High Speed Pulse-based Flip-Flop with Pseudo MUX-type Scan for Standard Cell Library

  • This paper presents a high-speed pulse-based flip-flop with pseudo MUX-type scan compatible with the conventional master-slave flip-flop with MUX-type scan. The proposed flip-flop was implemented as the standard cell library using Samsung 130nm HS technology. The data-to-output delay and power-delay-product of the proposed flip-flop are reduced by up to 59% and 49%, respectively. By using this flop-flop, ARM11 softcore has achieved the maximum 1GHz operating speed.

  • For under-water communication system, due to limit of bandwidth and reflect of under-water wave, it is difficult to implement high-reliability high-speed digital communication system. To apply high-reliability and high-speed communication system for under-water system, the efficient combine the channel design with the use of multiple transmit and/or receive antennas. Therefore this paper analyze the space time coded system for under-water communication environment.

  • HBD(Hot Box Detector) is a device to monitor temperature rises to inappropriate lubricant use or mechanical defects. If a train operates without recognizing such an effect, it might result in bearing overheating due to defects and cause a dangerous situation that it could derail a train owing to the damage of axles. Now for the Gyeongbu HSL at 300km/h, the laws related to monitoring overheated axle bearings are notified in the Railway Safety Law and the Railway Construction Law. But in case of the conventional speed-up lines that a train operates at 180 to 230 km/h, the revised bill of relevant standards is ongoing. Therefore in this paper we present references and reviews investigated in order to use the optimal HBD in the conventional speed-up lines.

  • In order to achieve high efficiency and low cost, new high-speed addressing method is suggested. This can be implemented by reducing the address discharge time lag through the priming effect. This paper suggests a new ADR(Address During Reset) driving method which provides priming particles by a separated driving method without adding auxiliary electrode or auxiliary discharge. The experimental results show an approximately 100ns reduction in the formative delay time of address discharge and a reduction in jitter of over 200ns. Also, due to enough time being available for reset, there was a reduction of about 29$\%$ in linht emitted during the reset period considerably.

  • In order to observe the pattern forming of copper plate and chemical corrosion reaction, a study on the effect of the process parameters on the formation of micro-pattern by a photochemical etching of copper plate was carried out. The results are as follows : 1) Etching rate increases as the concentration of etchant increases under the regular condition of the temperature by the increasing of diffusion rate to surface. 2) Etching rate increases as the temperature of etchant increases by the fast acting of the material delivery of diffusion to surface under the regular condition of concentration. 3) It was found that etching speed increases as the material delivery of convection rising increased when the aeration speed of etchant increases. This result was from the fact acted by the material delivery of convection rising rather than material delivery of diffusion to the surface.

  • In this paper, the adaptive fuzzy logic controller(AFLC) is proposed, which uses real-coding genetic algorithm showing a good performance on convergence velocity and diversity of population among evolutionary computations. The effectiveness of the proposed AFLC was demonstrated by computer simulation for speed control system of AC servo motor. As a result of simulation for the AC servo motor, it is shown the proposed AFLC has the better performance on overshoot, settling time and rising time than the PI controller which is used when tuning AFLC.

  • This paper presents a novel nonlinear speed control strategy for induction motor utilizing exact feedback linearization with states feedback. The speed and flux control loops utilize nonlinear feedback which eliminates the need for tuning, while ordinary proportional-integral controllers are used to control the stator current of d-axis the speed. The control scheme is derived in rotor field coordinates and employs an appropriate estimator for estimation of the rotor flux angle, flux magnitude.

거리함수와 속력함수에서, 거리와 속력의 관계에 대한 학생들의 인식과 표현의 변화과정에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Change Process of Students' Perception and Expression About Distance and Speed in Distance Function and Speed Function)

  • 본 연구는 '시간, 거리, 속력'의 관계에 대한 학생들의 인식과 표현을 교수실험을 통하여 세밀하게 관찰한 연구이다. 이 과정에서 학생들의 '시간, 거리, 속력'의 관계에 대한 인식의 변화가 드러났으며, 학생들은 평균속력에 대하여 거리함수에서 구간의 양 끝점을 잇는 선분의 기울기라는 관점으로 인식하는 것 외에도 속력함수에서 사각형의 높이로 인식하여 '시간, 거리, 속력'을 이해하고 있음을 보여주었다. 이 과정에서 '거리=시간${\times}$속력'의 관계를 '거리=시간${\times}$평균속력'으로 확장하는 장면을 드러내었다. 본 연구는 제한된 소수 학생을 대상으로 교수실험을 진행하였지만, 학생들의 '시간, 거리, 속력'의 관계에 대한 인식과 표현의 변화 과정에 대한 관찰을 통하여 여러 시사점을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구 결과가 추후 미적분 학습 모델 구성을 위한 다양한 연구의 시발점이 되기를 기대해본다.

  • The deformation of polymers under high loading-rate conditions will be a governing factor to be considered in their impact-resistant applications such as protective shields and transparent armor. In this paper, the deformation and fracture behaviors of polymeric materials such as PE, PC and PEEK have been investigated by Taylor Impact tests. Taylor cylinder impact tests and high speed photography are introduced to examine the deformation behavior under dynamic loading condition. 20 mm air gun was used to perform the impact experiments. Cylindrical projectiles have been impacted onto a hardened steel anvil at a velocity ranging from 100 to $350\;ms^{-1}.$ Along the barrel line, a photo-sensor which measures the speed of the projectile, four digital cameras which has shutter speed of 1/917,000sec and a rigid anvil were set up. After impact experiments, the shapes of projectiles and images taken using high speed cameras were analysed. Depending on materials adopted, they showed a variety in deformation and fracture behaviors.

격자형 용접선 추적을 위한 용접 이동로봇의 모델링 및 제어 (Modeling and Control of Welding Mobile Robot for the Tracking of Lattice Type Welding Seam)

  • This paper presents the motion control of a mobile robot with arc sensor for lattice type welding. Its dynamic equation and motion control method for welding speed and seam tracking are described. The motion control is realized in the view of keeping constant welding speed and precise target line even though the robot is driven along a straight line or comer. The mobile robot is modeled based on Lagrange equation under nonholonomic constraints and the model is represented in state space form. The motion control of the mobile robot is separated into three driving motions of straight locomotion, turning locomotion and torch slider controls. For the torch slider control, the proportional integral derivative (PID) control method is used. For the straight locomotion, a concept of decoupling method between input and output is adopted and for the turning locomotion, the turning speed is controlled according to the angular velocity value at each point of the comer with range of $90^{\circ}$ constrained to the welding speed. The proposed control methods are proved through simulation results and the results have proved that the mobile robot has enough ability to apply the lattice type welding line.
