This paper is concerned with the development of a nonparametric procedure for the statistical inference about the nonlinear regression parameters. A confidence region and a hypothesis testing procedure based on a class of signed linear rank statistics are proposed and the asymptotic distributions of the test statistic both under the null hypothesis and under a sequence of local alternatives are investigated. Some desirable asymptotic properties including the asymptotic relative efficiency are discussed for various score functions.

다수의 지수분포에 있어서 최우수 처리를 판별하는 방법을 가설검정의 형식으로 연구하였다. 최우수 처리의 판별을 위해 적절한 가설을 설정하고, 주어진 유의수준을 만족시키는 우도비 검정 방법을 유도하였으며, 관심영역에서의 최소 검정력을 계산함으로써 실제 표본 설계가 가능하도록 하였다.

A computing method of fractional Bayes factor (FBF) for a point null hypothesis is explained. We propose alternative form of FBF that is the product of density ratio and a quantity using the generalized Savage-Dickey density ratio method. When it is difficult to compute the alternative form of FBF analytically, each term of the proposed form can be estimated by MCMC method. Finally, two examples are given.

The Bayes factor provides a possible hierarchical Bayesian approach for studying the change point problems. A hypothesis for testing change versus no change is considered using predictive distributions. When the underlying distribution is in one-parameter exponential family with conjugate priors, Bayes factors are investigated to the hypothesis above. Finally one example is provided .

We develop the testing procedures about the homogeneity of the shape parameters of several inverse Gaussian distributions in our paper. We propose default Bayesian testing procedures for the shape parameters under the reference priors. The Bayes factor based on the proper priors gives the successful results for Bayesian hypothesis testing. For the case of the lack of information, the noninformative priors such as Jereys' prior or the reference prior can be used. Jereys' prior or the reference prior involves the undefined constants in the computation of the Bayes factors. Therefore under the reference priors, we develop the Bayesian testing procedures with the intrinsic Bayes factors and the fractional Bayes factor. Simulation study for the performance of the developed testing procedures is given, and an example for illustration is given.

The study aims to analyze the factors that shape patient loyalty, namely, by involving the service quality factor (SERVQUAL), hospital image, patient value, and patient satisfaction in private hospitals. This study was conducted in Makassar City, Indonesia, with a sample of 296 eligible samples from private hospitals. The sample criteria were patients with outpatient and hospitalization status. Then, this study developed 23 hypotheses to test the statistical relationship between direct, intervening and multiple-effect models. Problem-solving and research focus are carried out using a quantitative method approach with a PLS-SEM-based testing tool. The bootstrapping method is being used with the constant bootstrapping step to demonstrate the results of hypothesis testing; we find that the overall hypothesis has a positive and significant effect. The combination of testing models involving several variables shows that a patient's loyalty can be formed if a patient's satisfaction has been realized. Satisfaction can be realized if the value-customer has been felt by the patients. Therefore, the hospital image must be directly proportional to service quality. Service quality is the essence of service that directly affects customers; service quality is also the reason that shapes consumer perceptions in increasing rationalization and solid customer (patient's) decision-making.

EVMS(Earned Value Management System)는 건설프로젝트의 선진관리기법으로서 최근 국내건설공사의 공공부분 공사에 도입되어 제도화되었으며, 정부발주뿐만 아니라 민간발주 건설프로젝트에서도 EVMS를 관리기법의 도구로 활용하기 위하여 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 선진관리기법인 EVMS를 도입하기 이전에 EVMS의 여러 업무들이 국내건설사업 환경에 대한 적합성에 대하여 검정할 필요성이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 EVMS에서 프로젝트 예측단계로서 최종예상공사비(Estimate At Completion)를 정확하게 평가하고 실질적인 비용을 측정하는데 유용하게 사용하기 위하여 최종예상공사비 평가방법을 제안하고 그 방법들에 대하여 통계적 방법인 가설검정(Hypothesis testing)을 이용하여 타당성을 검증하고자 한다.

Based on moments inequalities new testing procedures are derived for testing exponentiality against new renewal better than used (NRBU) and renewal new better than used (RNBU). These classes play an important role in formulating repair or replacement policies. The asymptotic Pitman efficiency of (NRBU) and (RNBU) testes are studied. Selected critical values are tabulated for sample sizes n=5(1) 50. The power estimates for some commonly used life distributions in reliability are also calculated. Some set of real data is used as an example to elucidate the use of the proposed test statistic for practical reliability analysis. The problem in case of right-censored data is also handled.

Background: This study was to suggest the process of making strategy for effective intervention and evaluation on functional problems of the frozen shoulder patient applied International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health (ICF) Tools. Methods: The patient was 48years old woman with right shoulder adhesive capsulitis and calcific tendinitis. In first phase, therapists could list the information relating to functional problems used by the ICF Core set and then could confirm the interaction among the problems using the ICF assessment sheet. In second phase, therapist is needed to make the hypothesis and hypothesis testing and then set a primary functional goals and therapeutic goals in detail after prioritizing the problems to be managed based on the problem list. Lastly, after setting the confirmed problems as the purpose of intervention through the hypothesis testing, therapist could do some intervention after making a plan to solve these problems. Results: This report illustrates how to apply the process based on ICF concept into physical therapy practice. The decided hypothesis and goal that are to solve the problems the client faced were remarkably meaningful. Conclusions: Clinical decision making for the most effective intervention requires that therapists use the clinical reasoning process based on ICF concept.
