  • The large planar failure has occurred in a rock cut slope of highway construction site in Boeun. This area is considered as unstable since the discontinuities whose orientations are similar to the orientation of the failure plane, are observed in many areas. Therefore, several analysis techniques such as SMR, stereographic analysis, limit equilibrium, numerical analysis, which are commonly used in rock slope stability analysis, are adopted in this area. In order to analyze the stress redistribution and nonlinear displacement caused by cut, which are not obtained in limit equilibrium method, the UDEC and shear strength reduction technique were used in this study Then the factors of safety evaluated by shear strength reduction technique and limit equilibrium were compared. In addition, the factor of safety under fully saturated slope condition was calculated and subsequently, the effect of the reinforcement was evaluated.

  • With the limited amount of budget and time, it is required to determine the priority of investment when there are a large number of hazardous slopes. In this paper, the Rock Slope Risk Rating System is developed based on the combination of the hazard of failure and the damage potential. By applying the proposed rating system to 253 rock slopes in Korean National Highway, it was possible to determine the priority of investment on road cut slopes.

개착식 터널에서 파형강판 라이닝의 동적 거동 특성 (The Seismic Behavior of Corrugated Steel Plate Lining in Cut-and-Cover Tunnel)

  • Most tunnel lining material which has been used in the domestic is a concrete. But many problems as the construction period, the cost, and the crack occurrence for the design, construction, and management were happened in the concrete lining. For this reason, many research institutes like the Korea Highway Corporation recognize the necessity of an alternate material development and grow on the interest for that. So in this study, the seismic behaviour characteristics for the application of the Corrugated Steel Plate Lining in cut-and-cover tunnel are evaluated as several conditions for the backfill height, the cutting slope, and the relative density of backfill soil are changed. The compressive stress which is calculated in the Corrugated Steel Plate Lining by the seismic load is decreased as the backfill height increases and the cut slope grows gentle. Also, the moment shows the tendency of decrease according to the increase of the backfill height. But in the case of the relative density of the backfill soil is small, the moment increases according to the increase of the backfill height and affects the dynamic behaviour characteristic. So it is considered that the relative density of the backfill soil is also the important point. As the result in analyzing the seismic response characteristics of the reinforcement spacing of the Corrugated Steel Plate, the variation in the compressive force is hardly happened, but the moment and the shear force increase on the reinforcement spacing being narrow.

  • 절토사면은 토층, 풍화토, 풍화암, 연암, 경암 등의 풍화도가 다른 물질로 구성되어 있어 지반구성물질에 대한 공학적인 판단이 쉽지 않으며, 시공 중 또는 시공 후에 사면의 안정성 문제가 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 사면의 안정성 문제는 과거 30여년 동안 고속도로의 많은 절토사면에서 경험되어 왔으며 현재에도 계속적으로 사면붕괴 및 복구를 경험하고 있으나 체계적인 관리 및 조사가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 수집된 자료의 효율적인 자료분석을 통하여 절토사면을 체계적으로 관리하고자 하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 데이터베이스 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 이 관리프로그램을 활용한다면 국내에 분포하는 암반의 내적 요인들에 대한 지질 공학적인 특성을 파악할 수 있고 지역에 따라 분포하는 암석종류, 지질시대 및 지질구조에 따라 붕괴유형 및 발생빈도 등을 분석함으로써 도로 및 주택단지의 개설시 예비적인 사면안정문제를 예견할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate a landslide using the SLOPILE program from the slope reinforced by slope stability systems such as soil nailing and pile. To do this, cutting slope located at Donghae-Highway in Kwangwon-Do was considered. The behavior of slope was monitored for a long term by using instrumentation according to the reinforcement stages. The sequence of reinforcement stages was followed as pile installation, boring, soil nailing installation, anchoring and embankment. The result from this case study shows that the safety factor of slope depends on the reinforcement stage more or less.

