본 연구는 미국의 공공도서관 과제지원서비스가 지역사회 청소년을 지원하는 도서관 프로그램으로서 갖는 의의를 고찰하고, 공공도서관 과제지원서비스의 운영 현황과 특성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 문헌조사를 통해 미국 공공도서관 과제지원서비스의 사례와 동향을 살펴보고, 과제지원서비스를 제공하는 공공도서관을 대상으로 이메일 설문조사를 실시하여 과제지원서비스의 운영 현황 및 전반적인 특성을 조사 분석하였다. 본 조사에 참여한 도서관을 대상으로 이용자, 장서, 공간, 홍보 및 인적 자원의 측면에서 과제지원서비스의 현황과 특성을 분석하였다. 공공도서관 과제지원서비스의 운영 현황 및 특성에 대한 분석 결과는 과제지원센터의 계획 및 도입에 있어 서비스 방향 도출을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다.

This paper deals with the individual homework creating and management system. The proposed system can be applied to various types of homeworks such as problem solving, experiment and watching some video material related to lecture. Every authorized student can connect the web server in which the proposed system is implemented and download his assignment which is different from other student's. Also we provide real application examples to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system regarding 3 types of assignments and expect to help the students to do self-regulated study and improve their professional capability.

세계는 점점 다양화되어 가고 있으며, 우리나라도 결혼 이민자와 외국인 노동력의 증가로 외국인 100만 시대의 다문화사회로 진입하였다. 그러나 이들의 한국생활 적응은 매우 어려워 보이며, 공공도서관에서는 이들에게 다문화서비스를 제공하여 한국생활 적응에 도움을 줄 필요가 있다. 홈페이지를 이용한 서비스 제공은 도서관을 방문하지 않고도 시공을 초월하여 이용자가 필요한 자료를 이용할 수 있는 장점을 활용하여 세계적인 다문화 국가인 호주, 캐나다, 미국과 일본의 공공도서관 홈페이지에서는 어떠한 다문화 서비스를 하고 있는지 살펴보고 이를 공공도서관선언에서 제언하는 도서관의 네 가지 핵심 서비스인 정보, 문해, 교육, 문화의 영역으로 유형을 분류하였다. 국내 공공도서관 홈페이지에서는 아직 제공하지 못하고 있는 통번역 서비스나 숙제도우미, 어린이문해 프로그램은 앞으로 시도해야 할 과제로 보이며 독립된 다문화사이트 운영, 지역대표도서관과 지방공공도서관의 업무 분담, 정부나 기관, 사회단체와의 긴밀한 협조는 다문화도서관서비스를 더욱 풍부하게 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the life scale of the middle aged homemakers. The life scale are composed of spouse relation 8 items, child education relation 7 items, home economy relation 4 items, homework relation 3 items, selfish health relation 6 items, parent relation 3 items, and interest and social activity relation 4 items. The reliability coefficient of the development scale was Cronbach'α =.83 and the correlations of each demesne was high. For the better future life in this study, the middle aged homemakers are needed the improvement of conjugal relations, the child education, the health, the interest, and the enlargement of social relations. This life scale can help to evaluate their middle age, and to the planning of energetic healthful future, and useful to understanding characteristic and the developmental task of middle aged homemakers.

In this paper, we discuss how to assess students' understanding of concepts during class, after class and in regular exams in the mathematics classes using the handheld graphing technology. We show some methods of assessment that are compatible with the class using the handheld graphing technology. These methods are adjustable to students' learning during class, homework after class or in regular exams. As a feedback of these methods we give students additional opportunity to understand concepts by giving additional concept provoking problems or giving additional help if necessary.

본 논문에서 우리는 단일보드 컴퓨터인 라즈베리 파이3 기반의 오픈 플랫폼 로봇 Q.bo one을 이용하여 맞벌이 가정의 아이들의 생활 습관과 영어회화 교육을 케어해줄 로봇을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 첫 번째 생활습관 형성 기능은 성장기 아이들에게 가장 중요한 생활습관인 손씻기, 규칙적인 식사, 양치질, 숙제, 규칙적인 수면 총 5가지를 선정하여 부모가 부재중일 때에도 로봇으로 부모 목소리를 출력함으로서 아이에게 생활습관이 자리 잡을 수 있도록 도와준다. 알림을 듣고 실행에 옮긴 아이의 모습을 촬영하여 부모가 확인하고 피드백을 할 수 있게 한다. 두 번째 기초회화 교육 기능은 구글의 DialogFlow를 사용하여 로봇과 아이가 간단한 영어 회화를 통해 영어를 자연스럽게 익힐 수 있도록 도와준다. 이 두 가지 기능의 로봇을 통해 맞벌이 가정의 아이들이 부모님이 집에 계시지 않을 때에도 부모님의 목소리를 출력하는 알림으로 안정감을 느끼게 한다. 동시에 기본적인 생활 습관을 들이고, 로봇과의 기초 영어회화를 하며 일찍이 영어에 흥미를 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이 목적이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate diversity in the situations of multicultural families regarding the education of their children and to suggest rational ways of educating children in multicultural families. The participants in this study were 16 mothers from multicultural families typically characterized by an international marriage in which a Korean male had married a non-Korean female. The data were collected using intensive interviews over a course of three months and were analyzed by grounded theory. The results of this study showed that the participants had difficulty in adapting to the styles of educating children in Korean families and that they could not help their children do homework by themselves due to the limited personal relationships, the shortage of information about educating children, and an lack of organized education programs on Korean culture and history. Thus, they solved these problems by depending on different extracurricular activities and thus incurred a financial burden to support these activities. This led to excessive amounts of time and energy to earn the money to support the activities, which gave them few opportunities to acquire information on educating children by, for example, meeting with others. This explained their dependency on different extracurricular activities so as to solve the problem of their educating children. In an effort to seek ways to break this vicious circle, this study emphasized that policies related to educating children in multicultural families should focus on helping multicultural families strengthen their abilities to educate their children fundamentally.

