인천광역시의 물류산업 현황에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Regional Logistic Industry Status in Incheon)

  • Incheon port is located near the Seoul metropolitan area and it is gateway port to Korea. It has the efficient location conditions in geography and economics. Many logistics industry had been developed taking the advantage of above conditions. Since Incheon International Airport opened in 2001, the function in logistics had been grown gradually. But most of logistics companies in Incheon are lack of basic usage of logistic information. To identify the status for logistic industry in Incheon we analysed various statistical data and literature in this study. From the survey results, we found that logistic industry has higher weight than other industries. It is sure that logistics industry is the specific industry in Incheon.

인천항 비상용 근로자의 재해분석 및 예방대책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cargo Handling Accident Analysis and Prevention for irregular employee in Incheon Port)

  • The port, differently from general working place, is a closed area to execute security, customs, and quarantine procedures. The loading and unloading is being done differently by cargoes, ships, berths, and equipments. To load and unload a lot of equipments and different types of labor are required, in which work flow is very complicated. As above mentioned the port is very unique and deteriorated working place including danger. Now frequency of cargo handling accidents in port is highest for the second time among all industries. The purpose of this study is to propose ways to analyze and establish the preventive measure for cargo handling accidents in port. We have collected 45 accidents happened at Incheon Port during the period from 2007 to 2009. And the result of analysis, we proposed the new safety management system and safety education to reduce cargo handling accidents and to promote the quality of cargo handling in Incheon Port. Within the framework of effective safety management of cargo handling in port, this study will help to revise and establish system, education, and standard working manual with respect to the port loading and unloading system.

인천항 항만노동자 상용화 이후의 변화(효과)에 대한 연구 -인천항운노조 소속 조합원을 대상으로- (A Study on Effects of the Decasualization of Port Labor in Incheon Port)

  • As basic study on effects of the decasualization of port labor, this paper watched labor supply framework reorganization, focused on port worker in Incheon port at before decasualization(2005~2007.9) and after decasualization(2007.10~2010.5) and analyzed disposal quantity, workers, workdays, productivity, accident and disaster data that was apt to influence by the decasualization of port labor. Though commercial traffic of Incheon port was decreased in global economic depression, individual workday per month after decasualization compared with before decasualization is decreased by 3.3days from 22.7day to 19.4days, on the other hand, indivisual annual loading and unloading throughput is increased averagely 71.6%, and labour productivity, when 2005 labour productivity are 100, are increased by 67%. After decasualization, overall loading and unloading productivity is improved. But, according to loading and unloading, the number of accident and disaster are increase by 11.7% after decasualization for loading and unloading operation.

  • The government of Busan Metropolitan City conducted the "Survey on Shipping and Port Logistics Companies in Busan" between May and December, 2000. This was the first comprehensive survey of Busan Port conducted from the perspective of regional & industrial economics. The objective of the survey was to find out the level of influence of the shipping and port logistics industry on the regional economy of Busan, and to obtain base data for use in establishing an actual promotion program. The survey acquired information about human and physical resources, management conditions and consciousness of the industry, In addition, the study analyzed the survey data. The results of the analysis showed a method of creating added value in support of the marketing activities of the companies, and indicated methods of achieving systematic and sustainable promotion. The government of Busan City shall develop an e-Logistics infrastructure which can deliver a synopsis and intelligent information to people and companies in the industry by the end of this year. The information system would be of great help for people who may not be familiar with Busan's port and shipping industry, particularly international shipping companies. This will result in an Increase of trade and exchange in the shipping and port logistics industry, resulting in the generation of increased added value within the near future.

  • In these days many people have studied on the berthing problem. The operation rules differ from port so port and the problem is highly dependent on the environment of port. The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support system decision makers of the berthing problem for Inchon Port. The system is developed with graphic user interface(GUI) using user-interactive approach and some general and specific rules for Inchon Prot are considered. The system is composed of the following four parts ; the input/output part, the automatic berthing part by the system using rules, the manual berthing part by user, and the part for modifying results or handling exceptional events. The system is designed to assign ship to berths by matching the characteristics with environmental and operational constraints of Inchon Port. We expect that this system can provide decision makers with an efficient and fast way to berthing and can reduce wastes of time, space, and manpower in port operations.

  • Port development is remarkable increased due to the progress of industrialization in ASEAN area. Especially, Vietnam has increased the international physical distribution in this area rapidly. The main issues facing decision makers at container terminals in Vietnam are how to expand the existing container terminals and construct new container terminals. In this paper, we performed the basic design based on simulation analysis in order to support the expansion of Quy Nhon port in Vietnam as a case study. The preliminary capacity analysis was conducted on the one berth at the port to analyze the scale of C/C and yard area. Alternative scenarios were created based on the preliminary capacity analysis and the detailed simulation analysis was conducted fur the scenarios. And in order to establish the marketing strategy, we classified the marketing elements by industrial environment and performed SWAT analysis of the port.

