Development of Differential Exhaust Flow Controller using One Chip Microcontroller (단일칩 마이크로컨트롤러를 이용한 차압식 유량제어기의 개발)

  • In this paper, a Exhaust Flow Controller (EFC) technology for uniform application of film coater and developer device is introduced that spread and remove photo resister at semiconductor manufacturing process. Because developed EFC device uses differential pressure sensing method as a differential flow meter and embodied smart A/D conversion by using a one chip microprocessor and devised by feedback Servo control, It has shown excellent performance and stability evaluation, as maximum 2000L/min flow, capability of installation to actual semiconductor equipment.

A Comparison Characteristics on the Structures of the LED Traffic Signal Lamp Controller for the Domestic Use (국내 LED 교통 신호등용 안정기 구조별 특성 비교)

  • Instead of the incandescent lamps the LED lamps have been used on the traffic signal lamp with the advantages of small loss, no lens and long life. In this paper, we have compared three kinds of the LED controller structures and showed the LED array decision methods. We studied the temperature characteristics on LED and the temperature compensation network. The experimental results showed that the electrical characteristics of three kinds of the LED controller structures were different each other. We concluded that the temperature compensation is the important technique, the best compensation network has the ${\pm}10%$ variation for the luminous intensity.

  • This paper considers reinforcement learning control with the self-organizing map. Reinforcement learning uses the observable states of objective system and signals from interaction of the system and the environments as input data. For fast learning in neural network training, it is necessary to reduce learning data. In this paper, we use the self-organizing map to parition the observable states. Partitioning states reduces the number of learning data which is used for training neural networks. And neural dynamic programming design method is used for the controller. For evaluating the designed reinforcement learning controller, an inverted pendulum of the cart system is simulated. The designed controller is composed of serial connection of self-organizing map and two Multi-layer Feed-Forward Neural Networks.

  • Generally, the required control functions for the industrial auto trimming sewing machines are the sewing speed control with pedal input, the up/down stopping-position control of the needle, the automatic sewing according to the memorized sewing pattern including the number of stitches, and etc. We developed a new type of AC servo motor controller, which suffices for all the above functions. The developped controller is working well, and the performances are very good for the practical use.

Smart Phone Based Infrared Remote Controller without Restriction of Target Devices (대상 기기에 제한이 없는 스마트폰 기반의 적외선 리모컨)

  • Infrared remote controllers are widely used in controlling electronic devices due to its simplicity and convenience. This paper presents a smart phone application unifying any infrared remote controllers. We can select a device from device list menu of the application. Any new device can be added easily by downloading the protocol file of the device from protocol file server. Remote controller protocol files are stored in audio file format, and the file related to a specific menu button is transmitted through the audio jack of smart phones. The protocol file server is a standard file server, and protocol files for various devices are collected by infrared receiver module. For smart phones without infrared facility, a small infrared module translating audio signal to infrared signal is applied.

  • This paper presents the development of a compact position generator to be used for industrial purposes based on a pump controlled Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (EHA), which is closed-loop controlled by an embedded based Iterative PID controller. The controller is designed by combining the PID controller and the iterative learning scheme to perform tracking control for periodically desired references. Control algorithm is implemented on an embedded computer (AD 7011-EVA) which makes the implementation and application in industrial environments easier.

  • In this study, we design a position controller for two axis servo system. The position controller performs numerical control(NC)to DC or AC servo motor or step motor, and also has a digital input/output sequence capability. The control program composed of position and sequence command, which is called channel, is programmed easily and user-interactively. And it is interpreted and the straight line and arc position command is interpolated. We develop the Z80 microprocessor based system and the software with assembly and C language, and also PC based graphic simulator for the debugging and educational purposes.

  • In this paper we compare the performances of adaptive operators in genetic algorithm. For the adaptive operators, the crossover and mutation operators of genetic algorithm are considered. One fuzzy logic controller is developed in this paper and two heuristics is presented from conventional works for constructing the operators. The fuzzy logic controller and two conventional heuristics adaptively regulate the rates of the operators during genetic search process. All the algorithms are tested and analyzed in numerical examples. Finally, the best algorithm is recommended.

  • In this paper, $H_{\infty}$ two-degree-of freedom(2-DOF) model following control method is applied for the control of a brushless servo motor to achieve high robust performance. The proposed robust control algorithm designed to meet the robust stability and performances present that the robust control method is superior to conventional control methods in controlling the speed and position of a servo motor. The designed controller is implemented as an outer loop controller to a factory designed motor-servopack system. It is illustrated by simulations that the proposed method is effective to control servo systems.
