본 연구의 목적은 전라남도 완도군 고금도 지역 지하수의 수리지구화학과 수소-산소동위원소를 파악하여 해수침투경로와 오염여부를 규명하는데 있다. 연구지역 지하수의 물리적인 특성은 중성과 전이환경에 속하며, 해수와 지표수의 영향을 받은 것으로 나타났다. 화학적인 특성에서도 해수의 침투, 육상의 오 ${\cdot}$ 폐수 및 농약이나 폐기물에 의해 오염이 진행되고 있다. 특히 지하수 중 여섯 지역에서 Cl은 먹는 샘물 기준치를 초과하는 것으로 나타났다. 파이퍼도에서 GG-4와 14지역은 해수의 침투로 오염되었으며, 수질유형을 구분하여 보면 GG-3, 7 및 13지역은 Na와 HCO$_{3}$가 지배적이고, GG-14지역은 해수와 같이 Na와 Cl이 지배적으로 나타났다. 수리지구화학적인 모델링 분석결과 해수의 방해석과 백운석 포화지수는 과포화상태이며, GG-3, 14 및 18지역에서 포화영역에 접근하고 있다. 수소-산소동위원소비에서 본 역 지하수의 기원은 순환수이며, GG-1, 5 및 14지역의 높은 산소동위원소는 지표수의 유입과 해수 침투에 의한 것이다. 본 연구결과 GG-14지역의 지하수는 해수의 침투에 의해 오염되어 있으며, GG-3, 7 및 13지역을 제외한 지하수들은 해수의 침투 및 인위적인 오염원에 의해 오염이 진행되고 있다.

Background : Stroke occurrences are prevalent and require intensive care for its treatment and rehabilitation. Acupuncture has been widely used in Korea throughout the history and provides an efficient method in the treatment of it. Objectives : To establish a distinctive and efficient acupuncture method for the treatment of stroke based in literature research. Method : We reviewed four Korean medical literature, $ll$治腫指南Guide to Swollen Sore Treatment$gg$, $ll$東醫寶鑑Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine$gg$, $ll$鍼灸經驗方Experiential Prescriptions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion$gg$, and $ll$舍岩鍼法Essential Rhymes on Acupuncture and Moxibustion by Master Sa-am$gg$, and analyzed the therapeutic characteristics in the treatment of stroke. Result : 1. In $ll$治腫指南Guide to Swollen Sore Treatment$gg$, various types of treatment can be found. Besides acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion with moxa tube, and bath therapy using Duchesneae Indicae Herba and Sal was applied. Needling in sublingual and vocal region, and also points like GB20, GB31, LI15, BL60, GV20, GV20, TE4, GB39, LU5, ST36, GB30 were frequently inserted. 2. In $ll$東醫寶鑑Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine$gg$, moxibustion treatment were in top priority. Points like GV20, LI15, LI11, GB31, ST36, GB39, LI4, GB20 pertinent to Governor, Conception, Gallbladder, Large Intestine, and Stomach meridian were most frequently needled. Selection of adjacent point was widely applied. 3. $ll$鍼灸經驗方Experiential Prescriptions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion$gg$ has some similarity compared to $ll$東醫寶鑑 Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine$gg$ in considering the moxa in top priority. But selected points far from the disease site. Main points were LI4, ST36, GB39, PC5, GV20, LI11, LR3, BL40, HT7. 4. $ll$校勘 舍岩道人鍼法Essential Rhymes on Acupuncture and Moxibustion by Master Sa-am$gg$ having the same content orders with $ll$鍼灸經驗方Experiential Prescriptions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion$gg$, it may had some influence from it. But the differences are also apparent. It emphasized in using mother-supplementing child-draining method, experiential prescriptions and visceral pattern identification. Conclusions : We could find various efficient methods through literature research of medical classics. This will not be limited in stroke alone but also will be applied in other diseases. This study will concurrently result in establishing distinctive therapeutic method characteristic of Korea.

Objectives: GG is the EtOH fraction of extract of Pueraria lobata. In this study, we aimed to elucidate a possibility that GG reduce obesity and obesity-derived complications such as cardiovascular and metabolic disease. Methods: The effects of GG on the estrogen-deficient obese rats and the level of gene expression in muscle of rats were investigated. Results: GG decreased body weight in obese rats with estrogen deficiency. GG increased leptin gene expression in obese rats with estrogen deficiency. GG decreased TNFa gene expression in obese rats with estrogen deficiency. And GG increased PPAR-gamma, PGC-1a, Prdx6, FDFT1, and ACC gene expression of those in obese rats. Conclusions: We conclude GG might reduce body weight and regulate gene expression of muscle in obese rats.

이 연구의 목적은 닮음 개념의 변천 과정에 대한 수학사 고찰을 바탕으로, 현재 수학 교과서에 나타난 닮음 정의를 분석하고 비판하는 것이다. 우선, 피타고라스학파의 닮음 정의, Euclid ${\ll}$원론${\gg}$의 닮음 정의, Clairaut의 ${\ll}$기하학원론${\gg}$의 닮음 정의, Birkhoff와 Beatly의 ${\ll}$기초기하학${\gg}$, SMSG의 ${\ll}$기하학${\gg}$의 닮음 정의를 분석하고, 현재 수학 교과서에 제시된 닮음 정의를 분석하였다. 수학사 고찰 결과를 바탕으로 교과서의 닮음 정의를 세 가지 측면에서 비판적으로 논의하고, 확인된 문제점에 대한 교육적 제언을 하였다.

