The purpose of this study is to investigate the improvement of prediction performance and changes in variable importance in SEM-ANN two-stage analysis. 366 cosmetics repurchase-related survey data were analyzed and the results were presented. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, in SEM-ANN two-stage analysis, SEM and ANN models were trained with train data and predicted with test data, respectively, and the R² was showed. As a result, the prediction performance was doubled from SEM 0.3364 to ANN 0.6836. Looking at this degree of R² improvement as the effect size f² of Cohen (1988), it corresponds to a very large effect at 110%. Second, as a result of comparing changes in normalized variable importance through SEM-ANN two-stage analysis, variables with high importance in SEM were also found to have high importance in ANN, but variables with little or no importance in SEM became important in ANN. This study is meaningful in that it increased the validity of the comparison by using the same learning and evaluation method in the SEM-ANN two-stage analysis. This study is meaningful in that it compared the degree of improvement in prediction performance and the change in variable importance through SEM-ANN two-stage analysis.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the importance-performance of clinical nutrition management in convalescent hospitals. The research was carried out based on questionnaires administered from March to April, 2015 to 73 dietitians at 40 convalescent hospitals in the Gyeongnam area. There was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores for importance (4.01/5.00) and performance (2.95/5.00) of clinical nutrition management. The importance and performance grid analysis showed that participation in a nutritional management committee, administration of patients using a cooperation program among hospital departments, cooperation with a medical team on patient's nutrition status, nutrition initial assessment, nutrition care process for patients showing malnutrition, nutrition care process for tube feeding patients, management of a therapeutic diet, meal management using dietary slip instructions including a therapeutic diet, and explication of a therapeutic diet for patients scored high regarding importance and performance (doing great area). Medical records on patient's nutrition management, and nutrition counseling for requested patient scored low regarding the importance and high regarding performance (overdone area). Participation in medical rounds, personal nutrition education for patients, group nutrition education for patients, nutrition education for medical teams, development of a menu for therapeutic diet and standardized recipes, and provision of information on diet therapy for patients after discharge scored low regarding importance and performance (low priority area). Accreditation of convalescent hospitals and interest of medical professionals in clinical nutrition management were effective variables for the importance-performance gap of clinical nutrition management. In conclusion, the accreditation process and positive awareness of medical professionals with regard to clinical nutrition management had positive effects on reduction of the importance-performance gap in clinical nutrition management at convalescent hospitals. The strength of clinical nutrition management in the accreditation and development of an education program for increasing medical team or administrator interest in clinical nutrition management could lead to improvement of clinical nutrition management for elderly patients in convalescent hospitals.

Purpose : The purpose of this study were to examine the degree of job duty importance and difficulty of nutrition teachers in elementary school and then to make their future duties and roles clearly. Methods : The duties of nutrition teachers were classified into four fields such as foodservice management, nutrition education, nutrition counseling and educational experience of Korean agricultural products, and then each field were divided into job duties and job tasks. The subjects was 139 dietitians at elementary schools in Dague and Kyungpook Province who appraised the degree of importance and difficulty of the above four job duties with the Likert 5-point scale through a questionnaire survey. Results : From the results of the survey, it was found that every dietitian had highly assessed the importance of the four job duties of nutrition teachers. In a survey of the degree of job duty importance and difficulty on the dietitians, subjects recognized the following such as haccp management in the field of foodservice management is of the most importance(4.30), and the personal management has the most difficulty (3.80). In the field of nutrition education, the work of establishment nutrition education plan is of the most importance(4.33), and the developing of nutrition education materials and programsn are the most difficulty (4.13). In the field of nutrition counselling, students of that than parents and teachers counselling is of the most importance (4.15) and the most difficulty (4.08). Finally, in the field of our agricultural products experience education, which of he work is the most importance(4.07), and difficulty (4.02). Conclusion : Therefore, it is judged that nutrition teachers in the future should not only have a foodservice management, as their main job duty, but also aid in constructing life-long health management system for students and teachers by conducting a nutrition education and counseling, and also exert their energies in the job duties of menu development and experience education utilizing our agricultural products.

