기록영화 식코를 활용한 수업콘텐츠가 국민건강보험제도에 대한 인식과 태도에 미치는 효과 (The effects of General Education Content using Documentary Film on Perception and Attitudes towards National Health Insurance System)

  • 이 연구에서는 기록영화 <식코>를 활용한 교양수업이 수강생의 국민건강보험제도에 대한 인식과 태도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 우리나라는 전 국민을 대상으로 공적 건강보험제도를 운영하고 있으나 선진국보다 상대적으로 낮은 보장성과 의료공급자의 저수가에 대한 불만, 그리고 민간의료보험 가입 확대로 인해 공보험의 역할 강화 노력에 대한 국민의 지지를 당연하게 기대하기 어려워 보인다. 국민건강보험제도는 전 국민의 의료서비스에 대한 접근성 강화 뿐 아니라 보험료에 따른 급여서비스 차별이 없어 민간보험에 비해 저소득층에 대한 의료보장에 있어 중요한 기능을 한다. 노인인구가 급격하게 증가하고 건강에 대한 국민적 관심이 높은 만큼 공적 건강보험제도의 지속과 역할 강화는 중요한 사안이며, 이는 국민적 지지를 바탕으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이에 일개 대학의 교양과목 수강생을 대상으로 민간보험의 부정적인 측면을 지적한 <식코>의 내용을 수업 콘텐츠로 학습하고, 학습 전후의 국민건강보험에 대한 태도를 비교하였다. 실증분석 결과를 바탕으로 제도에 대한 이해를 도모하는 데에 활용할 수 있는 교육콘텐츠 개발에 대하여 논하였다.

A Qualitative Inquiry Into the Challenges of Medical Education for Retention of General Practitioners in Rural and Underserved Areas of Iran

  • Objectives: General practitioners (GPs) retention in rural and underserved areas highly effects on accessibility of healthcare facilities across the country. Education seems to be a critical factor that affects GPs retention. Thus, the present study aimed at inquiry into medical education challenges that limit their retention in rural and underserved areas. Methods: A qualitative approach was applied for the aim of this study. Data were gathered via 28 semi-structured interviews with experts at different levels of Iran's health system as well as GPs who retained and refused to retain working in rural settings. Interviews mainly were performed face-to-face and in some cases via telephone during 2015 and then coded and analyzed using content analysis approach. Results: Iran's medical education is faced with several challenges that were categorized in four main themes including student selection, medical students' perception about their field of study, education setting and approach, curriculum of medical education. According to experts this challenges could results in making GP graduates disinterested for practicing in rural and underserved areas. Conclusions: Challenges that were found could have negative effects on retention. Modification in student's perception about rural practice could be done via changing education setting and approach and curriculum. These modifications could improve GPs retention in rural and underserved areas.

직업교육 중심 고등학교 교육과정 편성 현황 분석 - 대구·경북 전자계열 학과를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Curriculum of Vocational Hish Schools - Focused on Electron-Related Departments of Daegu and Gyungsangbuk-do)

  • The purposes of this research are to analyze and compare curriculum of vocational high schools. In order to complete the purposes, the method of curriculum document analysis was used. Analysis subjects are Meister high schools, Technical high schools and Electronic high schools operating electron-related departments in Daegu and Gyungsangbuk-do. The conclusions of this research are as follows: Firstly, the educational goals of the vocational high schools were largely to educate professional men. The educational goals of vocational high school need to be improved in terms of high school's general educational goals and character education. Secondly, curriculum of vocational high schools consists of general subjects and specialized subjects and the rates of them vary according to region and school type. Thirdly, there were various general subjects by region and school type. Each school needs to organize the subjects to suit the progress of their students and graduates. Finally, there is a need to review the scope and sequence of specialized subjects.

