  • In this paper, a new seven-parameter Mittag-Leffler function of a single complex variable is proposed as a generalization of the standard Mittag-Leffler function, certain generalizations of Mittag-Leffler function, hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric function. Certain essential analytic properties are mainly discussed, such as radius of convergence, order, type, differentiation, Mellin-Barnes integral representation and Euler transform in the complex plane. Its relation to Fox-Wright function and H-function is also developed.

  • This paper proposes an $H_{\infty}$ controller design method for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems using a fuzzy basis-function-dependent Lyapunov function. Sufficient conditions for the guaranteed $H_{\infty}$ performance of the T-S fuzzy control system are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). These LMI conditions are further used for a convex optimization problem in which the $H_{\infty}-norm$ of the closed-loop system is to be minimized. To facilitate the basis-function-dependent Lyapunov function approach and thus improve the closed-loop system performance, additional decision variables are introduced in the optimization problem, which provide an additional degree-of-freedom and thus can enlarge the solution space of the problem. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • The object of the present paper is to obtain certain results involving the H function of several complex variables. An integral involving the generalized Whittaker functions and the multiple H function has been evaluated and this result has been further utilized in finding out an expansion formula for the multiple H function in terms of the Laguerre polynomials. Some particular cases of interest have also been indicated.

  • In this paper, we first establish an interesting new finite integral whose integrand involves the product of a general class of polynomials introduced by Srivastava [13] and the generalized H-function ([9], [10]) having general argument. Next, we present five special cases of our main integral which are also quite general in nature and of interest by themselves. The first three integrals involve the product of $\bar{H}$-function with Jacobi polynomial, the product of two Jacobi polynomials and the product of two general binomial factors respectively. The fourth integral involves product of Jacobi polynomial and well known Fox's H-function and the last integral involves product of a Jacobi polynomial and 'g' function connected with a certain class of Feynman integral which may have practical applications.

  • Here, in this paper, we aim at establishing some new unified integral and differential formulas associated with the $\bar{H}$-function. Each of these formula involves a product of the $\bar{H}$-function and Srivastava polynomials with essentially arbitrary coefficients and the results are obtained in terms of two variables $\bar{H}$-function. By assigning suitably special values to these coefficients, the main results can be reduced to the corresponding integral formulas involving the classical orthogonal polynomials including, for example, Hermite, Jacobi, Legendre and Laguerre polynomials. Furthermore, the $\bar{H}$-function occurring in each of main results can be reduced, under various special cases.

  • The logic function synthesis using ULM U$_h$ is constructed based on canonic Reed-Muller expansion coefficient for a given function. This paper proposes the fast synthesis algorithm using ULM U$_h$ for ternary function. By using circuit cost and synthesis method of proposed in this paper, order of control input variable minimum number of ULM U$_h$ can be decided in the synthesis of n-variable ternary function. Accordingly, this method enables to optimum circuit realization for ternary function synthesis using ULM ULM U$_h$ and can be applied to ternary function synthesis using ULM U$_h$. The complexity of search for select the order of all control input variables is (n+2)(n-1)/2.

  • This paper deals with the evaluation of two definite integrals involving spheroidal wave function, H-function of two variables, and the generalized hypergeometric function. Also, an expansion formula for the product of generalized hypergeometric function and the H-function of two variables has been obtained. Since the H-function of two variables, spheroidal wave functions, and the generalized hypergeometric function may be transformed into a number of higher transcendental functions and polynomials, the results obtained in this paper include some known results as their particular cases. As an application of such results, a problem of heat conduction in a non-homogenous bar has been solved by using the generalized Legendre transform [9].

  • In this paper, we establish a theorem wherein we have obtained the image of modified H-transform under the fractional integral operator involving Foxs H-function. Three corollaries of this theorem have also been derived. Further, we obtain one interesting integral by the application of the third corollary. The importance of above findings lies in the fact that our main theorem involves Fox H-function which is very general in nature. The result obtained earlier by Tariq (1998) is a special case of our main findings.

  • Fractional calculus operators have been investigated by many authors during the last four decades due to their importance and usefulness in many branches of science, engineering, technology, earth sciences and so on. Saigo et al. [9] evaluated the fractional integrals of the product of Appell function of the third kernel $F_3$ and multivariable H-function. In this sequel, we aim at deriving the generalized fractional differentiation of the product of Appell function $F_3$ and multivariable H-function. Since the results derived here are of general character, several known and (presumably) new results for the various operators of fractional differentiation, for example, Riemann-Liouville, $Erd\acute{e}lyi$-Kober and Saigo operators, associated with multivariable H-function and Appell function $F_3$ are shown to be deduced as special cases of our findings.
