Internal Marketing and Organization Effectiveness on the Hospitals (병원의 내부마케팅과 조직유효성)

  • Lately there is an increasing recognition about the significance of marketing activity towards the internal staff of a company as a group of customer. However, there has been little study on the marketing towards the internal staff of Hospitals. This study aims to provide basic information enabling the planning and implementation of internal marketing of hospitals by illuminating the impact of it on the management of staff. The conclusion of the study shows that the internal marketing and organization effectiveness, it was revealed that the higher the degree of recognition on the working environment, regulation on leave, participation into decision-making, education in the sphere of internal marketing, the higher the organization effectiveness, and that there is no meaningful association of compensation with the organization effectiveness.

Mediating Effects of Trusts on the Relationship between Human Capitals and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in Hotel Firms (인적자본과 조직시민행동의 관계에서 신뢰의 매개효과 -호텔기업을 중심으로- )

  • The purpose of this study tried to reveal how human capitals of deluxe hotels located in Seoul affects corporate trust and organizational citizenship behaviors. In addition, it tries to find out the mediating effect that the trust among coworkers have contributed to human capital and organizational citizenship behaviors. The result of this study shows that Human capital have a great effect on the trust among employees and organizational citizenship behaviors. And it has been outed that the trust between the company and employees is a mediating effect between human capital and organizational citizenship behaviors. The results of this research shows that for competitive advantage under the competitive environment of the hotel industry, in addition to human resource management and organizational management, the management system which emphasizes the importance of human capital and the trust among company members should be built.

  • The study acknowledges the importance of philosophical basis such as paradigms and epistemology in knowledge organization system development. The study aims at providing implications of Rorty's neo-pragmatism on knowledge organization system development. The study discussed Rorty's main concepts - Anti-Dualism, Languages, Ethnocentrism, and Solidarity, and further how these elements are utilized in system design. The study focuses on philosophical basis, knowledge organization system development approach, and methodology. It has values in that it provides implications for other philosophical discussions to be applicable to knowledge organization.

Effects of Organizational Culture on Organizational Trust and Organizational Commitment in Automobile Manufacturing Enterprises (자동차 제조기업의 조직문화가 조직신뢰와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was intended to analyze the effects of Organizational Culture on manufacturing(automobile) employees' Organizational Trust and Organizational Commitment. A proposed model based on previous research was empirically tested via structural equation modeling by AMOS using 362 valid samples collected from current employees of G-automobile Enterprises in Chang Won. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. First, Organizational Culture had a partially direct impact on Organizational Commitment. Second, Organizational Culture had a partially direct impact on Organizational Trust. Third, Organizational Trust had direct impact on Organizational Commitment. It has been confirmed that Organizational Trust has a partial mediation effect(full mediation effect) in the process of Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment. This study showed similar results as other previous studies.

The Moderating Role of Organizational Feedback in The Relationship Between Employee's Intrinsic Motivation and Organizational Commitment (종업원의 내재적 동기부여와 조직몰입 간의 관계에 있어서 조직피드백의 조절역할)

  • This study investigated the effects employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational feedback on organizational commitment and the moderating role organizational feedback on the relationship between employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational commitment in the workplace. Data were collected from 287 employees in the manufacturing firms. Results indicated that employee's intrinsic motivation had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Results also indicated that organizational feedback moderated the relationship between employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational commitment. Especially, The positive (+) relationship between employee's intrinsic motivation and organizational commitment was strengthened when organizational feedback was high than it was low. Implications for practice and directions for future research are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the analysis on the effect of incentive gap of teacher's merit-pay on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The study verified the hypothetical path model and analyzed the effects of incentive gap of teacher's merit-pay, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The subjects of the study are 762 elementary and secondary school teachers. The results of the study are as follows: Firstly, it was found that there are significant correlations among incentive gap of teacher's merit-pay, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Secondly, incentive gap of teacher's merit-pay affects organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Lastly, S grade teachers of teacher's merit-pay are more organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior level were higher than A and B grade teacher. Therefore teacher's merit-pay have positive impacts to the teachers.

  • As construction projects become more complex and larger, the role of the organization becomes more important. In order to increase the performance of the construction management(CM) site organization, it is necessary to find an organizational structure suitable for the CM, lead an organizational culture correctly, and increase the job satisfaction of the members. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study the influence of the organizational structure of the CM site organization on the organizational culture and job satisfaction. As results of the study, the organizational structure of the CM site organization was the highest at 3.51 for formalization and the lowest at 2.71 for centralization(out of 5). In addition, as results of correlation analysis, organizational structure was found to have a correlation with organizational culture and job satisfaction. This study is considered to be helpful in planning an organizational structure suitable for the CM site organization.

  • This paper attempted to explore the plausible reasons why change activities to build up organizational trust might be often short-lived, even though it can become the most valuable social capital for an organization. Based upon a reference data collected from a large company in various methods, retrospective rationalization, difficulties embedded in the processes of realizing the five bases of organizational trust (such as openness, consistence, fairness, consideration, and pride), and top management's negative conviction were identified and discussed as fundamental reasons for the distrust in the usefulness of organizational trust. In addition, middle managers' overcautiousness about their superiors' feeling and organizational cynicism as contributing factors for the distrust in the form of vicious circle were discussed.

  • This study analyzed that adjustment roles of the organization and Information System strategy suitability factors between influence and introduction outcome factors in the IT outsourcing in government offices. Influence factors of IT outsourcing are organization factor(information system maturity, CEO's support), trade factor(asset speciality, uncertainty, using degree of information system), risk factor(risk of security, risk of increase in cost, risk of losing autonomy). And outcome factors are set as economic effect and technology effect. We analyzed that organization and IS strategy suitability factors as moderator variables. Results are the followings. It was analyzed that organization and IS strategy suitability factors are in charge of adjusting role among information system maturity which is lower variable of organization factor, CEO's support, uncertainty of trade factor's lower variable, risk of security which is risk factor's lower variable, risk of increase in cost, loss of autonomy. Therefore, in order for organization to increase the outcome of information technology, organization strategy and IS strategy should be promoted in combined manner. However, it was analyzed that strategy suitability could not take the adjusting role between asset specialty and introduction outcome.