Purpose: This study was to investigate the belief in evidence-based practice, awareness of importance and performance of intravenous infusion and pressure ulcer evidence-based practice guidelines among nurses in a tertiary general hospital. Methods: The subjects of this study were 217 nurses working in a tertiary general hospital. Data collection was performed between February 11 and February 25, 2022. Data analysis was conducted descriptive statistics, t-test, hierarchical regression analysis, and Importance-Performance Analysis. Results: The mean score of belief for evidence-based practice among novice nurses was 3.34 out of 5, while preceptor nurses scored a mean of 3.41 out of 5. There was no significant difference in belief scores between novice nurses and preceptor nurses (t=-1.21, p=.227). The factors influencing the performance of evidence-based practice guidelines for intravenous infusion were belief in evidence-based practice (β=.14, p=.009) and importance of intravenous infusion (β=.51, p<.001), and the factors influencing the performance of evidence-based practice guidelines for pressure ulcer were belief in evidence-based practice (β=.15, p=.002) and importance of pressure ulcer (β=.65, p<.001). Importance-Performance Analysis of the evidence-based practice guidelines of two groups were used to identify common and different items. Conclusion: To improve the performance of evidence-based practice guidelines, it is necessary to enhance the evidence-based practice belief and importance of evidence-based practice guidelines. In particular, evidence-based practice should be provided to improve nursing quality through education on items of low-importance and low-performance and items of high-importance but low-performance guidelines identified through Importance-Performance Analysis.

In a few studies about product involvement there was confusion in the construct of involvement especially in association with importance. Due to the confusion of the construct unanticipated and inconsistent results were reported in some cases. So this study was mainly to identify the relationship between clothing importance and clothing involvement and also investigated the casual relationships among consumers n, value, clothing importance, clothing involvement fashion opinion leadership, and shopping behavior. The data were collected from 429 female adults using questionnaire, and were analysed with actor and path analysis. Results can be summarized as follows. First, clothing importance was the separate concept from clothing involvement, though they were closely related. Second. it was revealed that the main casual path was valuerlongrightarrowclothing importancelongrightarrowclothing involvementlongrightarrowfashion opinion leadership, shopping preference, shopping frequency, and shopping time. On the whole, the affective dimension of clothing involvement mainly affected them, and consumer's age negatively affected fashion opinion leadership and shopping behavior.

This study compared and analyzed the job importance that site managers perceived by dividing the study scope into customized and expansion remodeling projects and deriving the job descriptions from previous studies. As a result, a total of 7 construction stages and 53 job descriptions were derived. As job importance in customized remodeling projects, removal and demolition works were the most important, followed by preliminary survey, and repair and reinforcement works. In addition, as job importance in expansion remodeling projects, preliminary survey is the most important, followed by civil engineering work, and repair and reinforcement works. It is considered that the job importance of the remodeling projects derived in this study will contribute to improving their job efficiency in the future.

The purpose of this study is to investigate on the shopping orientation and the importance of store attributes of luxury brand consumer. A questionnaire survey was administered to 350 female consumers over twenties who live in Seoul metropolitan area and Kyung-ki area. 324 data were analyzed by factor analysis, chi-square, ANOV A, correlation, and t-test. The results were as follows. 1) As a result of factor analysis, five dimensions were identified for shopping orientation: pursuit of ostentation and fashion, pursuit of pleasure, pursuit of economy, pursuit of personality, and pursuit of store convenience. 2) According to the factor analysis, the importance of store attributes were categorized in three factors: product and store service-conscious, price-conscious, and buying convenience-conscious. 3) Regarding the relation between shopping orientation and importance of store attributes, significant differences were found. 4) There were significant differences in according to demographic variables in terms of shopping orientation and importance of store attributes and store patronage.

A key factor of competitiveness of a firm is technology innovation including product and process innovation. This paper explores the importance and performance of innovation in IT industry across manufacturing and service business. Using importance-performance analysis based on a survey of Korean manufacturing and service firms, we find the characteristics of innovation in IT under the context of industry difference. Out study indicate that Korean IT firms need to recognize the importance of technology innovation and enhance the performance in some areas. In future research, we will expand the boundary of innovation into non-technology innovation as well as service-specific innovation.

This study focuses on importance level analysis of environmentally-friendly planning factors using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AMP). A network, where links have different capacities, is considered to be in functioning state if a specified amount of flow can be transmitted through the network. In this paper, we consider the measures of importance of a link in such networks. We define the structural importance and reliability importance of a link when the required amount of flow is given. We also present the performability importance, which can be used to determine which links should be improved first in order to make the greatest improvement in the expected maximum flow of network. Numerical examples are presented as well for illustrative purpose.