본 연구에서는 학생들의 과학적 흥미와 호기심을 유발하기 위해 영산강 유역에서 발굴된 구석기시대 유물 유적을 활용하여 지구과학 학습 자료를 개발하였다. 구석기 유물 유적을 활용한 학습 자료는 예비 활동 자료, 박물관에서의 활동 자료, 유적지 답사를 위한 활동 자료, 구석기 유물을 제작하는 활동 자료로 구성되었다. 개발된 학습 자료에 대해 과학교사와 학생의 반응을 살펴보았다. 설문에 응답한 과학 교사들 10명 중 6명은 유물 유적을 활용한 교수 학습 자료가 탐구력 향상에 효과가 있을 것으로 예상하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 학습 자료는 대부분의 교사들이 정규 수업이 아닌 동아리 활동, 현장학습, 과제부여 등에 적용하는 것이 타당하다고 반응하였다. 구석기 유물 유적을 활용한 학습자료를 적용하는 과정에서, 학생들의 질문 방향이 다양해졌으며 질문하는 횟수도 증가하였다. 유물 유적을 활용한 학습자료는 학생들이 광물과 암석의 성질을 이해하는데 도움이 되었다. 본 학습 자료는 교사들의 학습 주제 선택의 폭을 넓혀줄 것이라 기대된다.

본 논문에서는 대학생 대상의 ROBOTC 기반 레고 마인드스톰 NXT 로봇을 이용한 교육과정 개발 내용을 보이고, 이 과정에 대한 교육효과를 분석하였다. 교육과정은 로봇의 기본 이해와 실습, 응용로봇 실습, 창의로봇 설계 및 구현으로 구성하였다. 2009년부터 3년간 교육을 진행하는 동안, 6개 분반 총 94명의 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 교육효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 레고 마인드스톰 NXT 로봇을 이용한 교육과정이 학습동기와 학습의욕을 불러 일으켰고, 학생들의 교과목 교육목표 및 학습성과 달성도가 우수하였음을 보인다. 또한 학생들의 수업 및 과제물 수행에 대한 참여도가 매우 높았으며, 문제해결능력과 창의력 향상에 도움을 주었고, 조별 프로젝트 수행으로 협동심도 향상되었다. 마지막으로 ROBOTC기반 프로그래밍에 의한 로봇 제어 실습으로 C언어 프로그래밍 능력 향상에도 도움을 준 것으로 나타났다.

국내외 연구결과들에 의하면 좋은 수업의 공통적 특징 중의 하나는 다양한 수업방법이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 수업방법을 도입하여 '비즈니스 전공영어' 수업을 좋은 수업으로 만들기 위해 교수설명, 그룹활동 및 발표, 단어퀴즈, reading comprehension, 숙제 및 시험에 대한 피드백이 수업활동으로 활용되었다. 2015년과 2016년에 '비즈니스 전공영어' 수업을 수강한 3학년 39명 학생들을 대상으로 수업활동에 대한 학생들의 인식에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사를 분석한 결과 다음 사실들을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 학생들이 가장 선호하는 수업활동은 교수설명이었다. 둘째, 텍스트 내용 이해와 영어구문 이해에 가장 도움이 된다고 학생들이 인식하는 수업활동은 교수설명이었다. 셋째, 그룹 활동 및 발표에 대한 선호도는 높지 않았으며, 텍스트 내용 이해와 영어구문 이해에 가장 도움이 안 되는 수업활동으로 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 설문조사 결과는 영어문장 구조의 정확한 파악에 미숙한 조사대상자 학생들은 텍스트 내용의 확실한 이해를 위해 영어문장 구조에 대한 교수의 명확한 설명을 필요로 한다는 것을 보여 준다. 즉 영어수업의 경우 학생들이 선호하며 도움이 많이 된다고 인식하는 수업활동은 교과목의 특성과 학생들의 영어능숙도와 관련이 있다는 것을 시사해 주었다.