  • 한국건설기술연구원은 전국 국도변 절토사면에 대한 현황조사를 수행 중에 있다. 현황조사는 절토사면 정밀 안전진단과는 달리, 현장에서 기본적인 육안 조사를 통해 얻을 수 있는 여러가지 절토사면 특성에 대한 조사로 절토사면 유지관리의 가장 기본이 되는 자료들이다. 현황조사 내용은 크게 조사 대상 절토사면의 일반현황, 절토사면 특성, 조사자 소견으로 구분된다. 조사된 자료는 전국에 분포하고 있는 위험절토사면을 파악하고, 정밀 안전진단의 조사순위를 결정하는데 가장 기초적인 자료로 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 2006년 충청도 일대에서 수집된 국도변 절토사면 현황조사 자료를 바탕으로 충청도 관내 위험절토사면 분포도를 작성하고 실제 붕괴절토사면 발생 위치와 비교하여 효율성을 검증하고 활용성 여부에 대해서도 논의해 보고자 한다.

음식쓰레기를 활용한 비탈면 녹화기술의 식생기반재 배합비율에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mixing Ratio of Food Waste on Slope Re-vegetation Base Materials)

  • This study introduced food waste into re-vegetation base materials for surface loss recovery of carry-away highway cut slope. The object of this study is to derive the mixing ratio of food waste by conducting a test installation, monitoring, analysis and evaluation for recovery of carry-away highway cut slope. The following items were investigated and analyzed each experimental zone to draw mixing ratio of re-vegetation base materials and food waste : the physical and chemical properties of the vegetation base materials, soil-hardness, soil-humidity, left out and the collapsed point, established number of trees, species richness of grass species and tree species, coverage, pest status, and invasion of disturbance species. The re-vegetation method was evaluated by each experiment zone which has different mixing ratio. As a result, experiment zone A was rated 45 points out of 60 rating points as the best re-vegetation method. However, this study result has been derived from one construction and short-term monitoring. In order to derive the suitable and dependable mixing ratio, conducting an objective re-vegetation method evaluation and long-term experiment and monitoring is required.

  • This study introduced wood waste into revegetation base materials for recovery of highway cut slope. The object of this study is to derive the mixing ratio of wood waste, kaoline and silica by conducting a test installation, monitoring, analysis and evaluation. The following items were investigated and analyzed each experimental zone to deduce the mixing ratio of wood waste, kaoline and silica on slope revegetation base materials: the physical and chemical properties of the vegetation base materials, soil-hardness, soil-humidity, collapse and eroded spots, established number of trees, existing species of grass and tree species, vegetation coverage ratio, pest status, and invasion of disturbance species. The revegetation method was evaluated in each experiment zone which had different mixing ratios. As a result, experiment zone C scored 47 points out of 60 as the best revegetation method. However, this result has been derived from just one construction and short-term monitoring. In order to derive the suitable and dependable mixing ratio, conducting an objective revegetation method evaluation and long-term experimenting and monitoring is required.

In addition, through using that conditions, CHBDC(2000, Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code) is evaluated if it could be applied to the design by comparing with the numerical analysis results. As the behaviour characteristics of the Corrugated Steel Plate Lining by CHBDC and the static numerical analysis are analyzed, both the methods show the same linear increases of the compressive stress according to the increase of the backfill height. The CHBDC of the dead load condition has very similar tendency by comparing with the result of the static numerical analysis.

연약층이 협재된 절개면의 안정성 해석 및 대책 (Slope Stability Analysis and Suggestion of Stabilization Methods on Failed Cut-Slopes Interbedded with Weakness Layer)

  • 본 연구는 국도 건설을 위한 절개면 공사중 붕괴된 사면의 붕괴 원인을 분석하고 안정성 해석을 실시한 후 적절한 대책안을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 붕괴 절개면은 매산-가곡간의 국도 도로공사 구간의 일부로서 풍화암과 연암으로 구성되어 있으며 국내 시방서에 따라 시공이 완료된 상태에서 붕괴가 발생하였다. 풍화암과 연암의 지반상태에서 1:1.5의 경사를 가지는 절개면의 붕괴는 국내에서 흔히 발생하는 사례는 아니다. 본 연구에서는 절개면의 붕괴 원인을 분석하기 위하여 현장조사, 시추조사, 계측, 사면안정해석 등을 수행하였으며 이들 자료를 이용하여 조사대상 절개면의 장기적인 안정성 확보를 위한 대책 방안을 제안하였다. 또한, 사면내에 연약층 등이 협재 되어 있고 습곡이나 단층 등이 발달되어 있는 경우에는 불연속면의 방향이 절취면의 방향과 $^30{\circ}$이상 사교하고 있더라도 사면 붕괴가 발생할 가능성이 있으므로 절개면의 설계에는 이들 지질구조에 대한 고려가 반드시 포함되어야 한다.
