A High-efficiency Trim Method for CFD Numerical Calculation of Helicopter Rotors

  • In order to resolve the trimming difficulty in rotor CFD calculations, a high-efficiency and improved "delta trim method" is established to compute the blade control settings that are necessary to identify the blade motion. In this method, a simplified model which combines the blade element theory and different inflow models is employed to calculate the control settings according to the target aerodynamic forces, then it is coupled into a CFD solver with unsteady Navier-Stokes equations by the delta methodology, which makes the control settings and aerodynamics calculated and updated in the meantime at every trim cycle. Different from the previous work, the current research combines the inflow model based on prescribed wake theory. Using the method established, the control settings and aerodynamic characteristics of Helishape 7A, AH-1G and Caradonna-Tung rotors are calculated. The influence of different inflow models on trimming calculations is analyzed and the computational efficiency of the current "delta trim method" is compared with that of the "CFD-based trim method". Furthermore, for the sake of improving the calculation efficiency, a novel acceleration factor method is introduced to accelerate the trimming process. From the numerical cases, it is demonstrated that the current "delta trim method" has higher computational efficiency than "CFD-based trim method" in both hover and forward flight, and up to 70% of the amount of calculation can be saved by current "delta trim method" which turns out to be satisfactory for engineering applications. In addition, the proposed acceleration factor shows a good ability to accelerate the trim procedure, and the prescribed wake inflow model is always of better stability than other simple inflow models whether the acceleration factor is utilized in trimming calculations.

직업탐구 영역 관련 교과의 교수·학습 방법 운용 실태 조사 연구 (Study of investigation the present states of operating teaching and learning methode in relation to vocation inquiry section)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the actual state of teaching and learning methods which are applied to the vocation inquiry section-related subjects of the College Scholastic Ability Test(CSAT) by the teachers who teach specialized subjects of vocational high schools. In order for us to get the background and feature of establishment in the area of vocation inquiry section of the CSAT, previous studies and literature was analyzed and sample survey on the 600 teachers who teach the vocation inquiry section-related subjects was made. The result of this survey is as shown below; First, the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section-related subjects understand that theory and practice is in the ratio 60.76:39.24 and ratio of theory is higher than that of practice. Second, teaching and learning method which is the most relevant to the vocation inquiry section is in the order of lecture(83.9%), experiment & practice(50.4%), computerized learning(41.1%). Third, teaching and learning method which is the most used by the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section-related subjects is in the order of lecture(85.8%), computerized learning(50.1%), experiment and practice(44.4%). Forth, the most desirable teaching and learning method which the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section for this subject believe is in the order of lecture(62.7%) experience & practice(47.7%), computerized learning(44.4%). In light of this result, even though there were not so much difference among the teaching-learning methods which are the most consistent with the contents of the subject in relation to the vocation inquiry section, the most used teaching-learning method by the teachers who teach vocation inquiry section-related subjects and the most desirable teaching-learning method which the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section believe, the most used teaching-learning method by the teachers who are in charge of the vocation inquiry section is lecture. Therefore, it is necessary for us to reinforce the contents in relation to the practice & experiment so that the experience and application can be accumulated and improved through practice which is the specialty of the course of the study in the vocational high school and various teaching and learning method should be developed in consideration of contents of the subject, capability & quality of the learners and status of a classroom.

Static analysis of nonlinear FG-CNT reinforced nano-composite beam resting on Winkler/Pasternak foundation

