경기지역 여대생이 지각한 유방 자가검진의 지식, 자기효능감 및 이행 간의 관계 (Knowledge, Self-Efficacy and Compliance on Breast Self Examination among Female College Students in Gyeonggi Province)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to identify the relationship among knowledge, self-efficacy and compliance behavior on breast self examination(BSE) of female college students'. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted with a convenient sample of 499 female college student. Surveyed data collected from May to August 2008 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean score of knowledge and self-efficacy concerning BSE was low, and compliance was high. The levels of knowledge, self-efficacy and compliance were differed significantly by experience of thinking about breast cancer, perceived susceptibility of breast cancer, experience of meeting with breast cancer patient, and educational experience of BSE. Significant correlations were found between knowledge and compliance, knowledge and compliance, knowledge and self-efficacy. Knowledge and self-efficacy were a powerful predictor of compliance. Conclusion: Focus on perceived knowledge, self-efficacy about breast self examination(BSE) of female college students may be beneficial to improve compliance, and should be reflected in the development of effective BSE education program.

중년여성의 통합적 건강증진 프로그램 적용의 효과 (The Effect of an Integrated Health-Promotion Program in Middle-Aged Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the effect of an integrated health promotion program in middle-aged women. Method: The research design was a quasi experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected from July 1st to August 31st, 2003. One group consisted of 30 subjects. The instruments used for the study were the Self Efficacy Scale and the Health Promotion Behavior Scale developed by Park(1995), Subjective health status developed Speake(1989) and menopause-related symptoms developed by Park(1995). The data was analyzed using the SPSS WIN 10.0 program. In order to compare the effects of the pre-post synthesized health promotion program, the ed t-test was employed. Result: There was not a significant increase in subjective health status after the integrated health promotion program, nor was there a significant decrease in menopause-related symptoms after the synthesized health promotion program. There was a significant increase in self efficacy after the integrated health promotion program(p=.029), and there was also a significant increase in health promotion behavior after the integrated health promotion program(p=.006). Conclusions: Through an 8 week education program for health promotion, self efficacy and health promotion behavior were effectively changed in middle-aged women.

중년후기 여성의 건강한 노후준비 건강증진 프로그램 효과 (Effects of a Health Promotion Program on Healthy Aging Preparation for Late Middle Aged Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of health promotion program on healthy aging preparation for late middle aged women. Methods: The research design was a non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental study. Participants were recruited from K and Y cities in Gyeong-nam Province from October, 2013 to January, 2014. They were 26 for the experimental group and 31 for the control group. The experimental group participated in a health promotion program for healthy aging preparation. The program consisted of education, exercise, and small group discussion over 8 weeks. Data were analyzed by Chi-square, t-test and ANCOVA, using the PASW 18.0 program. Results: There were significant improvements in aging anxiety and general self-efficacy, health promoting behaviors in the experimental group compared to those of the control group. However, there was no significant differences in attitude toward older adults between the two groups. Conclusion: The health promotion program on healthy aging preparation for late middle aged women was found to be effective in enhancing aging anxiety and self-efficacy, and health promoting behavior. Thus, the developed program is recommended for use in clinical practice as an effective nursing intervention for late middle aged women in order to keep up with their health in later life.

중국인 유학생의 흡연경험에 따른 구강건강관련 자기효능감과 삶의 질의 융합적 관계 (The Relationship between Oral Health-Related Self-Efficacy and Quality of Life According to Smoking Experience of Chinese Students in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 국내거주 중국인 유학생의 흡연경험 유무에 따른 구강건강관련 자기효능감과 삶의 질의 관계를 파악하고자 부산시내에 위치한 지역대학 내 중국 유학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 통해 분석한 결과 흡연 비경험자가 흡연 경험자보다 칫솔질과 구강건강관리 관련 자기효능감, 구강건강관련 삶의 질의 점수가 각각 높게 나타나 유의한 결과가 나타났다. 칫솔질 자기효능감은 구강건강관리 관련 자기효능감과 정적 상관을 가지고 있었고, 구강건강관리 관련 자기효능감은 구강건강 삶의 질과 정적 상관을 가지고 있어 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 따라서 흡연경험의 유무는 외국인 유학생의 구강건강증진 및 삶의 질 향상과 관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 건강한 유학생활을 위해 구강건강증진 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 전달하여 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

치위생과 학생과 비보건계열 학생의 구강건강증진행위 영향요인 분석 (A Study on Factors Affecting the Oral Health Promotion Behavior of Dental Hygiene and Non-Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생과 비보건계열 학생들을 대상으로 인지-지각요인과 구강건강증진행위를 파악하고, 구강건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 광주광역시에 위치한 G 대학의 3년제 치위생과와 2년제 비보건계열의 학생들에게 설문지를 배부 조사하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 구강건강에 대한 인지-지각요인에서 자기 효능감, 구강건강통제위, 구강건강행위 혜택 인지정도는 치위생과 학생이 비보건계열 학생보다 더 높게 나타났으며, 구강건강행위 장애 인지정도는 비보건계열 학생이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 2. 구강건강증진행위의 실천 정도는 치위생과 학생에서 더 높게 나타났으며, 두 군 모두에서 높은 실천 정도를 보이는 항목은 음주와 흡연 절제이며 낮은 실천도를 보이는 항목은 치위생과 학생은 불소 함유 양치 용액 사용, 비보건계열 학생은 치실 사용으로 나타났다. 3. 구강건강증진행위와 관련된 변수 간의 상관관계에서 자기 효능감과 구강건강통제위는 구강건강증진행위와 유의한 상관관계를 나타내 이 두 변수가 높아질수록 구강건강증진행위와 각 세부항목인 요인 1, 요인 2, 요인 3의 실천 정도는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 구강건강증진행위와 각 세부항목에 영향력이 있는 변수를 살펴본 결과, 요인 1, 요인 3, 전체 구강건강증진행위에 가장 영향력이 있는 변수는 자기 효능감이었으며, 요인 2는 구강건강통제위가 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 살펴볼 때, 구강건강증진행위에 가장 영향을 미치는 변수는 인지-지각요인 중 자기 효능감으로 나타났으므로 구강건강증진 프로그램 개발시 자기 효능감을 높여주는 방안을 모색하여야 하며, 구강건강증진행위별로 자기 효능감을 고취시킬 수 있는 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

