  • There are fruitful results on degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations recently following the idea of $Kru{\check{z}}kov^{\prime}s$ doubling variables device. This paper is devoted to the well-posedness of nonhomogeneous boundary problem for degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations with spatially dependent second order operator, which has not caused much attention. The novelty is that we use the boundary flux triple instead of boundary layer to treat this problem.

  • In this paper, the numerical analysis of beam rest ing on hyperbolic Winkler elastic foundation by differential transformation is performed. Accordig to the change of parameter of hyperbolic Winkler elastic foundation, beam deformation is computed when the boundary conditions are clamped-clamped, pined-pined and clamped-free.

  • In [6], we introduce a hyperbolic homeomorphism on a compact metrizable space and show that a hyperbolic homeomorphism is topologically stable. The purpose of this paper is to study a necessary and sufficient condition for a homeomorphism to be hyperbolic. We get the following theorem.

  • In the previous paper [6], the author constructed hyperbolic hypersurfaces of degree $2^{n}$ in the n-dimensional complex projective space for every $n\;\geq\;3$. The purpose of this paper is to give some improvement of this result and to show some general methods of constructions of hyperbolic hypersurfaces of higher degree, which enable us to construct hyperbolic hypersurfaces of degree d in the n-dimensional complex projective space for every $d\;\geq\;2\;{\times}\;6^{n}$.

  • We deal with the classification problem of real hypersurfaces in a complex hyperbolic space. In order to classify real hypersurfaces in a complex hyperbolic space we characterize a real hypersurface M in $H_n(\mathbb{C})$ whose structure vector field is not principal. We also construct extrinsically homogeneous real hypersurfaces with four distinct curvatures and their structure vector fields are not principal.

  • This paper proposes design of new linear bipolar OTAs composed of an hyperbolic function circuit and a triple-tail cell. Two types of the OTAs are presented; one employs a hyperbolic sine circuit and the other contains a hyperbolic cosine circuit. The linear input voltage ranges of the proposed OTAs are wider than that of the conventional triple-tail cell, though the power dissipation is smaller. The results of SPICE simulation show that satisfactory characteristics are obtained.