  • In this study, the static analysis of carbon nanotube-reinforced composites (CNTRC) beams resting on a Winkler-Pasternak elastic foundation is presented. The developed theories account for higher-order variation of transverse shear strain through the depth of the beam and satisfy the stress-free boundary conditions on the top and bottom surfaces of the beam. To study the effect of carbon nanotubes distribution in functionally graded (FG-CNT), we introduce in the equation of CNT volume fraction a new exponent equation. The SWCNTs are assumed to be aligned and distributed in the polymeric matrix with different patterns of reinforcement. The rule of mixture is used to describe the material properties of the CNTRC beams. The governing equations were derived by employing Hamilton's principle. The models presented in this work are numerically provided to verify the accuracy of the present theory. The analytical solutions are presented, and the obtained results are compared with the existing solutions to verify the validity of the developed theories. Many parameters are investigated, such as the Pasternak shear modulus parameter, the Winkler modulus parameter, the volume fraction, and the order of the exponent in the volume fraction equation. New results obtained from bending and stresses are presented and discussed in detail. From the obtained results, it became clear the influence of the exponential CNTs distribution and Winkler-Pasternak model improved the mechanical properties of the CNTRC beams.

설계위주 실험교육에 의한 협동학습 능력 강화 (Reinforcement of Teamwork Ability thru Design Based Experimental Education)

  • 공학인으로 갖추어야 할 능력 중에서 문제를 인식하고, 이를 공식화 한 후 창의적이며 체계적으로 해결해 나갈 수 있는 능력을 길러주기 위한 방법으로 설계교육을 체계적으로 해 가는 것이 효과적이다. 이를 위하여 본 대학에서는 1학년에서 창의력을 길러주며, 효과적인 설계 추진 과정을 길러주기 위한 공학설계입문을 개설하여 운영하고 있다. 또한 나머지 학년에서도 실험과 설계가 융합된 과목, 이론과 설계가 융합된 과목을 개설하여 각종 설계문제를 해결하도록 교육하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2학년의 교과목 중 기존의 실험실습 과목을 실험과 설계가 융합된 새로운 개념의 과목으로 개편하여 지난 2년간 운영해온 실적을 분석하여 공학인증에서 요구하는 학습성과 중 팀원으로써의 역할 수행능력이 증가함을 보여준다. 뿐만 아니라, 교과운영 내용을 비교적 상세히 소개하여 공학인증에서 요구하는 설계교육을 효율적으로 운영하는 예시를 보여주며, 주요한 학습성과를 달성하는 한 방법을 제시한다.

퍼지 동정에 의한 교통경로선택 (Traffic Rout Choice by means of Fuzzy Identification)

  • 퍼지모델링의 설계 방법을 교통경로선택의 모델동정을 위하여 제안한다. 제안된 퍼지모델은 최적화이론, 퍼지구현규칙을 사용하여 ""IF..., THEN...""의 효율적인 형태로 시스템구조와 파라미터 동정을 시행한다. 이 논문에서 간략추론, 선형추론, 병형된 선형추론의 3가지종류의 퍼지모델링 방법을 제시한다. 이 퍼지추론 방법은 인간의 교통행동의 정확한 추정과 정밀한 묘사를 위해 교통경로선택 모델을 개발하기 위해 이용된다. 퍼지규칙의 전반부 구조와 파라미터를 동정하기 위해 개선된 컴플렉스법을 사용하고, 최적후반부 파라미터를 동정하기 위해 최소자승법이 사용된다. 교통경로선택 데이타가 제안된 퍼지모델 성능을 평가하기 위해 사옹된다. 제안된 방법이 기존의 다른 연구들 - 즉 BL, PS, FL, NN, FNNs 모델 등 - 보다 더 높은 정확도를 가진 퍼지모델을 생성함을 보인다. 생성함을 보인다.

스플라인 웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 영상의 다해상도 부호화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Multiresolutional Coding Based on Spline Wavelet Transform)

  • ATM과 같은 광대역 통신망을 위한 영상 부호화기는 다해상도 영상의 지원과 영상의 점진적 전송, 셀손실로 인한 피해의 최소화 등 망의 특성을 고려해야만 한다. 기존의 변환 부호화기방식으로는 이런 특성의 고려가 불가능하며, 따라서 다해상도 부호화 기법이 요구된다. 다해상도 부호화 기법으로는 기존의 대역분할 부호화가 있으나, 최근에는 웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 방법이 각광을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스플라인 함수를 이용하여 설계된 웨이브렛 기저를 사용하여 대역 분할을 시도하고, 분할된 각 대역 별로 엔트로피 제한 벡터 양지화를 행하는 다해상도 영상 부호화기를 생각해 본다. 특별히 광대역 망에서의 셀 손실을 대비하기 위해 스플라인 웨이브렛으로 변환된 영상의 대역별 특성을 분석하여, 각 대역별 우선 순위를 설정하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과 제안한 부호화기는 기존의 일반적인 벡터양자화기보다 약 3dB 이상의 성능 향상을 보였고, 다른 웨이브렛 기저를 사용한 엔트로피 제한 벡터양자화기 보다는 비트율에 따라서 $0.5\sim2dB$ 정도의 성능 향상을 가져옴을 볼 수 있었다.

