The purpose of this study is to investigate the information need of senior users of public libraries and to present ways to improve senior services based on this. To this end, demographics and public library statistics were analyzed, and opinions and demands on book collection, programs, services, and spaces were investigated for senior users of Gangseo-gu libraries. The survey was conducted with surveys and interviews, and based on the results of the survey, it was suggested that the improvement of senior service should be carried out to customized contents collection, program connecting the past, present and future, services with enhanced access and publicity and securing dedicated space for seniors.

This study evaluated the consumers' demands and points of improvement for restaurant meal replacement through importance-performance analysis by the restaurant meal replacement segment market using food involvement. The results were as follows. First, after segmenting the restaurant meal replacement market using food involvement, it was classified into three markets (multiple involvements, exploration-oriented, and product quality-oriented). Second, an analysis of the importance of restaurant meal replacement selection attributes revealed taste, sanitation, quality, freshness, price, saving time, texture, ingredients, preparation process, and quantity to be highly important. An analysis of the differences according to the market type revealed the multiple involvement type to be more important than other groups, considering the restaurant meal replacement selection attribute element. Third, an analysis of the importance-performance analysis of restaurant meal replacement selection attributes revealed that quantity and price as the selection attributes that needed to be improved first in all three markets. In addition, in the multiple involvement type, food additives appeared as a selection attribute requiring priority improvement, revealing the characteristics of a market that cares about diet and health.

This study aimed to identify challenges faced by occupational health and safety education institutions to derive and propose methods of improving occupational health and safety education. To achieve this, 13 personnel responsible for occupational health and safety education institutions were interviewed, resulting in the identification of 14 areas for improvement. Consequently, a survey was developed and conducted among 107 individuals from 195 occupational health and safety education institutions. The priorities of the 14 items were analyzed using methods such as the content validity ratio (CVR), paired t-test, locus for focus model, Borich's needs assessment, and effect size (Cohen's d). The research results highlighted significant challenges, including the importance of mitigating abnormal competition among occupational health and safety education institutions, improving awareness among employers and workers regarding the importance of occupational health and safety education, and developing programs that satisfy customer demands.

Recently, the incidence of disasters and safety incidents is increasing rapidly, and the interest and demands of the people are increasing. In particular, traffic accidents in Korea are decreasing due to the continuous efforts of the government and the local governments, but still higher than the OECD average. In response to such demands of the times, the 'Regional Safety Index', a numerical value that quantifies the level of safety of each local government, is being publicized every year to awaken public awareness. The Regional Safety Index covers seven categories of accidents (traffic accidents, crimes, suicide, infectious diseases, fire, safety accidents, and natural disasters) in local governments. But, this study focuses on the traffic accident area and analyzed. The target local government is Ulju county of Ulsan Metropolitan City. Based on the traffic accident statistical data of Ulju county, the analysis of the traffic accidents and vulnerable points were analyzed. Among them, 3 key improvement districts were selected and 15 vulnerable branches were selected for each key improvement district. Next, we prepared measures for improvement of each accident vulnerable site through analysis of geographic information through traffic data related to traffic accidents and interview with related organizations. In addition, the improvement measures are divided into the structural infrastructure improvement, the institutional improvement, and the traffic safety culture movement from the viewpoint of traffic accident prevention. Finally, the implications of this study are to clarify the duties and roles of the relevant departments in the municipality, based on the implementation schedule of the improvement projects for the prevention of traffic accidents and the budget plan. In addition, it is very important that the participating agencies involved in traffic accidents and the private sector participate in the project.

HACCP is a preventative food safety management system whose application is highly encouraged worldwide. In this study, the workers' demands for the application of HACCP system at the meat retail shops were surveyed. According to a factor analysis on the demands of the application of HACCP system, the results could be classified into three factors: HACCP support, HACCP promotion and education, and generic livestock product safety management. Items on demands showed higher results for HACCP support (3.91 point) than for HACCP promotion and education (3.83 point) or generic livestock product safety management (3.72 point). The application of HACCP system was more demanded by HACCPcertified retailors with 4.11 point than the non-HACCP-certified ones (3.57 point). From the analysis of items on demands, 'governmental promotion of the general public livestock HACCP; (p<0.001) was the highest demand item by the HACCPcertified retailors and 'HACCP certification support for the government's investment' by the non-HACCP-certified ones (p<0.05). The strengthening of governmental support for the application of HACCP at meat retail shops as well as active HACCP promotion and education aiming at general public was demanded. With this, the establishment of HACCP system and the improvement of safety management level at the area of meat retail shops could be achieved, contributing to the increase of consumers' satisfaction.

The complexity of modern weapon systems using the intelligence technology demands that rapid and effective transition from force requirements to deployment and fielding. Thus this paper deals with the integration of development procedure, evolutionary acquisition, integrated test and evaluation, improvement of the requirements decision process, use of commercial products of high quality and low cost, specification deviation, and the effective use of dual use technology. In general, decision­makers, and military field users shall first consider the moving technology rapidly into use. This study is aimed to improve the defence acquisition management directive for timely force integration of weapon system.

Game industry demands for talented workers from game scenario writing, graphic design and computer game programming areas, which are the three heterogeneous parts of computer game making. This paper deals with the analysis on the college convergence education, surveying the curriculums of game departments in Korean universities and with how to proceed for game programmers to the direction of convergence education for computer game making. Most of the game departments are focusing on game programming area, whereas only 2 departments among 14 surveyed are teaching the game graphic design topics. Observing the curriculum changes for sampled game departments reveals that around 30% of the majoring classes are directly game related. Game programmers are to be advised to fulfill their programming skill first and later expand their ability to game graphic design skill.

Demands for sports activities for the disabled are continuously increasing. Although sports centers where the disabled available are compartmentalized into the disabled sports centers and the public sports facilities, in fact, sports activities for the disabled in the public facilities had limits. Therefore, this study draw current states, features and issue related spaces and programs of the public sports centers in order to seek ways to activate sports activities for the disabled. The results of the study as follows. Firstly, setting up the legal regulation about the disabled sports centers. Secondly, improvement the facilities considered the disabled's characteristic. Thirdly, installation of a shower stall and a locker room for various users. Fourthly, positive application of the outdoor space connected with a swimming pool. Fifthly, laying detailed regulation of sports centers for the disabled. In conclusion, the study on architectural model which related with spaces and programs of the sports center for all people is needed to move forward.

The KGBCC(Korean Green Building Certification Criteria), which is the assessment standard of green buildings, is not enough to reflect all the current demands of residents. Therefore, the comparative analysis between the certification score and the residents' satisfaction of a promotional green apartment, a awarded green apartment, and a certified green building apartment was carried out to derive improvements of the KGBCC. The residents of selected three apartments were surveyed through the assessment items of the KGBCC. According to the research, the certified green building apartment shows the highest certification score and residents' satisfaction overall, compared with other two apartments. Finally, the improvements of KGBCC were determined through the reason of the residents' dissatisfaction. The KGBCC that is improved by this study can be used for the new assessment standard of green buildings.

With the increasing demands for clean environment, development of air cleaning systems has been received increasing attention. EP is usually used for air cleaning in the coal power plant. One of the key technology in the EP is high voltage pulse power supply, which affects the performance of the overall system. In this study, high voltage micro pulse power supply for the EP will be developed for a 500MW coal power plant, which is recently developed technology in the advanced nations. The technology developed will contribute in upbringing the export of heavy electric systems and production of high value-added products.