인천항의 수출 적컨테이너화물 물동량 추정에 관한 연구 (Forecasting Export Loaded Container Throughput of Incheon Port)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 물동량 전망에 적용한 방법론이 아닌 개별 항만별 예측방법을 적용하여 인천항에서 경유하는 수출 화물 물동량을 전망하였다. 물동량 전망에 있어 기존의 통계적, 계량경제학적인 분석 대신 시스템 분석을 적용하였다. 대부분의 기존연구에서 적용하였던 총량적 접근방법은 전국의 총 화물물동량을 각 품목별 특성에 따른 계량모형을 통해 추정한다. 이는 전국권역을 기반으로 항만 O/D에 따라 향후 권역별 항만 개발계획 및 개별입지변화를 반영하여 체계적인 방법으로 배분함으로써 전국 항만의 물동량을 도출했다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 기존방법론이 아닌 개별항만의 주변상창이나 직접적인 영향을 미치는 산업단지의 현황을 토대로 물동량을 도출해 내는 방법이다. 본 연구에 있어 기초자료는 인천항을 배후권역으로 하는 수출 화물의 기종점인 배후산업단지의 소요면적에 대한 자료를 토대로 조사하였다. 이는 수출의 대부분을 창출하는 산업단지의 소요면적을 파악하여 이에 원단위를 적용함으로써 산단별 입출되는 물량을 도출할 수 있다. 여기에 산단별 분양률, 업종비중, 가동률, 그리고 산단별 수출 비중을 적용하여 인천항의 수출 화물 물동량을 전망하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 전망치와 비교를 함으로써 연구방법론의 다양화와 비교연구를 수행하는 연구성과를 거두었다.

항만도시재생 기록화 요소 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Port Urban Regeneration Recording Elements)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 도시재생사업의 시대적 배경에 맞춰, 도시 중에서 항만도시를 중심으로 도시재생사업을 효과적으로 기록할 수 있는 기록화 요소를 개발하는데 있다. 기록화 요소를 개발하기 위해 도시재생법, 항만관련법, 도시재생 관련 연구 등에서 지리적 정보, 산업정보, 법적 행정적 변화 등 8개 분야에서 기록화 해야 할 요소를 도출하였다. 도시재생과 관련된 전문가 20여명을 대상으로 도시재생법, 항만관련법, 관련 연구 등에서 도출한 요소에 대한 의견을 묻는 델파이(Delphi)조사를 3회에 걸쳐 실시하고 32개의 최종요소를 도출하였다. 선정된 각 영역별 기록화 요소는 지리적 정보(6), 비물질적 정보(4), 환경정비(5), 산업·경제적 1·2차 산업(2), 산업·경제적 3차 산업(3), 변화사항(6), 구성원 참여(4), 지역내 법·행정적 체계(2) 등이다. 또한 항만도시재생 기록화 요소를 지방자치단체의 기록물관리 전문요원에게 적용 가능성을 검증하였다.

항만별 승용차 수출 행태: 군산항.평택항.울산항 (Export Behaviors of the Passenger Cars of Gunsan, Pyeongtaek and Ulsan Port)

  • 본고는 우리나라 항만별 승용차 수출행태의 차이를 밝히는데 목적을 둔다. 수출은 미국의 경기와 미국 달러의 일본 엔화표시 환율의 함수로 한다. 경제이론에 의하면 미국 경기의 상승은 우리나라 항만의 승용차 수출의 증가로 나타나며, 엔화 환율의 상승은 엔화 가치하락에 따른 일본 승용차의 가격경쟁력 상승으로 우리의 승용차 수출이 감소한다. 먼저 항만별 수출모형의 안정성을 GPH 기법을 이용하여 모형의 안정성을 확보한 후 오차수정계수를 도출하여 항만간 계수의 차이가 크며, 군산항에서 가장 작고 울산항에서 가장 크다는 것을 밝힌다. OLS를 이용한 모형의 추정을 통해 3개 항만의 수출행태가 경제이론과 일치한다는 것을 보인다. 그리고 예측오차의 분산분해를 통해 항구별 승용차 수출이 경기와 환율에 대해 내생변수라는 것과 역사적 분해를 통해 경기쇼크가 3개 항만 수출변동의 주요 변수라는 것을 밝힌다.

Analysis of Integration and Growth Factors for Maritime Industry -With focus on Jeollanamdo Province-

  • The maritime industry has emerged as a new growth engine. The municipalities that own the port are trying to add value through the maritime industry. Overseas port cities are also creating maritime industrial clusters to generate profits and strengthen competitiveness. Therefore, it is very important to understand the comparative status of the domestic maritime industry by region. Based on this analysis, it is possible to establish maritime industrial clusters and strategies for integration. This study analyzed the structure of the maritime industry located in Jeollanamdo province, the southwestern part of Korea. Through the analysis of existing literature, the maritime industry was reclassified into 5 major categories, 21 subcategories, and 84 subcategories. Based on the reclassified maritime industry, the analysis of the Jeollanamdo province maritime industry was based on applying the location quotient and the shift-share analysis. As a result of analyzing the geographical location of Jeollanamdo province, other industries showed the highest value of 2.790, followed by fisheries (2.227), shipbuilding industry (1.164) and marine tourism industry (0.554). The growth effect of the maritime industry in Jeollanamdo province was 35,323 people, and net growth effect excluding national growth effect was 11,945 people. In particular, the net growth effect of the shipbuilding industry was the highest at 11,320, followed by shipping logistics (6,371) and marine tourism (1,529). On the other hand, there was no net growth effect in fisheries. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the construction of the maritime industrial cluster for Jellanamdo province in the future.
