This study was performed to identify the relationships between parents' nurturing behavior and preschoolers' creativity. The differences of parents' behavior and children's creativity by children's sex were also analyzed. The subjects were one hundred and four children(54 boys and 50 girls) and their mothers. Parents' nurturing behavior was assessed by a nurturing behavior questionnaire administered to the mothers, preschoolers' creativity was rated by the author through observation of the children's responses. The reliability of observation was calculated from 10 among the 104 children. The reliability coefficient was .96. The results were as follows: First, there were significant differences in parents' behavior according to the child's sex. Girls' parents showed more affective and achievement oriented attitude compared to the boys' parents. Second, there were also significant differences in .children's creativity according to sex. Girls' originality and flexibility were higher than boys, however, significant differences between girls and boys in fluency and imagination were not found. Third, parents' nurturing behavior and children's creativity were strongly related to each other. Children's imaginations were strongly related to the mothers' behavior. Children's originality and flexibility were also significantly related to their parents' behavior, but children's fluency did not show relations with their parents' behavior.

This thesis attempts to describe the basis and value system respectively selected by opinions pro and against bio engineering technology and to induce discussions on the basis of the concept called 'two culture' issue by C. P. Snow - science culture, human culture, a teleological ethical theory and a deontological ethical theory, traditional eugenics, and liberalism eugenics. In addition, it will discuss about inconvenient truth about science and bio engineering which we have wrongly understood up to now - a myth on objectivity of science, autonomy of science and a scientist, a hunger of world, science expected to be responsible for all men. Lastly, it will describe study ethics and social responsibility, openness, moral imagination, self-examination, character of a bio engineer as professionalism.

Fine art production methods are frequently incorporated into animation production. The Printing Expression method is often employed among fine art production. There are three main techniques in Printing Expression: Silk Screen, Woodcut and Etching. Animations that use Silk Screen and Woodcut techniques are quite common. However, it is rare to find Etching techniques in animations. So with that being said, I would like to introduce etching animation through the work of Piotr Dumala; the well known Ink Etched film director. Also, I analyzed the characters: movement, unique texture and sensuous feeling; that only mezzotinted Etched-Animation expression technique can show. If we can expand methods on how to show our imagination through etching techniques, it can allow many directors to produce etched animation films in which they can express their imagination.

The purpose of this paper is to plan and implement e-storytelling for improving children's creativity, which consists of e-storytelling, thinking questions, and character sticker canvas. Especially It makes children draw paintings feel easier by character sticker. This webapp shows the flash animation e-storytelling and gives the question to answer by painting with a fertile imagination on the canvas as transforming the character sticker. A user can input the title of painting and store it when finish the drawing. This is an educational tool which makes educatees think more and express their ideas through questions. Therefore, we can check how much children's imagination is changed and diversed by the stored paintings.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the effect of pleasant guided imagery on the vital signs of elderly. Method: The subjects of this study were 15 elderly women. Collecting data were blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature, the degree of imagination and relaxation. Data were analyzed using SPSS PC+ program with percentage, paired t-test. Result: After practicing of pleasant guided imagery, systolic blood pressure and pulse rate were significantly lowered than before practicing of pleasant guided imagery. After practicing of pleasant guided imagery, Diastolic blood pressure and body temperature were not significantly changed. After practicing of pleasant guided imagery, the degree of imagination and relaxation were relatively higher in old women. Conclusion: Pleasant guided imagery can be used for elderly patients with hypertension. And it can be used to promote relaxation of elderly with stress.

This study tries to investigate the relationship between physical perception and creative thinking of dancers by dance imagery training programs. The inner imagery and the external expression of dancers are a divergent expression process of autosuggestion, and substantiate the relationship between physical perception and creative thinking. The key point consists in the active thinking process of problem recognition and problem solving by imagination, and means a new perceptivity and the communication capability. Dance imagery is a perception training based on the integration principle of body and soul, and so dancers should create a new approach of communication through the diversity of wide inner imagination and the active thinking of external expression.

This study aims to identify on the possibility of the convergence education in engineering. Delphi survey on a panel of experts was chosen to be the main methodology for this study, drawing the main factors of convergence education in engineering. From Oct. 10 to Nov. 25, 2013, a three-round Delphi survey was implemented to collect data. A panel of eighteen experts were involved in this survey. For statistical processing, descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were carried out along with internal reliability test on the survey instrument. First, the possible convergence of disciplines in engineering were found to Design, Industrial design, ICT, Health care services, Video media, Business and Administration, Organizational psychology, Sociology, Humanities and Aesthetics. Second, the convergence education factors to be most important demanded creativity, idea generation techniques such as the expression of thought communication skills, technical expertise in the field per line, understanding of basic knowledge, verification of common elements among different disciplines, understanding of other disciplines fusion in engineering, artistry and imagination, etc. Third, requirements for the talented person of convergence were the open mind and enthusiasm, creative imagination, accept the opinions of others, skills capacity as a creative expression, and challenges. Above-mentioned requirements are found to be the necessary elements for convergence education.

An actor should be well-trained at the natural breathing and phonation in order for a good diction. This thesis is focused on the breathing training method at the pre-phonation stage. The past research on the breathing and phonation training was generally for vocal music, yoga, or those which were approached by the medical view point, whereas there are not so many researches which are approached for an acting training even though it is quite important for actors. In addition, such researches have been given an overview of breathing, phonation and diction. Therefore, this thesis which is focused on the breathing training at the pre-phonation stage suggests the natural breathing training method through the imagination and image in the various situations which could exist in the drama.
