The main function of surge counter is knowing the times of surge flowed in, which is installed under surge arrester. Two methods are presented in this paper to get the electric power for mechanical movement and detect the surge with surge counter. One is using ZnO varistor resister and the other is using the current transformer.

The wavelet transform has an advantage over the Fourier transform for representing in homogeneous functions that have discontinuities, sharp peaks, ike images. This paper proposes a noise variance estimation method by utilizing the wavelet transform.

This paper deals with the comparison of parameter estimation methods in a 3-parameter Kappa distribution which is sometimes used in flood frequency analysis. The method of moment estimation(MME), L-moment estimation(L-ME), and maximum likelihood estimation(MLE) are applied to estimate three parameters. The performance of these methods are compared by Monte-carlo simulations. Especially for computing MME and L-ME, ike dimensional nonlinear equations are simplied to one dimensional equation which is calculated by the Newton-Raphson iteration under constraint. Based on the criterion of the mean squared error, the L-ME is recommended to use for small sample size $(n\leq100)$ while MLE is good for large sample size.

본 논문에서는 우리가 개발한 IPsec 시스템의 효율성을 위해 인터넷 키 교환 서버를 중심으로 모듈간 연동 구조와 이에 따른 수행 절차를 다룬다. 개발한 IPsec 시스템은 IP기반 단대단 보안을 위해 IPsec 엔진을 중심으로 키 관리, SADB, SPDB 모듈이 통합된 구조로 되어 있다. 따라서 각 모듈간의 효율적인 연동구조는 시스템의 전체 효율에 매우 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다. 특히, 우리의 IPsec 시스템에서 IPsec 엔진은 커널과의 통합방식으로 구현되었기 때문에 SPDB와 SADB의 구현 위치에 따른 조회의 효율성을 위해 여러 고려 사항들이 필요하다. 우리는 이러한 문제를 풀기 위해 IKE 서버에 의해 생성된 SPI를 사용한다 최종적으로 우리는 SPDB 엔트리와 SADB 엔트리 조회의 최적화 방법에 기인한 모듈간 연동구조를 제안한다.

To improve the blood compatibility of chitosan membranes, 2-(methacryloyloxy)-ethyl-2-(trimethylammonium)ethyl phosphate(MTP), which is a methacrylate with phospholipid polar groups, was grafted on the surface of chitosan membranes and the biocompatibility of MTP-grafted chitosan membranes was investigated. The permeation coefficient gradually decreased with increasing in molecular weights of biocomponents below 10$^{4}$, and drastically decreased above 10$^{4}$. This result corresponds with the permeability of solutes in case of hemodialysis membranes. The MTP-grafted chitosan membranes displayed less blood cell adhesion than the chitosan membranes. This may due to the formation of biomembrane4ike surface by adsorption and arrangement of phospholipid molecules from serum onto the MTP copolymer surface.

Repeated administration of addictive drugs causes cellular and molecular changes believed to be the mechanism of pro-addictive behaviors. Neuroadaptations also take place with repeated administration of amphetamine, methylphenidate and atomoxetine, drugs for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), and it is speculated that these changes may serve as markers to demonstrate the dependence liability of these therapies. In this review, we enumerate the neuroadaptive changes in molecules associated with neuronal signaling and plasticity, as well as neuronal morphology wrought by repeated administration of ADHD medications. We provide the current perspective on the dependence liability of these therapies, and also suggest of some factors that need to be considered in future investigations, so that what is drawn from animal studies would be better consolidated with those known clinically.

1. 혈압 및 맥박 실험 Acetylcholine과 상엽 수층분획을 단독으로 정맥에 투여한 경우 각각에서 농도 의존적으로 일시적인 혈압 강하 효과가 나타났고 빈맥 현상이 관찰되었다. Nitric Oxide 합성효소 억제제인 N$^{G}$ -Nitro-L-Arginine Methyl Ester(10 mg/kg I. v)를 전처리한 경우 위 두 약물에 의한 혈압강하효과는 공히 증가되어졌다. 또한 두 약물에 의한 혈압강하 효과는 Atropine Sulfate(1 mg/kg i.v) 전처리로 완전히 차단되었다. Cholinesterase 억제제인 Physostigmine (0.05 mg/kg i.v) 전처리는 상엽의 혈압강하 효과에 아무런 영향을 나타내지 못하였다. 2. 장관 실험 Acetylcholine과 상엽 수층분획을 organ bath에 첨가한 경우 각각에서 농도 의존적으로 장관 수축력을 증가시켰다. 혈압반응에서와 같이 장관실험에서도 두 약물에 의한 장관 수축력의 증가는 Atropine Sulfate(1$\times$$10^{-5}$ M)의 존재하에서는 완전히 차단되어졌다. 이상의 결과로부터 상엽 수층분획은 Acetylcholine과 유사한 작용을 지닌 물질을 함유하는 것으로 사료된다.

16 chicken isolates and four clinical isolates of VanB-vanA incongruent vancomycinresistant Enterococcus faecium strains without vanS were isolated in 1999. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis revealed only a peripheral relationship between the chicken isolates and clinical isolates, but suggested clonal spread in the chicken isolates.

We made a human-sensitive motion interpretation to the interactive emotional robot, "Rai" of which the mechanism design was carried out and completed. Kinematic system of this emotional robot mainly consists of a body and a head. The body contains the total control units , the communicat ion modules and also two wheels and motors for main driving which make kinds of motions 1 ike the inverted pendulum. This robot system is designed under the concept on the human-friendly mot ion and react ion wi th humans around living room and office environments. Therefore, various scenarios are constructed in order to enable the emotional expressions at those places. Especially, we interpreted technically-possible motions while accommodating to the scenarios constructed. And we performed some experiments to make sere of the possibility of the motion interpretation.

The purpose of this study is to design the digital surge counter for lightning arresters. The used detecting method for surges is using the signal of both ends of ZnO varistor. The electronic detecting parts of the digital counter are arranged in outside of main processer for protecting it from noise. The detecting parts change detected signals into small signals. The countermeasures for noises are (1) Shielding (2) Reinforcement of power circuits (3) Cables & Circ1e core (4) Watch-doc & control of input signals.
