 연구의 의의가 있다.

관계지향적 리더십이 임파워먼트와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 - 중식당 소유주와 지배인 간의 관계를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Relational Leadership on Empowerment, and Organizational Commitment: Focus on the Relationship between Owner and Manager in Chinese Restaurant Context)

  • This research is to examine the structural relationships between transformational/transactional leadership, empowerment, relationship quality, and organizational commitment in Chinese restaurant context. In order to empirically investigate the proposed model, the data were collected from 188 respondents randomly selected from among the managers who work in 188 Chinese restaurants in Seoul and Kyonggi-do, which registered in Korean Food Central Association, korean foodservice management Association, Menupan.com We choose to limit our investigation to luxury Chinese restaurants where the average check is above 12,000 won. The survey was executed during two-week period in the autumn of 2004. The findings and discussion are as follows: First, intellectual stimulus behavior of transformational leadership had a positive effect on empowerment. Second, contingent reward leadership had a positive effect on empowerment. Third, empowerment had a positive effect on affective organizational commitment. Fourth, empower had a negative effect on continuous organizational commitment. Fifth, intellectural stimulus behavior of transformation leadership had a positive effect on affective organizational commitment indirectly and had a negative effect on continuous organizational commitment indirectly through mediating role of empowerment. Finally, contingent reward leadership had a positive effect on affective organizational commitment indirectly and had a negative effect on continuous organizational commitment indirectly through mediating role of empowerment. At the end of this paper, managerial implications, discussions, and limitations and future research directions are presented.
