Salvage has been allowed as general average since 1974. However, the adoption of YAR 2004 which had reflects cargo interest's position has made salvage unallowable in general average. The YAR do not have the force of a convention and only apply by mutual agreement between the parties to the contract of carriage. Thus, it is important that any changes to the Rules have the consent of major stakeholder. However, shipowners generally refuged to accept the incorporation of the 2004 Rules. The revised 2016 Rules is the result of compromise between the ship and cargo interests. YAR 2016 Rule VI has the premise that salvage is allowable as general average. However, with regard to the types of salvage that are payable independently by ship and cargo such as under Lloyd's Open Form it does not allow these type of salvages as general average and reapportion them, unless causes significantly inequitable result and meets five conditions. In addition, it makes the adjuster's task much easier as it avoids the deduction in respect of salvage payment can readily be calculated by total amount paid to the salvor. The salvage issue to be dealt with in YAR 2016 reduces the complexity, cost and delay in adjusting general average.
This study identified correlations between perceived family support and hopelessness in patients admitted to Neuro - surgical Intensive Care Units. The purpose was to enhance theoretical understanding of the relationships of these two variables. The subjects of this study were 51 patients admitted to N-lCU, at three general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected by researcher in structured interviews from Aug. 12 to Oct. 13, 1992. The research tools were parts of the Moos Family Environment Scale and the Beck Hopelessness Scale. The general characteristic data were analyzed for frequency and percentage ; the hypothesis was tested by the pearson product Moment Correlation Coefficient. After normality tests by using Kolmogorov - Sminorvtest, and T- test, ANOVA and Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal -Wallis test were used on the Family Support and the Hopelessness about general charcteristics. The results of the above analysis were as follows 1) The average family support score for the group was 63.61 (tool average 51) and item average was 3.74 (tool item average 3) : the family support score of this sample was higher than average. The average family cohesion score of family support was 35.25 (tool average 27) and item average was 3.91 (tool item average 3). The average family expression score of family support was 28.35 (tool average 24) and item average was 3.57 (tool average 3). In this sample, perceived family expression was lower than family cohesion. 2) The average hopelessness score was 45.88 (tool average 60) and item average was 2.29 (tool item average 3) : the hopelessness score of this sample was low in comparison to the average. 3) The hypothesis in this study was supported. The main hypothesis that the higher the perceived family support level, the lower the level Of the hopelessness, was Supported (r=-.3869 p=.003). The sub-hypothesis that the higher the perceived family cohesion level, the lower the level of hopelessness, was supported(r=-.3688 p=.004). The sub-hypothesis that the higher the perceived family expression level, the lower the level of hopelessness, was supported (r=-.3068 p=.014). 4) General characteristics of the objects related to family support were ‘economic status’(p=.025) and ‘helping person’(P=.044) : the higher the economic status, the greater the family support. When the patient identified the helping person as a spouse, family support was rated more highly. The only general characteristic related to family cohesion was ‘helping person’(p=.041). No general characteristics were related to family expression. 5) The one general characteristic related to hopelessness was ‘education’(p=.002) : the higher their education, the lower their hopelessness. For these ICU patients, were related perceived family support and hopelessness, and family expression level was low in comparison to family cohesion level. The perceived family support of these seriously ill patients in situational crisis may have influenced the patient's emotional reaction of hopelessness. This study concluded that nurses in the ICU confirm the family support of the patient, and involve the family as the most intimate support systems in the care of the patient to help reduce the patient's hopelessness.
In this study, the ion index characteristics of small and medium urban land use types were investigated in the city of Chungju. The average temperature for each land use type was in the order: general commercial district ($29.59^{\circ}C$) > general residential district ($28.34^{\circ}C$) > productive green district ($28.31^{\circ}C$). The average relative humidity was in the order: productive green district (70.12%) > general residential district (69.93%) > general commercial district (66.48%). The average wind speed was in the order: productive green district (0.95 m/s) > general commercial district (0.87 m/s) > general residential district (0.54 m/s). Positive and negative ions were investigated to determine the ion index by land use type. The average amount of positive ion generated was in the order: general commercial district ($737ea/cm^3$) > general residential district ($492ea/cm^3$) > productive green district ($445ea/cm^3$). The average negative ion production decreased in the order: productive green district ($930ea/cm^3$) > general residential district ($754ea/cm^3$) > general commercial district ($744ea/cm^3$). The ion index calculated from measured data can be arranged in the order: productive green district (2.09) > general residential district (1.53) > general commercial district (1.01). These results confirm the state of positive and negative ion generation in each land use type. Further, the differences in the ion index by land use type were confirmed. However, a limitation of this study is that simple summer measurements were conducted, and seasonal characteristics were not considered. Therefore, any future investigation and research should consider seasonal variation characteristics.