성인의 주관적 구강 건강 상태와 건강 실천행위가 구강 건강 관련 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Subjective Oral Health Status and Health Practice Behavior on Oral Health-Related Self-Efficacy in Adults)

  • 본 연구는 성인의 주관적 구강 건강상태와 건강 실천행위가 구강 건강 관련 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 부산광역시에 거주하는 성인을 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행한 후, SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 주관적 구강 건강 상태가 좋을수록 칫솔질 관련 자기효능감(p<.001)과 구강 건강관리 자기효능감(p<.01)이 유의하게 높게 나타났고, 건강 실천 행위를 이행할수록 칫솔질 관련 자기효능감(p<.001)과 구강 건강관리 자기효능감(p<.001)이 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 주관적 구강 건강상태가 좋을수록 구강 건강 관련 자기효능감에 긍정적 영향을 미치며(p<.001), 운동, 건강 책임이행, 흡연 순으로 건강 실천 행위를 이행할수록 구강 건강 관련 자기효능감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 따라서 전신건강과 구강건강의 상호 융합적 계속 구강 보건 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료로 활용되어 성인의 포괄적 건강 및 구강건강 증진에 기여하고자한다.

일개 특성화 학교 북한이탈 청소년의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing Factors on the Health Promotion Behaviors of North Korean Refugee Adolescent in a Specialization School)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to find out health behaviors and health promotion behaviors and their influencing factors among North Korean refugee adolescents. Methods: All the 139 students registered in a specialization school which provided regular school curriculum for the North Korean refugee adolescents participated in the survey. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Current smoking, alcohol drinking and experience of depression in North Korean refugee adolescents were more prevalent than those of South Korean adolescents. Self-esteem, self-efficacy and social support were identified as factors affecting health promotion behavior. Conclusions: Health promotion program is needed to reduce the North Korean refugee adolescents' depression and to stop smoking and drinking. In the process of creating these programs, of creating program, we should consider self-esteem, self-efficacy and social support in the educational method to make these programs be effective.

방문간호사의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 - 서울시 방문건강관리사업을 중심으로 - (Factors influencing Health Promoting Behaviors of Visiting Nurses in Seoul)

  • Purpose: This study is to identify the health promoting behaviors, health belief, and self-efficacy of visiting nurses working for the Health Visiting Project in Seoul and to determine the predictors of influencing health promoting behaviors. Methods: Data were collected from an online survey of 496 visiting nurses form 25 districts in Seoul. Using SPSS ver. 24, the study performed descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlations, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean scores for health promoting behaviors and self-efficacy were slightly higher than that of the median, whereas health belief showed in the median. The factors influencing health promoting behavior were perceived barriers, perceived sensitivity, self-efficacy, and age. These variables explained 36.0% of health promoting behaviors(F=60.62, p<.05). Conclusion: To prevent illness and to promote the health of the population, the visiting nurse mainly performs health screening, health education and counseling. To fulfill these responsibilities, the visiting nurse should be healthy and perform health promoting behaviors well, effectively serving as a model for their clients. Most of the visiting nurses were middle-aged, thus, it is necessary to strengthen health promotion activities that manage physical and psychological health at the individual level.

간호대학생의 신체이미지, 자기효능감이 건강증진생활양식에 미치는 융합 연구 (A Convergence Study about the Influence of Body Image, and Self-Efficacy on Health Promotion Lifestyle of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 신체이미지, 자기효능감 및 건강증진생활양식의 관계를 파악하고 건강증진생활양식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 G시와 J시에 소재한 3개 대학교 175명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 기술분석, pearson' correlation, t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression로 분석하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 건강증진생활양식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 신체이미지, 자기효능감 순으로 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 건강증진생활양식의 수행을 높이기 위해 신체이미지를 긍정적으로 인식하고, 자기효능감 증진시킬 수 있도록 구성된 체계적 교육전략과 프로그램을 개발해야 할 것이다.

초.중.고등학교 보건교사의 보건수업 수행에 대한 교사효능감 관련요인 (Factors related to Teachers' Self-efficacy in Korean Health Teachers)

  • Purpose: There is little known about teachers' self-efficacy in health teachers even though over 75% of Korean health teachers have offered school health education. The purpose of this study was to examine factors related to teachers' self-efficacy in Korean health teachers. Methods: Data were collected from school nurses from 474 schools such as 236 elementary schools, 140 middle schools and 98 high schools in Seoul with the stratified random sampling method. The associations among school characteristics, health teachers' characteristics, and teachers' self-efficacy were examined by ANOVA (Anlaysis of variable). To identify the possible predictors of teachers' self-efficacy, ANCOVA (Analysis of covariance) was performed. Results: Two factors, school stage (elementary, middle or high schools) and types of school (public or private school), were significantly related to teachers' self-efficacy. Teachers' self-efficacy of health teachers in elementary schools was significantly higher than that in middle and high schools. Health teachers in private school had significantly higher teaching self-efficacy than ones in public school. Conclusion: Given the fact that health teachers in elementary and private school had higher teachers' self-efficacy, an intervention to strengthen teachers' self-efficacy of health teachers in middle and high schools as well as ones in public school is required to help children and adolescents learn good health behaviors.