To evaluate the antitumor activity and antimetastatic effects of Gobongeerlhobang(GG1B), studies were done experimentally. The results were obtained as follows: 1. GG1B extracts exhibited a significant cytotoxicity against HT1080, A549, SK-MEL-2 and SK-OV-3 cell lines. 2. The T/C% was 120.7% in GG1B treated group in S-180 bearing ICR mice. 3. GG1B extracts exhibited inefficient adhesive effect of A549, B16-BL6 cell to complex extracellular matrix. 4. GG1B extracts showed a significant inhibition of lung metastasis of B16-BL6 cells in C57BL/6. 5. In CAM assays, angiogenesis was insignificantly inhibited in GG1B treated group than control group. These results suggested that GG1B extracts might be usefully applied for prevention and treatment of cancer.

Objective : A study on $\ll$Maek-beop$\gg$ which is the first scription of pulse diagnosis method in history. Method : A translation of contents in $\ll$Maek-beop$\gg$ into modern concepts on the basis of researched books and the explanation of difficult characters and paragraphs to general concepts. Result : The pulse diagnosis method by comparison, moxibustion method, venesection method, a treatment of an abscess and the succession of treatment in $\ll$Maek-beop$\gg$ are delivered from $\ll$Sumen, 素問$\gg$, $\ll$Lingchui, 靈樞$\gg$. Conclusion : A $\ll$Maek-beop$\gg$ is the scription of the diagnosis of meridian and therapeutic method in $\ll$Zu bi shi yi mai jiu jing, 足臂十一脈灸經$\gg$, $\ll$yin yang shi yi mai jiu jing, 陰陽十一脈灸經$\gg$.

In the course of completing a National Research Foundation project, I recently found that a handwritten Korean manuscript of The Tale of Mei Fei is kept in the Adan Collection, which is a significant scholarly discovery given that no relevant research is available. The editions of the Tale of Mei Fei available in Korea include ${\ll}$藝苑?華${\gg}$ edition, ${\ll}$說?${\gg}$ edition, and the handwritten manuscript in Korean collected in the Adan Collection. Being the only handwritten Korean translation of the work, the Tale of Mei Fei in the Adan Collection was appended by the translations of ${\ll}$한셩뎨됴비연합덕젼${\gg}$ and ${\ll}$당고종무후뎐${\gg}$. As for the practice of translation of the work, literal "word to word" translation was done for the most part of the text; some sentences were occasionally translated liberally. Also, as for the poems in the text, pronunciation of each Chinese character was provided along with the translated text.

Objectives : This study investigated the neuroprotective effect of Gastodia Rhizoma-gamibang (GG) water extracts against scopolamine-induced neurotoxicity in the hippocampus of male Sprague-Dawley rats. Methods : The animals were divided into five different groups with six animals per each group. The normal group (Nor) was administered with saline, while the control group (Con) was administered with saline after scopolamine treatment. The experimental group (Exp) was administered orally GG extracts at doses of 200 mg/kg (GG1 group), 400 mg/kg (GG2 group), 1000 mg/kg (GG5 group) for 30 day after scopolamine treatment. Results : From a light microscopy study, the nuclei of neurons and glial cells in the hippocampus were more shrunken or condensed in the 30 day control group compared with normal group. In the experimental groups, proportional to the dose, recovered from neurotoxicity induced by scopolamine. The control group, the density of hippocampal neurons were reduced 17-20% compared to normal group. The densities of neurons from the CA1, and CA3 area of the hippocampus in the GG1, GG2 and GG5 groups significantly increased compared with the Con. In the experimental group, neuronal cells are recovered from scopolamine-induced damage. A number of glial cells are observed increase from GG2 and GG5 groups. The PAS-positive materials in the tissues hippocampus), was lower in the Exp than the Con. Conclusions : The present study demonstrates that Gastodia Rhizoma-gamibang extract reduces neuronal damage in the hippocampus of scopolamin-induced impairment mice.

Obejective : Based on ${\ll}$sixty-ninth Nan${\gg}$ (${\ll}$難經${\cdot}$六十九難${\gg}$) the interpromoting of the five element's balance method to discuss following 'when deficiency than should strengthen mother and when excessive than eliminate son' theories. Method : This strengthening and eliminating method is based on Jang-bu organ's balance method when 'east is excessive (liver excessive (肝實 )) and west is deficiency (lung deficiency (肺虛))' then 'eliminate the south and strengthen the north's method. Results : The seventy-fifth Nan (${\ll}$難經${\cdot}$七十五難${\gg}$) explains' son effects mother's excessive and mother effects son's deficiency' theory where it balance method of the inter-overacting five elements controlling Jang-bu organ's differentiations. The eighty-first Nan (${\ll}$難經${\cdot}$八十一難${\gg}$) explains strengthening-eliminating method of 'lung excessive and liver deficiency.' Since there are two different perspective of seventy-fifth and eighty-first Nan, we must compare and discuss to make right point of view. Conclusion : the treatment method in ${\ll}$Nan kyoung sixty ninth nan${\gg}$ could be understood as a view of five element constitutional theory (五行體質理論), the treatment method in ${\ll}$Nan kyoung seventyty-fifth nan${\gg}$ of eleminating fire and strengthning water in case of liver excess and lung defficiency and the treatment method in ${\ll}$Nan kyoung eighty-first nan${\gg}$ of strengthning liver and eleminating lung in case of lung excess and liver defficiency could be understood as a view of the yin-yan constitutional theory (陰陽體質理論).

본 연구는 30톤급 액체로켓엔진의 TP-GG-CC의 시동특성에 관한 연구로써, 기수행한 TP-GG 연계시험의 결과 및 예측에 바탕을 두고 있다. CC가 장착됨에 따라 주밸브의 개방시간을 결정하여야 하며 그에따라 시동특성을 살펴보았고, 다양한 밸브 개방시간을 적용하여 적절한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.