  • This study, as a basic research to manage a Chinese Medicine Health Promotion Center by way of showing an example, is a before and after experiment research for simple group to verify a difference with cholesterol, health status and perception of health in order to confirm a effectiveness of diet and regimen according to the 4th status of physical constitution. Research object was chosen of 42 persons who operate a physical constitutional dietary regimen among them after selecting professors and clinical nurses (55 persons) majoring in the science of nursing who participated in Chinese Medicine-oriented Nurse Training Course from Aug. of 2001 to Feb. of 2002 all over the country. Diagnostic tools for physical constitution was used of the questionary that is currently consisted of physical constitution grouping test in Eastern & Western Diagnose Center of K Medical Center, and rating of health status was used of the tool that standardized CMI(Cornell Medical Index) to be available for Korean, and perception measurement for health status was used of a visual analogue scale for the health status that each one perceive personally, and physiological status was measured of cholesterol in blood. Analysis for the collected data was carried out by percentage, $X^2$ test, paired t-test according to research object by using SPSS, and the results of this study are as follows. 1) There was no difference with cholesterol before or after the experiment for objects. As a result of estimation about difference with health status by areas before or after the experiment, there are more improved result in eyes, ears, digestive organs, bones and sinews organs, frequency of a disorder, habit, adaptation status, angry, healthy status than before the experiment. As a whole, after the experiment the health was more improved than before the experiment. As the result to inspect a difference of health perception between before and after experiment, after the experiment the health perception level was improved than before, however there was no meaningful differences. 2) As the result to inspect a difference of cholesterol between before and after experiment according to object's physical constitution, in the case of So-yang-in(a person with the minimum male: according to the male and female principles(the sun and the moon)) among the 4th status of physical constitution there was only meaningful difference statistically, however, after the experiment their cholesterol's value was increased. As the result to inspect the difference of health status between before and after the experiment according to physical constitution, all of Ta-um-in(a person with maximum the female), So-yang-in(with the minimum male), So-um-in(with the minimum female) had a meaningful difference before and after the experiment, which means that in all case by physical constitutional groups, after the experiment their health status was more improved than before the experiment. As the result to inspect a difference of health perception between before and after according to physical constitutions, in the case of Tae-um-in and So-um-in, average score after the experiment was risen than before the experiment so that it means that the level of health perception was improved, however, there was no meaning statistically. According to the above results, if continuous diet and regimen by each physical constitutions could be implemented, it is certain that the health could be maintained and promoted. And, what we are healthy is for oneself to feel it subjectively. However, I think that cholesterol score in blood that we can view objectively could be changed distinctly if we can implement a strict diet and regimen. Accordingly, it is necessary for a method and period of experiment to be more strict and longer. According to the above results, I would like to suggest as follows. 1) In order to understand health status by Korean's physical constitutions and to generalize it, these research will be repeated against much more objects that could be selected by proper grouping method to consider a representative. 2) It is necessary for a research to inspect health status by physical constitution by developing a health status measurement tool that has higher confidence and propriety based on physical constitutional theory.