Recently a new concept of shadow prices, called average shadow price, has been developed. This paper provides a dual problem and the corresponding duality theorems justifying this new shadow price. The general duality framework is used. As an important secondary result, a new reduced class of price function, the pp. h.-class, has been developed for the general duality theory. This should be distinguished from other known reductions achieved in some specific areas of mathematical programming, in that it sustains the strong duality property in all the mathematical programs. The new general dual problem suggested with this pp. h.-class provides, as an optimal solution, the average shadow prices.
This study is to investigate the increasing membership rate against the previous year among the members registered as representative members and general members of the Korea Dental Technician Association from 1990 to 2004. With this study, we aim to provide more systematic data about the current status of each members in the KDTA and reconsider the needs for the practical and distinguishing management of the members. Results of the study are as follows; 1. The increasing rate from 1990 to 2004: whole members; 2.14, representative members; 2.22, general members; 2.11. Average of increasing rate against the previous year: general members; 6.10%, whole members; 5.94%, representative members; 5.91%. 2. The increasing rate in the city branch from 1990 to 2004: whole members; 2.12, representative members; 2.03, general members; 2.15. Average of increasing rate against the previous year: general members; 6.63%, whole members; 6.05%, representative members; 5.23%. 3. The increasing rate in the province branch from 1990 to 2004: whole members; 2.21, representative members; 2.74, general members; 2.01. Average of increasing rate against the previous year: representative members; 7.58%, whole members; 5.99%, whole members; 5.35%. 4. Mean ratio between representative members and general members from 1990 to 2004: 1:2.6 against the whole members, 1:2.8 in the city branch, 1:2.3 in the province branch. The ratio between representative members and general members in the year 2004: 1:3.1 in Kyoungnam province, 1:3.0 in Inchon, 1:2.9 in Kwangju that indicates a high ratio between two members and in the case of Chongbuk, the ratio between two members is rather low as shown in 1:1.1.

Background: This study tries to compare and analyze the removal effect of dental plaque of general dentifrice and pregnant women's dentifrice and quantify the results to provide basic data so that consumers can make reasonable choices when purchasing dentifrice, and also increase interest in the dental plaque. Methods: After forming a dental plaque (carbohydrate porridge) on the labial surface of the bovine teeth, a disclosing agent was applied. Then the same experimenter brushed the surface of the bovine teeth using an electric toothbrush and took photographs using a DSLR camera. Thereafter, the residual amount of dental plaque was analyzed using the ImageJ program, and SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical processing. Results: The average residual amount of dental plaque using the general dentifrice was 11.71% for Perio, 9.45% for Cliden, and 8.47% for 2080, and the average residual amount for the three types was approximately 9.88%. The average residual amount of dental plaque of pregnant women's dentifrice was 13.95% for Jeninmothers, 12.53% for Tntnmoms, and 12.63% for Mommiracle, and the average residual amount of the three types was approximately 13.04%. On comparing the average residual amount of dental plaque between general and pregnant women's dentifrices, it was observed to be 3.16% higher for the latter. However, the results were not statistically significant. Conclusion: According to the research results, there was no significant difference in removal effects of general dentifrice and pregnant women's dentifrice. In addition, when a pregnant woman uses the right toothbrushing method with pregnant women's dentifrice, it can prevent or inhibit the progression of the gestational periodontal disease. Therefore, we recommend pregnant women to use pregnant women's dentifrices.

