  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the present state of a outdoor space planning and to analysis plan characteristics in based on regional characteristics in Housing complex plan. The analysis result of this study is as follows : first, we know that the right of regional characteristics is appearing variously every research workers. also an analysis about regional characteristics that should be considered in housing complex plan was insufficient. Second, regional characteristics can be classified into 5 factors. These are classified as a context of location, city link, life atmosphere, needs of locals and creation of image. Third, it has originality against other housing complex to graft items connected with 'U contest' on outdoor space planning. Also, it has affirmatively effected on image of Buk-gu and recognition of Dong beyn-dong and Seo beyn-dong. It is get out of the uniform design by a planning based on land and surrounding environment in arrangement and forms. Also residents have the satisfaction and pride in arrangement considering the climate of a region and security of the green space.

  • This study analyzed the characteristics of spatial expression in the Barcelona Pavilion to be based on tectonics. Mies pointed out the image of materiality about the material rather than the process of tectonics using the material, and he also expressed demateriality in the image of each material through the reflection. To be liberated from structural matters, the wall has been introduced. He intended to show the design plan as the independent structural system, however, the wall actually seems to be supporting the roof that shows rather clearly self-contradictory because of the expression of materiality in the material. In terms of architectural elements; wall, roof, column, floor, and so forth, tectonic expression and abstract aesthetics stands face to face, because of hiding the productional process and transforming to line and surface in the image of materiality. The interior of the glass wall seems fairly closed space from the exterior, because materiality and reflection of materials of columns and podium. The character of experiential space is inconsistent and fragmentary because of the splendid images from maternality and reflection on the wall, and collision with the reality and the image the wall reflects, even though the geometrical space of the Pavilion's plan has the mutual penetrability and organic character.

  • In this paper, we present two types of vision algorithm that mobile robot has CCD camera. for obstacle avoidance and path plan. One is simple algorithm that compare with grey level from input images. Also, The mobile robot depend on image processing and move command from PC host. we has been studied self controlled mobile robot system with CCD camera. This system consists of TMS320F240 digital signal processor, step motor, RF module and CCD camera. we used wireless RF module for movable command transmitting between robot and host PC. This robot go straight until 95 percent filled screen from input image. And the robot recognizes obstacle about 95 percent filled something, so it could avoid the obstacle and conclude new path plan. Another is complex algorithm that image preprocessing by edge detection, converting, thresholding and image processing by labeling, segmentation, pixel density calculation.

  • The purpose of the city planning is to share the future image of the area where all citizens sympathize and to function as tools to implement a policy. Recently, the city of Seoul has established the community plan to manage the city as neighborhood units, but there are several issues that need to be addressed, such as lack of practical strategies. Therefore, this study studied the neighborhood unit plan in terms of feasibility. The comparative analysis is the masterplan of the City of Seattle in the U.S and the city of Yokohama in Japan, which are known to accomplish advanced urban planning. As a result, three factors were needed; there are 1) a masterplan that acts as an action plan, 2) administrative support tools such as financial and human resources that encourage people to participate in urban planning with enthusiasm, and 3) a management system that continuously manages the plan itself. This result is expected to be a reference for the establishment of method for the implementation of neighborhood unit plan in Seoul.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the dosimetric effect on real PTV (planning target volume) coverage and safety of OARs (organs at risk) at various image fusion protocol-based radiosurgery plan for pituitary adenomas. Real PTV coverage and its variation was acquired and maximum dose and the volume absorbing above threshold dose were also measured for verifying the safety of optic pathway and brainstem. The protocol that can reduce superior-inferior uncertainty by using both axial and coronal MR (magnetic resonance) image sets shows relatively lower values than that of case using only axial image sets. As a result, the image fusion protocol with both axial and coronal image sets can be beneficial to generate OAR-weighted radiosurgery plan.

  • This paper inquires the elements of emotional design and the current conditions of its application in order to examine the particularities arise when planning emotional interior design for a women's clinic. Research was done by studying plans for elements of emotional interior design while site investigation was done to find out the status of women's clinic lobby. Six women's clinic in Ulsan were chosen as subjects while survey was done based on the studied emotional plan elements. The data evaluation was classified by the installed properties and substituted with image scale using emotional mensuration. The outcome is as follows; First, elements of emotional interior design was composed of elements making up the space's comfort and aesthetic appreciation, and elements stimulating human's five senses leading to psychological treatment. Therefore, the plan for interior design should merge the design elements that stimulate senses and social elements into one unified concept. Second, the composited elements within the plan should strive to stimulate sights by contracts and changes and add symbolic or meaningful elements based on the principles of design. In so doing, the plan should incorporate an aesthetic orderliness and a coherent image. Third, the interior of women's clinics should not only have psychological comfort but also liveliness and ease that suits 20-30 old women. To conclude, Color, form, finishing materials and texture should be selected with a unified style in mind and the plan itself should strive to generate playfulness though harmonious coordination.

  • Traumatic fracture-dislocations of the hip frequently result from high-energy injury, and hip dislocations are commonly associated with severe concomitant injuries. Sciatic nerve injury often accompanies traumatic fracture-dislocation of the hip, but neurologic examination at the time of injury is difficult in severely traumatized patients with decreased consciousness. We present such a case of multiple traumas with traumatic hip dislocation and sciatic nerve injury after reduction, and we found that magnetic resonance image (MRI) played an important role in developing a management plan.

  • The purpose this study is to segments apparel market based on difference real-self image and ideal-self image. The objects of the study were to prepare for the establishment of marketing strategy and alternative plan intended to users which are needed in subdivided market, after analyzing according to what the subdivided market is divided into due to the difference real-self image and idea-self image and what difference do they show as a demographic special quality or as a general active special quality in each subdivided market. Factor analysis was performed to determine the leading difference real-self image and ideal-self image, and cluster analysis was employed to identify groups of respondents based on the delineated five image difference factors. Based on the finding, three distinct groups were formed: ideal-self image seeker group, moderators group, real-self image seeker group. And logistic regression was used to assess the relative importance that demographic characteristics play in determining the segmentation. The results of this study show statistically significant differences among the three groups in terms of demographic. Marketing and management implications for effectively targeting the segments are discussed.