연결성 모델링을 활용한 빈집 녹지화 우선순위 평가 (Evaluation of Priorities for Greening of Vacant Houses using Connectivity Modeling)

  • Urban problems are constantly occurring around the world due to rapid industrialization and population decline. In particular, as the number of vacant houses is gradually increasing as the population decreases, it is necessary to prepare countermeasures. A plan to utilize vacant houses has emerged to restore the natural environment of the urban ecosystem where forest destruction, damage to habitats of wild animals and plants, and disconnection have occurred due to large-scale development. Through connectivity analysis, it is possible to understand the overall ecosystem flow based on the movement of species and predict the effect when vacant houses are converted into green spaces. Therefore, this study analyzed the green area network to confirm the possibility of greening of vacant houses neglected in Jeonju based on circuit theory. Using Circuitscape and Least-cost path, we tried to identify the connectivity of green areas and propose an ecological axis based on the analysis. In order to apply the resistance values required for analysis based on previous studies, the 2020 subdivision land cover data were integrated into the major classification evaluation items. When the eight forests in the target site were analyzed as the standard, the overall connectivity and connectivity between forests in the area were high, so it is judged that the existing green areas can perform various functions, such as species movement and provision of habitats. Based on the results of the connectivity analysis, the importance of vacant houses was calculated and the top 20 vacant houses were identified, and it was confirmed that the higher the ranking, the more positive the degree of landscape connectivity was when converted to green areas. In addition, it was confirmed that the results of analyzing the least-cost path based on the resistance values such as connectivity analysis and the existing conceptual map showed some differences when comparing the ecological axes in the form. As a result of checking the vacant houses corresponding to the relevant axis based on the width standards of the main and sub-green areas, a total of 30 vacant houses were included in the 200m width and 6 vacant houses in the 80m width. It is judged that the conversion of vacant houses to green space can contribute to biodiversity conservation as well as connectivity between habitats of species as it is coupled with improved green space connectivity. In addition, it is expected to help solve the problem of vacant houses in the future by showing the possibility of using vacant houses.

압전 수정진동자의 밀도법 기반 위상 최적설계 (Density-based Topology Design Optimization of Piezoelectric Crystal Resonators)

  • 본 논문에서는 압전 수정진동자의 설계민감도 해석 및 위상 최적설계 기법을 개발하였다. 압전 수정진동자는 가해지는 전하에 의해 두께방향 전단 변형하게 되거나, 혹은 그 반대방향으로 기계 변형에 의해 전기적 신호를 검출하게 된다. 엄밀한 두께방향 전단해석을 위해 두께방향으로 고차 보간을 하는 고차 민들린(Mindlin) 판 이론을 도입하였다. 압전 수정진동자에서 수정판은 부도체이기 때문에 전기적 신호를 검출하거나 전기적 신호에 의해 수정판을 기계적으로 진동시키기 위해 수정판의 상/하 표면에 얇은 전극경을 도포한다. 비록 전극경이 매우 얇기는 하지만 그 무게와 형상에 따라 진동자의 거동이 달라지기 때문에, 설계민감도 해석 및 위상 최적설계를 위한 설계변수는 전극경의 질량 밀도와 관계된다. 따라서 위상 최적설계 문제는 두께방향 전단 변형에너지를 최대화하는 최적의 전극경 분포를 구하도록 구성한다. 또한 보다 의미있는 설계안을 얻기 위해 전극경의 재료량과 면적에 제약조건을 부여한다. 두께방향 전단 주파수(고유치)와 상응하는 모드형상(고유벡터)에 대한 설계구배는 고유벡터 확장법을 이용한 해석적 설계민감도 해석법을 통해 매우 효율적이고 정확하게 계산될 수 있다. 수치예제를 통해 제안된 해석적 설계민감도가 유한차분 설계민감도와 비교하여 매우 효율적이고 정확하게 계산됨을 확인하였다. 또한 위상 최적설계를 통해 도출된 최적 전극경 설계가 모드형상과 두께방향 전단 변형에너지를 개선시킴을 확인하였다.

