  • The study examined the pathways from maternal reactions to children's negative emotions to children's emotion intelligence through children's resilience by gender. The participants in this study comprised 413 elementary school 4th-6th graders (of which 214 were boys, and 199 were girls). They completed questionnaires on maternal reactions to children's negative emotions, children's resilience and levels of children's emotional intelligence. Data were analyzed by means of T-test and structural equation modeling. In the case of the male group, it was found that maternal emotion coaching, when done indirectly, but not directly, had an influence on their levels of emotional intelligence. On the other hand, in the case of the female group, it was found that emotion coaching, when done indirectly, as well as directly, had an influence on their levels of emotional intelligence. Therefore, these results indicate that children's resilience mediated the effects of maternal emotion coaching on emotional intelligence. It also found that there are distinct pathways from maternal reactions to children's negative emotions to emotion intelligence through resilience by gender.

  • Considering the necessity for individuals to check and manage their wellness to promote happiness, this study conducted preliminary research on the effect of wellness enhancement of the self-life coaching app. Thirty-six participants were randomly assigned to experimental groups 1 and 2 and a control group, respectively. In particular, the experimental groups were asked to perform self-life coaching for 4 weeks using a research app. Weekly feedback was provided to experimental group 1, but not to experimental group 2. The wellness index for workers (WIW) and the Korean wellness scale (KWS) were used as dependent variables. The analysis results of interaction effects between pre-, post-, and follow-up time points and groups reveal no statistically significant effects in both dependent variables, but the tendency of the effects was confirmed. Moreover, no difference was determined in terms of the presence or absence of weekly feedback in the experimental treatment effect. As a result of repeated measures variance analysis on KWS measured at five times, the wellness enhancement effect over time was statistically significant. Meanwhile, the polynomial trend analysis result confirmed the linear effect of the experimental treatment on wellness. The participation opinion survey also revealed that 84.2% of the participants perceived the activity to be helpful, and 78.9% responded that they would use it once every 1 or 2 weeks if the app is commercially available. This study is meaningful in that it suggests a methodology for utilizing the self-life coaching app so that anyone can use it to promote their wellness and partially confirms the effectiveness of this method.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically verify whether there are differences according to group characteristics in the effect of job characteristic requirements on practice performance in university long-term on-site training. Specifically, the relationship between job characteristics (job scope, job content, coaching, benefits), practical satisfaction, and occupational competencies was examined according to the group characteristics (gender types, major types, corporation types). For this purpose, the survey data were collected and analyzed for 752 students who participated in K university long-term on-site training. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that the job characteristics (job scope job content, coaching, benefits) had structural relationship affecting occupational competence through mediation of practice satisfaction. Second, As for the differences according to the group characteristics, there were differences in the relations. Based on the result, theoretical and practical implications and follow-up studies were proposed.

  • This study aims to investigate the impact of a mobile-based human coaching healthcare service provided for diabetic patients by nurses on their self-management ability. This study collected data from 311 persons who were diagnosed with diabetes from all over the country, and the collected data were analyzed through SPSS Win 23. The results of the study are summarized as follows: First, it was found that the utilization of a glucose meter by the provision of the mobile-based human coaching healthcare service was men group, and there was a statistically significant difference (${\chi}^2=6.059$, p= .048*). Second, there was a positive correlation in the utilization between the glucose meter and an activity tracker band by the provision of the mobile-based human coaching healthcare service, which was statistically significant (r=.660, p< .001). Third, as a result of checking the changes of the utilization of the glucose meter by the provision of the mobile-based human coaching healthcare service, it was maintained between 79% and 41% from Week 1 through 49. In conclusion, this study partially confirmed that the mobile-based human coaching health service was easily accessible and cost-effective in enhancing the participants'self-healthcare ability.

To this end, 30 infants aged 5 years residing in the Seoul area were selected to form 15 experimental groups and 15 control groups. An emotional coaching program using animation for 15 children aged 5 years in the experimental group was conducted 7 times a week for 50 minutes each. The main contents of the program were organized to name the emotions of children aged 5 years old through various emotion scenes, to recognize my emotions and to empathize with the emotions of others. To verify the effectiveness of the program, peer competence and communication with the classroom teacher (social competency test) were conducted before, after, and after (4 weeks after the end of coaching). As a result, both peer competence and communication with the classroom teacher were significant. And the program continuity was verified. Finally, the implications and limitations of the study through the results of this study, and suggestions for future research were discussed.

The investigation process of this study was done in two phases. The first phase was to development an educational program through video tape. A telephone coaching program served as a follow-up to the educational video program and provided encouragement and support to the subjects. The second phase was the experimental stage. This experimentation was conducted to determine whether an educational program based on theory of Bandura would increase self-efficacy and management of menopause. Results : The developed video consisted of 2 parts. Part one discussed symtoms and management of menopause. Part two reflected the vicarious step-by-step success of middle-aged women's of menopause through the effective use of the 5 factors mentioned above. Telephone coaching program served as a followed to the educational video program and provided encouragement and support to the subjects. Total length of video is 32 minutes. Hypothesis stated in phase two were supported by the following result. Experimental group increased general-self-efficacy scores. Experimental group increased concrete-self-efficacy scores. Experimental group increased objective and subjective management of menopause scale.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effective posture for air pistol shooting. Participants were 3 male athletes of shooting with at least five years of experience and another group of 3 males athletes with less than three years of experience. For the purpose, the shooting motion was analysed using three dimensional image technology. Data from each event for the two groups, competent and less competent ones, were compared to see the differences from the kinematical point of view. Time of period in competent group was longer than less competent group during the shooting posture. Displacement of center of mass and pistol about medial/lateral and antero/posterior in competent group was little than less competent group from aim to shooting. And these result were effect to the velocity. Distance and time in competent group within coaching machine were smaller than less competent group. To the result, it was appear that precision of aim in competent group was higher than less competent group.
