The demand for inclusive education in school settings has been constantly increasing. Yet, within the context of general subject teacher education, rather than special teacher education, preparation for this remains insufficient. This study aims to investigate and analyze the teacher efficacy for inclusive practices of pre-service science teachers with a focus on identifying differences based on respondent variables. In this research, teacher efficacy for inclusive practices is defined as self-belief in the ability to effectively teach students, including students with disabilities, in inclusive educational environments. It encompasses three sub-dimensions: efficacy in using inclusive instruction, efficacy in collaboration, and efficacy in dealing with disruptive behaviors. Utilizing data from 61 pre-service science teachers using 'Teacher' Efficacy for Inclusive Practices' survey tool, this study examines the distribution of teacher efficacy in inclusive practice across sub-dimensions and differences in distribution based on respondent background. The findings indicate that pre-service science teachers show a generally positive state across all three sub-dimensions, with efficacy to use inclusive instructions and efficacy in collaboration being the highest and efficacy in dealing with disruptive behaviors the lowest. he teachers' efficacy for inclusive practices of pre-service science teachers exhibited some tendencies of difference based on gender, experience with volunteering for individuals with disabilities, experience with inclusive education, and the extent of coursework in special education. However, none of these factors showed statistically significant differences.
Objective: The goal of this study was to explore the implementation status of positive behavior support(PBS) for child care and education teachers and special education teachers at inclusive settings, and to investigate support needs of both teachers for improving the implementation of PBS. Methods: This study made up 405 surveys for child care and education teachers and special education teachers in 45 inclusive settings from July to August in 2019. A total of 244 surveys(60.2%) were completed and returned. Results: Special education teachers were statistically higher than child care and education teachers in the implementation of the center based level 1, the small group based level 2, and the individual based level 3 of PBS. In open-ended responses, when implementing PBS, the two groups of teachers had difficulties in getting knowledge about how to instruct preschoolers and implementing PBS. Both groups of teachers wanted the education and the training opportunities for PBS at first, and to 'reduce the teacher-to-child ratio'in the public support system. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the results, suggestions were discussed on how to improve the implementations of PBS of child care and education teachers and special education teachers at inclusive settings.

In this study, we explored the meaning of science education in an inclusive education setting tram the view of the epistemological approach, and discussed the principles and theories for constructing an educational program. Also, we explored the possibility of inclusive education in science education by suggesting principles for practice: accommodating science curriculum macroscopically, adapting science curriculum microscopically, considering diversity in science instruction, sharing the differences in science teaching and learning, and restructuring the assessment system in science education. We also reviewed the case on learning basic concepts in optics for the visually impaired according to the principles discussed. In conclusion, we discussed the considerations for the practice of inclusive education in science education and inferred further research problems.

This study tried to analyze the social perception of news coverage on inclusive education by using big data analysis techniques. News articles were collected according to the 5-year policy period for the development of special education, and news big data was analyzed. As a result, the frequency of media reports during the five-year policy period of special education development from 1998 in the first year to 2022 in the fifth year was steadily increased. During this period, the top topic words in news coverage changed from words conceptualizing simple definitions to words expressing the active will of students with disabilities for the actual right to education. In addition, as a result of emotional analysis of the overall keywords in the inclusive education news coverage, it was found that the positive word ratio was high. Through this study, it can be seen that interest in news coverage on inclusive education is increasing quantitatively in accordance with changes in special education policies, and the demand for inclusive education is being concreted in the direction of guaranteeing the actual right to education of students with disabilities.