감지추구자적매체습관(感知追求者的媒体习惯) (Media Habits of Sensation Seekers)

  • 对营销和广告经理来说, 理解消费者的偏好和使用的媒体类型是非常有必要的, 尤其是在如今市场细分的情况下. 清晰的理解能帮助经理更有效的选择合适的媒体. 而且由于性格特征的不同, 个人对媒体类型的选择和使用都不相同. 本文测试了一个性格特征, 即感知追求. 这是在测试 "新" 媒体偏好和使用的文献中尚未出现的. 感知追求是被定义为 "一种对变化, 新颖和复杂的感觉的需要和经历. 以及为承担这些经历愿意承受生理的和社会的风险" (Zuckerman 1979). 根据文献回顾, 我们提出了6个假设. 我们尤其关注使用与满足理论(Katz 1959), 这个理论解释了为什么人们选择媒体类型和他们使用不同媒体类型的动机的原因. 目前的理论表明高感知追求者(HSS), 由于他们对新颖, 激励和非传统的内容和想象的需要, 他们会更多的使用新媒体. 因此, 我们假设高感知追求者比低感知追求者(LSS)(H2a)或中等感知追求者(MSS)(H2b)会更多的使用网络而不是广播(H1a)或印刷媒体(H1b). 另外, 高感知追求者有更多的社交活动及朋友, 因此他们会比低感知追求者(a) 和中等感知追求者(b)更多的使用社交网络网页例如Facebook/MySpace(H3) 以及聊天室(H4). 感知追求者可以显示出一系列的行为包括抑制解除. 我们认为具有高水平去抑制的人们比低水平或中等水平的人们会更多的使用社交网络如Facebook/MySpace (H5) 和聊天室(H6). 我们的数据来源于对参加极限运动的参与者的网上调查. 为得到这个群组的信息, 我们使用雪球样本技术的提高版, 即连锁推荐方法来选择应答者. 这种方法被认为是对隐藏人群进行有效估算的方法(Heckathorn, 1997). 最终的有效样本包括1108名应答者. 主要是年轻人(56.36%在34岁以下), 男性(86.1%)和中产阶级(58.7%的家庭收入超过50,000美元). 我们用这个样本来进行感知追求的研究. 我们用简要感知追求量表来测试感知追求(Hoyle et al. 2007). 我们用自我报告使用过的不同媒体类型来测量媒体使用. 结果并不支持H1a和b. 高感知追求者并没有更多的使用网络这样的媒体. 事实上, 同其他的媒体类型相比, 这个平均水平是较低的. 高感知追求者使用最多的媒体类型时印刷媒体, 这说明了一种对主流的反抗. 结果支持H2a和b. 高感知追求者比低感知或中等感知追求者更多的使用网络. 进一步的分析揭示了在高感知和低感知追求者之间在使用印刷媒体方面有显著不同. 高感知追求者在他们感兴趣的极限运动方面会追求更专业的印刷出版物. 假设3a和b 揭示了高感知追求者比低感知或中等感知追求者更多的使用Facebook/MySpace. 在使用聊天室方面低感知和高感知追求者之间没有显著差距. 所以结果也不支持假设H4a, 但是H4b的结果是显著的. 不同抑制解除水平的应答者被认为使用Facebook/MySpace 和聊天室的水平也不同. 去抑制水平高比低水平或中等水平的使用Facebook/MySpace的水平高. 所以H5a和b 被支持. 类似的, H6b也被支持. 去抑制水平高的人们使用聊天室的概率显著多于中等水平的但并不多于低水平的人们(H6a). 这些结果为管理者提供了一些有趣的见解. 第一, 尽管高感知追求者比低感知或中等感知追求者更多的使用在线媒体, 但他们使用在线媒体仍然少于印刷或广播媒体. 广告执行者们不应该对这个重要的客户群过分的强调在线媒体. 第二, 社交媒体, 例如Facebook/MySpace和聊天室会是接近这个群体的有潜力的方法. 最后, 对去抑制水平高的群体, 有公共关系方面的启示. 这些个体更倾向于一些社会风险的行为. 这些直接的启示包括因特网捕食者和未来的雇主. 本研究的一个不足是受访者都是参与极限运动的. 这本身就是一个高感知追求者活动. 更大范围的人群需要被测试.
