By studying the awareness level of students, for the need to protect personal information, and also by studying students' level of perception as to which information needs protection, this study aims to show that increased education is beneficial, and necessary, across all university majors. This increased education is necessary to improve information security, and increase the responsible sharing of private data which has many benefits, specifically in the Healthcare field. Utilizing student volunteers across multiple majors at a university in South Korea. These questionnaires measured the students' awareness of private information, their perception of private information and also the students' experience in receiving university level education regarding private information and the need for its protection. This study shows that, when compared to students in other fields, students in the field of public health had a higher level of awareness regarding the consequences of personal information disclosure for both public purposes and medical research. Within the parameters of this study, this outcome can be explained as the result of exposure to educational curriculum which contained information related to personal information protection. This increased education raised the student's awareness of which information is considered private, as well as, which information is valuable when responsibly shared. As a result, this study shows that an increase in education regarding information privacy, should be included in all university majors, and gives us evidence to support that this additional education is valuable to students at all levels and should be encouraged.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in foot type of female college students according to academic major in both feet. The subjects for this study were 216 female students who took liberal arts classes in Seoul. Dependent variables were students' field of study -specifically whether or not they majored in physical education. Analysis of students' foot type and Malalignment Syndrome were measured using Resting Calcaneous Stance Position (RCSP). There were five categories for RCSP angle: Severe Pes Planus (< $-5^{\circ}$), Pes Planus ($-3^{\circ}{\sim}-4^{\circ}$), Pes Rectus (${\pm}2^{\circ}$), Pes Cavus ($+3^{\circ}{\sim}+4^{\circ}$), Severe Pes Cavus (> $+5^{\circ}$). ${\chi}^2$ analysis was used for statistical analysis. RCSP for all subjects (432 feet) occurred at the following frequency: Pes Planus(43.9%), Pes Rectus(43.8%), and Pes Cavus(12.3%). These levels were different for physical education majors, with Pes Planus at 42.6%, Pes Rectus at 49.4%, and Pes Cavusat 8.0%. Non-physical education majors exhibited Pes Planus at 45.0%, Pes Rectus at 39.9%, and Pes Cavus at 15.1%. 15.3% (33 subjects) of all students had Malalignment Syndrome. In conclusion, 56.2% of female college students had a foot deformity. There was nearly four times more Pes Planus than Pes Cavus. According to these results, exercise can be prescribed to alleviate foot deformities, especially supination. Severe pronation and supination problems appeared less amongst students not majoring in physical education. Thus, although exercise might be one cause of foot deformity, it can also help resolve problems with over-supination. Further study will be needed to understand and resolve the specific mechanism of over-supination.
Korea has recently invested much of its effort in fostering talents in scientific fields to establish a foundation for sustainable future growth. From this perspective, the ministry of education has come up with a special rule aimed at achieving the substantiality of engineering schools in universities. The ministry has been providing educational support by providing a tech-innovation center, industry-oriented education, and policies such as PRIME. Despite this support, most students in the natural science field end up being hired in fields not related to their majors. There has been a growing opinion regarding the need for career education for these students. In this research, based on a social cognitive career theory (SCCT) model that provides a comprehensive understanding of career development, this research would like to practically examine the relationship among college students' career preparation behaviors and influencing variables, such as grit, career decision-making self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and major interest. Data from 153 natural-science majors at A college in Korea were collected and analyzed using path analysis. The result was that the data strongly supported the model explaining the relationship between career preparation behaviors and influencing variables. Based on this result, we propose that career education that can promote grit, career decision-making self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and major interest is required to encourage students in the field of the natural sciences to pursue career preparation behaviors related to their majors.

Research design, data and methodology: The satisfaction survey were nine major curriculum surveys for each college, targeting students enrolled in a university. One university consisted of 9 colleges and 49 departments or majors. The survey period is approximately one month. Results: The highest item in the major curriculum reflects the educational goal of the department, with a score of 3.95. Conversely, the lowest item is 3.65 points, indicating that the major curriculum offers a wide range of subjects to choose from. As the questions are higher than the average score (3.83 points), the major curriculum is helping me grow my competency through academic achievement (3.90 points), the major curriculum is helping me set my career and finding a job (3.88 points), The major curriculum suggests specific performance standards for judging the achievement of a set target competency (3.88 points), and the major curriculum reflects social demands and changes (3.85 points). Conclusions: Students want that their major education faithfully reflects the educational goals of their major and that major education helps their ability to grow for academic achievement.