The average points as to the recognition of sexual roles in the attitudes by the school nurses was 2.28, higher than that of the general teachers. The average points as to the recognition of sexual roles in the abilitis was 2.26, higher than that of the general teachers. These ascertain that school nurses recognize the man has higher superities in the occupational functions, the attitudes and the abilities than the woman. 2) The degrees of demand of sexual education by the subjects were compared as follows : As to the degrees of demand of sexual education, the school nurses showed higher demand than the general teachers in the concepts such as 'the society and sexualities, physiology and actual education'. 3) The levels of the consciousness of sexual education by the subjects were compared as follows : the general teachers showed the more strict attitudes than the school nurses against the lascivious sex objects and wanted the punishment against the related students and the general teachers have myth. They claimed that their family have no relation with the sexual violence or pornography. As to the masturbation, the general teachers showed the more conservative attitudes. 4) The opinions by the subjects as to the well-qualified person in charge of sexual education in school were compared as follows : 77.3% of the school nurses, and 36.1% of the general teachers supported the school nurses.
A purpose of study is to develop optimization and radiation dose exposure reference level by measuring actual radiation dose in condition of quality control of mammography equipment for 39 clinics. The result were as follows. First, we measured T-test separating radiology from general clinic. According to the test, mAs was measured at average 78.58 mAs; radiology at 80.16 mAs and general clinic at 77.22 mAs. And, kerma rate was measured at average 7.71 mGy/mR; radiology at 8.94 mGy/mR and general clinic at 6.66 mGy/mR. HVL was measured at average 0.42 mmAl; radiology at 0.40 mmAl and general clinic at 0.43 mmAl. Average glandular dose was measured at average 1.14 mGy; radiology at 1.09 mGy and general clinic at 1.19 mGy. Second, we measured value of mAs, HVL, processing method and so on dividing two groups. And, we compared and analyzed average value measured using T-test. As a result, there was significance level in SID(P<0.05). There was significance level in mAs(P<0.05). Because processor was measured at 1.00 mGy and CR at 1.17 mGy according to the processing method of radiology. Third, according to the correlation analysis, radiology had significance level between average glandular dose and mAs and general clinic had significance level between average glandular dose and SID(P<0.05). Forth, as a result of regression analysis, mAs affected 22.7%t of average glandular dose and SID affected 21.7% of average glandular dose, which had significance level(P<0.05). And, mAs affected 29.0% of average glandular dose in radiology and SID affected 29.1% of average glandular dose in general clinic, which was most influential.
The purpose of this study is to find out the educational needs for the coronary heart disease patients of a general hospital in a municipal general hospital. The study subjects were 90 outpatients who had been diagnosed as myocardial infection or angina at the hospital from January 3, 1998 to January 31, 1998. The questionaire was consisted of risk factors and educational needs for coronary heart disease patients. The qusetions on the education needs of the coronary heart disease were consist of 34 questions in 6 fields. In analyzing the data, the number and the percentage were calculated in patients general characteristics, the average and the standard-deviation were calculated to understand the educational needs, t-test and ANOVA were used to find out inter group difference on educational needs. In ANOVA, the advanced analysis was done by Scheffe-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. 52(57.8%) of the patients (90%) live in Kangnung-city and 95% of the patients live in the middle-east part of Korea. At the age distribution 39 to 80, 41.1% of the patients were in their sixties and average age was 62.4 years old. 40% of the patients left school in mid-course or graduated from middle school or high school 2. As a result of the study on the risk factors of the coronary heart disease, the patients who have hypertension and diabetes were 41.1% and 20% respectively. In smoking and drinking, smokers were 30% and drinkers were 40% and average of smoking and drinking duration over 30 years old. 47.8% were over 140mgHg systolic - BP and 45.8% were over 90mmHg diastolic - BP 3. The patients' educational needs average 94.88 (maximum 134), and item average 2.79(maximum 4.0), the highest needs field was the characteristic of disease 33.22(maximum 44). Item average 3.02 (maximum 4.0) and the lowest education needs field was the physical activity and exercise 10.21(maximum 16). Item average 2.55(maximum 4.0) 4. General characteristics which were different from the general characteristic educational needs were statistically different by group of educational level, occupation, age and sex. 5. The risk factors which were different from the coronary heart disease patients' risk factors educational needs were statistically different by groups of the heart disease patients in family and the patients who take regular exercise. with a result the nurses need to improve the educational programs while considering the high educational needs field and the characteristics which showed significant concerns statistically.
