This study investigated the user's attitude to the nature trail called Gubulgil in Gunsan reservoir area and evaluated the quality of user's satisfaction of the trails and their facilities by importance-performance analysis (IPA). User's evaluation was achieved through questionnaire survey and total 283 pieces of subjects were used for the analysis. The results are as follows. Firstly, importance value of circularity of trails was very high, and it has great implication to ordinary trails which connect ecological, historical and cultural spots routinely and linearly. Secondly, through the IPA, relatively dissatisfied attributes were parking lots, direction boards, storytelling, convenient facilities and encountering of wildlife. Expansion of parking lots can cause the environmental disruption, so running a shuttle service from Gunsan downtown to the reservoir at weekends can be more reasonable. In case of ecological and historical information delivery, softwares like storytelling contents with sense of realism as well as hardwares of informative signboards are very important in nature trails. Encountering wildlife in trails is fascinating experience but it means visitors may disturb wildlife habitats. So route design should be done very carefully not to intrude their territories.

최근 4차 산업 시대의 흐름에 따라 건설공사에서는 최첨단 기술의 적용으로 나날이 발전하고 있는데 반해, 건설현장에서는 지속적인 안전사고가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구의 주목적은 안전관리자 계획단계에서 수행되는 업무들의 중요도와 예방효과를 전문가 의견을 통한 IPA 분석을 활용하여 상관관계를 도출하고 안전관리에 기여할 수 있는 주요 안전 계획 업무와 개선이 필요한 업무를 파악함으로써, 궁극적으로 건설안전재해사고 발생을 줄이는 데 있다.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the gap in perceived importance-performance between dietitians and food service workers regarding school food service sanitation and to analyze items that should be given priority for improvement. Data were collected by 440 food service workers and 71 dietitians in Gyeongbuk province. All statistical analyses were conducted using the SAS package program (version 8.2 for Windows) for descriptive analysis, t-test, and importance-performance analysis (IPA). According to the performance analysis, there were significant differences between dietitians and food service workers in 18 out of the 20 items. In all of 18 items, the evaluated performance scores according to the food service workers were higher than those of the dietitians. In addition, the results of IPA confirmed the following areas as improvement priorities: proper hand washing of food service workers, cleanliness of trays and utensils, monitoring of temperature of refrigerated/frozen foods and quality of the food materials during inspection, proper washing and disinfection of raw vegetables and fruits and maintenance of CCP records, and control of food holding temperature and methods. In conclusion, dietitians should perform education about sanitation management items that have low perceived importance and should make a plan to improve sanitation management after understanding the gap in perceived importance-performance between dietitians and food service workers.

The purpose of this study is to present effective basic data for business management through analysis of importance and performance of personal information protection of the elderly welfare center workers. For this purpose, the questionnaire on the protection of personal information was reconstructed based on the diagnostic level of the personal information security management level of the public institution and the questionnaire was conducted on 105 employees of the elderly welfare center in Chungbuk area. Based on the responses to the importance and the degree of performance of the personal information protection of the elderly welfare center employees, technical statistics and corresponding sample T-tests were conducted and the importance-performance analysis (IPA) was used. Followings are the results of this study: First, there is a statistically significant difference between the importance and the implementation of the management system for the protection of personal information of the workers in the elderly welfare center, establishment and implementation of protection measures, establishment and implementation of infringement measures. Second, IPA analysis on the protection of personal information of the workers in the elderly welfare center shows that the establishment and implementation of protection measures are the areas to maintain good performance. Third, in IPA analysis of the sub-factors of the personal information protection of the workers in the welfare center of the elderly, in the construction and management of the management system, in performing the role of the personal information protection officer and establishing and implementing protection measures, The factors of prevention of information disclosure and exposure and the safe use and management of personal information processing system were analyzed as areas requiring intensive improvement. This study is meaningful as a basic research that can raise the awareness of the personal information protection of the workers in the elderly welfare center and induce the improvement of the related work.

Purpose - In today's globalized and modern business environment, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities are considered to be essential for the sustainable development of enterprises. In addition, the corporate philanthropy that is related to CSR practices, as well as their being capable of reducing the anti-corporate sentiment of people have facilitated a qualitative forward leap into the quantitative growth phase. This study aims to undertake a comparative evaluation of corporate philanthropy through the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method focusing on service and manufacturing industries, and to eventually determine a differentiated approach that is needed for corporate philanthropy. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey responses were collected through online research on specialized companies from consumers nationwide who were aged from 20 to 60 and who are aware of corporate philanthropy. A total of 408 sheets of questionnaire survey were used. Frequency analysis was undertaken in this study. The interviewees had demographic characteristics of gender: 206 males (50.5%) and 202 females (49.5%). They also had demographic characteristics of age: 82 people were over 20 (20.1%), 96 over 30 (23.5%), 105 over 40 (25.7%), and 125 over 50 (30.7%) years of age. The distribution of interviewees' residences is as follows: 154 persons (37.7%) in the Special City, 102 persons (25.0%) in the Metropolitan City, and 152 persons (37.3%) in the Provincial Region. The interviewees have been working for the following companies: 34 persons (8.3%) in LG Display, 80 (19.6%) in KT&G, 49 (12.0%) in Amore Pacific, 42 (10.3%) in KIA Motors, 47 (11.5%) in SBS, 52 (12.8%) in Shinhan Bank, 86 (21.1%) in Asiana Airlines, and 18 (4.4%) in Hyundai Department Store. We applied the paired t-test for the IPA analysis. PASW Statistics 18 was used for statistical analysis. Results - The results of IPA analysis indicated that the importance and performance degrees in both manufacturing and service industries were significantly different. Major empirical results showed that, in consumer, social, economic, philanthropic, and environmental dimensions, in the sub-factors of philanthropy activities in both manufacturing and service industries, the importance degree was found to be higher than performance degree. Further, the average difference between importance degree and performance degree by the sub-factors of philanthropy activities. On the other hand, the average difference of environmental dimension was found to be highest in both service and manufacturing industries. Thus, while consumers consider the philanthropy activities of the environmental dimension as most important, actual companies treat performance of philanthropy activities of the environmental dimension insufficiently or negligibly to some degree. Conclusions - The differentiated approach method that is required for corporate philanthropy may be proposed to uplift corporate accomplishments by analyzing the IPA of the attributes of the sub-factors of corporate philanthropy. This is, to an extent, insufficient in the existing studies related to the use of the IPA technique, and it shows the items that are to be conducted intensively.