초산모를 위한 산후간호 교육의 효과 (Effects of Education on Primiparas' Postpartial care)

  • The study was to find whether the educational program contributed to increase of knowledge and self-efficacy of the postpartal primiparas. This study aimed at improvement of the educational effect for postpartal primiparas. The Subjects were 34 primiparas who were admitted to the obstetric ward in a University hospital from November 15th to December 9th, 1999. The Subjects were those who had no labor pain at the admission time, had no complications during labor and delivery and, gave birth to a healthy baby. They were tested on knowledge and self-efficacy two times, one at the admission time and prior to discharge. After the first test nurses in a maternity ward taught them on postpartal care. Two tools were developed by authors based on literature review. The test tool fr knowledge of postpartal car consisted of 23 items. The test tool for self-efficacy of postpartal care consisted of 16 items. Analysis of demographic data were analyzed with calculation of percentage. Score differences between the first test and the second test were analyzed with paired t-test. The Spss (Win 8.0) program was used for data analysis. The results are as follows. 1. There were not significant influencing general characteristics of primiparous to pre-educational knowledge. There were significant influencing general characteristics of primiparous to post-educational knowledge : occupation(t=13.04, p=0.00), postpartal education(t=5.51, p=0.02). 2. There were not significant influencing general characteristics of primiparous to pre-educational self-efficacy. There were significant influencing general characteristics of primiparous to post-educational self-efficacy : antenatal education(t=5.53, p=0.02) 3. Primiparas' knowledge of postpartal care increased significantly after education(t=13.04, p=0.00). 4. Primiparas' self-efficacy of postpartal care increased significantly after education(t=5.51, p=0.02). 5. Correlation between knowledge and self-efficacy was r=.360(p=0.03). We suggest follow-up studies to find whether primiparas' self-efficacy will last after discharge or not.

The DNA Repair Gene ERCC6 rs1917799 Polymorphism is Associated with Gastric Cancer Risk in Chinese

  • Objective: Excision repair cross-complementing group 6 (ERCC6) is a major component of the nucleotide excision repair pathway that plays an important role in maintaining genomic stability and integrity. Several recent studies suggested a link of ERCC6 polymorphisms with susceptibility to various cancers. However, the relation of ERCC6 polymorphism with gastric cancer (GC) risk remains elusive. In this sex- and age-matched case-control study including 402 GC cases and 804 cancer-free controls, we aimed to investigate the association between a potentially functional polymorphism (rs1917799 T>G) in the ERCC6 regulatory region and GC risk. Methods: The genotypes of rs1917799 were determined by Sequenom MassARRAY platform and the status of Helicobacter pylori infection was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Odd ratios (ORs) and 95% confidential interval (CI) were calculated by logistic regression analysis. Results: Compared with the common TT genotype, the ERCC6 rs1917799 GG genotype was associated with increased GC risk (adjusted OR=1.46, 95%CI: 1.03-2.08, P=0.035). When compared with (GT+TT) genotypes, the GG genotype also demonstrated a statistical association with increased GC risk (adjusted OR=1.38, 95%CI: 1.01-1.89, P=0.044). This was also observed for the male subpopulation (GG vs. TT: adjusted OR=1.71, 95%CI: 1.12-2.62, P=0.013; G allele vs. T allele: adjusted OR=1.32, 95%CI: 1.07-1.62, P=0.009). Genetic effects on increased GC risk tended to be enhanced by H. pylori infection, smoking and drinking, but their interaction effects on GC risk did not reach statistical significance. Conclusions: ERCC6 rs1917799 GG genotype might be associated with increased GC risk in Chinese, especially in males.

초ㆍ중등 영재학생의 연구윤리 의식 조사 (Survey of Elementary and Middle School Gifted Students' Perceptions on Research Ethics)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학부설 과학영재교육원 초 중등 영재학생들의 연구윤리 의식을 분석함으로써 연구윤리교육에의 시사점을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 연구대상은 대학부설 과학영재교육원 초 중등 영재학생 180명과 초 중등 일반학생 180명이다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, '연구자는 자신의 연구에 자부심과 책임감을 가져야 한다'와 같은 항목에서는 영재학생, 일반학생 모두 의식이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 반대로 '집단으로 하는 탐구활동에서 탐구에 참여를 하지 않은 사람은 연구자에 포함시키지 않는 것이 옳다고 생각한다' 항목의 경우 영재학생, 일반학생 모두에서 가장 낮은 의식을 나타내었다. 전체적으로 영재학생은 일반 학생보다 연구윤리 의식이 높으며, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(p<.05). 둘째, 영재학생의 교육 분야별 윤리의식을 비교한 결과 과학영재, 수학영재, 정보영재에 따라 '연구자의 기본자세' 항목에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 셋째, 초등 영재학생과 중등 영재학생 간에는 '생각과 표현의 윤리' 항목에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 넷째, 연구윤리교육 경험이 있는 경우와 연구 경험 횟수가 많은 경우 연구윤리 의식이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. '과학, 기술, 생명 연구 윤리' 항목의 경우 영재학생과 일반학생의 연구경험 횟수에 따른 상호작용 효과가 유의미하게 나타났다(p<.05).