The purpose of this study was to examine the perception of health-related majors in their third year of college about the image of a dental hygienist as prospective dental personnels. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. Concerning perception of the image of a dental hygienist by geographic region, the college students from large cities gave 89.07 to that, and the college students from small and mid-sized urban areas gave 85.03. The former gave higher marks to the image of a dental hygienist, and the gap between the two was statistically significant. By department, the students who majored in physical therapy gave the highest score of 88.93, dental technology and radiology gave the second highest score of 86.91. The clinical pathology gave the third highest score of 83.28, and the gaps among them were significant. 2. As for their perception of the four subfactors(qualifications, roles, social participation and interpersonal relationship) of the image of a dental hygienist by geographic region, there were statistically significant gaps in their way of looking at the qualifications, roles and interpersonal relationship of a dental hygienist. By department, the physical therapy majors gave the highest marks to all the four subfactors. 3. When they were asked to give one or more answers to the question what affected their image building about a dental hygienist, the largest number of the students that accounted for 67.9 percent replied that the looks of dental hygienists whom they saw in dental clinics or hospitals impacted on their image of a dental hygienist.
The findings of the study illustrated that the college students felt more stress when they had to receive treatment for the sake of oral health, and that they experienced less stress when they took good care of their oral health for preventive purposes. A self-administered survey was conducted on 235 junior college students whose majors were unrelated to health in the region of Jeollanam-do from March 4 to 30, 2015. A total of 27.2% of the respondents had received dental caries treatment, and 48.1% had received periodontal treatment. When the stress of the college students about personality, appearance, families and interpersonal relationship was measured, they were most stressed out about their personality ($3.40{\pm}0.73$). Specifically, they scored highest in the item "It's such a hassle to do something" ($3.73{\pm}1.20$), and scored lowest in the item "I was concerned about someone else's problem" ($2.22{\pm}1.15$). The female students experienced more stress about their appearance, personality, families and interpersonal relationship than the male students. The male students felt more stress about their studies than the female students. The college students who had dental caries and periodontal diseases suffered stress that was above the average level, and the stress level of the group that had scaling experience and/or had received toothbrushing education, namely taking care of oral health for preventive purposes, was more below average than the other group that didn't. In a word, it's urgently required to take measures to prevent college students from having oral diseases, as the students who suffered from oral diseases and received treatment were more stressed out. The implementation and revitalization of systemized educational programs are required to help college students stay away from oral diseases to promote their oral health.
For the purposes of participation in research projects, living in a laboratory has become popular among male university students who tend to have less opportunity for nutrition education and overestimate their own health, suggesting possibilities of many undesirable practices of lifestyle and dietary habits. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate and compare health-related lifestyle practices, dietary habits, nutrition knowledge, food preference and dietary behaviors of the male university students according to residence type. The subjects were 260 (34, 15, 44, and 167, respectively for lab-living, self-boarding, dormitory and commuting) male engineering majors in the Gyeonggi area. Self-administered questionnaires consisted of general characteristics, health-related lifestyle practices, dietary habits, fast food consumption, nutrition knowledge, preference for foods and tastes, and self-examination of dietary behaviors. Lab-living subjects showed many undesirable practices, particularly with more smokers (p < 0.05), irregular eating (p < 0.01), overeating (p < 0.05) and skipping breakfast (p < 0.01), compared to the dormitory students and more time in computer/TV usage (p < 0.05), overeating (p < 0.05), more frequent use of fast-food (p < 0.05), less nutrition knowledge (p < 0.01) and less intake of milk/dairy products (p < 0.01) and fruits (p < 0.01), compared to commuting subjects. More smokers (p < 0.05) and irregular (p < 0.01) and unrelaxed meal times (p < 0.05), compared to the dormitory group, and less intake of fruits (p < 0.01) and dietary fiber (p < 0.01), compared to the commuting group were shown as undesirable practices of the self-boarding group. Therefore, continuous effort should be made to correct undesirable health- and diet-related practices found in this study in order to improve nutritional status as well as general health by developing a nutrition education program and contents of lectures focusing on more specific problems according to each subgroup such as lab-living and self-boarding male university students.