Recently, the number of accidents reported involving foreign laborers has risen, and the need to prevent accidents at construction sites has become more urgent. It has been found that 90 percent of construction accidents are caused by unsafe work practices, and various studies have been conducted on these practices with the aim of preventing accidents at construction sites. However, the tendency with previous studies was to average the results of survey responses, and as a result it is impossible to consider the potential risk of how many foreign laborers feel unsafe in relation with the unsafe practices. Therefore, in this study, importance-performance analysis (IPA) was improved in order to assess the potential risk of the unsafe practices of foreign laborers at construction sites in Korea. To verify the applicability of the improved IPA, a survey was carried out, and then the results were compared with those of the IPA. Through the use of the improved IPA, unsafe practices that were not found in the previous IPA but have potential risk were identified. The method proposed in this study is expected to contribute to the prevention of construction accidents of foreign workers by enabling a more efficient management.

교통정보는 운전자들이 경로를 결정할 시 혹은 자신이 주행하는 경로에 대한 상황을 확인할 때, 흔히 사용된다. 이에 인터넷 포탈 등에서는 다양한 맞춤형 교통정보 콘텐츠를 제작하여 배포하고 있다. 그러나, 현재 공공(Public Sector)에서 구축해 운전자들에게 정보를 제공하고 있는 도로전광표지(Variable Message Signs, 이하 VMS)의 경우, 각 도로 및 교통상황에 따른 운전자의 선호행태에 대한 고려 없이 불특정 다수에게 동일한 콘텐츠를 일괄적으로 제공하고 있다. 달리 말하면, 서비스가 이용자에 대한 고려보다는 관리자의 편의에 따라 제공되고 있는 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 VMS에서 제공되는 교통정보 콘텐츠에 대한 구체적인 개선방안을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 설정하였다. 이를 위하여 교통정보가 이미 하나의 서비스상품으로 취급되고 있는 점에서 착안하여, 교통 분야에서는 널리 사용되지 않지만, 마케팅 분야에서는 쉽게 접할 수 있는 기법인 IPA(Importance Performance Analysis)분석방법론을 적용하였다. IPA분석을 통하여 교통정보 제공형태, 제공주기 등의 일반사항과 교통 콘텐츠 측면의 중요도와 선호도를 동시에 조사하여 세부적인 이용자 기반 VMS 개선방안을 도출하였다.

이 연구에서는 원격대학원생 콘텐츠 구성요소에 대한 중요도-수행도 분석(IPA)을 하였다. 이를 위해 J대학 원격대학원생 221명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 콘텐츠 구성요소의 영역별 중요도는 학습 내용, 상호작용, 교수-학습 전략, 평가의 순으로, 수행도는 교수-학습 전략, 상호작용, 평가, 학습내용의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 콘텐츠 구성요소 4가지 영역, 즉 학습내용, 교수-학습 전략, 상호작용, 평가 영역 모두 중요도와 수행도 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 중요도-수행도 분석(IPA)은 영역별 및 항목별 두 차원에서 실시하였는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 학습내용은 유지관리 영역으로, 교수-학습 전략과 상호작용은 중점개선 영역으로, 평가 영역은 과잉투자 영역으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구 결과는 원격대학원 콘텐츠의 현재를 진단하고 그에 기초하여 앞으로 개선해야 할 점이 무엇인가를 가늠하는 데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for development of vinegar-based sauce and menu for foodservice institution and restaurant. To accomplish this, importance-performance analysis (IPA) was adopted as the major research method by analyzing the overall perception and characteristics of purchasing of vinegar-based sauce. A significant difference was detected in all items except package design for importance and satisfaction (p<0.01). Highest importance and satisfaction were determined for taste and convenience, respectively. Price and additive belonged to quadrant 2, where level of importance is low but satisfaction is high. Preference and satisfaction showed significant differences in all items (p<0.05). Meat and seafood belonged to quadrant 2 where level of importance is low but satisfaction is high. Developing a variety of vinegar-based sauces that meet consumers' well-being needs is needed.

This study aimed to examine the policy priorities to enhance the service quality of the agro-healing for mental health care using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The subjects were 67 people working in mental health institutions. The result of the IPA for the design of the agro-healing policy, in a total of 5 policy areas, the importance and performance were found to be 'above average', and it was confirmed that 'Keep up the Good Work' level. This is thought to have had a positive effect on raising the policy awareness of experts in mental health related institutions as the government's support for agro-healing and R & D increased according to the enactment of the act. Therefore, the results of this study provided basic information on the development and revitalization of agro-healing service quality for mental health care.