중학교 일반학급과 영재학급의 과학수업에서 교사와 학생사이의 언어적 상호작용 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Verbal Interaction between Teachers and Students for the Gifted and the General Science Class in Middle School)

  • 이 연구는 중학교 일반학급과 영재학급의 과학수업을 관찰하여 교사의 발문과 피드백, 학생의 응답에 대한 유형과 빈도 분석을 통해 교사와 학생사이의 언어적 상호작용을 비교 분석한 것이다. 연구 결과, 일반학급의 과학수업에서 교사들은 교과서의 내용을 정리해서 묻거나 그대로 안내하는 발문을 많이 사용하였고, 재진술 형태의 즉각 피드백을 주로 사용하였다. 학생들은 네, 아니오, 와 같은 단순 확인 단답형 응답을 많이 사용하였으며, 언어적 상호작용 모형은 인지 기억적 사고 발문-단답형 응답-즉각 피드백 순서가 가장 많았다. 영재학급의 과학수업에서 교사들은 이유가 뭐에요? 왜 그런 거예요? 와 같은 개방적 발문의 확산적 사고 발문과 평가적 사고 발문을 사용하였고, 설명형 형태의 즉각 피드백을 주로 사용하였다. 일반학급과 비교하여 지연 피드백은 높게 나타났으나 즉각 피드백은 낮게 나타났다. 학생들은 짧은 단어나 간단한 문장 형태의 단답형으로 응답하였으며, 수업참여가 보다 적극적이었다. 언어적 상호작용 모형은 인지 기억적 사고 발문-문장 형태 단답형 응답-지연 피드백 순서가 많았다.

간호학 전공학생의 교육과정에 대한 문화적 자각 (Cultural Awareness of Students in a Nursing Education Program)

  • Purpose: South Korea is rapidly changing into a multicultural society; the nursing discipline faces the need to educate its students in cultural competence to meet the health care needs of an ethnically diverse population. However, there is little evidence suggesting that nursing programs provide this education. The purpose of this study was to measure nursing students' cultural awareness in a nursing education program. Methods: Four hundred thirty-three nursing students at 4 universities in Daejeon participated in this cross-sectional descriptive study, which was held from August to September 2012. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires based on the Cultural Awareness Scale(CAS), and demographics included general and cultural characteristics. Results: The mean cultural awareness score was 4.54, which was relatively low compared to studies completed in other countries. The highest rating was in the cognitive awareness subscale, and the lowest was in the general education experiences subscale in CAS. The level of cultural awareness was significantly different in those who had experienced overseas travel. Those students also perceived a greater need for cultural education. Conclusion: The study's finding suggest the need for a transcultural nursing education program designed to enhance the level of cultural awareness in Korea's nursing students.

고등학교 수산경영일반 교과과정 구성과 변화에 대한 연구 (Study of Curriculum Construction and Changes in High School Textbook of the Fisheries Business Administration General)

  • Though the history of fisheries business administration education has it's own uniqueness, the research or study of that still insufficient. And in spite of the structural shift of society and environmental diversity, there's few research that analyzing or examining the curricular constitution and change recently. The process of this research was implemented with investigating the objective and content domains concerning marine education in the fisheries and marine curriculum and changes of them. The changes of fisheries business administration education reviewed and analyzed in the view point of construction of the textbook, contents of the each changes and recency comparison of tables and figures of the high school textbook of the fisheries business administration general. The results show that most of the changes have been reflected by the demands of the society including fisheries related law, policy and distribution networks. But there are still some errors and necessity of improvements in data and descriptions. The results of this study would help develop sustainable curriculum design for further changes and give more effective guidelines for identifying the core of fisheries business administration education.
